    Where theft occurred.

WARNING to anyone going to Kami's restaurant: be EXTREMELY careful where you park, especially at night. Multiple cars have had windows smashed, belongings stolen, and vehicles damaged in the area. DO NOT leave anything visible in your car and try to park only in the very front where there's more light and visibility. What's even more upsetting is that the owner seemed fully aware this has been happening for a while but didn't seem concerned or take it seriously. Customers deserve to feel safe when visiting a restaurant, and it's frustrating to see these incidents brushed off instead of properly addressed. Please stay alert and protect your belongings.

Wow they're really improved in the years since I last visited. The change in owners and competition from Paradise Buffet has done them good! For example, the sushi is excellent! The rice used to be dry and hard, now it's soft and fluffy. Also the hot dishes have really improved in flavor! The pepper beef is tender and delicious. The Cajun shrimp has wonderful flavor and the spicy fish is great! The service is good too, they're taking away plates constantly and there's usually always someone around if you need a drink refill. The only thing that isn't great is their baked desserts. Very artificial tasting and unappealing. But I saw lots of people enjoying the ice cream and the fresh fruits are good! I really liked the cherries.

Finally Got to Try It! My friend basically used me as her Uber to get to her BFF's birthday dinner ~ but I'd heard her talk about this place so many times, I was actually excited to try it. It's a buffet restaurant with four stations. I sampled food from two of them and enjoyed what I got. That said, I overheard a few guests mentioning that the food isn't quite the same since management has changed a few times. Service was solid ~ the staff were quick with drink refills, kept the table clean, and stayed on top of replenishing the food trays. It was a Wednesday evening, so it wasn't too busy. Plenty of parking, and the bathroom was decent. * They give a time limit of 2hrs.

06/28/2025 Brought my family here for dinner. Celebrating 3 June birthdays party of 6. The price is $28.99 for the weekend $2.99 for soft drinks. We came mainly for the crab legs my first 2 plates was mild tasting and the 2nd batch was extremely salty. I enjoyed the roast beef you have to slice a piece by yourself. 12 Different kinds of sushi both with raw fish and none. Along with other dishes fried shrimp, bbq pork ribs, orange chicken, baked green lip mussels, fried chicken, beef cubes, fried rice and chowmein. Lots more to name. The staff cleared away plates quickly.

haven't been here in a while and i will say the price went up by a lot (almost $30 pp) while the quality went down... sushi selection went down from a lot of sashimi and nigiri to items like seaweed nigiri??? very disappointing i will say the mongolian bbq section has a lot more options than other buffets. my only complaint is that you're not able to choose your own sauces. my plate ended up way too salty other foods were ok, a lot more seafood options than other buffets. dessert was very stale and it looked like a lot of the food was sitting out for a while none of the food looked overly concerning in terms of freshness but i don't think it's the freshest buffet. would come back to try again and give it another chance but quality has definitely gone down since my last visit

I don't know what's up with the other reviews but for $30 dinner you get unlimited seafood , sushi , Chinese food , dessert . What is not to love . This place is hustle bustle and super packed on a Sunday evening. The bussers are working hard and the attendants are too . I visited this place before covid years and lifetime ago it seems but I don't see any quality difference and it's honestly the same as I remember maybe better . After eating a few plates I just stare at the chandeliers and pretty ornate curtain drapes on the windows and wonder how I got here and where I'm going next I love this place it's the GEM of SGV If I can give more stars I would

Stopped by on Saturday, 08/31/24 during lunch time. Our first time here - my dad wanted to eat at a buffet, so I googled searched buffets and wanted us to try this place out! PRICE: $25.99 person x3 = $77.97 TAX = $7.41 TOTAL = $85.38 TIP = $15 OVERALL TOTAL = $95.38 SEAFOOD: Lots and lots of seafood. Sushi bar was fantastically huge and there were so many options to choose from. There's also snow crab (cold), crab (warm), fried peeled and unpeeled shrimp, clams, mussels, snail (?), scallops, you name it! ICE CREAM: Lots of options - I personally liked the coffee flavor. Ice cream area is a bit sticky and dirty. You pay up front first. Please, and PLEASE leave a generous tip. We saw people NOT giving tips and/or leaving out very small tips (e.g., table of 8 people gave $3 tip). You also get some hard candy towards the end. It was very busy but not overly crowded. Worth the price since there were a bunch of seafood options. Ample parking space. Buffet is near a motel - felt a bit unsafe and uncomfortable during that time due to shadiness. Just be careful!

I used to love this place! Gone downhill quite a bit. My friend was thinking of the crabs here. We came before the dreaded pandemic. This time, the crabs were rubbery shell and hard to break open. I went for the salmon sashimi and I thought.... Oh they just cut it and brought it out fresh. My bad... they were still frozen. The hot food was surprisingly good. Service was just the typical buffet service. Take your plate away and refill your drinks.

I haven't gone here in years. We decided to come here for dinner, only to find out it's been permanently closed due to vermin infestation. This was a good place to go eat at.

