Drinks are exceptionally good with their fruit drinks being my favorite. Their milk tea drinks are still good though Service is very easy and patient with their barista working fast, leaving only a couple minutes of waiting time. They have a lot to choose from on their menu so it can be a tough choice but they have their signatures on a seprate board. The shop itself is very cozy with some claw machines that can be played in. Overall, very awesome and their cups are huge which makes your. purchase worth it!

Very nostalgic boba franchise and sad they don't have the split cups anymore. Even the interior is nostalgic and service is friendly as always. We got the fresh milk with grass jelly which tastes exactly as it sounds. :)

The fattest bubble tea drinks you'll ever see. Bring cash and avoid an extra percent credit card charge. Cool that you can add in pudding but the drink was just okay imo...tasted more like the powder ingredients than anything.

This milk tea spot was highly recommended by my friend. He's always reminiscing about it and swears their original milk tea is his all-time favorite, even though it's the most simple option. With that kind of praise, I had to come try it for myself. When I arrived, the line started toward the back of the store, where they had a huge menu board that made it easy to browse. They offer over a hundred different drinks, which was honestly a little overwhelming at first. Thankfully, they had a Top 10 list, which helped me narrow things down. I ended up getting the oolong milk tea with honey boba. There were signs saying the oolong had just returned, so it must be pretty popular. Unfortunately, I came close to closing time and they had already run out of honey boba, but they let me substitute another topping, so I chose grass jelly instead. I ordered it at 50% sweetness with regular ice, and it turned out great. The drink came in a larger cup than I expected for a regular size, which was a nice bonus. There was plenty of parking behind the store, making it easy to stop by. The overall vibe was fun. There was a nice long bench to wait for your drinks. Overall, I really enjoyed my drink and would definitely come back again, especially to try their honey boba next time.

What We Ordered: -#2 Milk Tea with Pudding & Honey Boba $7.51 I've heard Half and Half is a local favorite in MPK and worth checking out. A friend even told me they traveled far to come here before all the milk tea shops opened in the SGV. I wanted to see what the hype was about, so I asked the cashier for recommendations. They pointed me to the wall with the Top 10 Most Popular Drinks. We chose #2. We ordered the regular size, which cost $7.51 with tax. Keep in mind it's $0.30 more expensive if you pay with a card. While it was a bit pricey for the size, the drink tasted great, and we loved the sweet boba. We will definitely be back to try other drinks!

Half and half has always been my go to for many years for boba!! They never disappoint and I always pick the super size. There's a lot of drinks to choose from which sets this place to be different from the rest. Also they're the original honey boba spot so theres a nostalgia to it as well. This place does get busy so prepare to wait! :)

Great service and wonderful promotion right now (free upgrade per customer M-F). Always love coming for their iced milk drink with caramel honey boba and egg pudding! Very nostalgic of our childhood

Another recommendation from my boyfriend from his previous trip to Los Angeles; Half and Half Tea Express. The shop has two entrances/exits, front and back. If you are coming from the front entrance, there is limited street parking. If you are coming from the back entrance, there is a parking lot that is shared with the other businesses. We parked in the back with no issues. The menu is quite overwhelming with lots of options. My boyfriend ordered the Caramel Milk Black Tea with Honey Boba. I ordered the Lavender Milk Tea with Honey Boba and Egg Pudding. There is an ongoing in-store promotion that applies Monday to Friday where you can get a free super cup upgrade. I didn't know what could possibly entail, but we both opted for it. The super size cups are HUGE. I loved the chewy texture of the boba here! The interior of the shop is a bit cramped, so I wouldn't hang around too long. There is a long bench where customers can sit while they wait for their orders as well as a few window seats.

How many ounces is the regular cup versus the super cup?

How much is a regular milk tea with boba!?

    About $6.50

How is this business handling the re-opening? What safety measures are they taking? Are they offering indoor/outdoor dine-in?…

Is this location still open - I came by yesterday and today and they were closed?

To my knowledge it was still open. Modified hours, better to call them first before heading over

Apologies for the dumb question, but do the cups now the size that would fit in a cup holder in the cars? I have avoided H&H for a long time because I can't think of a way to drink it on my way home

Yes they've changed their cups so it'll fit in your cup holders now!

    Do u have almond milk?

    Yes

Have you sell franchise thank you?

I always order it, but still don't really know what "Old Fashion" is? I thought it was just that they use soy? Looking at their menu, it doesn't seem like that's what it is?

They mentioned that old fashion uses "traditional black tea" versus regular black tea and it is much more bitter.

Do they have nut based or soy based milk options?

Yes they have the old fashion black tea with soy milk. I like mine less less sugar add boba and red bean because they are made with sugar so it sweetens it.…

Can the mike tea do none sugar? ? The store is closed on Monday and Tuesday or it open 7 days a week?

Depends how you like it. But I always ask half sugar, and now starting to ask quarter sugar, but the barista says "no" because it will be flavorless and there's purpose of getting the drink because it will taste awful after it's mixed. I assume it's…

    Do they have gift cards?

Yes, they sell $10 gift certificates

We ordered two of their best-sellers--the Daydream Black Tea Latte and Divine Awakening Tea Latte--and both were weak, watered down, and not fragrant at all. The drinks were also strangely too cold, even for iced. They make their jelly in-house, which we were excited about since jelly toppings are big in the 626, but theirs was plain and forgettable. The shop is inside 99 Ranch, and the seating area felt dingy, with dirty, grimy tables. Staff were friendly and polite, and that's the main reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. The only upside was the friendly service, but overall, with so many better boba options in the area, we wouldn't come back.

There's a self-order kiosk and since no one else was in line I was able to browse through it on my own time. I ordered the Osmanthus Oolong Tea ($5.05) with Osmanthus Oolong Tea Jelly ($1). I was the only one there so took maybe only about 2 minutes to come out. Both the tea and the jelly had a very strong tea flavor, which is what I prefer, which is why I usually reduce the amount of sweetness in all my drinks. It's definitely different with the jelly instead of the boba I usually get, but it's a nice change. Contact was very minimal since you order at the kiosk first and the only human interaction is when they bring out your order to you. I think for the size that you get it was pretty pricy, but it's definitely slightly different from your typical boba shop. If I happen to be at this same 99 Ranch again I'd stop by for a treat, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

The osmanthus flavor was fragrant and nicely went with the oolong so it wasn't bitter. The cream on top was a bit average and didn't taste that good with the osmanthus oolong since it covered the osmanthus taste a bit. The cream is like coffee cream and not like the sea salt cream I kind of expected, which was my fault. However, the tea quality was good and authentic. Next time I will not be getting the cream with my tea so I can fully enjoy the tea.
