My husband and I came here last week for a dinner date. It was clean, spacious, and had friendly staff. We decided to order the spicy and mushroom broth. I really liked the flavors of both. I wanted the mushroom broth to be spicy so I just added some of the spicy herbal broth over and it was good for me. I really like the quality of the waygu meats but it's a bummer it's limited to 1 order per person. I always felt like the board of the wagyu brisket being considered 2 ordered was small. The lamb shank wasn't an option when we came before so my husband wanted to try it. He said it was really good but I little on the fatty side. I really enjoy the shrimp paste balls here. I ate like 10 of them. I also enjoyed the addition of spicy basil fried rice. It's not good for kids but great for adults. They had a few dessert options and you always get 1 scoop of ice cream with your meal. There was vanilla and chocolate when we went. I also love that the drinks are included in the price. The lemonade was really good. Definitely a place to try if you enjoy hot pot.
The food from my experience were thin lean meat. I like that they have a variety of meat options which are beef, pork, chicken, and lamb. You usually won't find all 4 options at every hotpot location. You can pick 1 hotpot soup or half half (2 hotpot soup). The menu is divided into classic and premium each with their lunch and dinner option when I went. Drinks come with the meal which are in the veggies and snack aisle. The service was responsive. I also like the ambiance. They have decent decor. Note, I went here with a buddy during their anniversary special. A few dollars discount. The wait wasn't too long in the afternoon. Overall, I recommend the place.
The service was decent. It was a busy day, but they did check up on my table occasionally. I wished they wipe down the counter for the self serve area more often granted it was pretty busy. The broth was very salty. The sauce was also very salty. I ended up not using the dipping sauce because of how salty the broth was, so when the meat was cooked it became very salty. We got the Spicy House Special and the Mushroom Broth. My favorite meat cut would have to be the beef. For drinks you can either get the soda or juices. For the hot food you can grab, my favorite item would have to be the egg roll.
When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't very busy so we were able to get seated right away. They offer a variety of options, including appetizers, vegetables, and seafood. We chose the deluxe option so we got a variety of meat as well. They also have a self-serve drink fountain and hot tea was available upon request. The broth and the meat quality was okay, but I was disappointed that they didn't have bok choy, which is one of my favorite hot pot vegetables. On the plus side, the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was an okay experience and I'd be open to going again when I'm in the area. 3.5/5
Mid 3. Missed a few things to be a 4 star. Came here for lunch @ $22. (+) Variety of 'beef' for lunch is limited but the quality is good. (+) Veggies, hot pot items, and seafood was good (+) Service is solid (-) Soup base is extremely salty (=) Sauces, which is important for shabu is good, but their ponzu was extremely salty (--) A few items such as chicken wings, pad see ew AND dessert was empty and not replenished the entire time we were there for lunch (12:45 to 1:30). Why even served it if you're not going to keep a fresh or replenish it?
I've been to other happy lamb locations that I liked but I didn't enjoy my meal here as much as I expected Broth was just ok. We tried most of the meat options and there were a good amount that I didn't really like, which was surprising to me since I'm not a particularly picky eater. There was an ok amount of sides that you can get at the self serve bar but they weren't super memorable in my opinion
Haven't been to this chain since it was still Little Sheep (小肥羊), and with a huge upgrade, the place is much nicer than I remember. The ingredient bar had a ton of choices, from fresh vegetables and mushrooms to noodles, tofu, fish balls, and other hot pot staples. I also liked that they had plenty of hot side dishes, which is great if you're dining with kids or just want something to snack on while waiting for your meat to cook. Everything tasted fresh, and the meats were good quality. The broth choices were flavorful without being overly salty, and they kept everything at the buffet stocked throughout our meal. Amy was our server and she was awesome. She was friendly, attentive, and had us laughing by saying "thank you" in a bunch of different languages. Better atmosphere, lots of variety, fresh ingredients, and great service make it an easy choice for a weekday lunch too!
Went here for their anniversary special for $19/person. With that price, it's hard to argue or be picky since choices are quite generous and it AYCE. The place is inside a big plaza therefore big parking lot. Staff are nice and friendly. Plenty of differ type of meats to choice from, same with self service for veggies and side dishes. You pick your type of broth and refill it as you go. We enjoyed their sibling restaurant in LV last year and glad that they have it here in SoCal now. Still come back for more in the near future.
AC was off and they had box fans going. Not good experience for hot pot. We were dying. Don't come here for lunch if you're limited on time. Meat plates literally took 15 minutes to come out. We just sat there and waited. 21.99 lunch special is a decent price however. Shabuya service is much better.
First time trying this place and my boyfriend and I really enjoyed it! We came during lunch for the lunch special, and there was a good variety of cold dishes, appetizers, and desserts to choose from. We got the spicy hot broth, and it was really flavorful. They also have a sauce bar, but honestly the broth was so good that I didn't even need any extra sauce. The service was great, and they had a good selection of meats. I wasn't the biggest fan of the spicy beef, but everything else was really good. I also liked that the restaurant wasn't super loud, so it made the whole experience more enjoyable. We'll definitely be coming back!
The broth is the same as the original, and the meat quality is good. The staff are friendly and work very hard. However, the restaurant is quite warm and humid. Since this is a hot pot restaurant, good air conditioning is especially important. Unfortunately, the dining area feels warm, and combined with the heat and humidity from the hot pot, the atmosphere can become uncomfortable and make it difficult to fully enjoy the meal. In addition, the restaurant seems understaffed. You often have to wait quite a while for someone to come by when you want to reorder or even pay the bill. Unless I'm really craving the broth, I'd probably choose Shabuya instead.
I have been to happy lamb back in 626 before they closed down, luckily there's one in oc! My friend and I came here around 5pm on a Thursday after work which wasn't busy at all. Service was really quick and friendly! Veggies bar did have a lot of fruit flys or gnats on the bean sprouts which threw me off. Drink options are good, we mainly sticked with the beef short plate! We ordered the original broth and the house spicy, both really good and paired well with the meats.
Just left Happy Lamb Hot Pot and honestly... my soup now has higher standards than me This spot is giving luxury hot pot energy without making your wallet cry too hard. The broth simmers for like 8 hours, and you can taste it immediately -- rich, cozy, slightly life-changing. The Wagyu disappeared from my plate faster than my self-control, and the lamb was super tender. I also love the self-serve setup because I got to pretend I was on a cooking game show grabbing veggies, sauces, shrimp, noodles... everything. Dangerous for competitive people. The vibe inside is modern, clean, cute booths everywhere, and the staff was super attentive even while everyone around me was entering full hot-pot survival mode. If you're hungry hungry, this place is dangerous in the best way. I came for dinner and left emotionally attached to the broth. 10 outta 10 Pricing: AYCE options typically range from roughly $28-$44 depending on the package, with weekday lunch specials often available.
The meat is good. I really do like it. The soup was fine - I just happen to not be the biggest soup person (Ironic, I know). The service was fine and easy. Your usual hotpot type of young waiters and waitresses just doing their job. The place was busy but didn't feel full. You get your own drinks, forewarning. The only thing I'd really say is the little extra bar they have where you usually get vegetables or hot food is not exactly the cleanest looking or the freshest, at least when I went. OMG. How come i didnt know about this place sooner? This Happy Lamb Hot Pot has quickly become my new favorite lunch spot. For just $21, you get an incredible value without sacrificing quality. The meat is fresh and tender, and the seafood is just as impressive--everything tastes clean and high-quality. What really sets this place apart is the customer service. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always make sure you have everything you need, which makes the whole dining experience even better. Great price, great food, and awesome service--definitely a go-to for a satisfying and affordable lunch! Must visit. read more
An amazing all you can eat hot pot restaurant! We went with the "happy" option and it was delicious. The spicy marrow broth has a nice kick to it that isn't too overpowering. The mushroom had a nice savory umami flavor. The meats and seafood were fresh. There are a variety of hot pot ingredients they have available. Service was super kind and attentive. It was our first time there and they were very helpful in guiding us on how to dine here (and how to use their cotton candy machine!). Plenty of modern and clean seating. Would definitely recommend. I'm surprised this restaurant isn't that popular. I'll for sure be back here again. read more
We came here for my dad's birthday. The space is new and clean and very spacious. Two AYCE options. The soup broth is a split pot shared amongst 4 people. I personally like my own pot. The veggie and cook food section is well stocked and clean with a good selection. We went with Happier and the first round of meat quality was great. The second round was less quality and very fatty. About $41 pp for the Happier menu. Great service. No time limit. Lots of parking. Please come and create your own adventure. read more

