I reallllly wish I could give this place 0 Stars, but I'm stuck with 1!
Got this deal off of Living Social. Not sure exactly what the price was-- I think it was $22 for a 70 minute massaged, which is reasonably priced so I took a chance. I called last week to schedule an appointment and the receptionist was nearly impossible to work with.
I said, "I would like to schedule an appointment for Friday (it was Tuesday when I called) at 4:00 PM, please".
She said, "Umm, can you come at 4:30PM?"
I said, "No, I cannot, sorry."
She said, "Ummmmm, can you come at 4:15?"
I, partly not wanting to negotiate with her anymore, reluctantly said "Okay". Then, I said that I would please like to have two female masseuses. She didn't acknowledge my request. Then said, "Which services would like?" I said, "two 70 Minute Foot Massage and Foot Soaks" (I was hesitant to say that I had a Living Social Deal as I felt like there would be another speed bump I would have to deal with while setting this appointment). However, she obviously knew I had a Deal and said, "Living Social?". I had no choice but to say "yes". Then came the interesting part-- she said that she did not have two female masseuses available on Friday... she only had one and would be able to give me one female masseuse (thereby admitting that she indeed heard my initial request, but instead failed to acknowledge it until she knew if I was a "Full Paying" customer OR "Living Social Customer"). I then said that I would probably just ask for a refund from Living Social as I already had to deal with two stipulations that were not listed on the Deal Itself. I honestly would have been fine if there were something stated to these sorts on the Deal before I purchased, but there was not, so I felt like they were kind of overstepping their grounds. When I said I would ask for a refund, she very rudely said, "Fine. Ask for A Refund. That's fine! Bye" and hung up on me.
Okay... maybe she was having a bad day? I let it go.
Unbeknownst to me, a girlfriend of mine went to that same location on Friday EVENING with her boyfriend and got a massage. I guess there is a back entrance to the building and when you enter that way, you need to pass through the laundry room and break room and whatnot. When I found out she went, I asked if she saw any female masseuses on sight-- turns out, there were at least five females that she saw with her own two eyes and she was able to receive two female masseuses during her and her boyfriend's massage! Wow! Really? I thought you only had one female working the entire day?
I STILL didn't ask for a refund. I instead decided to try today to make an appointment AGAIN.
I called (this time a man answered) and said that I would please like to set an appointment for 6:00PM this Friday (again, it's Tuesday). The man said, "What about 6:30?" I already knew where this was going... so I agreed. Then he asked which services I would like... I repeated my desired services and said that I had a Living Social Deal to redeem. He said "Oh, you can only make appointments in Morning or Afternoon". I said, "I can't do that-- I work and that time is most convenient for me". I said, "If I come in the afternoon, may I please have two female masseuses?" He said, "I give you one only". At that point, I told him that it was as if he was refusing to honor my Living Social Deal as he was setting up all these obstacles that I had to jump over-- first 6:30 instead of 6:00, then appointment in the morning or afternoon once I said I had a Living Social Deal, AND THEN only supplying me with one female masseuse when it's obvious that they have more than one on site. He said, "I will honor the deal, just make appointment in Morning or Afternoon". At that point, I had already had it.
I called Living Social and asked for a Refund. If this place really wants to have all of these stipulations, then they need to be listed on the actual deal itself! It's really absurd that I have to deal with receptionist after receptionist basically denying me it's services just because I have a coupon that allows me to experience their services at a cheaper price! I'm assuming they did the deal with Living Social as they wanted to increase their customer base... Welp, I can definitely assure you (Happy Feet Massage on Colorado and any other potential Happy Feet Massage Customers) that I will NEVER attend this facility, buy any sorts of Deals or Groupons from them (no matter the price... I'm serious... not even for $0.01!), nor will I recommend this place to my friends and family.
Coming from a person who gets about three to four 60 minute massages each month, they definitely lost my potential $1080 for the entire year! They need a message from a person with an MBA Graduate Degree... Loyal customers account for up to 80% of a companies revenue! Guess I won't be contributing towards that! :) Good Luck satisfying AND keeping your other customers! read more
