The pepper chicken was the only thing worth ordering--it reminded me of Taiwanese popcorn chicken and actually had flavor. Everything else was disappointing. The Paradise Burger was burnt, and the "peanut butter sriracha" sauce tasted more like bottled teriyaki sauce. The lobster mac and cheese was basically plain boiled pasta with a lobster tail tossed on top and barely any cheese sauce. The fish and chips came with three tiny pieces of fish and waffle fries that were literally cold. Even the tartar sauce tasted almost identical to the one on McDonald's Filet-O-Fish. The complimentary rolls tasted like someone grabbed a bag of Costco buns, toasted them, and called it a day. The fondue burger was dry, cold, and packed with onions that weren't even mentioned on the menu. It felt like every entree was made with the bare minimum effort. The service didn't help either. Our server checked on us maybe twice during a two-hour meal. No water refills, no follow-up, nothing. On top of that, an elderly employee had to carry a huge tray of food by herself and almost dropped it. I actually had to help catch the tray while several younger employees stood around doing absolutely nothing. That was honestly more memorable than the food. The final thing that threw me off was the restaurant layout. The restroom is right next to the kitchen, and it looked like guests leaving the bathroom and food coming out of the kitchen were using almost the same doorway. It didn't exactly scream "clean" to me. This place clearly puts more effort into the view than the food. If you're looking for somewhere to take pictures and have a drink, you'll probably enjoy it. But $8 each for what nobody else would have the guts to charge more than $5. And still not salsa. A Mexican pizza was good, but the crema was overpowering. A simple queso fundido is ruined by a mysterious "3 cheese sauce" that tastes suspiciously like still more crema. It's not hard: chorizo, chopped peppers, and Oaxaca cheese. But it topped with Oaxaca, not made with it. And the chips were cold and stale. We paid $160 for two rounds of drinks and some heavy appetizers. Nowhere near worth it.
