I have had this drink multiple times over the years (over delivery too, so I totally expected quality to be better when ordering in person), and I did notice the quality dropping with each order, but I would chalk it up to delivery taking a while. After today's visit, however, I've come to the conclusion that the quality has just dropped significantly, and it's not worth coming here to try their matcha. If you're just looking for a nice space to chill or get some work done, however, this might be the place for you - it seems like a cool place with a bit of seating, plus a photobooth in the back. The outdoor seating area was spacious and parking was easy. It was a good place to hang out with a friend. They also have bakery items. However, I will note that the outdoor space is quite uncomfortable :( The seats are metal and barred on the back & bottom, the upstairs patio is not shaded, and the main outdoor area is in between concrete buildings so every sound echoes and it becomes very loud when there are multiple people, in addition to the street noises and loud music. Not ideal for a workspace IMO. I think indoors is much better, but it is always filled.

I asked for the cream to be cut in half, which made it feel more balanced. Definitely one of the better tiramisu style drinks I've had. Also got the banana cream matcha, which leans a bit sweeter because of the banana cream, but surprisingly works well. The matcha itself is smooth and consistent, and you can adjust the sweetness, which I always appreciate. The space is clean and spacious, great for hanging out or getting some work done. Parking is easy with a garage downstairs (they offer validation, about 30 minutes free), which is a plus for DTLA. Overall, a solid spot with well executed drinks , I'd come back.

There are also street parking but can be difficult to cross the street due to cars driving by so quickly without a pedestrian crosswalk on one side. I ordered their signature drink which was the orange espresso tonic with one extra shot for my husband, and the double mango matcha for myself. Both of us really enjoyed the drinks, especially the orange espresso tonic. It was refreshing, clean, and easy to drink. Normally, they include double shots of espresso, which may have tasted stronger for me since my husband wanted three shots, and I usually stick with two shots. The double mango matcha uses fresh fruit syrup so the mango flavor was not too strong and my drink was very creamy due to the signature mango cream on top. Usually, I would enjoy a creamy matcha but it made me more thirsty on a hot day. The service took a bit of time since they had to mix my matcha the legit way with the bamboo whisk. The matcha tasted like premium, ceremonial matcha since it was stronger and authentic in taste.
