This is my go to spot for AYCE sushi. It's a busy spot but worth the wait. Service is quick, staff is polite and fish is fresh!! I love Gorilla!!

Came for a late date night and it was not busy but once our food started coming out it started filling up quick. Service is kind and ambiance is great. I enjoy the music they play it isnt too loud so you can actually have conversation with the people you are with. We ordered veggie tempura, the salt edamame (we usually go for the spicy garlic but a few places have been a miss and we couldn't remember if this was one of them). For sushi we got Boom boom, red dragon, caterpillar, kiss of fire, Johnny, spider, 007, vampire, and hawaiian. They were all fresh and had loads of flavor. For dessert they do not have many options but we both got the mango mocha (They were out of the strawberry). They offer a stamp card which is a plus because we will definitely be back!

2.5 stars. I have no idea why this place has as many good reviews as they do. We went here for the AYCE sushi but decided to go a la cart. I'm glad that we did because the rolls were just average. Nothing to write home about. They were busy on a Thurs night and we had to wait around 10 mins to get seated. There isn't much place to wait inside, so we stood outside. This isn't a big deal at night but if you come here during the day, it might be a wait in the heat. The ambiance is casual, sports bar with a few booths. We ordered the Call 911 roll, the Kiss of Fire, the Spicy salmon roll, the Takoyaki, the Unagi sushi and a Hot sake. We love spicy food so a lot of our decision-making was based on the number of spice stars next to the rolls. The Call 911, which had 5 spice stars next to it and was recommended by the server as their hottest, was nowhere close to being spicy. In fact, the Kiss of Fire, which had 3 stars, had more of a kick. The server ended up getting us some spicy Korean sauce to heat things up. The rolls overall were ok. Same thing with the spicy salmon roll. It was fine. Nothing to write home about. The Takoyaki and the Unagi were just disappointing. Unlike the usual Takoyaki, these were half balls instead of full balls. They also didn't have the bonito flakes and the octopus was more pureed than diced. The Unagi looked nicer than it tasted. Instead of tasting the rice and the eel as a combination, it amalgamated into one melted bite, which wasn't as fun. The sake was fine. All in all, this was a very average dining experience and we will look for alternatives when we come back to Vegas next time.

    Dynamite. My favorite

Out of all the AYCE sushi restaurants in Las Vegas that I've been to, Gorilla Sushi remains consistent. By consistent, I mean food tasting the same. My favorites are the Gorilla Dream, Japanese Lasagna and Dynamite and the taste has remained the same. They're delicious and I'll continue to order them. We tried many other items during their dinner and so many items stood out like the Star Bucks, Salmon Kama, and almost all of their nigiri. Food came out fairly quickly, service was alright (can be improved), and ambiance is still the same with loud music but clean inside and somewhat spacious. If anything this will be my go-to AYCE sushi restaurant whenever I visit Las Vegas.

Place was recommended to me by a local lyft driver. I walked in and was seated immediately. The waitress seemed shy at first, but she slowly opened up as the time went by. I can't believe it's AYCE on both the back and front of the menu. I have never seen a place have that many options which was a plus for me! Food was delicious as I tried so many things to make it worth it. It was about $30 per person. The only downside of the restaurant is that the seats were wooden so it hurt my butt after a while of sitting there.

I'd actually give this place 4.5 stars! I think I just found our new ayce sushi place! A friend brought us here on a Saturday night. We had a fairly large party but they were able to accommodate us with reservations. Our server was amazing! Super friendly and kept coming around to check on us/put in more food order. Our food came out pretty quick! They do half rolls on the rolls that don't indicate "6 pieces" or "8 pieces". I love the variety of choices you get! Unlimited ramen and pho too! Whaaaaat!?!? ANNNND one choice of dessert is included!!! There are TV's with sports on and music videos playing which were pretty cool! I'd definitely be coming back and would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Absolutely yes!!!! This was such a good treat! Everything was fresh and delicious! We got the ayce lunch and there were so many options like there is something for everyone! I got the MGM and it had a sweet sauce so just be mindful I didn't like it but the had no problem switching it out for me! Read the rules because you'll be full before you know it !! I suggest ordering half rolls at a time but it was sooooooooooo good. Service was great and the vibes were chill really inviting.

Great price on lunch for AYCE, only $26 for so many great options. This is our first time here and the sushi/ sashimi are extremely fresh tasting and delicious. The baked mussels sauce was very flavorful and elevated the mussels so much more juicy. I recommend the sashimi salad. Service was fast, friendly and sushi ordered came out really fast too. Is hard to find a sushi place that's as delicious as this for the price stated. You also get a free dessert included in the ayce after you done, the mochi and the ice cream bar is very yummy! Parking is easy n plenty in the strip mall. Will be back again when we're in town! 9.5/10.

