COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. Some of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. The staff also wears gloves when cleaning rooms and making food. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with no limited capacity. They are sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. They have pet friendly rooms. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is decent. Lots of parking spots to choose from. Take your pick. The spots are pretty big and wide. Food: I grabbed their complimentary breakfast in the morning. The food was meh. Bland really, so I grabbed a lot of salt and pepper to add some flavors to my food. They had cereal, bagels, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, pancakes, toast, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee, OJ, and milk. Hotel room: My best friend and I got two queen beds. It had a TV and mini fridge. No microwave in the room. No complimentary water in the room. The ice machine on the third floor was broken, so we had to walk down to the first floor to grab ice. It's awesome that they put two different types of pillows on the bed for the customers to choose from: a harder pillow and a super soft pillow. Also worth mentioning is that there are no complimentary toiletries (toothbrush and toothpaste) in the bathroom. The bathroom just has some towels, body lotion, conditioner, and shampoo. There was no soap in my bathroom. Hence me removing one star. I just used the shampoo as soap to wash my hands. Also, the walls in the hotel are so fricken thin. We could hear everything next door. Also, the bathroom door is a sliding door. It would make so much noise whenever we opened and closed the door. Someone needs to WD40 the door. Hence the reason why I decided to remove another star. My friend and I didn't use the pool, so I have no comments about it. Staff: The staff here are very friendly, welcoming, and kind. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

Disgusting room for the price we paid! Please avoid this hotel at all costs. It was supposed to be a romantic getaway. Not at all what we expected for the price we paid. We were put below a room of a family of elephants that believed 1am was an acceptable time to play.

No box spring under the mattress, why is it a trample, you might ask, which can hurt your already injured back...!!!

For the last year and a half, I have traveled to SoCal, and stayed at the Hampton Inn in Camarillo, numerous times. While staying here, I had always asked for a room on the first floor, and had been accommodated, as I needed a hip replacement. The room that I had always asked for is usually a 2 queen suite, FIRM Queen Beds, with couch and small sink kitchen/Fridge/microwave. Beds are up on a pedestal and Very FIRM. Well, today, my wife and I, could not be accommodated the first floor unit, as they were already filled and told, the unit on the 2nd floor was available. Well, this room is definitely, nothing like the room I've stayed in on the first floor. The bed, is barely off the floor, and the mattress is not firm, more like a TRAMPOLINE. I'm appalled at the price that I'm being charged to stay here, as, this feels like a room that Biden would put ILLEGAL ALIENS. PATHETIC!!!! Nothing, NOTHING about this is quality. I will not post this, until something is resolved. Well, I've tried resolving this and we were given a choice that didn't work for us. The room looks like everything can from a used storage shed, and I'll post the pictures, and let the chips fall. Hampton Suites has seen its better days, and I'll probably never be back. The people who work here are nice but their management sure needs more work on customer satisfaction.... Shoul If I could give it a zero, I would....

My family recently spent three nights at the Residence Inn Camarillo. It is conveniently located…read morenear Freeway 101 entrance and exits; and just a short drive from Old Town Camarillo. I booked a two-bedroom unit through the Marriott website, with each bedroom having its own vanity and full bath. The apartment had a living room and a fully equipped kitchen, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. A few days before our stay, I called with some questions and was glad to speak directly with the onsite staff instead of a call center. The front desk team was friendly and helpful both over the phone and in person. Upon arrival, check-in was quick and easy. Despite what must be a high guest turnover, the apartment was clean and well maintained. The carpets were free of stains. Despite a few minor scuffs, the furniture was clean and in good shape. The refrigerator and microwave were clean and odor-free. The hotel also serves a simple breakfast each morning, with hot options like waffles, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and oatmeal, plus cold items like yogurt, cereal, fruit, and breads, along with coffee, tea, and juices.

