We tried this place while down in SC for our daughters orientation at CCU. There are 4 of us so the restaurants that we choose has to accommodate all of our tastes. This place did that, it had something for everyone from seafood to burgers. The accommodations where comfortable and the view was great. Why on the world would anyone dine anyplace but here when visiting Myrtle Beach? After trying many of the horrible restaurants from the tourist booklet, we asked some locals where to go. What a godsend! Kendall, our very sweet and able server, helped us navigate the menu and beer selection making for a wonderful evening for my family. We started with a local IPA beer which was perfect for the three dozen PERFECT raw oysters we slurped down. The smoked ribs, "naked" of any sauce were indescribably delicious. Even that accolade doesn't do them justice. We also had local clams on linguini, again without red sauce, which was very good. The desserts were equally good. The best of all was the friendly, local atmosphere, wonderful service which was a breath of fresh air after the miserable tourist traps we visited. Did I already say how great Kendall was? The Large Jumbo Lump Crab is a nice appetizer that can double as an entree for light fare. $9. My daughter had the Flounder Basket with fries and side of slaw. ($10) My son opted for the Salmon Tacos... 3 tacos with all the fixings for $10. A slice of Key Lime Pie for $6 we all three split. Total w/ water to drink: $45. Service was a 8/10 thanks Michael. I was very excited to try this restaurant, since it had pretty good reviews, but after our experience last night I certainly won't be recommending to my friends. We came into town from Charleston and ordered drinks before our meal. The cocktail that I ordered tasted very gross, I'm not sure if they use cheap alcohol or the mixture was just way to acidic for me, but I didn't like the drink at all. I took one sip and realized I couldn't drink it. I apologized, but explained I couldn't drink it and I politely asked if I could please return it and have a simple glass of wine instead. The waitress returned saying that they would not be able to take the cocktail off of our bill. I was extremely confused about this because I would assume that a manager would want folks, especially first time guests, that had a reservation, to enjoy their meal and have a great time (so they would choose to return again, and share their great experience with friends). I proceeded to order the glass of wine anyway and our table ended up ordering $140 worth of food as well. I've worked in the hospitality industry in the earlier part of my adult years, and I rarely experienced a manager not honoring a very simple and honest request from a disappointed customer. I certainly won't be returning or referring any of my friends, neighbors or colleagues to Graham's Landing.. This was a $6.50 drink, so it was certainly not about the money, but it was 100 percent about the management's lack of effort to please their guests. This restaurant really needs to improve their customer service. read more

Stopped in here on vacation Saturday for lunch. Not busy and seated right away. Wanted to sit outside for marsh view but smoking is allowed outside so server seated us by a window. Very casual dining with bar close to tables. Took a while to get 4 lunches but came out hot and fresh. Cole slaw was tasty and crispy, oyster po' boy was good. Tater tots were hot and crispy. The service was good but our waitress had too any tables so there was a bit of a wait at the end and since we were trying to catch a movie it was a little annoying. We were in South Myrtle Beach for the holidays and thought we would give Graham's Landing a try since they have good reviews. I had their special on Sunday night which was scallops and pasta with Sriracha sauce. My wife had flounder on pasta.Both of our dishes were rather bland and there were way more noodles than seafood. The Side salad which came with the meal seemed pre-made in a small bowl which reminded me of an school cafeteria type salad. My wife had garlic bread on the side and it was over done and rather Hard. Just pulling into town and starving, Graham's landing was simply the closest restaurant. My husband, who spent childhood summers in myrtle was unfamiliar and therefore had reservations about eating in Murrel's inlet. Three weren't many diners at the 4 o clock hour, but the staff was extraordinarily friendly, and accommodating to my toddler, which is always a plus when dining out with her. We ordered quesadillas, fish tacos and wings. While not the most inventive menu, everything was solid, and delicious. Great local eating experience. I shared some wings,grouper bites, and she-crab soup with my buddies and then blackened grouper as my entree. Our server was great. He fussed over us like he was the owner and we were the only customers, but we most assuredly were not. We got a few desserts like fried ice cream, bourbon cake, and key lime pie. All the food was extra delicious! The young owner came by and chewed the fat with us for about 10 minutes and gave us some great tips on breakfast places. We have dined here four or five times now. The view is great and most of the food is good. The service can be spotty. Make sure you don't go at Lowtide because like most restaurants on the marsh the odor takes your appetite away. Negatives are the cheap uncomfortable plastic chairs on the deck. They need high pub chairs so that the view is not blocked by the rail on the deck. The wooden booths inside have plastic life preservers for padding and are horribly uncomfortable. My girlfriends elderly mother had to leave because of it. Positives are delicious oysters Rockefeller and their clams. Everything else I've tasted has been decent to good. Very relaxed atmosphere but a little pricey for uncomfortable seating. read more

This place was highly recommended, but we were not happy here tonight. The facility is a bit run down. Reminded me of a country bait shack with a bar. The menu is limited. My wife had the ribs, which were meaty and tasty and fell off the bone. And the service was very good. Those are the positives. My stuffed shrimp was not fresh, cooked rubbery, and the "crab meat" stuffing had no crab and was only breading. I left half of the shrimp. Both meals came with green beans and a supposedly twice baked potato. The beans were seasoned in a not tasty manner. We didn't eat them. The potatoes were a half small potato that was left over from lunch, or maybe last week, and had some dry cheese on top - no sour cream and definitely not twice baked. We left half of those too. The men's room on the way out the door was dirty and rusty. All this for $60 with tip, no drinks. The ribs and service was what earned the two stars. Otherwise 0-1. Glad to be gone - will never go back. Could have gone to Cracker Barrel just up the road and been much happier! read more

Great late afternoon stop for lunch. Marshview dining. Service was fast, accurate, friendly, and handled our adult child with disabilities without a second thought or glance. We started with fried green tomatoes. The portion was generous enough to share easily. The New Orleans ranch is made in house and was a nice complement. The pimiento cheese that accompanied it was also tasty, and probably deserves to be an appetizer on its own. We also had the Cuban sandwich which could have used more mustard.