10/10 This is an AYCE hot pot spot with two options to choose from: Happy or Happier. We went with the Happier option, and the best part about it was the wagyu selection--beautifully presented when brought to the table. The restaurant itself is incredibly aesthetic; as soon as you walk in, it feels clean, refreshing, and modern. I don't eat hot pot often, so to me, all the meats tasted pretty similar, but the variety at the bar really stood out. There were even some hot dishes available. My favorite? The chicken wings! Cost: $42.60 for the Happier option (with tax without tip). This is the only reason why it's not 5 stars.. it's so expensive! read more
My first hot pot experience and I am a huge fan! I really prefer it over Korean bbq because there is just so much variety in veggies and other items outside of the meet. The variety of noodles and rice cakes, taro and bok Choy and mushrooms, it's great! And of course the broths had amazing flavor. The added buffet is a nice touch even tho completely unnecessary. We came as a family on Saturday to give it a try, and honestly, the value for the price is amazing. The self-serve area offers a wide variety of vegetables, along with plenty of cold dishes and hot food options. The walnut shrimp was a standout -- the shrimp were huge and absolutely delicious! We chose the premium package, and the cheese shrimp balls were our favorite. They were juicy with melted cheese inside and made entirely of shrimp -- it was our first time ever having something like this at an all-you-can-eat hot pot restaurant. The roasted lamb leg was also excellent, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. On top of that, the restaurant is very clean, and the ventilation system works great -- we left without any lingering food smells at all. Definitely worth coming back！ read more
i came here for my birthday dinner, and it was overall really good for a hot pot lover like me! i love how they have a birthday deal here where you can eat for free on your actual bday if you show your ID and you have a party of 4+. also for anyone wary that they only serve lamb here, there are a lot of other different meat options too. the soup pot itself is shared for up to a party of 6, so beware if that is not your favorite way to eat hot pot. i didn't really mind, and i liked how we could get two soups to try. we decided on the golden cabbage and tomato, and both were really rich and seasoned well! you can also get unlimited soup refills. we decided on the deluxe AYCE menu ($41.99/person on weekends), which included everything from the classic menu in addition to things such as wagyu beef brisket, other cuts of lamb, and side items like fried bean curd roll (my fave hot pot item). i really enjoyed every cut of meat that was ordered, and the fancier cuts were displayed on a cutting board and propped up for some added fun. there is also a self-serve bar with tons of options for vegetables, seafood, and ready made hot foods. the staff were also very friendly and attentive to my large party of 8. they had quick service for a busier friday evening. i would definitely come back again! read more

