The food is okay here, but the service is not. The waitress is right over your shoulder the whole time. Granted she gives refills right when you need one & takes dishes when you are done. Hands down the rudest staff ever. As you eat, they stand and stare at you. If you make eye contact they come over and ask if you are done even though it is the same person who just seated you. When I asked the waiter to stop, the response was a rude smirk and then laughter. When I spoke to the manager, the response was "yeah yeah, doing job" well I have to say "nah nah" staring at me and trying to turn tables in 5 mins is not doing your job. IT IS RUDE! Then, to my chagrin, "yeah tip? Yeah tip?" I used to wait tables way back when so not leaving a tip is an extreme measure. Here's a tip: Study hospitality!!!!! Do not even give this place a try! The food quality is very poor. Most of the food on the buffets are fruit or gross fried foods I wouldn't let my dog eat. When we went went last about 75% of the food was cold. I spoke to the waitress about it and she said it only is on top, get food from the bottom and it will be warm. I told the manager the same thing when checking out. He gave me the same story. I told him I tried getting food on the bottom from two different food bins and it was still cold. His response was with the AC going we can't keep it warm. Really? There are so many issues with this place and management does not care. Beyond the gross, cold food, this place is expensive. For my wife and I and two children it was $65 before tip. They charge the adult price ($14.95) for an 11 year old. I would venture to guess this place will be out of business soon. read more

One of the better buffets in the Metroplex. Food was fresh and well seasoned. The staff was friendly and quick to remove old plates and refill drinks. Ambiance was nice, even for a weekend lunch rush. Pricing was decent. Okay now that my official review is done: Yo... those sweet and sour chickens were *THE* best I've ever had. Straight up, I'd probably walk the Great Wall of China for a plate of them. They didn't even need no sauce, they were hella juicy. And don't even get me started on their grapes. Now most Chinese buffets *Not Authentic Chinese food obviously* I have gone to through the years have not been great or even terrible for that matter but simply serviceable (I mean i'm just stuffing the void that is my stomach so no need to be elegant). I never thought I would ever give such high praise for a Chinese buffet till I came here and this is based upon service, price and quality in which this place hits high marks in my opinion over the multiple times I have gone here. The building/interior itself is pretty massive compared to the ones I've gone to, and while I have gone to some that are equally as big (if not bigger) this place is very well kept so the aesthetics alone are pleasing and in turn at least in my mind, leads me to believe the food is also handled with great care. For the price I am paying and the variety and quality of the food it's hard not to like this place. Now they do have all the usual items you will find at most Chinese buffets: fried rice, lo mein, green beans, chicken wings, hot and sour soup just to name a VERY few (Don't panic there's alot) but the quality and taste is superb, and like I have said previously, I don't think too much of Chinese buffets simply because i'm just gorging out and not thinking of quality, but for whatever reason this place makes me take a moment and actually savor the flavor of the food. If I wasn't so concerned about my blood pressure and gaining so much weight I would eat here all the time but the few times I do go during the year, I make sure to do as much cardio before and after eating here because this is such a guilty pleasure that I hope people will come and try for themselves. However, for a buffet, and a Chinese buffet at that, very clean and they do extremely well exchanging dishes and keeping food pretty fresh. Pros: clean, good variety Cons: Not necessarily cons but I don't eat a lot of the food. I don't eat buffet fish or seafood, beef, salad or fruit here. A lot of food choices. There was something for everyone even my fish allergy child. Dining staff was constantly cleaning including our dishes on our table. The choices of sushi was adequate, but it could be presented better especially the ones with raw fish on it. The sushi trays were overstuffed. Not nice at all. The hostess advised us that our party of 6 would fit better on a large table instead of the booths and she was absolutely right. The food variety was exemplary. It's impossible to sample everything but between us all we were able to get through most of it. We were all impressed with the freshness, taste and service. It was a busy Fathers Day luncheon but the staff were prepared for the crowds and provided exceptional service. I work in the hospitality industry so I know what effort it takes to cater for large crowds and maintain quality of the food and service. Anybody who says this place is just "ok" or "not bad" is doing them a dis-service. My first time in here and I was pleased. I LOVE Chinese/asian food, therefore I have tried ALOT of it. 99% of the visit was great. The place was clean, and the staff was very good at getting the tables when people left. The food was good with the exception of a couple of items. The pork meatballs had that processed taste, and my 2nd round of teriyaki chicken was a little bit though, as though it was over cooked. Other than that, the visit was great. This place has great potential!! It was a great start we were greeted with gloves and hand sanitizer!! But the first bite we took of sour chicken it was dry like hard to eat!! their sesame chicken was gummy. There crawfish were black (rotten) and when food is dropped on the counter is thrown back into the pot!! They also refill your drink with a cup that has what you are drinking. I took my family to this Great Wall of Shame buffet only to find the food to be subpar. The noddles were cold and sushi was the worst I've ever had. The restaurant is nice and they have your typical food selection. I tried the salt and pepper calamari and it was good not chewy but it was 45 minutes prior to closing so the food isn't as fresh. We have been coming here for at least 9 years, there is now a new management team , and it shows. The food is absolutely awful, you can very easily taste that it was prepared HOURS ago and they won't cycle it out. They removed even napkins from the tables, all the clear cut signs of a new manager trying to save money. Meals went up in cost, as did drinks. The sushi used to be amazing g but now it's fry crab in stale rice, probably because it's been sitting there ALL day. The waitresses are still very kind.
