    Always out of boba
    Leigh C.

I pass this location every day mon-fri after work at 5PM and half the time they don't have boba. How is this possible? It's like McDonalds running out of fries. Location is very small, not very clean. Always has grade pending on the window. Workers aren't rude, but they are very cold. Do yourself a favor and go literally across the street to tea makers or any of the other ten bubble tea spots on the block.

Dedicated to serving fresh tea and ingredients, Gong Cha ensures its tea is brewed frequently throughout the day for optimal freshness. This dedication to quality, along with the ability to customize orders, distinguishes Gong Cha in the fast-expanding bubble tea industry. Their customisation of the tea and sugar is amazing and provide each customer with their own unique choices of sweetness.

A decent spot to get your milk tea fix! Pretty standard, but nothing special though. Their boba is made well and I didn't have any issues with service. Classic spot if you need something quick and easy for the go. I just got a standard milk tea with boba. They were able to make it warm since it was a bit chilly which I enjoyed! Overall, simple milk tea spot that will hit the spot!

Stopped by here for a strawberry milk tea boba and a little star peach crunch while we were in KTown. Both were so refreshing and delicious! Price is good and ranges from $4.50-6.50. Portions were big! Everything was very fresh and there was only a short wait. Highly recommend as you can also find them all over the city!

A staple selection in K-town. Out of all the bubble tea spots in K-town this is my favorite. The location is small and a line forms very easily but they do a good job about getting everyone their orders fast. The workers there a kind too. There's not much more to say. Lol As always thank you for the service and drinks. God blesssss

I love Gong Cha, and it's my first time trying a New York location. It definitely tastes amazing and very delicious. I prefer this over the one I tried in Baltimore, Maryland. The only thing I didn't like was how tight and crowded it was. This is not a big, sit-down restaurant like some of the reviews showed. This is more of a grab-and-go place-- tiny like a shack almost. It gets really tight in there when there's a lot of people going in and out. But they make the drinks very fast.

My first time tried Gong Cha and I will not try again. Ordered regular size iced strawberry milk tea with Boba. The ice is over 2/3 of the cup and I finished my drink but still feel thirsty. W*** Highly recommend ask for less ice. I don't want to pay $6 just for ice. Busy and you will need to wait in line 10-15 min.

my friend told me gong cha in nyc is WAYYYYY better than the gong cha in california and i had to test and see. we were in koreatown before heading to time square and i wanted to see what that was all about and it was honestly pretty good. i got the aiyu lemon tea because i wanted to try something new. the service and waiting to order took a bit because it was really crowded for such a small store. overall, a pretty solid boba place but then i needed to piss at times square and there was literally no bathrooms anywhere.

Very small tea shop right in the middle of Korea town. Just an order and go location. Lines tends to be long. I ordered the Lychee oolong tea for the ride back to the hotel room. It was very refreshing and good compare to other tea places I have went to while on this trip. I wish I had added some kind of topping to my drink. I believe you are able to pick your sugar level. Highly recommend this place to get your boba tea fix. Service was quick and prices are reasonable. Definitely will be back here when I am in NY again!

Standard, hole in the wall bubble tea spot. Lots of flavor options and customizations. There's only a counter to order at so you can't sit inside anywhere. The line can get long but the service is super fast.

terrible location, small and slow, drinks are fine but given so many boba spots on the same block I'd avoid.

Ordering frozen yogurt at this Pinkberry was one of the most horrifying customer experiences I've…read morehad. When I walked in, I immediately went to the display showing all the toppings. I've never been to a yogurt store that makes you pay a set price first before selecting toppings, which also means toppings are limited based on the yogurt size (something I only realized later after looking at a picture I took in the store). The employee who was supposed to help me immediately gave me attitude, as if I was supposed to already know all the "rules" of the store. I said nothing that would have warranted that reaction -- I simply went over to the display. At the register, I scanned my rewards app then couldn't find the card reader to pay. After about 20 seconds, I realized it was sitting on top of a case of water bottles (pictured). The topping limit signage was also placed off to the side of the register where customers wouldn't naturally see it -- it wasn't even on my side and was partially blocked. I only found this out when I went up to the counter after I got my yogurt. While choosing toppings, I asked how many I was allowed, and she responded, "How many toppings do you think you're supposed to choose?" with a noticeably rude tone. When I chose cookie dough as my fourth topping, she only gave me a few pieces, dropped another on the counter (pictured), and ignored it. The cookie dough topping was stale too. I also noticed she did not seem to treat other customers the same way. I eventually went back to the register - I asked her if the yogurt was actually strawberry matcha because it tasted like vanilla. I also asked about her rudeness because I genuinely didn't understand why I was being treated that way for asking simple questions. She said the information was "on the wall," even though it was difficult to see. I actually ended up apologizing earlier because she made me feel like I was burdening her. The only personable thing she said the entire interaction was that I didn't need to apologize, but the tone still felt unfriendly. Two customers sitting nearby ended up leaving without ordering. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday and she appeared to be working alone, which may have contributed to stress. Still, I left feeling extremely shaken and even spilled yogurt on my jacket afterward. I would not return to this location. I used to come to this location sometimes, but after this experience -- and a previous visit where I ordered a tea and received very little -- I would not return.

We still enjoy it, but seems like the toppings were not as good. The service was not bad but so-so. If you like froyo IMO this probably is the best tasting one.

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit at Port Authority 42nd Street's A, C, E trains and buses near the peripheral of Times Square.