Great cuts of meat, especially the aged lamb. The mushroom broth is my favorite. I was surprised of how good the hot appetizers are; the honey shrimp and wings are good to munch on while waiting for more meats to be brought over. The restaurant is clean and casual, good for entertaining parties of 2-4. Just make sure everyone is OK with sharing one pot per table. When there is enough staffing, the service is excellent. Unfortunately, if you go in the middle of the week for lunch, you might have to wait a long time for the server to revisit your table for more meat, or the check to pay. Be sure to take advantage of the cotton candy machine! read more
Yummy yum yum! I am so happy Happy Lamb has opened this location right nearby. If you love shabu with delicious broth then this is it. This restaurant prides itself in their long cooked marrow broth. I absolutely love their spicy marrow broth which is spicy but not too overwhelming compared to other places that do a similar broth. It's rich in flavor and complex. Yum! For meats, they have two different options: Happy and Happier. I tried their happier menu which includes their premium cuts and seafood. Honestly I enjoyed everything. For their self service bar, it included some seafoods such as fish balls, tripe and fash. They also had hot items fried rice and noodles. My favorite was their chicken wings which were surprisingly fried perfectly and seasoned. Desserts included simple cakes, sesame balls, and a choice of one ice cream in a cup at the end. I went for mother's day weekend and they were giving moms a package of broth seasoning which made the moms happy. Service was awesome. They were attentive and made great recommendations. They were also really knowledgable. We came on a Saturday and didn't have to wait. But you do need your entire party there to be seated. The inside is very spacious, clean, orderly, and comfortable. 2nd time here and we continue to be impressed. The first time we got the best of both worlds with the bone marrow and the spicy bone marrow broths. The 2nd time we got the bone marrow and the mushroom broth. They're all delicious. We love the lamb and beef meat, not so much the pork. Lots of veggies, fish cakes, etc to put into the pots. They also have calamari, fish, shrimp, clams, mussels etc. there's also a sauce bar and a drinks area, all included. I liked the strawberry watermelon juice and the lemonade, while my mother and husband liked the mango lemonade and the regular soda fountain with Pepsi products. They also have random food and desserts like delicious chicken wings, salad, oranges, peanuts, etc. my favorite dessert was the cotton candy, which i was able to make myself with supervision from one of the staff. My mom saw some people with ice cream on our way out but we didn't get to ask the staff about them. The staff are super nice, especially the elderly gentleman that reminded us that my mom qualified for a senior discount. Many of the staff came over and checked on us frequently, asking if we needed anything. Overall, the place is great, with delicious food and they accommodate our request for a table away from the crowds because we had a newborn with us. It was a nice meal. Thanks so much read more

