What a solid place to get a breakfast burrito. I will say I'm so used to my BIG BREAKFAST BURRITOS but this one here.... It's still filling and has tons of flavor! I was next door doing laundry and decided to walk over and try this place out, I know it's been open for a while but to me it's new :) I was immediately greeted by Forest.... Like Forest Gump. Forest was a cool man and literally introduced himself that way lol I shortly glanced at the menu and made my selection on the double meat burrito, I asked forest if that's a good choice and he completely agreed and said I won't be disappointed. I'm just minutes I was walking out with a hot freshly made burrito with a couple of there salsas in a brown paper bag to go. I was totally impressed on the flavors of this breakfast burrito, it was a perfectly salted and full of meats...just how I like it. I will say the size seems to be smaller then other breakfast burritos I've had but once I was done I was full... so don't let the size fool you ;) I will be retuning to try something different off the menu. It's located in a plaza with tons of parking so no need to worry about that. Also there is NO seating so grab and go is ideal. If you're in the area I highly recommend you check them out. Enjoy! Stopped by here on Monday morning and it did not dissatisfied. The moment we walked in we were greeted by the two friendliest employees. We ordered two of the original breakfast burritos split in half. They ordered to wrap the halves separately, which was great. The burritos are jam packed and have the perfect ratio of eggs to meat and potatoes. The salsa complimented the burritos really well. This place was great!

I'm a breakfast burrito kind of person plain and simple. If I'm out and you ask me what I feel like having for breakfast 99% of the time I'll say breakfast burrito. Now Ham n Scram is a place I pass by somewhat often and always tell myself I'm going to give it a try. Well I finally did I was out with my partner and our pups and figure after our morning walk it's breakfast burrito time. I walked in trying to decide what to get but the Original breakfast burrito just made sense with everything it had in it. Its not the biggest burrito but it's a good tasting burrito. The price was a little eh. I think with tax it put me around $15 just for the burrito. The place is spotless very clean and well kept, menu has pretty much all the prices removed which I don't like. Just be upfront with your pricing regardless of the cost. There is no seating so it's a grab and go kind of place, parking is plentiful. Would I come back... Hmmm.. it was a good tasting burrito but for the price I can go elsewhere (not naming the competition because I don't think it's right too) and get a good breakfast burrito for half the price less than a couple miles away. I might be back just to support small businesses.

Grab your food and SCRAM bc there's no seating Food: boyfriend loved his breakfast sandwich. I got the breakfast bowl (no cheese) and it was great. Salsa has the perfect kick. LOVE that they use compostable bowls, paper bags and compostable forks. Thank you for caring. Huge fan of this spot, probably my favorite breakfast burrito in Long Beach. As good as the burrito is on its own, the salsa puts it on another level. I go with The Original Breakfast Burrito every visit and honestly I don't feel the need to go with another menu item because why mess with a good thing? And although you'll catch me here when I'm having a breakfast burrito craving, I often come here for their ham bones! I'm big on making legume-based soups and using ham bones take my soup to another level! My fur child is a big fan of the meat from these bones too. All the employees here, from the college kids to the owner himself are so nice and helpful and their service definitely solidifies this as a five-star review. This location is small and doesn't provide dine in seating, so definitely be prepared for a takeout order but there's a great park near by if you need a place to eat.

This is a very solid option for anyone who wants an American omelette or scramble on the go! Let me start with the service because I truly don't think I've ever gotten faster service anywhere other than a fast food restaurant! It probably only took 3-4 minutes for them to make my burrito! The young men were both very nice and friendly. The burrito itself was a good size, and definitely worth the $13 price! The ham itself is really really delicious, there's a reason it's in their name! Unfortunately the cheese didn't melt all the way, which would have taken this burrito up a notch. They also have shredded potatoes in there which are good, but could use more texture. I also didn't think the salsa it was served with really complemented the burrito, but they have other options you can choose from! Overall, I see why this is a really popular spot! I love that it's family owned and has great costumer service. I was eating on the go, so I didn't take note of there is any seating inside, but I don't think there is. If there is seating, it's very minimal.

Came here on a Saturday around 10:00am. One person in front of me. Service was quick. Space was clean. Got the original breakfast burrito. It was fairly big. Sauce on the side was good but not spicy. Ham inside is what made it stand out it was salty and cooked well. Overall, worth trying out.

I've been coming here every week on Wednesday mornings, as that's my only free morning during the weekdays, and honestly I don't see myself stopping for anyone. I remember when this place opened for the first time last year (?) and I got super excited from their cutesy logo. I passed by 7th every day looking over, eagerly awaiting it's opening. And then their doors opened. I've tried pretty much everything here except for a few lunch sandwiches, and I can honestly recommend everything they have, especially their breakfast options. Their specialty is ham, not the boring deli kind, the actual spiral ham kind of ham, so you're in for good ham when you order it. The toast that comes with their breakfast is sooo soft. And the bread on their sandwiches is soooo soft. I don't know how to achieve this softness. If you order coffee, you get it in a coca cola cup. I feel like I'm in a diner. The staff are amazing. The aura is nice. They're super nice and super attentive people that I could honestly go fishing with long-term and yap about life. If you want food, come here. 10/10 recommend.