I was hesitant to book a room at the Holiday Inn Express in Camarillo because of the poor reviews…read moreit's received in the past. However, my gf and I had a pleasant time there! Check in was quick and easy. The front desk receptionist, who I assume was fairly new, was really nice! I requested a late check out and she gave us an extra hour which was super helpful after a long day before our departure. Later that night, the water machine had to be refilled and she offered us 2 free water bottles instead of having us wait. Really nice! The jacuzzi was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and VERY spacious... the pillows were also comfortable! One thing I would recommend they do is, ensure that the alarm clocks are reset/turned off before a new guest checks in. The alarm did wake us up at around 7 am, we never set it! The housekeepers and the staff were also very nice :) The breakfast was a hit as well! They had plenty of options AND a cool pancake machine! Lastly, I want to shout them out for having a non dairy milk option. I have never seen that at any other hotel, so I'm also upset given I'm allergic to milk. That was great! Thank you, would recommend

ROOM: I got a double queen room and it was very spacious…read more The beds were clean and comfortable. The room including the bathroom was clean. The room did not have an odd or strong chemical smell. The room came with a TV, coffee maker, safe, mini fridge and microwave; all in working conditions. Water pressure was great. The only complaint was in another room that we got moved to - because we decided to extend last minute, some of the usb outlets were not working. Other than that, the room fit all our needs for our trip. The amenities include a pool, hot tub, breakfast, wifi, gym and a guest laundry. They do sell some OTC medications, snacks and microwaveable foods next to the front desk and they call it "the market". Very convenient. SERVICE: The service is what led me to give a 5 star. The room itself would have been a 3-4 star but the service was great. This branch had amazing staff who greeted you with a smile from the lobby, breakfast bar or just simply in the hallways. We felt so welcomed which made the experience even better. The front desk agents were knowledgeable and super accommodating to our questions or requests. The staff that helps prep the breakfast bar were so attentive and was even willing to wait after we're done with our plates. Quick service with refills and clean up. Just top notch service. Overall, the service at this place set a standard for other similar hotels or other Holiday Inn hotels. Plenty of parking in a well lit lot. The amenities and the room were reasonable for the price. I would definitely stay at this branch again whenever I'm in the area visiting family.

Location is amazing!! Amenities are great! We enjoyed our stay here. We enjoyed the spa at night…read more The spa is the size of a small pool. The pool is also heated. Main courtyard is full of activity. They offer beach workout and yoga in the morning on the lawn facing the beach. No breakfast included so we bought a $20 breakfast burrito at Sugar Beats which is an Airstream in the middle of a courtyard by the spa. The coffee in the room was good so I had that. They offer surrey rentals to use on the bike path in front of the resort. They have a small but well equipped fitness center. Couple of issues: ants in the bathroom, completely empty shower gel and sink had drainage issues.

I really wanted to love this place because our stay started off so strong. The hotel is beautiful,…read moreour room was lovely, and the staff we initially encountered were wonderful. Unfortunately, that level of service did not continue throughout our stay. While I'll be leaving a separate review for Ox & Ocean, our dining experience there was disappointing and involved long waits, food quality issues, and multiple billing errors that took significant time to resolve. Unfortunately, the billing issues did not stop there. Upon reviewing our folio, we discovered valet parking charges despite self-parking for the entirety of our stay. When I called to question the charge, I was told a "gentleman" had provided my room number. This was a girls' trip--there was no gentleman in our group. Even more frustrating was being told it was "only a $5 difference." Incorrect charges are incorrect charges, regardless of the amount. On checkout day, we were awakened at 7:30 AM by someone knocking repeatedly on our door despite having a Do Not Disturb sign clearly displayed. When I answered, I was asked whether we had requested baggage assistance. We had not. The pool area also seemed understaffed. The chair numbering system intended to help staff locate guests appeared ineffective, and there were extended periods where no pool towels were available. I watched several guests ask staff where towels could be found, only to discover the stations were empty. Staff would apologize but no solution was offered. I eventually had to pull towels from unused reserved cabanas because none were available elsewhere. The biggest disappointment is that none of these issues were related to the property itself. The hotel is beautiful, the room was great, and the spa was phenomenal. Our massages were incredible, and every member of the spa team was kind, professional, and welcoming. Unfortunately, repeated service failures, billing mistakes, and poor follow-through overshadowed what could have been a great stay. A luxury hotel should not require guests to spend hours of their vacation correcting billing errors, tracking down servers, and chasing management for answers.
