The wife and I have ordered two custom cakes from Good Cake Bakery so far and they have knocked it out of the park both times! Because some of our guests were diabetic, we asked that the cakes be made with almond flour- Good Cake was more than willing to accommodate. The cakes were very well decorated (photos below), very reasonably priced, and most importantly, delicious. I've since also stopped by to pick up some pan dulce- freshly made daily and they offer free coffee in the mornings to boot. This has become my favorite bakery. A good friend of mine needed a small wedding cake in two days. She asked for my help to find one. I visited four bakeries, and none of them were able to help me on such short notice. I stopped at the Good Cake Bakery. The woman at the counter was helpful and kind. She listened to my story and said she was very busy, but she agreed to take the order. When I arrived for the pickup, the cake was absolutely beautiful! Later I had the privilege of a taste. It tasted even better. The bride was very pleased. I'm forever grateful and intend to visit the bakery regularly. Don't let the small storefront fool you! It's fabulous. PS: I had one pastry . First of all, if I can give a 0 star Review I would. She changed me $155 for this cake very expensive and it's tasted terrible and I asked for dry vanilla and chocolate cake but is not what I get my son first birthday party it's was ruined but the cake was bad and no one eat it and it's was impossible to cut it. The cake was falling apart.. I will never go back Walmart cakes are good then this. I just wish I can get my refund back it's was terrible and disappointment. Very disappointed. read more

Thank God for Jay & Edgar at Good Cake saving the day! I walked in there two days ago to pick up a cake that I thought I had ordered. But in the confusion of texting the birthday girl what she wanted, and texting Jay... the ball had been left in my court, and I had neglected to respond to her last question so that she could proceed with the order. Added bonus for those in the area, when you buy a bread or pastry in the morning, they give you free coffee. How can you beat that? The double chocolate cake I bought was moist, not too sweet, and just the right size. I also bought a big cookie, which I haven't tried yet. Oh. My. Goodness. This little bakery is amazing! The owner is super friendly and is obviously a fantastic baker. We walked into the shop and it smelled like heaven. Seriously. I think that's what heaven should smell like - fresh, hot bread just out of the oven mixed with the slightly sweet smell of "ojos" of soft, spongy cake wrapped in puff pastry also just out of the oven. I mean, that's heaven, right? Good Cake Bakery has a very nice variety of baked goods, and there's even a nice little community board advertising other local companies. Shop small, shop local! We ordered a 3 Leches cake for my son's birthday in advance and received a confirmation acknowledging the details. We picked it up and cake was very pretty. When we cut into it this evening we find that it's a plain white cake. And even worse its dry and not good. We could have stopped by at the grocery store and gotten the same thing. We ordered two unicorn cakes for our wedding on April 20th. When we came in for our tasting, we had four sizeable taster cakes to choose from - Vanilla cake with Coconut Cream filling, Chocolate cake with Chocolate Mousse, Vanilla cake with Strawberry Mousse, and Chocolate cake with Tiramisu filling. All were delicious! We chose the vanilla/coconut and chocolate/chocolate mousse, and provided pictures from the internet (of course) of what we wanted, and color schemes for the Unicorns' manes. Despite the fact that Jay was having some personal issues around the time of our wedding, and a miscommunication between us regarding delivery time of the cakes, they arrived in plenty of time for us to serve, and were delicious and absolutely adorable! read more

I was lucky enough to meet the owners of this adorable bakery this morning. They are absolutely wonderful. I purchased a couple cake pops for my kids and after sneaking a bite, I have been kicking myself for not getting one for myself! THEY ARE SOOOO GOOD!
