Nearby a fav viet comfort food place (Hien Thành) I frequent, Da Viên stood. I had seen it before but was usually too full to stop by. Well today was the day and they did not disappoint. I told the cashier it was my first time there so I needed guidance on recommendations. I knew I wanted a power punch yet flavorful coffee. She suggested the egg cream or ube cream and I was also eyeing their signature marble drip but she said it was lighter bc there was more milk. She asked if I wanted a sampling, uh YES!! She gave me 2 clean separate spoons so I could savor and discern my selection. The space is thoughtfully curated, modern and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful, service great! It was packed so immediately I knew it had to be good. And the customers were right, the ube cream coffee was magnificent. Suffice to say, I'm coming back!!

I don't know if it's added to the matcha cream on top, but it also had some saltiness that paired perfectly with the seaweed-y umami notes of the matcha. I also like that the matchas come with oat milk by default. The nuttiness of the milk suits matcha perfectly. Overall a great drink! My sister got the matcha einspanner and also says it was good. Line and wait went quickly. I'd definitely go again!

The overall flavors were pretty good for a boba drink. I was initially intrigued by their durian coffee, but their tea here is actually pretty good. Not sure how their coffee is here, but will definitely try next time if in the mood for coffee! Also the cups here are pretty cute! Food tasted alright, but there is a rumor that the veggie sides ordered included for most dishes, not used, are given back to some patrons who order their dishes. Fresh untouched, and unused veggies are a Viet staple. Im all for not wasting food but simply washing and letting un-used veggies soak not only Re-clean but hydrate the veggies for a crispy freshness sanitized, which is so important now. I got limp veggies looking used and half dead, this does no represent Vietnam, its truly a shame. This is a newer location that just moved, but the quality has diminished. Especially my Bun Rieu! Wow did they lower the quality of this dish! The noodles turned bright orange, not keeping the natural fresh noodle color ill show you the examples...(notice the orange noodle were made by this place) and by was it tasteless! This was my fourth visit to Ha Noi Pho, where we ordered Bun Rieu, Bun Cha Ha Noi, and Banh Tom Co Ngu. - **Bun Rieu (Vietnamese Crab and Tomato Vermicelli Soup):** The taste is excellent and reminds me of the Bun Rieu from South Vietnam. The addition of softshell crab on top is a nice touch. However, it's disappointing that Elsholtzia ciliata (Kinh Gioi) leaves are missing. It seemed that their personal circumstances were affecting their demeanor, rather than our arrival. As a result, the service was average without any standout elements. When we asked questions, they provided answers, but nothing exceptional. The food was decent but didn't offer anything particularly special for us. If you are craving for a good bowl of bún riêu then you are in for a treat at Ha Noi Corner. Their Bún riêu cua lột Hà Nội (soft-shell crab, tomato and tofu vermicelli soup - Ha Noi style) is as good as it gets. The eye-catching broth, the wonderful aroma along with the different textures of the ingredients make their bún riêu cua lột absolutely fantastic. I have been there so many times and only a few times in which I was able to order something else. Don't get me wrong, they have many delicious dishes here but Bún riêu cua lột Hà Nội is my go to dish! Variety of food from Hanoi which cannot he found around Bolsa very often. Simple delicious straightforward Vietnamese food. I come here very often with my family. My kids who usually don't eat Vietnamese food loves rose come here and eat! I have basically tried everything on the menu and I have to say they are all very up to standard. I'm honestly a regular here and I haven't been able to post a review but this place definitely deserves a try! There is very little parking so be aware of that. Also you have to order the green tea Thai tea and ask for less sugar if you can because it seems to be a bit sweet and never ask for less ice their ice is the best lol. read more

I ordered their bun Cha & it was decent. Not quite what I was expecting, but it the flavor was good. I expected more fresh veggies, herbs & a colder dish, I received a warm soup to pour over my noodles. I've been to Hanoi, Vietnam so my expectations are always high given the fact that bun Cha is one of my favorite dishes. I also ordered their jasmine milk tea with white boba since they ran out of the black boba & it was amazing. I was craving for a bowl of bun rieu, and found this place on yelp. I've never had Ha Noi style bun rieu, but I'm glad I discovered this! The basics are the same: crab noodle in a tomato base soup. This place doesn't serve it with pork blood, but they do have a full soft shell crab in the soup! And yes, the entire crab is edible! The vibrant colors from the red tomatoes and fresh green veggies made this dish pop! The flavors were also great and had a strong crab aroma. We ordered "bun dau mam tom" and "bun cha ha noi". For us, "bun dau mam tom" is good, but "bun cha ha noi" is not tasty at all. The soup is so bland and the meat is total lean not having a little fat (pork belly should have been used for this dish); also the meat is thick and dry. I ordered the regular chicken pho, and by the time I went home, I felt so much better. The broth was rich, flavorful, and incredibly comforting. I've been searching for the best pho for years, and this is honestly the best pho I've found. My favorite dish is the Miến Gà Trộn with dark meat chicken thigh. The glass noodles are perfectly chewy, the chicken is tender and flavorful, and the broth that comes with it is phenomenal. It's one of those dishes I keep craving and ordering again and again. I've also tried the Chả Cá Lăng fish dish, which was outstanding. I've sampled some of the pork specialties as well, and everything has been delicious so far. I still have a few dishes left to try, including the eel noodle soup and some of the other Hanoi specialties. The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable, and every dish tastes like it was made with care. One thing I always notice is that there are usually older Vietnamese customers eating here, which tells me the food is authentic and well-loved by the local community. I'm so glad I found this place. Great food, great value, a wonderful owner, and the kind of restaurant that keeps you coming back. Five stars all the way. Highly recommended.

I enjoy when there is a bit of crisp or crunch topping, but I didn't get that with this one.

And no, SEN is not a KEI Concepts location! After ordering, we were given our waters in plastic to-go cups, which I thought was a little strange. After our food arrived, there was no check in, no water refills, and you have to go up to the counter to pay. At least its very convenient, streamlined, and efficient! I found the food to have a great depth of flavor, something a lot of pho places lack. I especially liked the wider noodles which offered a nice chew and texture change. Everything was cooked perfectly, and there were plenty of sauces to mix and match if you wanted to spice things up. Definitely worth a visit!

The soup arrived piping hot, exactly how Bun Riêu should be served, and the flavors were outstanding. The broth was rich without being too heavy, and the bowl was generously loaded with crab, tofu, crab cake, fresh herbs, noodles, and snails. A tip for anyone trying it for the first time: be sure to mix in the mắm ruốc (fermented shrimp paste) and the ground Thai chili paste. Those two condiments elevate the broth and bring out the authentic flavors. I stopped by during my lunch break and was in and out in about 45 minutes, including dining in. The service was fast, attentive, and efficient. It appeared to be a family-run restaurant with the husband, wife, and son working together. Duoc, who helped me, provided excellent service. Great food, excellent service, and authentic flavors. I'll definitely be bringing my entire family here the next time we're craving Bun Riêu. Highly recommended!

My only complaints are 1) there was not enough noodles for a $15 bowl, so if you don't add any vegetables into your soup then you might not be full and 2) it was really hot inside the restaurant; no AC? But as far as taste goes, it's delicious!
