I'm not gonna lie, she does a great haircut, but Amy is not a people person or a dog person and that's not someone you want to be your groomer! The first time I brought my dog in for her first haircut, Amy was very rude to me and didn't even say hello to my dog-she just took the leash and walked away with her. I thought it was very strange but didn't know since this was my first time bringing a dog to the groomers. I like to give the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe Amy was having a bad day and that's understandable. Then this most recent second time, I had my husband bring our dog and he had the same experience that Amy was very rude and didn't even greet our dog, give her a pet, or anything. When he was trying to give her instruction on the haircut we wanted, she responded with no expression "put her up there on the table". That was it and he left. After pick up, they recommend (for the second time) that I sedate my 10 month old puppy in order to give her a haircut. I recommend, instead, that Amy put a smile on it and at least pretend to like dogs so that my dog can feel more comfortable. She does not need to be sedated- She's a 20 pound sweet puppy at the groomers for the second time and doesn't know this lady that is not trying to build any sort of relationship of comfort with her. I shared my thoughts with the owner Susie who said they are well aware that Amy is not a friendly person, but that she gives a good haircut and is going to be there for the next 14 years. I said good luck with that and that we will be moving on from them as our groomer. If it's important to you to have your dog comfortable at the groomer, have a nice person grooming your dog who actually likes dogs, etc., do not use this place.

She cared for Taj so genuinely like he was hers. She would always say how handsome he was and love on him. He was never scared there. Unfortunately he had kidney issues and I had to make the toughest decision ever. To let him go. He was suffering. I held him in my arms as he took his last breath. The staff was so consoloble. When I arrived with my dog, Buddy, and asked for a tour, the receptionist initially told me I couldn't bring him inside because they didn't have his vaccination records. She paused, said "Oh," and then changed the reason--now stating I couldn't bring him in because it might "wind up the other dogs." At that point, I didn't argue and put him back in the car with the A/C running, but it was disappointing. A tour should absolutely include seeing how your dog reacts to the environment. Inside, the facility felt dark and quiet, with most of the lights off. Aside from the receptionist, I only saw a cleaning staff member. The tour itself was underwhelming at best. There was no effort to engage--no questions about my dog, no interest in my needs, no explanation of their services or daily routines. It felt more like an obligation than a business that wanted my trust. She showed me the "Ultra Suite," which includes a queen bed, webcam, and TV. Unfortunately, the room looked unkempt--the bed was unmade, the blanket was messy, and it appeared it hadn't been cleaned since the last dog. For $155/night, that's unacceptable. She did apologize, but it didn't inspire confidence. Next was the "Deluxe Suite," which was significantly smaller with a basic dog mattress on the floor. It felt more like a kennel than a "suite." There was only one dog there during my visit, yet the odor in the facility was overwhelming. I couldn't wait to leave. After showing me a few rooms, the tour simply ended--no discussion of availability, no overview of care, no attempt to answer questions or build trust. It was awkward and, frankly, disappointing. I'm very glad I chose to visit in person instead of booking based on the website alone. There is no scenario where I would feel comfortable leaving my dog here.

When I contacted the office to understand the reasoning behind the requirement, I was told that the exam was necessary to maintain the veterinarian-client-patient relationship. However, I did not receive a clear explanation of how a routine wellness exam for a healthy, three-year-old cat would impact the decision to approve a medication he has been safely taking for the past three years. Veterinary regulations may require periodic examinations before prescriptions can be authorized, and if that is the case, I would have appreciated a straightforward explanation of that requirement. Instead, the responses I received felt generic and did not address the underlying question of why the exam was necessary in this specific situation. For many families, discretionary spending is carefully evaluated. Requiring an $83 wellness exam solely to authorize a refill of an established flea and tick preventative adds a meaningful expense without a clearly communicated benefit. Immediately, I called back to find out where he was and I was advised that he was isolated in a room, in an unfamiliar place, I immediately got in my car and headed to picked him up. When I arrived and demanded they bring my dog to me, he was visibly scared and confused, and the front desk staff seemed unaware of what was going on or the reason for my frustration!! This lack of communication and care is unacceptable. If vaccinations were an issue, my dog should never have been approved or accepted that morning. I would not trust this facility with my pet again.

He truly helped her realize the world isn't so scary after all. She came home knowing how to walk on a loose leash, solidified the command "down" and "place" and many other commands. He took her to coffee shops, pet smart, Lowe's to help practice these commands and work on her confidence. He was very thorough on teaching us everything at the end of the three weeks so we could keep up the hard work at home. They communicated with us every day for 3 weeks with videos and pictures and a thorough report card on how she was doing so we didn't have to worry or wonder. The program also included a free month training program online. We are so so thankful for cosmic canine and would recommend them a million times over again!!

Upon picking them up, the attendant mentioned that one of my dogs had been barking the entire time, which now makes sense as she was likely in pain from the big gash they cut into her side. Since the attendant put my dog's harness back on, it hid the large cut and I was surprised to discover the extent of the injuries only after I got home. Had I known beforehand, I would not have paid, let alone left a tip. Due to this experience, I will definitely not be returning!
