Their food is consistently the same no matter how busy it is, most recently during a heavy dinner hour - prime time. Yes, expect to wait, we started the 30 plus wait time out side and then inside in the small waiting area. It's not fancy by any means. TVs with a game on, servers moving about, and a steady stream of to go orders. We had King Pao Chicken, Beef with broccoli and Mongolian Beef. Also Wongs fried rice & appetizer plate and soups. I had hot & sour soup, absolutely delicious, a little spicy as it should be. My Mongolian Beef was probably the best prepared, very tender beef and flavorful I've had, and always consistently the same each visit. The other entrees severed were equally flavorful, tender meats and served fresh & hot. Servers are kind and knowledgeable of each dish and offer suggestions of their favorites. The seating area is in need of updating but very clean, as are the restrooms. But it's about the quality, quantity & consistency that keeps me returning. Just go!

The restaurant across the street on the Fry's plaza used to have the best hot and sour soup until they changed owners so it was going to be hard for them to beat regardless. Orange Chicken - I don't think any of us expected it to come out this way so it was a surprise. Was a pleasant surprise? Ehh. It's probably my least favorite orange Chicken in the valley. The food is consistently outstanding, and the warm, attentive service keep us coming back time and time again. On this visit, we ordered the sautéed whole lobster with green onions and ginger, beef lo mein, shrimp lo mein, walnut shrimp, and fried rice. Every dish was prepared beautifully and packed with flavor, but the lobster was truly divine. Perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and infused with the aromatic flavors of fresh ginger and green onions, it was one of those dishes that leaves a lasting impression long after the meal is over. The beef and shrimp lo mein were equally delicious, with rich savory flavors and generous portions, while the walnut shrimp was perfectly crisp with a delicate sweetness that balanced the dish beautifully. The fried rice was the perfect complement to everything on the table. We also enjoyed a few sake bombers, which are hands down the best we've had anywhere. They are always perfectly prepared and have become a must-order whenever we visit. They pair wonderfully with the food and add an extra touch of fun to an already fantastic dining experience. What truly sets China Chili apart is its consistency. Whether it's your first visit or your hundredth, you can always count on exceptional food, attentive service, and genuine hospitality. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and always makes us feel like valued guests.

It's probably the fanciest Chinese restaurant I've been to in AZ. The lunch menu is excellent and quite impressive! There are 8 entrees to choose along with a side for only $20. What's crazy is that a full size seafood and wagyu beef belly jjampong is a side! They're regularly $24 so it's a crazy deal to get an additional entree!! We ordered seafood jjampong and wagyu beef jjampong as sides and genghis khan beef and chili garlic fried chicken as mains. The jjampong had that great umami taste without the oiliness that's unavoidable at other restaurants. The ingredients felt very premium and fresh. Ghengis khan beef pieces were very generous and tender with a savory sauce. Chili garlic chicken was a tad salty for me but had great crisp. Service was impeccable and one you'd expect from an upscale restaurant. I can't wait to go back to try other dishes from the lunch menu. I also want to try their happy hour that's available everyday from 4-7PM. All the food items are only $7 and variety looks amazing.

Nothing to jump up and down about. We wanted to come back because the atmosphere was laid back and relaxing. This visit, we felt rushed. It was 5:00 on a Saturday! Everything was rushed: place your order! (We need a few minutes please); you ready now? (Sigh. Sure.). We ordered mongolean beef, veggie egg foo yung, and shrimp with walnuts. The shrimp was excellent. Very early in our meal they were persistent in clearing our table. (we're still working on that); when they picked up the last few plates plates the server had our check in her hand. By golly she wanted us out of there! (Um, we kinda wanted another glass of wine...). Why? The place wasn't packed. Why the rush? The food is fine, as I mentioned, but the vibe was off for us. I "might" understand wanting to turn our booth if there was a wait for tables, but that was not the case. Will we return? Maybe for lunch or for something to go. The food is decent here and their hot mustard is delightfully potent.

