This place is a freaking joke. F this place! I would normally never say that about an establishment. Read all the reviews about customer service and that idiot couple who are the owners, THE REVIEWS ARE ALL TRUE! Yes, I understand the language barrier but no need to be rude and literally yell at me like I'm a kid. They have heavy thick accents so it's hard to understand. They seem to be Korean. I don't know how it is in your culture or your household but what you're not about to do is yell at me like I'm a kid or your child. Tf! That sent me! I walked away out of place in line while my food was cooking tom place my napkins and forks on a table literally right in front of the wok. The stupid husband yelled at me from across while he was getting someone else's order and I was dumbfounded like wtf did I do. They told me I needed to stay my place in line. I was taken aback and livid so yes I did get nasty and disrespectful right back! The social media lies are disgraceful and disgusting from these so called wannabe celebrities Mimi and Reina stating you get to grab your own items and pile it and high as you can and even going as far as pounding down the items with their fists. All a bunch of lies. Fake and false advertising because they don't even let you get your own food and they're so stingy with your portions. These dumb social media influencers lie to get a free plate. Anything for a free meal right? Way to lie to your many followers Mimi and Reina. Not sure why they even have signs up for how to handle food and not overdoing it when you can't even grab your own food. Sorry ahh portions. It pissed me off so bad but why the stupid food taste actually good though

Pay first. No refunds. The rudest couple that I've encountered in the service industry. Pinching on protein after you've paid nearly $20 for a plate and making sure I won't spend at their establishment again. After your denied protein, she lectures you on appropriate plate portions and on their business savvy. they've been in business 25 years. Sad to see people acting this way cause I usually like supporting mom and pop places but they really don't deserve my business again.

Food was alright. We ordered lots of veggies. Since we were splitting a plate, the server suggested extra noodle for $3. We paid for it, and I kid you not. We were given a total of 8 individual noodles. We were expecting another bowl full of noodles. I honestly feel we were a bit ripped off by cheap service. Don't bother with this place unless you're starving.

The good: - I love the taste and texture of the noodles and overall dish. I love how it's not too greasy. The bad: - They cook everything at the same time, even though some items take longer to cook than others. For example, the broccoli and carrots in my plate were still too crunchy for my liking while everything else was cooked well. - I ordered a veggie plate but found a small piece of meat in my dish. To be fair, they did ask if I wanted my portion cooked separate from the other orders which had meat, but I declined. So I'm assuming the meat got mixed in there in the cooking process. - They got rid of some toppings I used to love, including tofu and baby corn :( - You no longer can fill your own bowl. You tell the staff what toppings you want and they put it in for you. - Customer service isn't that friendly.

This used to be my favorite place. The couple was very nice especially the husband the only time they were "rude" (not really) was when people wouldnt listen. That was on the people not the couple. Some people are just stupid or feel entitled. People that expected whole ass ceramic plates instead of the to go boxes like hello its more of a to go / fast food place not a restaurant. They always gave tons of extra meat when not getting veggies and flavor was very good. I would drive 2 hours here and back home just for this place after i left santa ana. Now i forsure wont be coming back. New management isn't the best, portions are small for higher prices. This place has seriously gone downhill. They used to offer first 2 refills free and now they dont. Very disappointed with this place and now i see why it was empty when usually it would be packed.

This has been one of my all time favorite spots for the last 12 years plus and it makes me so sad to write this but after covid, the quality has been decreasing after each visit. The owners have never been on the friendly side but that's okay because I was here for the food. During my last visit, they were just rude. You no longer have the ability to build your own bowls. This wouldn't normally be a problem but they were being extra stingy. Ripping up each piece of frozen meat and adding only about 3 total ripped pieces into a $12.99 pre tax bowl. Flavors weren't all there yet it was super salty. Tasted like a lot of msg and on top of that it wrecked all of our stomachs. Safe to say, I won't be back at all.

No thanks. This place is terrible, we walked up as someone was asking for an extra fork, and the lady was hesitant to give it to her, the customer was explaining that she was a customer and had already purchased. That should've been my first red flag. I was wondering why there was no line at this Mongolian place as all malls are usually really busy at this specific restaurant. Welllllll the portions suck. The veggie options suck, and so does their service. We paid for extra noodles so our total came up to $25. Didn't seem like extra noodles, asked if we can pay for an extra portion of meat, nope. There was like 6 pieces of meat in our plate, so disappointed. Their veggie options are terrible too, no baby corn no jalapeños?? What kind of monstrosity is this??? The food was also extremely salty Save your money. The soda is good!

