Think made-to-order elevated food court Chinese-ISH-style dishes. SERVICE: when we first walked in, the guy bussing tables onto his cart made eye contact, then COMPLETELY IGNORED US despite it being obvious that we were there for dinner. off-putting, i ALMOST WALKED OUT :/ Once we chased someone down and got seated, our waiter was super FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. Food came out quickly and piping hot. FOOD: PORTIONS-what stands out is the HUGE PORTIONS, one plate could probably feed to and perhaps three moderate eaters. QUALITY-unusually and OVERWHELMINGLY OILY. Way more than I would've expected, and detracted from the eating experience. **Cheese WonTon-wrappers were FRIED CRISP AND TENDER, but the decent dollop of cream cheese filling was overwhelming. **KUNG POW CHICKEN was the BEST DISH we had, barely spicy but it hid the oiliness better somehow. **NOODLE (?chow fun) SHRIMP was difficult to eat, and the EXCESSIVE GREASE COATED MY TONGUE so bad the i couldn't taste the shrimp or veggies. **BLACK BEAN BEEF was fair. OILY BUT FLAVORFUL. veggies were nicely cooked still crunchy, but the HARSH ONIONS were overpowering. sweet or milder onions would let me taste the other ingredients more. the beef itself was tender and tasty. I personally won't be returning, but I see the value due to large portions and moderate prices. i'd gladly sacrifice quantity for higher quality.

Other places have passed them by in some respects First there is no sauce bar here. Just four small containers of sauces you can use. Ironically none of those sauces are soy sauce. A darker possible peanut sauce, a sesame sauce, a pinkish possibly fermented tofu sauce and the standard chili oil. I wanted more as far as the sauce goes and I thought a sauce bar was pretty standard these days Second there is no AYCE bar with small snacks. Kind of interesting When ordering the meat, I guess they wanted to save a plate so the sliced meats just came in plastic containers. That loses some points with me on presentation Other than that everything is fine. They charge a little less for the broth than a lot of places do, so that's nice Got vegetables, mushrooms, tofu, noodles and a couple of meats. Overall it's a fine experience, mostly Ok to Good. But the lack of some things makes it more second tier for me and it would not be a go to hot pot place for me

I found this place to be a bit pricey, particularly because almost all the veggies/noodles/non-meats were priced at $4.95. In my opinion, the end pricing should better reflect the ingredient pricing. Service was very bad. We were seated, ordered, and brought the food. We never were spoken to again and had to call over two different staff members to get the bill, then pay for it. They do have large tables for groups. Overall, this is the best hot pot restaurant I have tried so far, but I didn't love it.

With the cost of groceries, gas, and dining out continuing to climb, people are looking for a place where they can get a good meal without spending a fortune. This place fits the bill. If you come before 4:00 p.m. on a weekday, lunch is around $15. That's about what you'd spend on a burger, fries, and a drink at some fast-food chains these days, except here you get an entire buffet with plenty of choices. The salad bar is well stocked and includes fresh fruit. They also have sushi rolls and nigiri. Is it sushi restaurant quality? No. But considering that one specialty roll at a sushi restaurant can cost $12-$16 by itself, it's a nice bonus. My favorite item is fried chicken. It's crispy, flavorful, and consistently juicy. I would gladly pay the lunch price just for the chicken. They also serve a very good pot roast, meaty pork ribs, and on Fridays they have a surprisingly good rib roast. Those are just a few of the highlights because there are plenty of other dishes to choose from. As for the staff, most of the employees appear to be young and may be working their first job. The cooks aren't trying to be gourmet chefs, they focus on preparing the buffet items well, and overall, they do a good job keeping the food coming despite how busy the restaurant gets. If you're looking for a fine dining experience prepared by professionally trained chefs, this probably isn't the place for you. But if your goal is to enjoy a wide variety of good food at a price that's hard to beat in today's economy, this buffet is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared for a crowd, that's usually a sign they're doing something right.

We did have to wait in line before getting seated. The wait wasn't too long for our party of 7 as it took maybe 15 min or so. The food was okay. It's what you would expect from an AYCE buffet like this. It's maybe on par with the likes of Golden Corral or Hometown Buffet (from back in the day). The highlight things to eat may be the made-to-order Mongolian BBQ where you load up your bowl with veggies, protein (chicken, pork, shrimp, beef, etc), noodles, and seasonings. Hand it over to the staff cook and they hand you a pager to notify you when done. The other food highlight may be the Japanese sushi area. While not the highest quality of ingredients, it was still decent for the price of the buffet and the fact that there's a staff member making the sushi rolls consistently rather than just leaving a bunch out in a tray to get old and dry. Definitely might be an even better deal as a lunch AYCE option. But for dinner it's still nice to go to.

There's a solid variety of options, and you can definitely find something to satisfy whatever you're in the mood for. A few of the fruit and sushi items seemed like they may have been sitting out for a bit, which can happen at buffets, but there were still plenty of other choices to enjoy. The Mongolian grill wasn't running during my visit (I believe it's available during dinner hours), so that's something I'd be curious to try next time. The standout for me was actually the soups -- both the hot & sour soup and the miso soup were flavorful and comforting, and I ended up going back for more. Service was fine: nothing over-the-top, but attentive enough to keep things moving smoothly. All in all, it's a decent, no-frills buffet spot. I'd call it a solid 3-star experience, especially if you're nearby and craving variety in one place.

We always make the drive out here almost an hour every time as we're not from the area. Last week, there was long hair in our chowmein. We didn't see this until we ate it at home and it was buried underneath everything. Disgusting. Today, we ordered their vegan popcorn chicken and it was EXTREMELY SALTY. As in very, very salty. Like the chef went crazy and doused the entire batch with MSG. It was SO SALTY that it was inedible. Only ate a few pieces. We tried to like it but couldn't eat it. It raised my blood pressure immediately and had to stop eating. We returned it for them to remake it not salty. They were nice enough to do so. Had to wait an additional time for them to remake it. However, the second batch wasn't as bad as the first one, but was still on the salty side. The first two times we've been here it wasn't salty at all. I'm not sure who was cooking today, but they went crazy with the salt. The second batch was still bad, we didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for a redo so we left. Needless to say it ruined the appetite and barely ate anything. Also, the vegan popcorn chicken wasn't consistent the last two times we ate here. Last time the texture was different and it looked different. It was either cooked differently or was a different brand that they used. This time, it was EXTREMELY SALTY. Cooked twice and was still salty. We've been coming here to support the small business, but not sure if we'll be coming back anymore because of this. It's been inconsistent every single time. Not to mention the hair we found in our food that we forgot to mention to them today 8/1/26.
