Food was delicious and the service was great! Have eaten here 8 to 9 times now, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!

I love the service here, I also love that you have three many to pick from they have the monkey, gorilla, and King Kong. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because I do feel like the quality of the food is not the best anymore. There are many are so big that they don't really specialize in anything, don't get me wrong there's items on the menu that are really tasty before the most part the food itself would not make me want to come back. The service is another story I will always come here for the service. It does seem like they have added more decor and the seating is so much more open, which I enjoy because it's loud enough where you can have a conversation but you're also separated enough where you can hear the people in your table.

Our first time at Gorilla Korean Grill. We walked in with reservation on my birthday and were greeted and seated right away. They have an extensive menu options with 3 different packages, Monkey- $26.95, Gorila for $33.95 and King Kong for $39.95. So here's the good part, if it's your birthday, you get a free meal with photo ID however they require you to have a minimum of 4 ppl and everyone need to purchase the same package price. We started off by ordering soft tofu soup and the pork backbone hangover soup, steamed eggs, edamame, corn cheese, soft shell crabs and shrimp tempura. For meat we ordered, pork kalbi ribs, ribeye beef, beef tongue and beef briskets and a side of rice. Yumm!! Brianne was our server and she's efficient and patient with us. Thanks Brianne and Gorilla staffs! We'll be back.

Absolutely the best food hands down, Service is always optimal . Food is fresh , Fast service.

Fried ribs.....this was really good. Had 2 orders

Only reason I gave it a 4 star was due to service. It was really slow. It was pretty empty until we got there and they got a little bit busier. Not that many options. Pretty decent cuts. Appetizer were good.

Our first time here in 2026 but not our last. This place always has the best service. The best music and videos playing! The food is always fresh and the appetizer options are always so good! Definitely recommend this place! Don't sleep on this place!

It was out first time here because we were craving for Korean bbq. It was a Thursday New Year's Day. We walked in and got seated right away. Upon entering the restaurant it feels as if everyone stops and greets you in Japanese language. Aka they make you feel welcome. Their ceiling were full with stringing lights which looks pretty cool. They had 3 different menus prices we decided to choose the gorilla menu. The service was so fast. We were still ordering and the appetizers and banchan came out. We tried the deep fried pork chops and it was alright. The garlic edamame was too garlicky for my kids. The pork rib soup was good. The soft shell crab 10/10. We ordered the rib eye strap, beef belly and beef brisket it's the normal meats we order at a kbbq place. I was bummed that they didn't have cucumber kimchee. The service was awesome the severs consistently checked up on you. The restrooms were well kept they did have a baby changing diaper in the ladies room. I'm definitely will be back here if I'm on this side of town for sure.

Melon pop for dessert, 3 grills, and many plates of sauces, sides and meats later!

This was SO GOOD! We normally go to Chubby Cattle but they opened later and we're so glad we found this place! We got the King Kong menu for $40 which is already cheaper than chubby cattle. Everything was delicious from the meats, sauces, to sides/veggies. Highly recommend! Music is a vibe, some reviews said karaoke vibes and I agree. A range of music genres, but definitely timeless hits all across to make everyone want to sing and vibe. Service was very attentive and place is clean. Just come get you some! Dessert melon pops so tasty too!

Lots of free parking ! Friendly staff! Lots the lights and lots of tv screens playing sports, videos and you can practically sing like it's a karaoke bar in there. If it's your birthday you get a free meal! Must be NV ID. The food was great! Will definitely go again when visiting. Check it out!

This has been my go to spot for Korean bbq as it is close to me and the price can't be beat with their discount for UNLV students and making use of their punch card. If you also provide a Yelp review you get a drink taken off (nonalcoholic of course). Always enjoy the meals!

My son's choice for his birthday dinner. Wow what an experience.. the food was excellent and the service even better. This was my first time doing Korean bbq. It takes a while to cook the food but it is a fun experience. The restaurant was lively and many people were enjoying their experience. It is a fun time and we will be back. The meat selection is very good and there are many sides to add on. Walked out super full.

Amazing Korean BBQ. I have been to other places and I will say this is my new favorite. I love that there were so many options to season the food and many different sauces. They have a good variety of appetizers, sushi and meats that are AYCE. If you like Gorilla Sushi, you will like this place. It has the same atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is fresh and delicious. I loved everything we ate. We will definitely be back!

Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. The tuna melts in your mouth and bite after bite is a wonderful experience as you pair it with soy sauce, fresh Wasabi, yuzu Wasabi, or some combination of the condiments provided. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. The chef slowly roasts them over a 2 hour period, rotating the potatoes every so slightly every 15 minutes. The sweet potato could be a dessert by itself, it was that good! Chef Shuji is a charming and funny host. He regularly comes out to greet his customers and makes sure they are enjoying their meal, very high-touch. If you know Japanese - even if it's just a few phrases, speak with him as he will be delighted. He was absolutely tickled when we said arigato and he shared that he is originally from Kyoto. The nigiri here is really good and like the other Yelp reviews here say, the fish to rice ration is perfect. Lots of fish to little rice. We had some rolls that were pretty good and some rolls that were not good at all, and you have to finish them otherwise they charge you. The rolls had the worst rice to fish ratio and just didn't taste good. Lots of "filler" in there, don't get the rolls when you come. We got the A menu, but honestly we could have done without the specialty items. They were good, but ordering a bunch of nigiri is enough. Overall, I would come here again, but just don't get the rolls, they're not worth your stomach space and they're not good. Would have given this place a higher rating if not for the bad rolls we had.