I always look forward to Mongolian bbq, so that just made my experience to this food court restaurant that much more disappointing. It was not a good experience and just poorly managed. Starting with the food, I didn't look at it beforehand, so when it came to choosing the veggies I wanted, I was shocked to see a lot of old, black/gray color, some even molding veggies (I caught a photo), but obviously in person it looked really bad. That's the veggies we would have thrown away days ago if we saw that in our own refrigerator, but I guess they don't mind to have unappetizing food sit out. The pricing for the veggie bowl was the same as the meat bowl, which puzzled me. Then came to the choosing of the ingredients, they don't allow you to serve yourself. I don't think I've ever been to a Mongolian bbq that didn't let you choose. So when the lady grabbed it, she went in order and piled on the onions and green onions, it just didn't make just sense. I got some 8-9 green onions and only got maybe 6 zucchini and barely any broccoli. Did not make any sense whatsoever. And then I told her I didn't want the black color, dying bean cabbage (gross), and instead to get the broccoli and I didn't get more. Most other places also have tofu, so if you're looking for a real vegan/vegetarian restaurant, you're out of luck. The seating in the food court is relatively comfortable, just make sure you don't sit too close to the shops themselves as it get smoky. To top of the poor experience with the unfresh food and bad policy, I asked for a simple cup of water, and the lady seemed to have changed (shift change), the new lady had to ask if I had purchased there, and I said yes, can I have a water. She must not have believed me because she had to walk over to her colleague to ask if she recognized me. All that for a stinking cup of water, I finally was proven that I was telling the truth, and got my water, but that sure is an awful thing to subject customers to. The two star average rating on Yelp is absolutely accurate.

My fiancée and I came here for lunch after spending some time at the mall. We haven't had Mongolian BBQ in awhile, and it is a mall food court restaurant, so we didn't come in with high expectations, and still managed to be disappointed. The workers seemed like they didn't want to be there and their attitude toward us reflected that. They were impatient, demanding, and when I asked them to repeat something, began yelling at us. The food display and cooking area was absolutely disgusting, this place should be investigated for unsafe food prep and cooking areas. When asking for specific vegetables, it was like pulling teeth. The service was extremely off-putting and warrant giving this place 1 star, but the food somehow made this experience worse. I know that this change was made after Covid, but you can't self-serve your meat and vegetables. Portions were tiny, in total I counted five pieces of meat when they put it into our bowl. Vegetables did not look fresh and definitely did not taste fresh. They doused our food in sauce and oil, and somehow the food was bland and overcooked. I'm glad we only bought one entree to share because I would not spend one more cent here or ever come back. This place was a complete waste of time and money and banks on the nostalgia of Mongolian BBQ places in mall food courts for their business, but resembles nothing like those memories.

Massive parking lot so that was easy, one friend went ahead and let them know we had 10 incoming. They made room and we sat immediately. One of the spots that you scan a menu at the table and you review, order and pay all in the app. I was really not familiar with the line up and went with the "House Special Beef Pot Roodle" (Roodles are their rice noodles). It was a weekend only item and I tried that. The noodles came separate from the soup. Over all it was very tasty. The meat was a bit fatty and the soup had tendons too. I took that part home and my wife loved it. I tend to avoid the fatty meat and tendons are not good to me. 10 of us so some of the appetizers got passed around. The smashed cucumbers are excellent, and my buddy also got some friend potatoes of sorts, reminded me of a fat French fry. Because my buddy and I sat at the same table we scanned the same menu, he ordered a bunch of stuff and also House Special Beef Pot Roodle. That confused the kitchen and they asked me if I meant to order 2, I said no and didn't realize I cancelled my buddy's order. Part of the confusion of a large party and many scanned menu orders. My buddy was struggling to order and our initial waiter seemed to not understand my friend and that took a little bit to work out, young lady came from the back and was able to quickly resolve some of the confusion and get questions answered as needed. In the end he had lot of food to explore. One thing that caught my eye was several couples there and sharing a large soup item served with a tray of various food items for the soup. Kind of a date night visual and something that looked very interesting. Several couples around us had that same dish and its got me more curious. Might have to come back with my wife and try this one.

I ordered their most popular dish, the A1 set, but honestly, it didn't really live up to the hype for me. The broth tasted pretty underseasoned overall. From what I understood, you're supposed to mix all the toppings into the soup with the noodles, but even after doing that, I still felt like the flavor was lacking. Yes, they provide seasoning on the side, but personally, I wish the broth already had enough flavor on its own without needing to adjust it myself. Would I come back? Probably not. Nothing really stood out to me enough to return, and it felt more like a one-time experience. Overall, everything was just okay.

We ordered their popular Traditional Hand-pulled beef noodle soup and the Big Plate Chicken with Noodles dish they were known for. I wasn't a fan of the traditional hand pulled noodle soup but the big plate chicken with noodle dish was pretty good. Everyone's favorite noodle dish was the Stir-Fried Shanxi Knif-Cut Noodles though. It was super flavorful and delicious. For protein, my favorite was their orange chicken. We all found the Kung Pao chicken to be wayyyy to salty. It was edible with the stir fried cabbage though. The lady working there was really nice and made sure to bring us everything we needed. She also refilled our waters. The pricing of food is super affordable and portions were pretty large. We had some food left over and was able to to bring some home. The inside like I mentioned is very casual. They even had a to go section where you can pick up pre-made foods. There's payment through the kiosk or you can pay with the cashier. It was good experience for a casual lunch.