If your breakfast burrito don't stick out of the paper bag it came with that is not the spot there is a burrito inside the bag

Pretty solid breakfast burrito with generous fillings. We ordered The Original which was meaty to begin with, I don't think you'd need to order the double meat option. The portions are a decent size, I could only finish 3 quarters until I was too full, and each burrito comes with a side of salsa. I wish the salsa had a little bit more flavor but it does have a little kick to it, which I liked. Place is fairly busy, not too much of a line, but there was a steady stream of customers picking up their phone-in orders.

We were looking for a good bfast burrito in the Long Beach area. If you are looking for a heart bfast burrito; this place is it. We got the double meat and boy was it filling. You can ask for the sauces they have. I'm a sucker for a cubano and had to try it. Not my fave on their menu. The bfast burrito is where this place shine. I'll be back to try other things in their menu. read more

love Ham n Scram. The food is fresh, hot, perfect and then people are so friendly. Best breakfast burrito I've ever had, and I've had a ton. I usually get the breakfast bowl, double meat, but today I grabbed a quart of their world, famous split pea soup. They make it with the same amazing smoked ham that they use and their burritos and bowls. This is the only place I ever get soup from, and it's so so delicious. Did I mention their salsa? Like everything else, it's fresh, and so so good it comes with the bowls and burritos. Hamm and Scam has been consistently excellent for years and years. The Westminster location is a regular spot, but I always hit up the beach spot if I'm anywhere near the area. One last thing, the new Long Beach location is clearly newer and fancier than the Westminster one, but what makes this place so special is the consistent quality of their excellent food, what you get for the dollars you spend, and how wonderful, charismatic, and sweet The people that work at this family own business are. read more

My boyfriend and I decided to try this spot out for breakfast. After talking to the woman taking our order i immediately knew I wanted to write a review to support this place and get the word out. 1. The kindness that radiated from this woman was so lovely. She seemed so excited about sharing the food they make with us that I got excited too! She even brought our food out for us when we were putting some stuff in the car 2. THE FOOD IS AMAZING i got the bowl and my partner got the original burrito. We both decided this is the best breakfast burrito in LB which is something we don't say casually. The salsa has the perfect amount of heat and everything was very well priced. Cannot recommend this place enough. Go support a local business and get rewarded for it through DELICIOUS food read more

SUPER cute place, the owner, Forest, was extremely helpful and kind. He gave my son a sticker and even came to the parking lot when he saw us eating our breakfast to check on us and make sure everything was to our liking. Highly recommend. First time here, and ordered the OG breakfast burrito. Honestly, it was good. I wasnt too impressed but i think next time ill try it without the veggies (bell pepper, onion) and i might ask for more hasbrown because i couldn't really taste the hashbrown. Almost forgot it was included. But the Ham really gives the burrito nice flavor and texture. Service was great, very welcoming, friendly. I was offered to try a sample of their soups and the bean soup was delicious. Very flavorful. Their burritos are a great size for the prize! Their salsa is delicious, not spicy but it definitely compliments the breakfast burrito. Looking forward to trying other items on their menu. read more

Honestly when I think of ham, my first thought is pretty unappetizing deli lunch meats- pretty boring and underwhelming. So, I was not expecting the breakfast burrito I got to be soooo delicious. It's honestly probably some of the best ham I've ever had and paired with everything else in the burrito it truly was perfection. I would 10/10 recommend trying this place if you're in the mood for just a solid no frills breakfast burrito! If you're a meat lover they also have options for double meat so you can get that too (: I also really loved the service! The cashier was super nice! read more

Yayyy!! Finally the LB location is open and I couldn't be more excited. I've been going to the Westminster spot for so long so this being down the street for me is amazing. Their breakfast bowls are amazing and filling. That spicy salsa they make is so dang good and it's the perfect touch for their bowls. That split pea soup is game changer. I always take a quart for the week, it's so good!! I love the staff here, Theyr always so sweet and I'm so happy to support such an awesome business! This spot is more of a pickup and go spot, FYI! read more

The food here is great and affordable! The owners are very nice as well. We got the breakfast burrito and bowl and both were really good. We were also offered samples of the soups -- they were good but as a word of warning, they contain ham though the names sound vegetarian-ish. There's no seating right now and I don't know if they plan to change that since it's still the early days! read more

This place is SO GOOD! I'm a hard sell with breakfast burritos, and with food costs rising, I've been disappointed recently with expensive burritos lacking flavor. For $11, I got the BEST breakfast burrito, full of generous amounts of fresh cubed ham and bacon. There's so much flavor, rather than a mound of unseasoned potatoes like most places. This is for sure my go-to spot now! I also sampled their bean and ham soup... ended up buying a quart for dinner! Again, soooo flavorful and hearty. Love this place! read more

