The guy sounded honest and professional over the phone quoted me a great deal on two tires $40 each. He won my business! But actually when I got there, I ended up not buying the tires cause I really didn't need them, which makes the owner a very honest business man. He's not out to steal money from you. Definitely coming back here and recommend it to my friends & family! Also they have birds & parrots galore! Didn't know until I drove up and heard them all singing at night time. Patched a tire quickly and inexpensively. This is a real patch, not the gummy rope kit, and it looks like he did everything right. The original tire position was matched like it should be and this is the first place ever that has put in the right air pressure. I don't know if a torque wrench was used but so far there's no shaking at speed. Yes, there are birds out front to watch while you wait. read more

I remember I thought that the shop was different when I went to the smog shop next door and noticed that the owner of Godingez Tires had a parrot hanging out front. They fixed my flat and installed it in under twenty minutes for $20...you cant beat that! Nice bunch of guys. read more

I had a set of tires installed on my Dodge Ram Quad Cab and this shop was the cheapest by a couple hundred dollars, and, the tires were Name Brand. I set up a time to get the tires installed and ended up getting some unexpected brake work done. Being as I am a salesperson myself, I did not detect any B.S. on the part of Tomas. I received quality service at a great price - which is exactly what I was looking for. I would not hesitate to use this shop in the future. read more

Great place to do a quick oil change. they cheched the tires, brakes and refill all the fluids at no extra charge. He suggested to relpace one of my tires since it had almost not tread left on it. Man $45 dls for a used tire and no feeeeesss at all he balanced and disposed the old one for the same price. I got a blow out on Central Expressway on the way to work and was forced to take the next exit. I was super lucky that at the end of of the exit was Godinez tires. I was upset at the blow out, and nervous because I didn't have much money. They offered to fix the tire right then and there (without an appointment and without waiting), and only charged me $20! I was so surprised because I was someone that could have been taken advantage of very easily (upset female that had no choice but to get a tire right then and there). I am extremely satisfied with their professionalism, and I will definitely be a return customer. This place is a rip off. No manners to deal with the customer. I went there to get a quote on new tires. They ignored me for 30 mins. And then a lady asked me what I need. She was checking with the guy each thing I asked and wasting more time. The quote she gave me for tires was more $200 that was offered at brand name stores for same tires. read more

Some really nice reviews here regarding your shop however today traveling on Sunnyvale Avenue, towards Fremont Dr., a 40 mph zone (until the school zone that starts about a block away from Fremont drive), one of your delivery vehicles driven by a person with short black hair wear sunglasses, and a dark shirt, blew past us like we were standing still - had to be doing close to 60 - this was about 3:30 pm or so. Fast enough and concerned enough that I felt I needed to take the time to call your shop. So I did just that, I called your shop (730-2396) at 3:58 (time stamp on my phone) to speak with a manager not with a complaint but with a heads up thinking maybe a reminder chat with the driver kind of thing. (Know too that I had a few passengers that will will attest to this.) Midway through my explanation the Sun-of-a-Gun that answered the phone, hung up on me! I might have considered your services based on some of the glowing reviews but now find myself kind of miffed and now sharing my story with family, friends, and coworkers. read more

I had a run in with a curb and took a little chunk out of my tire. It didn't seem bad but I decided to have some place look at it to be sure. I had little hope of any place not telling me to replace it (and of course the other front one) "to be on the safe side" but had heard good things about this place. Very glad I stopped in. Vicky was behind the counter and she immediately went out to my car and checked it out. She didn't think it was a problem but quickly checked to make sure it wasn't leaking. When it wasn't, she told me what to watch for as the tire gets older as the damage may cause it to leak eventually. About 3 minutes after I walked in, I was done. And no money spent. But I know now where I'll go to get new tires when it's time! read more

I pulled into my work parking lot coming back from lowes in Sunnyvale and realized my right front tire was going flat, picked up a screw I guess. Godinez is 2 blocks away so jumped in the car and drove over quickly. They pulled the tire off found a screw. I was going to get new tires this weekend or next but he showed me that my other front tire was worn too and the back tires weren't far behind so patching it wasn't a good idea to plug it so I just bought 4 new tires there since I can walk back to work. Dropped off about 9am on Tue, they said they had to order and have tires delivered would be ready about 2. 90 minutes later they called, car is done, they picked up the tires installed them and did a free alignment. they also found a bulb out in a brake light and replaced that no charge! Could not be happier, awesome service, nice people etc. And yes they have roosters and parrots in the front and kind of cool. read more
