Same old good tasting foods here, the portion is definitely smaller for sure and the prices are getting more costly. But, here you feel like eating at home with good old felling and at ease. Great, nice and friendly plus fast service. The place is still the same as 4-5-6 yrs ago, but still clean and neat. Parking is easy, either in parking lot of their own or street parking. Still enjoy and love this place.

Has been a while since last time that i came here but after i got an order ( spicy pork bone soup, mixed dumpling and spicy cold noodle) every dishes taste super good. Service was nice and friendly. Restaurant inside clean and comfy also parking provided at the back. Overall 10 out of 10 Love this place.

Huge portions! Came here Friday evening for dinner and ordered two noodle dishes and Seafood pancake as an appetizer. The pancake was thicker than I've had in the past, but still delicious. Seafood flat noodle was tasty and came with generous helping of crab. Owner was the server and very attentive. A little pricey but have lots of leftovers.

I can only speak for the dish i ordered, and was not impressed at all!!! I had the spicy beef noodle soup. It came in a large bowl, but there was barely any beef; it wasn't spicy, and the broth tasted watered down similar to the ramen soup you'd make at home when you use too much water. Perhaps the other options are better...Service was friendly.

I cant even count how many times I have been here this summer. This is where you can find classic, korean, homey food. Not many side dishes, but the food always tastes great. Just look at the pork neck tower for that soup! Can you believe that's one serving? The non spicy rice cakes is not that common of a menu option for a lot of korean restaurants, but it definitely is delicious. The pork bulgogi and cold noodle combo is never a miss and so yummy. There are definitely better places for the blood sausage, and I have mixed feelings about the taste of the new paik beer. But this place makes me feel like I'm back in Korea and my grandmas house and I love it! It definitely gets busy during peak lunch hours at times, so be patient with the waitresses! They are so kind and lovely.

I went with a spicy beef noodle soup and it did not disappoint! Talk about homemade quality and good ingredients! Total hole in the wall joint, but full of authenticity. I enjoyed everything from the atmosphere, to the service and especially the food. This is by far the best beef noodle soup I have ever had the pleasure of having. I rate the Old Time Noodle House a solid five stars!

Spicy Pork Bone Stew

Hidden gem for authentic Korean gamjatang aka spicy pork bone stew. My good friend recommended the restaurant, and once I walked in and saw the random checkered table covers that you see at traditional Italian restaurants, I knew the food was going to be good. They are known for the gamjatang, which comes out as a mountain of meat and vegetables. The servers are nice and attentive. The gamjatang does not lack with the protein portions, and the banchan such as the kimchi cool off the stew. The soup and dumplings were delicious! You come here for the authentic food, not the ambiance. Not to say the vibes are not on point, just an older restaurant as implied in the name, serving quality Korean comfort food. We left happy and full, and I will continue to enjoy traditional Korean dishes here!

Pretty good kimchi, has a little kick

This is a great spot for noodles, went there on a whim at lunch time and it wasn't that packed which was great for me. Gives me the hidden gem vibes. No AC but they had a lot of fans going to keep it cool. The parking lot is a bit small so trying to take advantage of its hidden gem before it gets hard to find parking. I like the kimchi, decently spicy which I love. I probably wouldn't get the blood sausage again since it was pretty pricy (although they give you a lot). Prices are reasonable, portions are massive. I went by myself to scope it out before telling friends and I had to get a Togo box because it was just way too much food. Will definitely go again for the kalguksu, saw another table eating that.

Old Noodle Soup

We had the 1/2 Kimchee dumplings and half pork dumplings, the 2 Color Dough Flake Soup and the Old Time Noodle. The dumplings and the dipping sauce was delicious! The Dough Flake soup was served in a pot and the soup was very tasty, but after awhile the dough became quite filling and it became a bit overwhelming. The noodle dish was good, but the soup was not quite as tasty as the Dough Flake Soup. Next time I would like to try the lunch boxes. Parking is located in the back of the restaurant.

Nice small place, we came by on a saturday night and it was a quaint area and wasn't too busy. we tried their pork bone stew, tteobokki, and spicy cold noodle dish, they were all very delicious with great portions and prices. would definitely come again.

Went there again last night with friend. It was little crowded but we able to sit down. We went for dinner and they served food quick. Waitress and the boss were very friendly. Always smile and polite. We like the whole environment. Food was really good. We order the small pork bone soup and we finished it them! Very delicious..

Blow your mind.

My mom and I were craving Korean food around the area so we stopped by this restaurant. We shared…read moretheir galbijjim and the portion size was enormous for the two of us. There was so much meat in this dish we had leftovers for the following nights. It comes with meat, chewy glass noodles, rice cake, potato, sweet potato, carrot, and pumpkin! The banchan was also really good we had to ask for extra. Everything here tasted super delicious and authentic! I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem.

