Missed this place coming into Taos, as they only do breakfast and lunch. So glad we caught it on the way out of town! I believe the owner sat us, and he was very pleasant. Server was upbeat and made helpful suggestions. Mint lemonade was surprisingly good. Had a bite of the Tortilla Espanola, which was quite good. Loved the Pollo Borachon! This is my third attempt to eat here. One should note that they are not open mondays nor after 3 pm I walked in and the place was packed at 1pm by 1:40 I was the only one here I sat down scanned for wifi but discovered that this place doesn't have WiFi. That's a minus 1 in my book. The coffee is nothing to write home about. I reviewed the menu and as always I asked the server what their best recommendation would be for a meal. I planned the sandwich with my server and told her when I order I'll ask for "the Usual". This was a bit of a prank on my lunch companion. Like, I'm a regular even though this is my first visit. So I ordered the Ham and Brie sandwich. It was ok but again nothing to write home about. Over all the staff were great and this maybe a better place to go for breakfast. Maybe next time. read more

Amazing experience! We stopped in for breakfast and were delighted by the outstanding service from the moment we arrived. The waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely personable. The food was DIVINE!!!! I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the sign "Latin French Fusion" but trusted other Yelp reviews. I would have given higher review as overall a very lovely place. The food was very good (we had french toast and eggs Benedict) and the decorations are charming. The owner is also a very welcoming. The only issue that caused me to write this review so hopefully it will improve is the experience when we ordered. The person who took our order (female, blonde hair) seemed annoyed when I asked a few questions about the menu and a bit impatient, which did detract from the overall experience. read more

You can't leave Taos without visiting this amazing restaurant. I had the Taosuenos with toasted french bread instead of tortilla and flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Both were amazing and the prices are very reasonable for Taos. The staff is also friendly and efficient. Everything is homemade, so it takes a bit longer than usual to get food, but so worth the wait. read more

The French toast and Croque Madame are my favorite. The bar was set really high for me after having their croque madame for the first time three years ago. For breakfast my wife had a Brie and ham with bechamel sauce folded into a crepe topped with an amazing sauce, made of chile, oil and egg, essentially a chile aioli....To say orgasmic doesn't do it justice.... Even her hot tea was amazing... Mine was good...I had the Brie and green chile omelette.... Wish we were in Taos longer so we could explore other items on the breakfast menu.... We came here last year and I just fell in love with their yellow hot sauce, unfortunately in February our fridge went out so they told me we would have get some in person since they don't ship. So here we are a year later and everything is just as delicious as it was last year. I appreciate their patience with our special needs kiddo as I know that can be frustrating. Best food and service in Taos. No joke. I crave their Parisian Crepe all the time (their other dishes are to die for also). I didn't know I could be so lucky, French food is my all time favorite and moving from the cities in North Carolina where I had several options to tiny Taos I thought I would have to wait a long time before I'd get to savor it again. The ladies who work there are wonderful, I often joke I wish I could work there also just so I can hang out with them. The prices are insanely affordable for the fresh quality of the dishes and, as such, my husband and I are able to justify regularly having a weekend brunch there. read more

Great service and nice atmosphere. We enjoyed the Brie omelette (maybe a fewer potatoes and more Brie?). We also ordered the four cheese bread that was served open faced and was light and flavorful. Dynamite spot! My wife and I had the pleasure of grabbing lunch here while in town and I'll definitely be going back on my next visit. I noticed the coffee was really really good and upon inquiring learned its roasted locally and was originally obtained through old school bartering -- great minds think alike (great coffee/great food). The highlight was most certainly the Paella...holy smokes. If you are at all a foodie and bask in the delight of things done well-- try it. I could best describe the experience as one in which the flavor reinvented itself over and over. My wife and I live in Taos and go to Gutiz once or twice a month. It is easily one of our favorite places to eat in the area. I have never had anything that I didn't love from their menu. The lunch sandwiches are all fantastic - their bread is always great. I would recommend finding a menu item with their Gutiz potatoes (or order them on the side). As for their breakfast: my favorite so far is the eggs benedict. Their french toast is awesome as well. read more

In town for the long weekend, decided to stop by here for brunch. It's a small, quaint little restaurant, not too busy on a Saturday morning/afternoon. We were seated immediately, and the service was amazing. Very nice and clean, but the best part was the food! Omg we first got mimosas, which were absolutely incredible. I got the Parisian Crepe, and my boyfriend got the Egg tower. Both were fantastic, but we both agreed that the Parisian Crepe was the best! I had the Eggs Benedict. Yolks were runny (good), and the potatoes had a great garlic flavoring. Side of bacon was great too. Wife had a steak salad. Steak came uncut, which seemed a little odd.
