There is currently a buy two get one free hotpot deal that comes out to $27 per person (including tax and tip) for 3 ppl. The deal is based on original price not the discount price they list. We did the deluxe hot pot which is the bar ayce and meat ayce. We got the yin yang soup, the spicy wasnt too spicy and very flavorful, and the normal bone was very rich. We ordered mostly fatty beef, lamb, and the lean beef. They were all delicious. And the cold bar ayce was nice too, most notably, the shrimp was delicious, and the assortment of fish balls and veggies were fresh. I thought it was well worth $27. read more

We got the original broth and it is a comfortably rich soup. This is quite a good value venue - with the quality of food and the price point it gives an amazing hotpot lunch or dinner when you feel like getting one. Actually my favorite hot pot place in flushing. Broth is extremely important in hot pot and little sheep definitely has the most flavorful broth! Their meat quality is good and they have a wide variety of selections. They usually will let you know when the kitchen is about to close if you go late but I've stayed past closing before to finish the meal and they've been very nice about it! One thing is they only do all you can eat deals occasionally so if you go when they don't have the deal available you definitely will end up spending more here compared to other AYCE places. I've been to a couple Happy Lamb hotpots in the Cambridge/Boston area in MA. This Happy Lamb falls a bit short in comparison to some of its other locations but still an amazing place to get hotpot with family and friends. I'm disappointed this location didn't have the curry soup base which is available at some happy lamb locations! I also feel like they lacked enough noodle options. As for the ambiance, the interior of the restaurant is beautiful and extremely cozy. We came in at 4pm on a Sunday and we were seated relatively quickly. I love this place most of the time. The food is self serve and the broth is really nice, however charging 2 dollars for enoki mushrooms now, is absolutely ridiculous. I paid for an all you can eat buffet, however out of everything, enoki mushrooms aren't included? The service is normally pretty nice and okay however the wait time was horrible. I queued up first, they came after and submitted a waitlist number. They had a bigger family and took two tables however they got sat first. I didn't speak mandarin like them and the staff. One of our favorite places for hot pot! We like their selection of meats and usually get the beef/lamb combo along with their pork belly. We also get corn, bok choy, potatoes and noodles. I love the spicy soup but it gets spicier as it cooks so we usually get half spicy and half traditional soup base. One of the things I really enjoy is their dipping sauce station where you can make whatever mix you'd like. Their mochi is absolutely delicious and great end to the meal. It's clean and food is good for decent prices, but less variety than other hotpot places around in Flushing! But if you get seated in the side area/room I would ask to change seats to the main area. That little area/room has no windows (only an ac unit in the wall) so it gets very humid and no ventilation so your clothes will smell ALOT more. Service was slow since they kinda forgot to check in on us since we were in that little area. read more

Tried to go but they wouldn't accept my service dog without a registration that costs over $125 dollars and isn't required by the ADA. They're violating the ADA and the staff didn't care. They literally said "I don't care"when I shared the actual ADA law and registration is not required from the government website. read more

Oh my.... The decor is beautiful and is nicely lit. We we seated rather quickly. Our server never introduced himself (a sort of peeve of mine) but his tag read Andy and he was nice enough. The way this Hot Pot works...you check off what you want on a paper menu and the server goes over it to make sure you havent ordered too much food. For our base we ordered the half & half [spicy/milk broth]. Mind you..spicy is SPICY...so if that's not your thing...don't order it.  The food was good, however my only complaint is that they didn't bring out everything together, so I didn't get my glass noodles or my bok choy until the end of the meal, which  was kind of a moot point by the time it arrived.  What I did like is, unlike Hometown Hot Pot, the server refreshed our base with MORE BASE...so it remained spicy and flavorful until the end of our meal    Other than that, it was a great experience and we will be returning with out of town friends. read more

