    SHRIMP AND GRITS
    Sonja P.

The food is really good. I especially like how all the fruit on the plates were on the sweet side, even the strawberries. I've had the minced Kobe hamburger which was really good, and could be cooked rare. I also had a shrimp and grits. Iron skillet corned bread came with lavender butter. Nice spacious restaurant with no wait around 11-12. I had the same female waitress the few times I've been, and she was really inattentive and not that friendly. I don't really like having to flag the waitress down for every single thing (and having to raise my voice), even ordering. Everything felt like it was taking too long for brunch, when it was moderately busy. Food is good but not worth my time to return.

The location and service is great! We went there for brunch I ordered the shrimp and grits, my husband ordered the eggs Benedict. Honestly I can say that I have had better especially for the price. The shrimp and grits, had 4 pieces of shrimp, and 4 slices of andouille sausage, 2 eggs, spinach and grits. The sausage and the spinach added more flavor and character. However the grits were not very flavorful. My husband's eggs Benedict was good, the hollandaise sauce needed a little more flavor. The potato cake was tasteless. The ambience is nice and the service great but the food left me flat.

    Eggs Benedict $24

Busy Sunday morning in a cute place. Service was prompt and friendly. Unfortunately we were both disappointed. My $24 Eggs Benedict was served with a bland Hollandaise sauce that was completely lacking in character. The potato cake that was served with it was small, bland and cold. My wife commented that it tasted like a frozen hash brown that had been undercooked. The $28 shrimp and grits included four shrimp of questionable quality, several small slices of sausage and almost no grits. Neither entrée was bad, but at these price points they should've been much much better.

Shrimp and grits with eggs and hollandaise sauce was excellent. Try this for brunch- you wont be disappointed Pancakes were very light and fluffy. The egg and pulled pork taco was excellent Unfortunately they sold out of grace's cinnamon iced rolls so order as soon as you sit down to hopefully get them

Service was efficient and speedy! We were expecting to wait ~30 minutes for a table but got seated in 8. There's a lot of bustle here during the brunch rush but once you're seated it's easy to relax and enjoy yourself. The place is large but just small enough to still feel cozy. I don't usually order dishes I've never heard of before, but when our server read the Turkish Eggs special and mentioned the yogurt, dill, salmon, and poached eggs, I couldn't say no! I was pleasantly surprised by how well the smoked salmon and yogurt dill sauce went together, made better by the runny yolk of a perfectly poached egg. I would absolutely go back just for that special. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, though you can only get so excited about pancakes. Chilaquiles were delightfully savory, the plate was practically licked clean. Overall it's a great brunch spot for any weekend occasion!

My girlfriend and I stopped by Grace's Table for brunch while in Napa, and overall it was a great experience. She ordered the shrimp and grits, and I went with the chilaquiles, plus we both got iced vanilla lattes. I'll admit--I'm not a big grits person, so her dish wasn't really for me, but the chilaquiles were incredible. Easily the highlight of the meal. The space itself is pretty packed with tables, so it can feel a little cramped, but it's clean and has a great atmosphere. There's tons of natural light, and they have a wall that opens up, which lets in fresh air and makes the place feel more open. Overall, we had a really solid dining experience. If we find ourselves back in Napa, we'll definitely be back.

I came here once before and the food was pretty good. I was shopping in napa with my mother and brought her here. We had fresh beet salad which was absolutely delicious. We both got the flat iron steak with eggs. Her eggs were scrambled and mine were poached medium. I have to say they do an excellent job with poaching your edges to request. However I asked for my steak to be medium rare and my mother asked for hers to be medium well. I knew there was gonna be an issue and sure enough, my steak was not medium rare. I would have sent it back except it tasted good so I decided not to make a fuss. We arrived about 15 minute to the end of brunch and the gentleman kindly allowed us to be seated. Our order was promptly taken and he was warm and welcoming. The woman, however who took our order was not so warm and welcoming. It was clear she was less than happy to have latter day diners. She wasn't rude, just flat. The restaurant was nice and they had the doors pulled up garage style. The weather was good so it definitley was warranted. Overall, I will return and come earlier in the day so as not to annoy anyone . Lol.

I hadn't been here in a while so we took my little sister to celebrate her birthday the other day. Such a great spot! I love that they open the side of restaurant on sunny days ano they have outdoor seating too. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service has always been great. We ordered the house cured salmon gravlax, kobe flat iron steak and eggs, toasted baguette w jam and chilaquiles. Can't wait to be back.

We came here before driving back home and it was so good! It was super busy but we were sat right away on a Sunday at around 1pm. The restaurant itself is pretty homey with a touch of industrial feel. They have a pretty interesting cocktail menu and of course wine but I was too tired from all the wine from the day before. I enjoyed the shrimp and grits but it could've used a touch more salt but the sausages were good! My husband wanted the Kobe burger, and he asked the waitress if he could have it with all the fixings that come on the club sandwich. She was so nice and figured out how to put it in the system for him lol. He said it was made really well and the meat was good quality, My favorite thing were the skillet cornbreads. I love the taste of the lavender and the butter. I could've devoured 4 of them by myself! Service was super friendly but just a little slow. They would sometimes forget little things we asked for like refills on coffee and our side of ranch.

