My wife and I were celebrating the start of our anniversary weekend and initially loved the atmosphere. Before placing our order, we clearly explained our dietary restrictions, no dairy or gluten. The waitress wrote them down, but we weren't warned that the salad contained cheese or that most of the sauces were dairy-based. If we hadn't asked, it could have ruined our entire weekend. When my wife's meal arrived, it came out one item at a time, with an average of five minutes between each dish. Even after we spoke to the manager, the service didn't improve our remaining items were still delayed. The waitress seemed visibly irritated that we had escalated the issue, and from that point on, our service declined even further. In the end, despite the poor service and disappointing food, we still paid our $132 bill and left, vowing never to return. read more

Great for happy hour. The server was really busy, so there were some mistakes on our bill that we had to point out. They were very gracious about it and made the changes. The decor is super cute and there is a large outside patio. I highly recommend the wings and lobster taco. Ok so, sadly my 1st time experiencing this new tapa's bar, it was not up to par. I only stopped in for a cocktail or 2 and due to it taking like 40mins to receive my drink AFTER I ordered it...needless to say I did NOT feel the. Red to order a 2nd cocktail. I sat at the bar & was on my phone so, I ordered a cocktail while I took care of some business on my phone. When I looked up & realized after I was done...I still hadn't received what I order, I waved for my bartender and asked. One of the 2 ladies said oh ok, I'll get that for you. Another 10mins later, the other ladies come and ask me what type of drink did I order. Then w/out showing it on my face...I was irritated because, you still haven't brought my drink. Meanwhile I'm looking at all the food the came out...that looked tasty however, EXTREMELY small portions for the prices on the menu. (I was glad I wasn't hungry cause, even for tapas portions...this is kid serving; NOT tapas. So 15-20 minutes later...total of like 40-50mins later I finally received a drink and I can't believe it was NOT even what I ordered. Needless to say I drinked my cocktail cause, why in the world would I send it back after this lapse in time. I left after that and say...I would give them 1 more try another day. My servers were pretty much on her/their game = were attentive. Food: I decided to go w/the $4 Shrimp tacos since it was Taco Tuesday. I didn't think they were going to be street taco. (Heck I didn't even know flour tortillas came in flour tortillas &. I'm from Cali!) Now, they need to up the servings because, again...these are NOT tapas servings...it's obvious everything served is extremely extremely extremely small portions. Note: This pic appears bigger than in person. If you know what street tacos are...street tacos are tortillas that are kid size (extra small). I decided since the service was so, slow the 1st time, I would give this place a go again and sadly I am disappointed because, I was charged $44.34 for (3x$4 per taco; variety fries $14.95 & lemon drop Martina was $12) + $5 tip = $49.34. Now do you think what I ordered is worth the $50 I spent????? I could have ate at various places for this price & enjoyed a full steak dinner. Even the cocktails are pricey but, when it's convenient...I may do a cocktail here but, NOT food. P.S: I love love love Gocha's on Cascade but, this place disappoints me. I work generally around the corner from Gocha's and decided to go on a Friday night to check the vibe and customer service, after the initial visit I fell in love with the fast service and great waitstaff! We had a server Ari that went on to to do amazing things, but we miss her and loved how she came over to kick it with us a bit everytime we visited, it felt like home. My fav drink is been a long day and the passionfruit margarita, the happy hour drinks are tiny, but they pack a punch! I have tried nearly everything on the menu and it never disappoints.. crab and shrimp dip is bomb, the fish sandwich and truffle fries...amazing! I want some now thinking about them! Seafood omelette was yumm, along with the lamb and grits! Shrimp ceviche was also light and filling just enough. The server is a thief! On January 13, 2026, My line sister and I met here for dinner to celebrate Founders Day. Aside from the food service being slow, we had no other issues until a few days later when the charge was processed in my bank account. Our tab in total was $147.52 which included an automatic 20% gratuity of $23.03. I did not feel the service was worth an additional tip so I zeroed out the tip line, signed and left. When the transaction cleared my account, it was in the amount of $170.57. On Friday I went to the restaurant and spoke to the kitchen manager Deja who was very polite and shared concern about the fraudulent transaction. She pulled a copy of my receipt which was signed with a signature that resembled mine BUT on the tip line was not the 0 I wrote on the day of service but an extra $23.05 written in with the total of $170.57 written in on the total line. I immediately recognized that that was not my handwriting and let her know. She had me write a written statement and said she had spoke to the owner, Gocha, and someone would reach out to me that day or the next. By today, January 20, 2026, I had not heard anything so I went back to the restaurant. I spoke to another manager who made a call to Gocha to update him on the situation. When he came back he brought a picture of the statement I made and communicated to me that my writing had been compared to what was fasley wrote and it was concluded that it was "similar" to my hand writing. GET REAL!!! He then said they tried to reach out to me but couldn't reach me. As a place of business handling business it is my expectation that if you cannot reach someone you leave a voicemail or email. I received neither. The manager then tries to work the situation out by offering me HALF of the $23.05 out of his pocket, which I did not accept, because this is not about $23 BUT accountability of FRAUD! Needless to say I will not be supporting this business ever again and advise anyone who does to pay close attention to you account after visiting this establishment. I really love the neighborhood convenience, atmosphere and vibe. I stopped by after a long day of baking and then show rehearsal. Ash the bartender gave EXCELLENT recommendations. The service was quick and I was on my way home to rest and recharge in no time. I ordered the Brussel sprouts, loved them, and the salmon bites, they were a little overcooked for me. I like soft and flaky salmon. Gratuity is automatically included so make sure you add to (if you are satisfied with the service) what they suggest. Gocha's Tapas Bar is TOPS in my book! I'm so glad Gocha's is Tapas Bar is open! I have waited for this particular restaurant to open since hearing it was coming to the City of South Fulton. It is a food desert, especially fine dining or good eats dining. I will begin with the ambiance. I really like the decor and the indoor dining set up. I appreciate that there are no televisions because it allows for the patrons to focus on fellowshipping with one another. I also like that the outdoor space is spacious and it is the only space where hookah is allowed to be smoked. Everyone is not a fan of the hookah/dj/lounge restaurant trend. It appears that Atlanta has become a place where restaurants feel it necessary to have that as a staple in their establishments. Some of us just want to go to a restaurant to experience good food and fellowship. I hope that Gocha's will keep the hookahs outside so that we can have the best of both worlds without them merging. Now to the food...I have been here twice and sat each time I ordered the Salmon Seduction and Shrimp & Crab Dip with Chips. The second time I added Fried Green Tomatoes and the Shrimp Tacos. The Salmon Seduction is my favorite of the foods I've ordered thus far. The salmon spread along with the capers and onions are like fireworks on your tastebuds. It's an incredible blend of flavors. The Shrimp Tacos are by far the best I've tasted. The spicy salsa, radishes, and small chunks of avocado really take this dish to the next level. The Fried Green Tomatoes and Crab Dip are good, as well. With this being a place for small plates you may need to order more than just one. The service is warm and inviting. Shannon is a super friendly and attentive server. She had excellent recommendations and checked on us quite frequently. Lori, one of the managers, is really nice as well. Adrian, the hookah man, was really friendly and gave us some really great suggestions on flavors. My ONLY complaint and the reason for my 4 Star rating is because the food and drinks take way too long to come to the table. The drinks take longer than the food, which is backwards. They really need to do a better job at expediting the food line and the bartenders need to get the cocktail served in a more timely fashion. The people in this part of South Fulton need this restaurant in this area so I'm rooting for them to do well. I will be back because I definitely want to try more of their dishes! read more