Finally got a moment to try this place out and I was NOT disappointed. Everyone there is friendly and awesome, also the food is excellent. I got a breakfast burrito for my partner who had nothing but good things to say and one of the breakfast wraps for myself which was delicious. Nice, unpretentious breakfast burrito! Enjoyed my banter with the owner. He greeted me warmly and joked with me the whole time I waited. The coffee was fresh, the bacon crisp, the cheese melts, and the burrito filled me up without too much greasiness. Ham 'n Scram is my jam!! read more

Let's see the salsa was tasteless no spice the bacon was chunks of fat. The ham was not cooked. Well the hashbrowns were raw tasting. I would not come back here I'm scramming! Coffee taste it's a no for me. read more

I stumbled upon Ham 'n Scram while looking for a quick bite before attending my sons football practice. I had noticed it before after hours and after stopping at convenience store next door decided to try it out. I was not disappointed. I tried their most recommended breakfast burrito and was very happy. Well balanced and the ham was outstanding. Great fresh salsa as well! I also sampled the split pea and 3 bean soup. Both outstanding. The place is simple, clean, and well organized. Excellent service as well. Bottom line is that I will be back repeatedly to try everything else and let my friends know as well. The breakfast burritos are very yummy and filling. We got the original breakfast burritos and it did not disappoint. The salsa is very light and fresh. The burrito already comes with one salsa but I would recommend ordering another. They have a few other sandwich and soup options I can't wait to try, but the breakfast burritos are bomb. The decor is very minimal, kind of like their original location. There's a ton of parking in the front. The customer service was on point. The cashier (I'm thinking the owner?) was very friendly and funny. 10/10 would recommend this hole in the wall. They also have a location in Westminster which is much smaller. read more

I kid you not.... BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO IN LB! Now I know there's some bangers out here, but the family and crew running this place are on point. Everything is fresh, made to order and absolutely delicious. Served with a smile and attention to detail that a local place should strive to achieve. I would tell a non-ham loving person to go in there and get one of those bad-boys. Your life will change. We as a community should be celebrating a place like this! I ordered the original breakfast burrito. It's very bland and there were more chunks of FAT throughout the burrito than actual meat. Salsa was bland as well. By far one of the lowest tier burritos in terms of flavor, quality, and quantity. Honestly, you're better off going to the fantastics nearby for breakfast. read more

BLT 10/10. My first time here, the BLT is so good. Bacon is fresh and not salty, sandwich is not soggy at all like places who serve BLTs with grease dripping. I definitely recommend. I have been coming to ham and scram for the past year, so this review has been a year in the making lol. Sadly I'm unable to go any more due to my old age. The burritos are just amazing but for me the split pea soup and the ham muffin are the best. The first time I went with a friend, I stayed in the car because we noticed they had no sitting, and because of medical issues I can't stand for too long. My friend went in to order then came back out and told me to come in. I was a little perplexed but I followed introductions. Coming in I was greeted by one of their employees Yael. He told us to wait just a moment. He went to the back of the restaurant. When he returned he had two chairs with him and a small metal table. He set it up, We sat down and ordered. We were very close to the speaker, Yael came back and ask if the music was OK, I ask what music is that, he said regeaton,( sorry if I spelled that incorrectly loI ) he turn it down a little and I told him hell no this white old lady likes it. Food came back and I was hooked . I haven't been able to go in the past few months and I'm moving in with my daughter who lives in a different state. I wanted to have the soup and the muffin one last time before I moved. Since I'm unable to go and I don't know how to use delivery services, I called and Yael answered, to make a long story short, he delivered the food to me personally after he was off work. Before he left he told me "there is no way I'm letting you leave without having ham and scram one last time." and gave me some stickers to take with me. I'm leaving tomorrow and didn't want to go without writing this. Ham and scram is a great local place with amazing food and customer service. Driving home from work after having a bad day. I decided to stop at this place I've seen while driving home before I said to myself lets give it a shot. walking in I was greeted with the biggest smile and the music was pomping and it automatically took me away from my bad day. The guy that was working the front I believe his name is Joel, was super nice took the time to explain the menu in detail. After I order ( 2 breakfast burritos and a BLT) while waiting a few more people came in and let me tell you the costumer service in this place is just amazing. The cook was prompt and the food was just amazing. The burritos came with salsa they made themselves and it was very very very nice I should have ask for a few more. if you are looking for a bomb ass Breakfast Burrito and or just a new place to try give this place a shot. Found Ham n Scram on Yelp looking for something a little different and it did not disappoint. It's exactly what the name says--grab your food and scram (no seating), but honestly that's part of the charm. We ordered the Original Breakfast Burrito, a grilled cheese on sourdough with pepper jack, and a BLT on sourdough, and every single thing was on point. The breakfast burrito was packed and flavorful, the BLT was fresh and perfectly done, and that grilled cheese... unreal. Crispy buttery sourdough with an epic cheese pull that alone was worth the trip. You can tell they care about quality and do simple food really, really well. I was there on a Sunday to grab a ham and egg wrap . I ordered it with extra ham. I'm just disappointed because it wasn't and grill and I barely had any a cheese or ham or egg . There was somebody there before me that order 4 burritos I think I got the butt end of the deal. Because there was hardly any ingredients in my burrito.