Overall a solid experience. Service was okay. The team was definitely working hard! Our appetizers came out really quickly, which was nice. The cornbread was fantastic and the lattes were also really good. The only hiccup was that the main food took a little longer than expected. I'm not sure if our order was sent in late or if it might have been sitting in the window for a bit. My steak and eggs came out hot, but the steak was a little too crisp for my liking. Other than that, no real complaints about the experience. It was still a nice meal overall. Ambiance is casual for brunch, good music too.

Grace's Table is a gem I found in Napa while on vacation. The food was excellent; specifically the cornbread and lavender butter which was a treat! I was seated by opening of the restaurant. So I got to enjoy the views of the street as I enjoyed my meal. I highly recommend this place if you're visiting Napa and want a wonderful dinner.

Special of the day: Turkish Eggs
    Keyana B.

I love a place that gives a overestimated wait time and then we get seated even sooner! Service was great! I loved their blood orange spritz. I had the chilaquiles and my friend got the special of the day which was a Turkish eggs that had smoked salmon and my other friend got the fish tacos and everyone enjoyed their meals. I will say that the fish tacos seemed not a lot of food considering the price. In the summer the patio would be a great place to sit but we came on a overcast/chilly day!

    Gravlox plate.
    D. G.

First time breakfast experience: My fiancé had steak and eggs: steak with bordelaise was tender and cooked perfectly, eggs optimal as well, and she loved the peperonata potato cake -a nice variation on the breakfast potato theme. I had gravlax plate that featured silky fresh delicious cured salmon, and the garnishes were amazing: chopped hard cooked egg, capers, microgreens, red onion, cherry tomatoes and cream cheese. That said, while the mini bagels served with it tasted just fine, salmon this yummy deserves a better bagel. Service was great, coffee was strong and we'll definitely be back. We also brought home a cinnamon roll that might be worth the trip alone.

The ambiance is spectacular. If you can get one of the side tables under the overhang with the wine bottle chandelier you'll love it. Here's what we ordered: Borscht with Beef: Traditional red soup made with beets, beef, garden vegetables topped with sour cream- To me it didn't look appetizing, but it's a traditional dish so we split a cup. The mushrooms were not pre-roasted, which would have given more flavor too. It was painfully bland. Spätzle was also swimming in a similar, basic cream sauce of cream, butter, salt, and flour. The plain sauce on the noodles reinforces the plain oily mushroom sauce and it becomes heavy, oily, cloying, and overwhelmingly bland. There is enough salt in both dishes, just not enough flavor from herbs, spices, onions, and garlic. From what I see in the pictures, it wasn't just an off-night, that's is how they make their dishes regularly. As a German from Germany, that makes me sad because it could and should be much better.

The food is still as delicious as ever, and the staff is more than happy to guide you through their extensive menu to find the perfect dish that suits your taste buds. One of the standout features of The Speisekammer is its large screen TVs, making it an ideal spot to watch the World Cup soccer matches. The cocktails are equally impressive, expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. During the fall, The Speisekammer truly comes alive with Oktoberfest celebrations. They throw an extravagant German party that is unlike any other in the East Bay. The outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy the beautiful weather and socialize with friends. I highly recommend The Speisekammer for anyone looking for a fun and delicious German dining experience. I plan to return soon to catch some soccer matches with friends and soak in the lively atmosphere.

Paired well with the apple sauce or alternatively the sour cream. Dinner: Weissekohl Rouladen/cabbage leaves stuffed with seasoning beef and mashed potato side. Really enjoyed it! Wasn't too heavy.

It helped that one of the workers came out with a megaphone and explained how everything works and the history behind it being the oldest building in Napa. Once we were seated, the food and drinks came out pretty quickly. The food was tasteful and portions were generous. I ordered the omelette y pan and the mimosa flight. The mimosas were delicious and balanced.

There will be a line that looks like you are about to get on a Disneyland ride but it's not as bad as it looks. Once you order and sit down, the magic truly begins. Let's talk food real quick. So I've been here twice and I've been blown away both times. The Breakfast Sandwich is even tastier than you could imagine while being the perfect amount of food. There's something about that spicy mayo that really brings the bun and protein all together. The star is definitely the Burrito de Chorizo. This is easily the best Chorizo burrito I've ever had. If you just gave me the Burrito by itself you would have been fine. I mean the Chorizo itself isn't super greasy and I never get that feeling like after I've eaten 4 items from Taco Bell. The thing that sends your taste buds into the stratosphere is the Salsa itself comes with. It's like a smokier salsa and that alone is music to my heart and soul. If it ever gets too spicy it comes with sour cream to cool you down. But I almost guarantee if you order this, it's gonna be hard to pull away from that Burrito. Also the Paloma and El Berto drinks are amazing. The Mimosa flight is very much worth the price. Uncle Wigs is good but on the lighter side booze wise. So if you are lightweight, this could be a good choice. La Cheve has a unique system with ordering and getting your table. Normally if you go to a place where you order and then sit, you are usually allowed to sit where you want. Here they actually still show you to your table. However you won't have to wait super long for your food because once you sit down you see how well oiled the machine really is. The team at La Cheve is able to carefully manage the seating so that it never ever really feels like there is chaos. Some people might look at the open tables around them and be confused but not me. You ever go to a restaurant where its so loud that you have to turn your speaker volume up to 11/10? I can't stand that. Part of going out to a restaurant whether it's your friends or family is the experience. I want to reconnect with the people I love. I want to have pleasant and fun conversations. So when you pair that with the already good food and drinks, I think La Cheve has really mastered the full dining experience in their own unique way.