I am a huge fan of Gocha's Breakfast Bar so I was excited to go to Gocha's Tapas Bar. Food again did not disappoint , drinks however did and the automatic 20% gratuity was unexpected but the waitress explained it's not just for groups of 5 or sitting at the bar but if the entire table's order is over $75 (regardless of splitting the bill) it's added. Last night, I met up with 3 friends at Gocha's Tapas to play Friday night R&B Bingo. It was my first visit and you can bet it won't be my last. The place was very aesthetically pleasing with a spacious design and chic decor. It offers indoor as well covered outdoor seating. We sat indoor and the chairs were stylish as well as comfy (which comfy matters most to me.) The music and staff's energy created an inviting vibe! We enjoyed the bingo, the DJ, the patrons sitting near us and especially our server KEZZI who took AWEmazing care of us from order taking, her swift drink and food service, helping us stay focused on our Bingo, to her helping me get my phone recharged since I had a LONG drive home and needed my phone as my GPS! KEZZI is the best and I'll be sure to request her on my next visit! Now to food. The menu is off the chain (almost too much to choose from), and everything I saw served all night looked super delicious! My friends ordered Ceviche, the fries trio and something with salmon & house made chips. They all loved their food. I arrived last so I didn't want to eat their leftovers, so I ordered lobster grilled cheese and a side house salad... but I requested Caesar dressing. I love what I call "grownup grilled cheese sandwiches". Baaaabyyyyy .... That sandwich gave me LIFE & the dressing on that salad had to be house made because it was Caesar-ing the heck out of that salad. They had put tomatoes and cucumber in the salad (which doesn't go in a Caesar salad) ... but that dressing was so good that I ate those veggies on the side and dipped them in the excess dressing in my bowl! The lobster sandwich was hearty yet not overly-filling. It had a light buttery but NOT oily taste and the cheese was not overpowering but rather the perfect complement the lobster which had rich meaty taste and texture (not fishy). I was scared to come to this location because I'm new to ATL and I had a long drive on a dark road to get there. Then it started rainy really hard and I was really worried about driving back home on the route in that weather. But the food, fun, friends and vibes made for a great night and ultimately made it all worth it. I will be back and will try Gocha's other locations as well! read more

If you want to go to a restaurant where the music is so loud that you can't hear the person next to you talk and smell the savory fragrance of Hookah this is the place for you. I ordered the salmon salad for $20.00 and was highly disappointed with the portions. I basically got a large bowl of spinach. 3 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese, 2 tablespoons of dried cranberries, perhaps 2 to 3 strawberries if you put them back together, half of an avocado and a overcooked piece of salmon by which I asked for it to be prepared medium. To add insult to injury the portion size was half of a cutlet of a piece of salmon if portioned properly. The manager refused to make any accommodations for the shortage of salmon, and repeatedly told me that she "wished" that she could do something for me. Additionally the salad dressing was so watered down it sunk to the bottom of the bowl. A whopping $32.00 for a salad that I had to take home and add seasonings and extra items to justify the costs. read more
