The all-you-can-eat concept here is great and the variety is impressive, but wow... someone in the kitchen must really love salt. A lot of the dishes were noticeably on the salty side, which made it tough to fully enjoy more than a few plates without reaching for a lot of water. That said, the selection is huge, the food comes out quickly, and the staff keeps everything moving smoothly. If they dialed back the salt just a bit it would easily be a 5-star experience. I really wanted to like this location for lunch, but the food was very subpar, cold hot items, and my cake slices were stale. Everything tasted like it was left out and recycled from the previous day. The iceberg lettuce in the salad bar was turning brown as much of it wasn't fresh. The food was good, and the place was very clean. My issue was the lack of service. Now, the host and other staff were great--no complaints there. Our issue ( we were a party of three people ), was that our waitress never came by to collect plates, nor to offer us refills [ not even ONCE ]. Upon several occasions, we had to go up and obtain our own. I was rather furious: first, because one of our party was handicapped, and unbeknownst to me until he had then informed me that she had not been coming around. He had to go up and get his own. Yet she had no problem, waiting on the other surrounding tables of people. We were contemplating to not even tip her, yet in the end we did--but only out of obligation. Met, Erik, and Pete the Management team, awesome people. Sat in Rudy section and she was on point with everything. Very kind young lady, non stop going with helping customers with drinks, I saw her get an elder man , get a plate of food. The restaurant was clean and kept up . The grill staff was on point with the steaks, and saw the you man on the grill help a person with their food. Took my two children, and walked around and was looking for that steak and corn on the cob kind of grub. I then looked around the corner and see two roaches crawling in the mash potatoes and my 19 yo daughter comes to me saying my 12yo son just saw a baby roach on the table getting out of the napkin dispenser! I hate to rate any establishment 1 star but....the food used to be really good here. Now it's just not that good. Mushy food. We used to go here just for the hot bread. But now it's like a rock. Tough steak, sour fruit, almost no salad bar. A lot fewer selections. However the waitress was busting her butt. We gave her a nice tip. It looked like she was alone for the entire place. I use to take my family here monthly after church and the food was great and people working there was much friendlier than now. The meat were okay but many of the vegatbles seemed yo have been left out for a while. In the past, the trays were swapped out more regular and the entrees were not cold. There needs to be some policy put in place to make sure parents accompany their younger children when they want food from the buffet. Have more sanitation stations for people to wash their hands. read more

You go to Golden Corral to get as much quantity, variety as you can. The staff was pleasant. My table person cleared my bowl of soup that I didn't touch, but a fair error. Come for Thanksgiving lunch around 12am, there already lone until outside the door, but it doesn't take too long until we get the seat. The service are good, the restaurant also nice & clean. This location served the WORST food I have ever eaten at a Golden Corral. I have NEVER had a bad steak at a Golden Coral and I took one bite & threw it out. The icebergs lettuce was brown. Every single item I had was old and not fresh in the least. Absolute worst food experience I have ever had at a Golden Corral. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the young lady at the register was so sweet and our server Tina was such a hard worker, super sweet, and we never had to ask for our drink to be filled. I attend for the monthly Ham Radio club meeting. The service is solid. Living in the desert, I don't expect much in the seafood department, however the baked fish is really, really good! I used to be a fan of Golden Corral. Maybe lunch buffets at this place fall below the standard for dinner, but this was one of the worst meals I've eaten in a while. Nothing the staff could do to make it better. It's just not good food. You can salvage a meal out of a salad, fried chicken, and mashed potatoes. But the general poor quality of the rest of the buffet makes for a real disappointing experience. Give me enough time to forget, I will probably come back at another location and wonder why I didn't refresh my memory with this review first. It's a vegetarian I loved coming here because of all of the vegetable options. I filled my plate with broccoli, green beans, Brussel, sprouts, cabbage, which is one of my favorites. Then I'll add some scalloped or mashed potatoes. Or I'll get a baked potato. I also like getting their salad with various fresh veggies. I have a ton to eat without eating any of the meat options. My opinion of Golden Corral. I will say for those on a budget feeding a fussy family, this