The food was great. Great experience. The food came out pretty fast. Service is great. Servers are attentive. The only down side is we waited so long to get seated!

Before we got to the restaurant they called us an said a table was ready (we were a minute away). So when we got to the restaurant we were seated right away. The restaurant also had plenty of parking out front. The ordering here was a little different then other places we've been to. They give you a menu and you place each order with a staff member. But, like other places there were some menu items which was one order per person. So we ordered some of those - soft shell crab, LA Galbi, and Oysters. The Soft Shell Crab was humongous and very tasty! The LA Galbi was a really good portion and grilled to perfection. The Oysters were a good size with the only complaint that it was one order/one oyster per person. We let my wife have them all as Oysters are one of her favourites. All the food was really good, well presented, fresh, and tasted great. We liked the large assortment of rolls and that you could get a half order - that allows you to try without being to committed. Salmon Avocado Temaki (hand cone) were great and good ration of avocado/salmon/rice. The tempura was not too oily. There is a limit on dessert but we were so stuffed that we could only get one ice cream and 2x Melona ice cream bars to share. Staff were extremely friendly and came around often. This was good because you always had to place an order through them. On this night it was quite busy and the noise was moderate and we could still hold a conversation. The large portions, the fresh fish, ability to get 1/2 order rolls, good selection of desserts, friendly staff, and relative closeness to the strip makes this a gem and we definitely will come back again.

On the particular evening that we went, either they were extra busy and had too much customers from CES... but they ran out of sushi rice and did not have any hand rolls....How does a Japanese restaurant run out of rice??? We were super disappointed and ended up just getting skewers. Itzakaya Tora, you definitely need to step up your game and have better management in the future for these big events. I don't think they are that new of a restaurant, but they definitely let me down. Chicken and pork skewers ($2 per skewer, 7/10) - super juicy! You can definitely taste the charcoal and barbecue flavor. They do a great job of keeping each skewer, moist and juicy, that I didn't feel like I was eating burnt skewers like you get at some other restaurants. - $2 per skewer is pretty good for the happy hour deal, but I think it's much more expensive during the regular menu option. Don't think it would be particularly worth it with their regular menu. Overall, super disappointed that they didn't have any more of their sushi, rice and best do not have any $5 hand rolls during their happy hour. Also, the wait was super long to get in, and they were definitely understaffed. If they had all their food selections available, this would probably be a higher rating, but the long weight and lack of menu items was super disappointing.

We were in Vegas for a trade show, four hungry humans ready to test our limits and this place did not disappoint. Incredibly delicious!…read more When on a Vegas trip with my friends and in desperate need of some sushi, we Doordashed Ono Sushi to our hotel on the Strip. Despite it being a busy Saturday night, the food was finished quickly. We were impressed by how affordable it was for how much food we got. It was insanely delicious. The nigiri had a perfect fish to rice ratio and were juicy and tender. The rolls held up well and were not overloaded with rice. The kimchi fried rice was warm and flavorful. We enjoyed this meal so much so that we decided we would visit them in-person the following day. When we pulled into the parking lot and saw the sign that said "All You Can Eat," I think I started jumping with joy. Being a California native, I am incredibly shocked to say that this is the best sushi I've ever had! It is also the largest sushi menu I have seen - it has a Cheesecake Factory level of items on the menu. We got to ordering the Bulgogi fries as a starter. They were super juicy, sloppy, and delicious. I was hesitant to order them but was pleasantly surprised. I was thrilled with all the nigiri options. There was only a little rice and the flavors of the fish really shined. The seared salmon was definitely my group's favorite because of how tender it was. The A Monkey's Dream roll was shockingly good. I would have never expected a caramelized banana and sushi pairing so well together. The crispy bits on top of the Sunrise Roll were delicious. The rolls were all thick, saucy, and super flavorful. If I had to stomach capacity to try them all, I totally would. This spot is relatively small with only a few tables. When we went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, it was pretty much empty. Considering you have a 90 minute eating period for the AYCE, the food came out super fast after placing them with the waitress. To me it felt like the waitress didn't come by often, but some of my party disagreed. For the low price of $27 (lunch price) for such high quality AYCE sushi, if I'm in the area again, I will definitely be coming back.

I'm not sure, but it added to the feeling of being overlooked. The food was fine, but the unnecessary drama and poor service ruined the experience. I wouldn't recommend this place. It felt like they care more about putting on a show for certain guests than treating all customers equally.