This place was pretty good. We got the Happier AYCE set (premium) and it came with a lot more meat variety. However, the actual wagyu cuts aren't very fatty, but serves its purpose. The server lets you order as much meat as you want at a time, just keep in mind they charge for uneaten meat. Some of the meat also just kind of flakes apart once you cook it. There is a self serve station that has a ton of selection. You get your own drinks, make your own sauces, and grab your own vegetables, noodles, fish/beef balls, and etc. I was a bit disappointed they did not have chrysanthemum vegetable. Instead they had watercress; I never had watercress in shabu, so this was a first. It certainly can't replace chrysanthemum, but it was interesting. At first the soups we selected didn't have much flavor (spicy and golden cabbage), but after boiling for some time, you could kind of taste the sourness of the cabbage soup base. The spicy one wasn't very spicy at all. The inside is a lot larger than I expected and I was surprised they even had that many tables. Every table had a group, so this place is pretty popular right now. The wait itself wasn't very long though. Service was quick and efficient; someone is always coming around to take the empty plates away. Overall - great Shabu place! I think next time I might just get the Happy set though! read more
Don't listen to any reviews under 4 stars. Just bougie individuals. It's a soft opening (05/2025). This place is delicious, great service and environment. First time trying. Service was top notch. The manager, Johnson, took care of everything so well. Being a person that use to work at a restaurant and watching too much Gordon Ramsay, the restaurant ran very smoothly. Everyone was incredibly kind and they cleaned up the plates very quickly. Thanks again to Johnson for taking his time with helping out my mother with the menu options and giving us the premium meats first. Eat smart. The environment and ambiance was casual and relaxing. I went during lunch time. Can't complain when you are listening to old school music from the Beatles to Marvin Gaye while eating great food. The music wasn't too loud so you can actually hear the person in front of you. A great family friendly place with a big parking lot. read more

I went to this all-you-can-eat hot pot place and overall had a good experience. The meat quality is good and tastes fresh. They also have a great variety at the veggie bar with many options to choose from. The only downside is that the refills are a bit slow, which can interrupt the meal a little. Other than that, it is still a nice spot for hot pot and I would come back again. read more

Decided to try this spot as i love hotpot! We opted for their happy menu and the half and half pot with the spicy and bone broth. They were both very flavorful and had hints of herb tastes. Our favorite meats were the beef toro and lamb! They also have a self serve section with veggies, seafood, and hot food. The sauce bar had a lot of options which i love! Heard about this place from a friend and decided to try it out. I'm not usually a hot pot type of person but that may not be the case anymore! So many broth options and meat options depending on which ayce option you choose. There is a limit on the wagyu. They also have a buffet of veggies, variety of seafood, hot foods, and a sauce bar. It's very well kept and clean. Everything tasted great! Our server was knowledgeable and helped us out with recommendations since it was our first time here. It was the first time here and it did not disappoint! We had a large group and were promptly seated. You order the meats and then there's a self serve area for the seafood, veggies, noodles, some dessert, sauces and drinks. I had the original broth and it was flavorful. The meats were pretty good. We got the happier menu just to try everything. The pro is that it comes with wagyu meats and ice cream! They also have a cotton candy maker! Happy Lamb Hot Pot is now open in the Westminster/Huntington Beach area and is serving up an amazing Mongolian hotpot AYCE experience. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a very spacious and modern interior with lots of seating available. I stopped by for lunch with wifey and some fam around 12pm and we were seated right away. For their menu options, they have a Happy option at $32.99 and a Happier option at $39.99. For our broth, we got the Best of Both Worlds and chose Half Tomato and Half Original Marrow. They have a buffet section as well with unlimited drinks, veggies, seafood, hot foods, and a sauce bar. Overall, everything that we had was delicious and filling. My favorite meat to order was definitely the Beef Toro! All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Happy Lamb Hot Pot stands out compared to other hotpot and shabu spots due to its Mongolian flare and premium AYCE experience! read more
Brought my parents and boyfriend here for dinner and we got the premium set--it was so worth it! The premium meat cuts looked amazing and literally melted in our mouths. I especially loved the big prawns. They also have a self-serve bar with a great selection of veggies, seafood, other hotpot add-ons. Our server was super friendly and kept checking in and chatting with us, which made us feel really welcome. The ambiance was lovely as it started getting busy. Happy Lamb just opened in Huntington Beach and I already want to gatekeep it... but here we are. $33.99 AYCE in OC? Steal. The beef toro and lamb were fire, the rest of the meats? Meh. Seafood + veggie bar = ayce hot pot paradise. Tomato broth slapped, bone broth tasted like a hike. No booze yet, but they've got FREE drinks. Pro tip: mango lemonade + Brisk = elite combo. This is so dangerous so close to home, I'm obsessed! All you can eat with plenty of veggies and appetizers and desserts and meats to choose from. The place was clean & fresh, not hot and stuff like some hot pot places. The staff was so friendly and assisted in any way we needed This is def going in my restaurant rotation. read more
Great helpful funny service! Got the "happy" menu which is the most basic. Tried all the meat options but the marinated ones. Like the Toro and Kurobuta pork. Walk up bar for veggies, hot pot items, sauce bar, hot dishes was organized and well stocked. Great chicken wings with both drumettes and flats. They had fruit and dessert at the bar. Rice is by request, no charge. It was a bit dry. Keep in mind thr brother, cabbage is SPICY. Don't get it unless you can handle the spice. All broths outside of non spicy herbal seems filled with msg. Super thirsty all night. Had to water down the mushroom soup. My fav was they had watercress as a veggie option! Sorry no spinach. Overall all, not bad just some things to keep in mind. read more

