We decided to go back to our roots, eat some venezuelan made food from SCRATCH. The owners were there and were really welcoming Food was awesome, cant complain. Maybe more nata but my preference. Mandocas do have Anis so it has a really strong taste. The spot has some nice things to buy from homeland. Will be back!

As a venezuelan, loved the vine of the place and all the little trinkets they had which reminded me of home. We went with a group of four and got the mandocas and venezuelan sampler platter. It was the perfect amount of food. The owners came by and talked to us which made us feel heard and cared by. Definitely will recommend this place to any latin food lover

The restaurant has a really vibe-y atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor (under the plaza awning) seating. The waitress served us from outside which was a pleasant surprise, as I thought we'd have to order inside before transiting back out. My partner's arepa looked phenomenal, and my breakfast was also really good. Wasn't a fan of the plantain donut ring things but I love trying new things so it was still a great choice.

Wow ! Amazing spot ! This is a hidden gem located in Deerfield. My partner was waiting in line over at the tag agency so I decided to grab us some food while we wait and I was greeted by the owners a very sweet couple who used to have their very own cow farm back in Venezuela ! They cooked up some fresh empanadas for us and while I waited we chatted and they even let me try out their braided cheese that's made daily ! It was delicious! 10/10 the empanadas were amazing! Mary one of the owners was super nice !

Gusticos is a must! It's the place I eat at when I want authentic Venezuelan food by real Venezuelans. Maria is so kind. The place is clean, food is AMAZING, and the service is 10/10

My mom is from Venezuela so I grew up with arepas, tequenos and all of that good food. This place is delicious and authentic. I've been here twice so far and have loved the food each time. It's a small business and the owners are awesome. Very friendly folks. I ordered: Tequenos - Some of the best tequenos I've had in a while. (they are kind of like cheese sticks but doughier and more delicious). They came with a garlic cilantro dipping sauce. Arepa pabellon - So GOOD. This arepa has all of the ingredients of the national dish of Venezuela; Shredded beef, black beans, fried sweet plantains and an obscene abundance of grated cheese. Very messy but worth every bite. 10/10. The only downside is the food comes out SCORCHING HOT. I had to let my food cool down for about 10 minutes before I took a bite. No big deal to me, better hot than cold. Would be perfect if the food were not as hot though. They also sell traditional Venezuelan snacks like torontos and cocosettes. These can be difficult to find at most supermarkets so it's nice to see them in stock here. They also have freshly made traditional Venezuelan cheeses. I got a block of palmizulia and it tastes extremely authentic! It's an awesome place overall. I look forward to exploring more of their menu.. I'll try their reina pepiada and cachapas next. Can't wait!

Excellent Venezuelan food we had for breakfast. The place is really cozy and the food was amazing with less of options

We really enjoyed breakfast here! Outdoor seating was very nice. Our server was great and who I think was the owner came to ask how we enjoyed everything as well.

3.5 stars. The restaurant has potential, but the food is pretty bland. I got the Arepa with Shredded Chicken -- it lacked flavor until I doused it in hot sauce. Some of the chicken was blue, which was questionable. The arepa itself was good, but I have had better. If I am in the area again, I will go back and try something else.

The food was wonderful. We order a Reina pepiada, una empanada de pabellón, y arepa de carne mechada. All 3 were delicious. My favorite was the empanada. It exterior was crunchy yet soft. It was the perfect combination of fresh, sweet, crunch, and deliciousness. It taste like a piece of heaven. I also order their coconut lemonade. That alone was to die for. Staff attention was on point. Friendly, funny, charismatic and fast. I don't usually leave glorious reviews but this one deserve it.

For the price you're better off going to a restaurant with entres. Over priced arepas and overall overpriced for the portions you get.

The "manager" of the parking lot, tall guy, could not be ruder to the elderly patrons. Leaves the cars running in the lot with driver doors opened and key in ignition. Extremely rude doesn't want to hear guests saying concerns. Ruined a great night hearing him talk to this poor older couple. Go to JBs just pay for parking elsewhere, not worth dealing with this jerk.

I like that they give the option of keeping the car parked up front (but no sir, there's no reason to show off my fancy dodge - let's keep her under the garage cover) The hostesses were so friendly and attentive! This always impresses me. A restaurant killer is unfriendly or inattentive hosts. Chose to sit along the water for some vitamin-sea Joelle was the bartender/server. She was great Willy who I believe is another server was excellent. Anytime he ran food he would have something fresh and inventive to say. He is a great energy! I had the lobster flatbread a glass of wine and a Saratoga sparkling. I've been coming here since 2007 and have never had a bad meal or experience. True gem of south Florida and a great escape from the daily grind

Not a perfect visit but a decent visit and I am a CB Loyalty member. Came in after a rainstorm and…read morewas served by Ms. T (or similar name). We were in the 3rd (rear dining room) and server, who I noted had many stars on her apron and may have been a CB five (5) star server, began by offering drinks. I let her know we could order all. With my Uncle Herschel's breakfast I asked for the Ciuntry (salty) ham and told how I wanted the eggs cooked. My Uncle Herschel's according to the menu supposedly comes with a Side choice. I asked whether there were any healthy" side choices. I stumped her for a little while as I thought of Fried Apples. She eventually responded "grits or fruit cup." I told her I wanted grits. CB has the best grits and I really enjoyed them with the eggs, ham, biscuits, and gravy. But the Country salty ham was too tough, and therefore, largely inedible. I know grits aren't healthy though, lol. While butter was brought out no jelly was brought out (guess I didn't really need the extra calories) but I think jelly/jam should have been brought out to the table being that it was breakfast. Afterwards, in the gift shop I saw one of the managers, Danny, who has worked there over ten (10) years and who I've known longer than ten (10) years. He walked by me in the gift shop AT least three (3) times but never looked my way. No real hospitality ... from him anyway. I would have preferred a real One Stip Shop at breakfast instead of merely being offered drinks. Some jellies/jams would have been nice. Food, with Over Easy eggs (?) took a surprisingly long time to prepare. The question mark is because Over Easy eggs are quick to prepare. Server, despite being a possible to star, was largely absent. TBH I did not even feel comfortable asking her for jelly. Delicious biscuits and gravy. In conclusion, food took too long to come out. out. I fear Fried Apples may no longer even be on their menu? Not sure. A transactional experience today 9/09/2026 where the manager cannot even be bothered to greet guests in the gift shop.