restaurant is a popular way to go. Also, if you are having a small group banquet, this place could appease a lot of different people. My opinion of the food is mediocre at best. There is nothing special about any of it. Today was the last time I plan to go into one. Before I start into my problems with the way they manage the place, I want to state that my mother is 98 years old, a veteran, and eats a helping the size of a Happy Meal burger and fries. Her food intake size hasn't changed since she was 97, and I have an ID to prove her age. Last year, the league I bowl in held their banquet there. Mom wasn't feeling really well stomach wise but went. They wouldn't allow her in without paying for a full Senior buffet. No, they didn't have a single serving meal available. At that time, they didn't have children's prices. So, we paid the $15 (this was the food plus they charged for our sodas). I didn't over fill her plate (as she doesn't walk well with a walker, and asks us to fill her plate at an event like this. She took 3 bites and was done. $15 for 3 bites. So, I asked for a TOGO container. You'd have thought that I asked for a free meal. After some arguing they brought us a container. This year, the league decided to return to Golden Corral. I went online and saw that they served single meals, so I thought we could do this. They now have children's banquets as well, which are $5 cheaper. Now $5 isn't a lot, but I knew she wouldn't eat much. After they told me they couldn't give me the children's price and the cashier knew nothing about a single serving meal, I asked to talk to the manager, which we waited over 15 minutes for. Now I think that they are afraid that this 5'1" 102 pound lady would eat a whale's worth of food, but seriously. Golden Corral refused to work with us. 1. They said to sit in on the bowling table, she would have to pay. They offered us the Senior discount, which was $13.89 a plate, and is what I would have payed for my meal. Add on the drink $3, and she still wouldn't eat what was paid. 2. They would not let her pay for a kid's meal, although she would eat less than a 5 year old. 3. They would not let her have a single serving meal as "they are only sold to be eaten outside of restaurant". 4. They offered to let us buy a pound of food at $9.99 (still more than the child sized meal), but she couldn't sit with the rest of us. Maybe they need to set an age limit above 90 at which the they could work with people on a discount. Needless to say, we won't be going back there, and if the bowling banquet continues to be held there, we won't be attending. read more

Oh my lord where to begin! Ok first off upon walking in, there weren't many changes made from before the fire. There are no longer trays provided to carry your drinks and prepackaged silverware! Note their forks and knives are individually wrapped, yet spoons for soups or desserts are out in the open! Now the promising part upon entry was I paid lunch price, but dinner service was beginning in a few minutes! Next in the promising front, you can once again serve yourself, you must be masked and there are boxes of plastic gloves located throughout the buffet! Sadly that's where the promising beginning ended! The food just looked sad, literally I could feel it's pain, and taste it's salty tears! And I mean that literally! Every thing I tasted was just so incredibly salty it was virtually inedible! The fried chicken was the only salvation, but it was barely lukewarm! The steaks were flat out disgusting, so salty you could feel you blood pressure rising just smelling them! The soups were old and sad, and starting to dry up and curdle, mainly because there were no lids on the soup urns. Gross! This was just a sad experience, and to be honest this was the worst food I've ever tasted! And no yeast rolls either! Well I saw all the cars in the parking lot so we decided to give it a try. The food was everywhere. The trip around the offerings took some time. Salad bar, soup, entrees, side dishes and deserts. If you go for volume then this is your place, you can fill up to near bursting. However if you are going for taste or great preparation you may want to hit the accelerator. Most of side dishes were dried out and tasteless ( add your own seasoning I guess). Fried chicken was passable. Salad bar ok. Deserts were sweet with carrot cake the nearest to good. the pre put together hamburgers and sliders were mmm bad.... I rarely leave reviews. Came here with my fiancé for Christmas after being on the road for past 4 days. It was extremely busy but the staffs were hardworking and nice. However, I want to give extra and special shoutout to Thomas who made my Christmas even brighter and warmer. He was really caring, sweet, and hardworking. The plates were piling up left and right and he was one of the very few that kept coming back to clean. If people observed his effort, I think many will agree as a lot of them were complaining about no one coming to clean the tables. Thanks to him, people were seated faster and able to enjoy their food. I would like to say he was the HERO at Golden Corral on Christmas!