We were placed in a semi-private area. The restaurant had ample indoor seating and was fairly spacious to move around. If you've been to other Asian buffets, you'll know what to expect at reasonable prices. The Hits: - Fire-grilled BBQ station (steak, galbi (short ribs), pork belly, and squid) - Variety of sushi and rolls (average quality for the nigiri) - Dim sum options (popular items that get refilled regularly) - Desserts and fruits - 16 flavors of ice cream - Coffee and boba station The Misses (that I tried) - the orange chicken (flavor was off and bland) - fried chicken wings (looked good and crispy, but they were bland and had no seasoning) Service and staff were great. From taking drinks orders to clearing used plates, they were fairly attentive to everyone in the party. The food was refilled at decent times as well. There were plenty of seniors dining here since there's a special price for seniors. Reservations are recommended for large parties or peak dining times (dinner and weekends). This was our first time here, and it was a pleasant experience overall. It's a decent Asian buffet if you're in the area. A solid 3.5/5 rating.

This location was recently named one of three LA area buffets in the top 150 in the country, based on Google reviews. I've been to a lot of buffets (Chinese and otherwise), and this was near the top, especially based on the price. We came about 30 minutes after its 11 am opening, and the place was already packed with a line waiting to get in. You pay first, getting water and soda cups at checkout (plates are plentiful near the buffet itself). Emmelyn was the check-in associate, and she was joyful and friendly, putting a smile on my wife's face after a stressful drive through LA traffic. We found out that my wife's lunch was free because it was her birthday. Lunch pricing is $15.19 (M-F), minus $1 for seniors and military. Refillable soda is $2.99. It's find your own seating, and we grabbed the first seats we could find. -- being super crowded meant the food was constantly being replenished and kept fresh. It also meant a lot of line (inadvertent) line cutting and careful, slow movements...need to be careful for sure. -- the taste of the food was good, mainly because most things were turning over quickly. However, the selection of dishes wasn't huge, and the soups didn't look too good. -- I focused on the sushi and was satisfied. They had different type simple rolls and nigiri, with soy sauce at each table. They also had a bottle of eel sauce to douse your rolls with more, if you want. Towards the end, discovered a New Zealand green mussel dish in a hot chili sauce, which I took full advantage of. -- the must get is the Mongolian Grill, which dominates the center of the restaurant. There were three types of sliced frozen meat (beef, chicken, pork), a variety of vegetables (including my favorite, baby corn), and various runny sauces that you pour on top when done. Once your bowl is complete, you need to give it to the operator. But here its a bit different: it operates on a unique system that I've only seen here. In the front counter, there are 20 spots where numbered pager sits. Once a person fills up a bowl with raw ingredients, they place it on the next available pager spot, taking the pager with them. Once the food is cooked, the pager goes off. You then exchange the bowl in your spot, with the pager...and the cycle continues. I asked myself what would happen if all 20 pagers were taken, and decided if that happened, you would have to wait since there would be no more space on the grill for your plate anyway. The system worked really well, with all three of us taking advantage of it. Taste wise, I've had better but certainly not for that price. And I just love the efficiency of it all. -- soft serve ice cream was available, and it was very thick and creamy (though a bit off in taste). My wife also mentioned that you can get cotton candy as well. -- Service was good, with an employee in a hostess outfit personally letting us know that she was there to assist us, including getting drinks. She did clear dishes when necessary, but also seemed to be supervising our section. What's interesting is that the same report mentioned King Buffet in Garden Grove, which now seems to be another branch of the Paradise chain. So need to be leery of such reports not being current...but in this case, following its suggestion paid off.

I tried the spicy beef broth, it has miso flavor and slightly tangy undertone. It has heat, but not spicy at all. The spicy pine sauce and wasabi ponzu (the best!) fulfills my search for heat in this place. All the sauces (except sesame sauce) has acidity/tangyness in it. The meat are good quality and very thin so it's ready in just a few dips. The brisket is fatty, and it's my favorite but only at this place thanks to the acidic profile that cuts through the rich fats. The short plate is very thin and tender, the flat iron steak is more lean. The chuck eye is kinda the middle ground. Unfortunately lamb only served as dinner menu. The vegetable and mushrooms bar have adequate variety, but they only have two kinds of tofu which is soft tofu and fried tofu pockets. No beancurds/tofu skin. They have more selection in seafood though. There's ice cream, soda fountain, green tea and black tea, and even buffet food like fried rice and wonton etc. Overall it's a well-priced hotpot for good quality ingredients, with japanese style broths. And the best thing is they accepts solo diners.

I had All That Shabu a really long time ago in Irvine and remember loving it, but there's just so…read moremuch competition in OC so I haven't been back in years! I tried it again with my friend the other day because we were in the area. I thought it was just okay and probably wouldn't come back here specifically because there's just a lot of better places, but this isn't bad at all for the price. The inside was huge and dimly lit, and they had a large self serve bar for hot sides, drinks, hot pot toppings like veggies and seafood, sauces, and dessert. It was a great vibe! There's a pretty large variety of broths to pick from which is nice. We both got the spicy beef, which tasted rich and tomatoey so it was different than a typical beef bone broth that I expected! It was nice because the acidity helped to balance with the richness of the meats. Of all the meats, our favorites were the brisket and the beef short plate. Personally I like to know which meats are which but sometimes when I asked, the servers couldn't really tell them apart so it kinda sucked because I wanted to know which ones I actually liked to order more of those. They were quick with taking our orders though and meats came out really quick. For hot sides, they had a large variety of things, such as fried rice, crab, crispy fried chicken, kimchi, and more. I liked that there was variety! I just think that overall, the experience didn't wow me as much as it did back then, but definitely cheaper than most places and so you get what you pay for!
