We tried this place for dinner during our last night in Sister Bay and we loved it! The service was great and we were greeted with smiles! My wife and I tried two different burgers, a house soup and some cheese curds and all of it were well cooked, seasoned, and very tasty! They have this sign under the drink station called "Jim Morrison Blvd" that my wife lived, and really tied in the chill ambiance of the place! Because of a previous review I read I opted for the meatloaf dinner. Started off with a side salad, which I find very notable because what side salad comes with chickpeas, sunflower seeds and fresh peas?!Generous portions too. Meatloaf itself was rich and flavorful, topped with crispy onions and mashed potatoes with a sliced vegetable medley on the side. Definitely not disappointed. This place was SO good - the group favorite if you're looking for healthy, fresh ingredients. Right now, they only have their food 'to go,' but offer several large tables for outside dining (or take it to the nearby park/beach for a picnic). This place is the BOMB! It's super casual and great service. Great for families. Love the vibes in here, def has a local townie feel to it.

My wife and I enjoyed a Monday fall breakfast. Not your typical Grill as they cater towards breakfast and lunch but have a limited number of beers on tap as well. While a Monday, a steady flow of customers came through the door while we were there. Wonderful ambience. Nearly all repurposed furnishings and decorations with a farm-house atmosphere. Genuine articles that are unique to the restaurant. Water served in mason jars to add to the character. I almost felt like I was in my grandmother's kitchen on the farm. Friendly service; welcoming and attentive. Food delivery was very quick even though it was relatively busy. Food was prepared well, attractive and tasted good. Menu is relatively small but what they do they do right. The majority of ingredients are locally sourced. Some typical items to be found (skillets, pancakes) but many unique to Grasse's (chai spiced granola cakes, hippie breakfast). I really enjoyed my biscuits and gravy. We also shared a mimosa flight which was fun. The only minor negative was the quality of flatware. Maybe it was keeping with the atmosphere but the utensils were cheap feeling. We happened to stop only a couple of weeks prior to them closing for the winter but were very glad we did! read more

Don't make the mistake I made and NEED this place on a Tuesday. Darn. They are closed. But go early in your trip because you'll probably want to come back. Best food we have had in Door County yet. Appetizers of Renard's fried cheese curds were great...yes there is an "s" on appetizers because we had to order more curds. Seated fast for a late lunch. Our waitress was friendly, personable and could not have taken better care of our table of five. Chambers Island Honey Chicken, Fish Tacos x2, Hippie Tacos (try the cauliflower which is surprisingly good and flavorful) and loaded Mac and cheese with a generous dose of crispy bacon...all delicious. We had a late lunch here on our way through. Seems dinner is 5 or later, so we ordered off of the lunch menu. Burgers for the gents and I had the brisket sandwich. Fabulous "healthier" and vegetarian friendly menu. You can tell the ingredients are minimal and fresh. We ordered the nachos as an app and a HUGE plate of vegetarian friendly happiness appeared. As a mac and cheese connoisseur I was very pleased with the Nana's mac and cheese ( good cream base on capatavi pasta) and my husband liked his fiesta veggie burger and loved the sweet potato fries (shoestring cut and a very good batter and crisp to them). Honestly the place had a solid 4.5 (service was a smidge slow to start) but then I saw that all the girls working the front were wearing super cute vintage aprons, and that sealed the deal. We were in Sister Bay for vacation and I enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Grasse's Grill. I ordered the Hippie Breakfast, and they made it vegan for me (ie, no eggs, no cheese, no green chili crema). It was really tasty! Although Grasse's is in the heart of Sister Bay, it wasn't totally packed with other tourists. I was able to enjoy my Hippie Breakfast, coffee, and a book in a pretty laid back environment. Service was good and prompt. read more

Always a great reliable place to grab great bite for lunch. My salad was filled with carrots, strawberries, apples, and most importantly cherries. The food here is among the best in Sister Bay. The whitefish wraps from Grasse's were markedly better than those from the nearby Husby's. There's no more tableside wait service ever since COVID. You order your drink and food at the counter, with the food being brought out to you. We enjoyed sitting outside here, and the inside is done well, too. Easily one of my favorite lunch spots. The simplicity of the outdoor seating, as well as the hot dog stand style ordering experience seem a little odd for a "nicer" lunch spot, which does lead me to hold back one star from what was otherwise a nearly perfect visit. read more

We stopped in around 215 after we got into town. This would be a 5 but we both found our food to be a little bland and determined that we would probably venture elsewhere before coming back. My wife and daughter ate here on a Sunday night. Everything we ordered was fresh, well prepared and delicious. We started with the Trio appetizer All 3 spreads were good and the fresh veggies served with were crisp and flavorful. We tried fish tacos, ribs and brisket as our entrees. They were all good. The service was excellent. The tacos are normally grilled but my daughter asked to have them deep fried. The waitress also worked in the kitchen and made sure they could take care of her. Both were OK, but didn't seem as unique as you might expect for a restaurant that boasts local and farm fresh - again, good, but nothing remarkable. Decent selection of beers and a full bar. Their outside seating is on the north side of the restaurant, and many tables have a lake view. Love that this area is dog friendly! Downside is its so close to busy Hwy 42. Unfortunately my anxious pup couldn't handle the noise. Love that we could order our food to-go. We enjoyed smoked beef brisket dinner with soup, and the Door County Chicken Salad.
