2025 update Parking: still ample free parking. I've been here 3+ times now and the lot is never busy. Service: the menu looks a bit confusing but the staff all know their stuff well. The best part is they don't force the awkward tip screen to you (tipping fatigue) but would recommend as if you dine in, they bring the food to you. Food: got the chimichurri bowl with chicken ($13.41). They allow you to swap a few selected items if you can't do "pepper" (for example). Bowl was pretty good, a little smaller than expected. I went to Green Tomato Grill for the first time and really enjoyed it. I got the teriyaki bowl and a pineapple berry lemonade--both were fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. You can't go wrong with the Green Tomato Grill! I have never gotten anything that is anything less than "oh so yummy!" My older daughter is gluten-free and so when she comes to town to visit it's so great to have a place with delicious food where she can dine with us. I've also dined here with my elderly mother, teammates and friends, and it's always been a very positive experience. The owner is passionate and caring about customers and I randomly met him last year when he asked my mom and I how we felt about our customer experience. I got the Philly Chicken Melt for myself this time and it came with grilled chicken, bell pepper, pepperoncini, grilled onion, and mushroom in a flatbread with chipotle ranch on the side. This was delicious and hit the spot. It wasn't too filling but enough to keep me satiated with a good amount of chicken and veggies. I loved the addition of pepperoncini to give it a slight kick. It wasn't heavy on the cheese either which I was expecting but I didn't mind it. I appreciate the fact that the sauces are housemade but I didn't taste the chipotle part at all. It seemed like plain old ranch. That said, their melt didn't disappoint and I would be up to trying the other options next time I visit. The server was also nice and the food came out right away since there weren't that many people there. I sat outdoors this time and it's a gorgeous seating area since it's set up like a picnic with long wooden tables. It also has privacy since it's surrounded by bushes. We have been here so many time and the food is great. However, it's not the customers job to run your Point of Sale system for you. Half of a businesses customer loyalty is based on service. Making the customer spend five minutes navigating the businesses POS screen isn't awesome. Otherwise we have always had a positive experience here. read more