So this is my honest experience of this restaurant from my visit today at dinner time…read more It's not good. It about 60% full. Our food was mediocre at best. We ordered the galbi combo with spicy tofu. Soup was under seasoned and inedible. The galbi was the cheapest flaken cut you can buy at the Korean market. Its was fatty and full of gristle and was not cooked and was raw in the middle. The staff in Korean were bad mouthing and so sour working there it was sad. If you under staffed and unhappy then go to the back and scream and cuss but Why are you so sour and make sure the customers can hear you while passing by with the food and complain it's too busy ? There was one elderly lady maybe in her 80s with possibly her two daughters. They were sitting there for at least 45 minutes when the waitress came up and said I just want to double check your order that's when they realized that the waitress didn't even put their order in they were saying in Korean that please don't leave. Granny is here and we will get the food out as soon as possible and yet as they were leaving the table, you can see them with a smirk on their face. It was disgusting. The worst part is isn't actually even over there must've been a table of 20 across from us celebrating a birthday and they were there before we were and they must have been served at least an hour after us and the waitresses were so rude to them. I felt so bad for that party, but they looked so laid-back. I don't know if they really even noticed or cared. We ended up trying to pay for 10 minutes to get out of there and finally just got our own containers from the weight station a plastic bag and as they saw that we were leaving they finally took our payment Maybe this was an off night maybe there was a different cook in the back maybe they were so busy that they just couldn't pay attention to flavor any of their food or cook it thoroughly. Maybe they were short and someone called in for staffing. All I know is everyone with the prior reviews seem to have great service and food, but this is definitely not what we experienced and definitely not what the table behind us or the table in front of experienced This was by far hands-down, the worst experience. Hopefully this never happens to you cause we'll never come back.

My date and I were craving some long overdue Korean BBQ and we were in the perfect area to grab…read moresome. We gave this place a try because we were excited to see they have Rice Wine here (since most of the mainstream KBBQ places didn't have this), and we were satisfied beyond our expectations. Parking: A very small dim lot next to the restaurant. Right below the small sign that sits above it. Ambience: We came on a Saturday night (7:00pm) expecting busy wait times but we called in and there was no wait! We were immediately seated. It's a very small restaurant, the booths are big enough to fit a family but bigger parties may need to call in to see if space is available. The vibes are especially different from most bigger and popular places but this qualifies as a hidden gem for sure. Service: Quick and nice! Second time coming to a place where they cook it for you at some points and serve you. They check on you often enough and were quick to see you get all that you ordered. Food: Absolutely nothing I've never had before, we knew we wanted brisket and pork belly, we skipped out on the combos + intestine sections bc of this. Luckily our two meat combo qualified us to also receive a soybean paste soup, steamed egg, and corn cheese for free! We additionally added rice paper to our order for a small charge. The menu is vast and I would like to come back here to try their different meats. I have never had a more flavorful brisket in my KBBQ experience before and the pork belly was thick enough and had that chewiness texture that made it so enjoyable. Employee was nice enough to inform us that the soup + steamed egg are carefully cooked with real flavorful ingredients, so expect high-quality. We didn't go into this place expecting AYCE since we believe places that offer à la carte specializes in quality, so please come with the same idea if you choose to go here! Regardless, our small bodies were filled by how much food we received! Overall, I gave this place a chance despite its smaller reviews, smaller atmosphere, and a generally smaller presence this had in comparison to its competitors. I would suggest you do the same too!

Banchan - 4/5, salad, kimchi jeon, onions, soy bean sprouts, mac salad, cucumber kimchi, spicy fried chicken Premium beef brisket - 5/5, ACTUALLY very high quality and had a good amount of fattiness Intestines combo (only large intestines) - 5/5, includes a deonjang soup, steamed egg, and corn cheese. You can choose up to 3 intestines for the combo, but I only wanted daechang. I loved how they prepared it and it was also cooked with onions, garlic, potato, and rice cakes!!! Cons: - Mosquitos in the restaurant - I'm surprised you need to order kimchi and it wasn't part of the banchan

We ordered the xiao long bao, broccoli beef, beef rolls, and chicken chow mein. The xiao long bao was excellent with a good amount of soup in each dumpling, and the beef rolls were probably my favorite item, especially dipped in a mix of black vinegar and soy sauce. The broccoli beef had a nice flavor, though I wished it had a little more meat. The chicken chow mein was the weakest dish for me: the noodle texture was great, but the overall flavor didn't stand out as much as I expected. Ordering was easy and the menu was very approachable thanks to the pictures. The restaurant is on the smaller side, which actually made it easier to get a server's attention when needed. Food also came out pretty quickly. The ambiance is straightforward and comfortable -- nothing fancy, just a solid neighborhood restaurant. Because it's small, you may have to wait if it gets busy, but tables seemed to turn over quickly thanks to the fast service. One practical tip: the portion sizes are bigger than they look. We had a table for two and ended up with dishes crowding the table pretty quickly. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back.

They're typically very busy when we go on a weekday night. But once we got seated, service was fine. I usually get the pork wontons with chili oil. It's flavorful and it's actually not really spicy.
