Receipt

Just ordered $70 worth of food from Gunston Wok that cost me over $90 with all of the ridiculous Door Dash fees. Only received one Shrimp Fried Rice but I ordered two (as clearly shown in the receipt). Called the restaurant to tell them I did not receive two orders of Shrimp Fried Rice. The man who answered just argued with me for a solid 5 minutes, telling me I did NOT order 2 shrimp fried rice. I finally asked him if he really thought I had nothing better to do than call and lie about not receiving food that I just spent $90 on. He refused to give me a refund or deliver the missing food, and continued yelling at me that I did not order two shrimp fried rice. Receipt is attached. You be the judge. Found this 10 mins into my meal when I felt a crunch.

Found this 10 mins into my meal when I felt a crunch. Loved this place but now they will not get my money anymore. All I got was "sorry" and not even a reimbursement. Smh The food is good but it's only a matter of time before YOU find something wrong with your food next. Avoid it now.

Good solid general tsos. Generous lunch portion for $6.99. Better than your average hole in the wall Chinese takeout.

The best Chinese take out in the Lorton area! Their fried rice, Kung Pao chicken and Shrimp fried rice are excellent!

The most decent Chinese place I've found so far. Not too bad but not always 100% great hence the 4 stars.

Good Chinese American food. Perfect for a "take out " night! I had the sweet and sour chicken and I was very pleased.

We laughed about the item I wanted to order not being available. They were attentive to the older ladies I was with. No complaints. The server is why this is two stars instead of one. Sadly, the food. Sigh. I know all these fusion places are disappointing, but mom wanted to come here. I asked if I could get the salad I wanted without the beef it comes with, but the answer was no. After reading the way too big menu twice, I ordered what I knew would be an incredibly sad drunken noodle. I'm not sure the restaurant knows what drunken noodle is. Does Fuse Box exist in an alternate pocket dimension where drunken noodle, with no listed fusion on the menu other than a strange "contains peanuts" warning, is drenched in a sweet peanut sauce even though it's listed as spicy with two peppers next to it on the menu? Where the noodles are just weird soggy mush? Where the spiciness rating scale might actually be a sweet sugar scale instead? Yes. Yes it does. Don't eat here. Just don't. I refused to eat my food. And not even mom suggesting it again in the distant future when she thinks I've forgotten, or she's forgotten my reaction to the food, will get me to return.

Very old school Chinese…read morerestaurant decor along with the paper placemat with Chinese zodiac printed around the border! Yall know what I'm talking about lol! Ordered a large variety of dim sum, a salt and pepper pork chop dish, and a whole Peking duck! Everything came out hot and fresh so no complaints there. Let's talk taste though... Peking duck was just ok, very dark in color and did not have that authentic taste. I would not recommend this place for their Peking duck. Even the wrappers had a weird taste the fried salt and pepper pork chops lacked both salt and pepper! The dim sum was again just ok, like if you need your fix and didn't feel like driving too far, then here is fine. Service was great and food came out pretty fast. My one star off is for taste and authenticity, prob a non Chinese would find this place great.

The sesame noodles were just lo mein noodles with a tiny drizzle of sauce and a few sesame seeds, no real flavor except dough. The Chongqing chicken had some pieces that were refrigerator-level cold, the chiles had just been dumped on top and not stir-fried with the chicken, and there were zero Sichuan peppercorns, so not mala at all. The chicken fried rice and the scallion pancakes were overcooked, and there was no sauce with the pancakes. Asked for utensils and hot oil, received neither.

Largr tasty pieces of crisp honeyed shrimp in the walnut shrimp, and large crispy wanted-perfect! .Yummy diced cashew chicken. Orange beef not particularly crispy (I suspect made first? Order was large, took awhile.) but delicious. Jade Scallop dish brimming with properly cooked tasty vegetables and a tasty sauce. Spare ribs a bit surprisingly fatty but very flavorful - even without the provided homemade brown & packaged duck sauces :) The "healthy" tofu dish was livened up with the brown sauce, yummy. The spring roll was crisp, decent, nothing special. None of us partaking tonight are Chinese or Thai, so I really cannot speak to authenticity. But Why oh why did I wait so long to order from here?! It deserves more love for sure! Also: when you order online here is through Grubhub fulfillment, no website that is current, they used to be in Calgary years ago. Yum!!! Also: just carry out I think. Mom-n-pop "hole-in-the-wall" ambience lol, couple tables inside, beverage coolers. Addenda: I have been looking for years for non-homemade (yes I make it) sweet and sour pork or chicken with pineapple, green pepper and onion, not just onion or tomato (!) I was told they make it this way, with carrot also. Yum! Looking forward do it!