Would come back! Restaurant was spacious, bright, and clean. Service was great and everyone was nice. The meat and broths were good! We came on a Sunday at almost 6pm and there was no wait. Opted for the happy tier which was $32.99 per person (happier tier is $38.99) and the best of both worlds broth which came with a spicy broth and non spicy one. After ordering our meats (they said there's no limit per round), we headed to the buffet area and everything was well stocked and clean. I love when fountain drinks are included and they even had a few fun lemonade flavors. The fountain drinks weren't very carbonated but still did the job. I normally don't get fried rice at ayce places but their fried rice was excellent. They also have cotton candy! read more
Good ayce hot pot, we stuck with the regular menu since we mainly just eat beef belly. The self serve bar had a nice selection, I liked the vegetable options more than some other places. Soups were just okay, I'd probably try something else if I ever came again. Overall good but all ayce hot pot places start to taste the same after you've been to enough. read more

I went with my family on Labor Day, and luckily it wasn't as crowded as we were thinking! The food was good, and our servers were nice! We were just waiting a lot and couldn't find them a lot of the time. Parking also gets pretty crazy because the plaza has H-Mart across the way and is still super popular. They have snacks and water for those who are waiting for a table! They also had a great playlist for when we were trying to look for our servers read more

So far another best place for hot pot on my list besides Happy AYCE in San Gabriel ;) Only been opened for a month in July 10th, got plenty of options, has happy hour menu only $25.99, very spacious, fresh quality food, cleaned bathroom, friendly staff, if you don't have any plans then come by here between 12 - 3 PM for the special AYCE pricing, didn't have to go all out with a premium menu, and still enjoyed all of it. Recommend the aged lamb and beef toro. Don't forget to check out the cotton candy machine while you are there. read more

This place has such good broth. Service is good every time we come. I am personally not a huge fan of lamb, so I will say it is not the place I frequent. However everything else was so good. I would come here just for the broth to be honest. Theres a few meats that are limited orders, but the rest is ayce! read more

Good price for the lunch AYCE and good selection of food except the space was so tight for our party of 6 to share one pot. They should have given us 2 tables instead of one table or at least a bigger table so we can move freely. The space was so tight for us to grab or order more food. We ordered only once (like 4 meats and that was it) since there was no room to order more. It didn't feel like AYCE since we didn't order or grab more food. It was so uncomfortable to squeeze 6 people in one table so our experience was not great. This would be a great place for smaller party of 2-4 people. Also, one person from our party has food allergy so that limited our option of what we can eat. Overall, I would only come back if it was just me and another person. I think 4 people would still not be enjoyable unless they are really comfortable with each other and sharing each other's food. read more

They're open Mondays-Thursdays 12-3PM, then 5-9:30PM. On Fridays and Saturdays, they're open 12-10PM and Sundays they're open 12-9:30PM!

They are still soft opening so their menu is on Yelp under menu. They have two options of AYCE and the Happier premium cost $38.99 per person. You have to ask them the price. I hope that helps.