Gotta support local when you can I say! The menu is pretty basic and has all your typical options for Americanized Chinese food. Wanting to get something that had noodles in it, I opted for the combination #1 which has chow mein crispy noodles, pork fried rice, and two tempura shrimp. Quite a lot of food and for a very reasonable price! I think the combo was around $10. If you are a fan of bean sprouts, this is your place. The chow mein had a massive pile of beansprouts on top. The noodles were indeed crispy but they was such a meager portion compared to the beansprouts. The fried rice was pretty basic but also a generous portion and the two tempura shrimp had a nice crispy batter. I tried some of the eggroll too which is one of the most unique versions I've had since the super crispy outer layer was either a different preparation or different wrap material than I'm used to. The interior was made primarily of beansprouts too. Service was good. Our food was prepared fairly quickly.

I have dined here on four separate occasions and take all my dear loved ones here, every single time leaving feeling happy with a full, satisfied belly. Lom Wong is the first name that pops up in my head when recommending a favorite restaurant in the Valley. Lom Wong is what I will be naming my first-born child. My first visit was back in 2023 on June 10, the day my life changed for the better. They have a creative menu with seasonal changes that no other Thai restaurant can do. If you're looking for a pad thai, look somewhere else and please expand your horizons. I have tried almost every dish here and two things I will always order is their green mango salad and crab curry. I prefer mango over papaya, and it is the most perfect, refreshing salad I have ever had. The mango is always fresh, and the toasted coconut and peanuts on top pair so well with the lime and fish sauce. The stir-fried crab curry is extremely impressive with their generous portion of crab meat and fragrant turmeric curry. A few other dishes I highly recommend are their beef shank curry, seabass curry, and the stir-fried Tom Yum wide noodles. You really can't go wrong with any of the dishes here! I will be coming back to try the fried whole branzino. We've tried arai kodai, which is their chef's choice option and they personalize the meal for you based on your preferences and group size. Every dish they brought out was unique and so so good. For $55 per person, we thought this was great value considering how full we got and the variety of dishes we were able to try (including some that were off-menu). I also love that they promote eating family-style here and bring out all the dishes as they're ready - exactly how food is meant to be enjoyed. The ambiance is amazing for a special occasion or date night. It will for sure impress. Come here if you want a solid, just incredible meal from amazing people who are passionate about their food! Finally got to try Lom Wong after hearing so many praises and recommendations from others…read more Unfortunately, for us, it was incredibly bland and underwhelming. I really want to believe it was a fluke. Rushing to get food out quickly to mimic Thai street food is not desirable when quality is sacrificed and the customer is paying almost $40 for a plate.. I will say the food came out within minutes of ordering. Our server was nice and patient. I needed some extra time to look over the menu and he didn't rush us to order even though he was very busy. The food was so lackluster and it pains me to say that about a Thai restaurant. Every dish was just missing something, whether it was some spicy or citrus. Every dish was very one dimensional. The Boo Pad Pong Garee, or stir fried crab curry, was dry and underwhelming. It was missing spice for me. There were huge chunks of crab though. The Naem Khao Tawt, or crispy rice salad, may have been my favorite bite of the night. It had a great balance of textures and flavors. It was refreshing and helped cut through some of the dryness of the crab curry. I loved the cured pork sausage. Tom Yum Haeng Sen Yai, or the stir fried flat rice noodles with squid, wasn't terrible. I love flat rice noodles and they had the distinct char that you would get from wok cooking. Loved that. The flavors overall weren't bad. Just again, underwhelming and lacked a good balance of flavors. I would have liked more spice, citrus, and umami. We did not care for the creme brûlée duo. The hibiscus one was soooooo intensely sour that it was almost inedible. It was very bright though. The lemongrass one reminded me too much of a savory lemongrass soup that I couldn't enjoy it. Some of the spiel and verbiage that the team had was a little pretentious and awkward. I saw them "kindly" kicking out a table for sitting past their reservation time. I've never ever seen a restaurant do that before. Really not that bad but really not worth the $20-$40 price tags either. I'm open to coming back and trying other dishes. I really think I may have came on a bad night.