Both the broths are full of herbs and spices which gives them depth and a rich taste. Ingredients here are always fresh. The sauces in the sauce station are pretty basic as the flavors of the broths are already so strong. While it is located in the heart of Flushing, the interior is modern with a cozy ambiance. Little Sheep (LSMHP) is one of the better hot pots in the area. The ingredients are quality, the broth is rich and the staff replenish your hot pot with broth, not water. I first tried Little Sheep in the frigid New York winter around their first opening at this location, and waited roughly 2-3 hours. It was so cold and we were so hungry! By the time we sat down, we over ordered so much and feasted! We had the yin yang pot: creamy bone broth on one side and the spicy Sichuan peppers on the other side. We ordered enough for 5 people and ate for 2 hours! We had so much leftovers, we boxed 3 pints of food and broth! This latest visit was less gluttonous but remained delicious. We walked with 4 other friends here. I was worried because the last visit resulted in a ridiculous wait. However, in the summer around 6pm, we sat down right away! We had fish balls, lamb, beef, beef balls, shrimp with heads on, shrimps deveined, oyster mushrooms, udon noodles, glass noodles and more. LSMHP has a sauce station towards the back to make your favorite hot pot sauces. I like how clean the staff keeps it. I love the yuzu ponzu sauce. My favorite were the head-on shrimps and beef balls. The shrimps were fresh and briny. The beef balls had two varieties: house made and store bought. The store bought ones are actually better because they have a great texture and they don't take so long to cook. It was so filling and the noodles at the end soaked up the delicious broth! I had a wonderful time! And it seemed like everyone enjoyed their meal! The plates of hot pot ingredients are pay per item, making your total bill about $10 more pp than the usual AYCE hotpot. This was the first HotPot establishment I have ever visited, and everything was perfect until the end: The Positives: 1) I'll start off by saying that the ambience of the restaurant is very welcoming and the interior decor is beautiful. The booths were spacious and the floors/walls/tables/ etc. were clean. 2) The broths were very flavorful (I had the Half&Half). The seafood was fresh and delicious, and according to my table the lamb and beef were a must get. The Negatives: 1) Although the waitresses were pleasant, they frequently forgot to bring my table food items, even after being asked multiple times. (My side order of rice came towards the end, when I was already almost finished eating). 2) After eating, my table paid the bill with cash only using larger bills, and had to wait over 15 minutes (after alerting the waitress) for a receipt and change back. The waitress was shocked when I asked for the change back and hesitated. I always leave tips whenever I go out to a restaurant, even if the service was a little shaky because I understand how demanding waitressing can be. However, I felt that it was disrespectful to hold on to a significant amount of change and make the assumption that you can keep it. In the many other restaurants I've visited, the change is returned and I get to personally thank the waitress and give them the $10/$15/$20 back as a tip. I decided not to leave a tip because of this interaction and as my table and I leave, we are CHASED DOWN by a younger guy working there who explicitly asks us "No Tip?!!". I don't know if this was cultural, just common to this restaurant, or if we were being racially discriminated as people who wouldn't leave tips, but I hope they get to view this review and reflect. If you are going for the biggest bang for your buck, I know some people prefer all-you-can-eat spots elsewhere in the city. However, I think the price point here is still decent given the food. The restaurant is also handling COVID extremely well. The sauce station had sanitizers next to it, and a sneeze guard above all the sauces. I saw all staff wearing masks at all times. We got the half-half broth and chose the tomato and original bone marrow broth. Both were savory and delicious. We had ordered 2 platters of beef thinking the portions sizes would be modest, but when they came, we were shocked to see how large the quantities were instead (see pic). Had an amazing lunch here on a Saturday. It was empty since we walked in as they opened. I've got to say, this place has upgraded since my last dining here (before they changed to Happy Lamb). They have an impressive sauce bar with all the sauces you'd find at a hot pot spot. Their broths are very flavorful and delicious and their fatty beef is melt-in-your-mouth tender. (Thinly sliced, just the way I love them). They would've definitely received a 5 star review for me only if it wasn't for the fact that they didn't have either enoki (re-called by supplier(?)) or watercress on the menu, as they are my go to picks. Yet again, I return for more delicious-ness. This place is awesome, with fresh ingredients and impeccably attentive service, I always recommend this hot spot. Luckily I arrived early on this busy Saturday night. I met up with friends from the city just to enjoy this with. We got there at 6:30 and scored one of the last four tables open. Phew! As always, cool freebie snacks and a refreshing passion fruit iced tea upon entering the restaurant. This is nice of the restaurant to do in the event you have to wait for a table. As with my last experience, this place doesn't disappoint. And I've sampled new stuff yet again. Try the white potato noodle. It's good. Looks clear when it's cooked. Neat trick for the kids. I felt that although they have many of the sauces you would normally see at hot pot, they were missing peanut sauce! When I asked for peanut sauce the waiter gave me a bit of peanut butter to mix with my sauces. The Fuzhou fish balls were not tasty compared to other places I've been to. Seafood and beef were good quality and on par with other hot pot places. Overall service was very good..they refilled our pots regularly and beverages were always full. We left with 10% tip, which I think is more than enough for self serving food, and a young guy chased me asking for more tip. He was asking for 20%.
