Ordered a calzone pizza wings and a pizza from here. I thought it would be a nice break and support local. I was mistaken from a poorly made calzone that they obviously forgot how to make. When you make a calzone you might want to add cheese it All I got ease the topping in a soggy folded mess. I believe in giving second chances and this was it. When I did go in before the quarantine stuff happened I ordered the calzone and they totally forgot it from our order. If you can not make the calzone please take it off the menu. Food was great! It's your neighborhood friendly sports bar. They got options like wings, salad, sandwiches, pizza, pastas, and great appetizers to chose from. Me and my fiancé like to come in and share a pizza and some wings. Nice spot to enjoy some food and watch the game. They got plenty of tvs around and the volume is perfect to hear it and still carry a conversation. There's typically no wait either which I enjoy very much to just walk in and get taken care of right away. The servers are very friendly and helpful. I've never felt more taken care of. Our server Melody was especially good to us, she would make sure to check up on us often and always make sure our drinks were full, and we had everything we needed. Location is good too. For being attached to a gas station it's still real nice and very roomy. Highly recommend, even just to come enjoy a beer and catch a game. read more

Hmmm this was a difficult one BUT I have to be honest I like the atmosphere but I am kinda hard to please when it comes to pizza lol (psssttt it's because I am bias about Ny pizza) but I digress. I had to use a GPS because I wasn't too familiar with the area. My main reason for going was because I wanted to try the cauliflower pizza which you will pay extra for... What I always adore is recognition and immediately I was greeted at the door and asked if I was there for pick up. Thumbs up for that! Now here comes where I'm a bit stuck. Now understand I preordered these pizza. 1 was a veggie cauliflower for myself and the other was the margarita o margarita for the kiddos. They both were warm but not hot like I was expecting. Now I can't completely blame that on them because they might have made it right after I called BUT moving to the taste! I enjoyed it... it was ok but again I think the price should be a little lower because of the size. The second pizza which was the biggest size was ok... maybe I should have just gotten a cheese pizza because one kid didn't eat any and the other only ate 1 so I'm not sure. I will say this happened yesterday because I wanted to test the keto scale and it's another thumbs up because it didn't effect my keto so maybe not for everyone BUT the keto part of me is ok with it! The atmosphere is what you would expect from a sports themed place with a bar. Booths help keep things private and the blinds keep the sun out. We had the lemon pepper wings which were delicious! I love the seasoning here better than the place I normally get them. Don't be fooled by the pizza rolls, they're LARGE. We got 3 and they were more than enough. I could see myself coming back during happy hour and getting 2 and a beer and I'd be good for the night. We ordered the homerun baby pizza and all the veggies were fresh cut, not canned or withered. Loved the amount of sauce, to bread ratio. The ranch had extra doll seasoning which gave it more of a tang taste. All in all, it's my new fave place to get pizza and wings. Love it! read more

Super disappointed. We come to Halftime pizza regularly but today was so disappointing. We got served pretty quickly but noticed we had been waiting for 45 mins already and saw to go orders going out non stop. when we went to ask what was going on we found out our order had never been entered!! The anger that boiled in me as a mother who's 2 year old had been waiting and nagging for pizza. I understand places are understaffed and it was busy. I know what it's like to deal with ugly customers. It took everything in me not to say anything. But I suddenly had to think of plan B at 830pm on what I was going to feed my family. Wait another 20 mins for pizza and wings or just pick up Pizza Hut on the way home? So here we are, eating dinner at 930pm because someone made a simple mistake and forgot to put the main thing in when someone comes into a restaurant... the dang food! Saddens me because I love to support local businesses and support people working local, but I'm never coming back to this place. Had to settle for Pizza Hut who had my pizza done in 10 mins. What a waste of time. Owner if you're reading this- please look into this location. As a business owner I don't know how you can run an operation where there are not better processes in place to check on your patrons. My mom and I love this place. It's a nice spot to catch lunch... away from the kiddos! The apps are so good. The pizza is even better. I'm not a beer drinker but my mom is and she swears theirs is just right. The service can be a bit slow at times but I get it. Never again. NEVER. AGAIN. Two orders in a row placed months apart (yes, covid, I get it). The first we had to cancel, the staff cooked up the burgers and fries and left them *sitting on the counter* for over 20 minutes while waiting for the pizza and they couldn't seem to understand why we'd cancel that order. Today we placed an order, had a delivery time, and 15 min post delivery our doordash driver calls to tell us "they say they've never served burgers " um . I called the store to hear "oh we ran out of burgers but we gave you a credit ". No you made the driver complicit in a situation they have no power over. Stay far far away from this restaurant. My roommates and I frequent Halftime Pizza about 2-3 times per month. The fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, wings, and pizza by the slice are our go to. The buffalo/lemon pepper are our favorite but the mango habanero come a close second. Delivery on here was DEFINITELY more expensive and really not worth it as it add almost $11-14 to your $30 meal order depending on tip. Just swing by and get it yourself to save the cash. The food. THE first time we ordered them they were almost out of this world! Soft, buttery crust with gobs of cheese and big chunks of pepperoni all wrapped up into what seems like an Italian egg roll! With the sauce it was heaven on earth! The SECOND time we ordered them.. they were small, mostly crunchy and not soft and barely had any cheese and NO big pepperonis this time, just those small square chunks placed in like they didn't give a damn. They were still good and had a good taste but no where close to first time! I would say they greatly need to work and improve their system and models for how to keep a consistent product for sure! The pizza was good and not bad despite our requests to have extra sauce and extra cheese. They went the opposite and had almost no cheese and almost no sauce. That was disappointing however the main disappointment was that they WAY OVER COOKED the bottom of the Pizza and it was hard to not taste the burnt crust as it over powered most of the pizza! We feel that had they followed our instructions for more sauce and more cheese and not way over cooked the pizza the ingredients would make this pizza one of our top choices. So I went into halftime pizza yesterday. I asked them if they had any specials, and they said yes they have two 1 topping pizzas for $20. I said that sounds good I will get one sausage and one pepperoni. When my pizzas were finished 40 minutes later, I paid 4 both without checking the receipt. They charged me 1 dollar per pizza to add a topping, I guess they consider cheese the first topping on their pizzas. On top of that there was literally one piece of sausage / pepperoni per slice on these pizzas. Take a look at the picture I am not exaggerating. I will never return to this pizza place because they are a complete and total rip off. I thought $20 for two medium pizzas sounded excessive but I was thinking if it's really good it's worth it, & I love really good pizza. Calzones are absolutely bona-fide! A lil history, I ordered some pizzas and one was wrong. They admitted to the order and offered to temake it. In essence of time I said just to add veggies to the other half and throw it back in the oven for a bit. David, the manager, obliged and got on it. Halftime Pizza received their alcohol license soon after my first review, but I never came back to correct that aspect of my previous submission. They now have a very nice selection of wine, and I really like the way they manage their beer taps. There are only about six taps, so they use these for the decent beers: Busted Sandal IPA, Shiner Bock, Peroni, Dos Equis and a couple more. The "usual suspects" for people who don't like beer (e.g. Bud, Miller, Coors regular & light) are available in bottles. Why doesn't every bar do it this way? A couple of updates to the food: The pizza rolls are probably the best finger food I've ever had at a pizza joint. In fact, I drop in at least once a week to grab some to go. A half order (five pieces) is enough for my wife and me to have as a meal. Another big winner: the house dressing. It's kind of a thin ranch dressing with lots of dill. It's unusual but very good. Bridget who's working the tables is over worked. Every time something is needed from her she would listen and acknowledge but quickly forgets about you. Doesn't clean your table, doesn't ask if you're ready for your check. She desperately needs help. Food was great, service is subpar. This review is just based on the food as we got it to go. The pizza was what you'd expect from a small pizza place, flavorful and tasty. Nothing about it was exceptional though, sadly. Well, the size was pretty small. With so many chain pizza places within a mile or two they really need to do something to stand out. We also got some bread sticks but they were bland. I can see they're experimenting with some unique flavors, like the chicken enchilada, but the ingredients just don't stand out enough for me to want to go back. This was my first time ordering from Halftime and I ordered for delivery. The food was hot and fresh and reasonably priced. I ordered buffalo spicy wings and a medium with sausage and bell peppers for my kids to share. The kids gave it their stamp of approval. Half the pizza seemed to have 90% of the cheese but that wasn't a huge problem. The sausage was tasty and the peppers were fresh. The dough was fresh too which I appreciated. It was missing something though. The sauce wasn't as flavorful as I liked. The buffalo wings were actually the best part of the meal. However I really wish they had bleu cheese dressing. I didn't see it as an option and didn't really have time to call and ask. Their ranch dressing tasted homemade, which was a plus, and looked like they had added dill weed which was an interesting flavor, but nothing compared to bleu cheese IMHO. The wings were hot and flavorful with the perfect amount of sauce. I hate it when wings are just drenched in sauce or barely have any sauce at all. We ordered dinner to go and were pleasantly surprised at how smooth their curbside service was! Food was great! I tried the chicken, spinach, and cheese calzone with a Caesar Salad and it was all heavenly! Their Caesar salad is like no other! Something about their dressing and homemade croutons is divine. My husband had their pizza rolls and garden salad. He prefers their Greek vinaigrette dressing over their balsamic which is super-thick and has too heavy of a syrup taste to it.
