If there's one place that is a MUST everytime I visit, it's Harry's Burger Bar. I've been going here ever since I lived in Providence, RI for college. These burgers for small sliders are filling and AMAZING. I usually get the Turkey burgers for a somewhat healthy option. Don't even get me started about their fries. They're salt and pepper fries with cheese never disappoints! All of the servers are down to earth and welcoming. I visited for the RI FOOD FIGHTS Big Burger Blowout. I had the Harry's Classic Cheeseburger, and I was expecting it to be just a simple cheeseburger, but this was much better than a "classic" cheeseburger you would find somewhere else. The burger was charred perfectly, and the secret sauce and pickle made it very flavorful. I also got a fruity pebble shake which seemed a little pricy at first, but it was definitely worth it as you get a tin with a little extra. I would definitely go back to try more! read more

First time trying it out and it was really good. Staff was very friendly. Place is small but comfortable. Ordered the Mother of all burgers and the Bacon Cheeseburger and a side of half and half fries (salt and paper fries and crunchy onions). What I liked about this place is that they have sliders so is not wasteful. Sometimes I can't even finish a whole burger and I liked that these were perfect size. Wow, this place never disappoints. On our trip to RI from Jersey, my husband and I knew we had to stop at Harry's. This was my second time visiting by my husband has been here many times as we lived in RI for a few years. This place was packed on a Thursday afternoon but they were able to accommodate our party of 5 pretty quickly. I wanted to try a few sliders so I was bummed when I was told that I couldn't mix and match but I am so happy I went with the Turkey burgers. Wow, the sauce that comes with these burgers is phenomenal. I wish I could bottle it up and put it on other things. Lol I am just dreaming about the next time we visit! read more

It's NOT half off sliders daily, it's half off BEEF sliders per the bar tender taking care of us today. Think that's a little dishonest for advertisement. I've come a couple times and wanted to try out the new Thanksgiving (turkey) sliders. They were great but I expected them to be included in the happy hour deal and was surprised when the waitress said it's only beef sliders. The food at Harry's is great, it's what keeps me coming back. All of their slider options are good, I'm partial to the Pastrami Burgers. I also enjoy the ambience, which is kind of hipster dive bar. It's not cheesy, but not bougie either. The service is hit or miss. I used to go to the location up in Lincoln but that closed, so now I go to the N. Main location. The first time I went to this location the service was fantastic, no complaints. This most recent visit was the opposite. Girl who seated us was clearly having a bad day, she was pretty cold and indifferent when showing us to our table and taking our orders. When our food was ready she dumped it on the table without a word, and then asked "anything else you guys need?" Almost as if we were an inconvenience. And we definitely weren't bad customers (like rowdy dudes out for drinks) it was me and two women in their 40s, we kept to ourselves and we're pretty quiet. The only reason I didn't complain or give a worse rating on here was because she seated another table near us halfway through our meal and she treated them the exact same way, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt it was just a rough day. Our waiter was new, you could tell he was still learning. But he gave us really great service. Food here is reasonable priced but great portions. The only reason why it is not 5 stars , is the fries and onion strings were Luke warm almost close to cool when I got them . I think if the fries were hot and had a little more salt the would of been awesome. The onion strings were incredible, great seasoning in the batter seasoned perfectly. The burger were incredible, the meat was nicely seasoned, the mushroom were huge and cooked perfectly and the bacon was spot on in its crispyness . I'm visiting Providence for a couple of days and my daughter and I were strolling along Atwell Avenue. Lo and behold we came across Harry's. Great spot on Atwell Avenue. I had the chili dog while my daughter had the classic burgers. They were delicious dishes!! The chili on my dog had quite a bit of kick in it. Spicy and tasty. This was my second time here, and even if I wasn't just visiting RI, it would be my last. The sliders are good, order to-go. I say order to-go because the common theme from both visits is bad service. This visit was bad enough to warrant the review. Our server was rude from the very beginning. She threw tables together after telling her we had a larger party and when things fell off the table she began cussing. We arrived at 4:45, after rushing from work so we could enjoy the 1/2 off sliders. She waited until 5 (when the promo ends) to take our order. The table who walked in after us had their order taken first and I watched the server rush the order in so that they were in before 5. She was rushing the whole time and lacked all customer service. No drink refills through the entire meal and she maybe came to the table a total of 4 times from start to end. She brought the checks with the normal prices and made a huge deal about honoring the promo and when she did apply she only did for some. Advice: 1) Have consistent rules for the promo (the first time I came they didn't enforce the drink rule because we ordered apps). 2) If a party comes in at 4:45, take the order before 5. 3) If you're going to purposefully wait until 5, tell the party that the promo won't be applied so we're on the same page and not surprised when the checks come. 4) Don't cuss in front of guests. read more

So this may sound crazy, but my friend told me of an amazing burger place and based on that information I booked an air bnb and drove four hours to come here. Was it with the trip? Absolutely! We decided to come to this location because the parking by the school area is practically non existent without having to pay for it. That was something I had no intention of doing. I also love the vibe of the area this restaurant is in. It's bustling and full of business and people. It's exactly where you want to be on a Saturday night. So when you walk in, you will see their love the cow is off the charts. I freaking love it! There are so many different cow themed stuff it cracked me up. So digging right in, when you check out the menu, you will see there are a ton of different menu options. They are all sliders for the most part and that is fine by me! I chose the cheeseburger and pulled pork one. Absolutely delicious!!! I loved it. The delicious meat piled onto a soft potato bun was perfection. I can't wait to have more. So why the four star and not a 5? Well I'm not a huge fan of their fries. It's all about personal preference, but they didn't do anything for me. That's not enough though...what really upset me is I asked for two things. 1- I asked for extra cheese, as I love cheese. They didn't put that on at all and I was too hungry to wait. 2- I asked to buy one chili, but to split it in two small bowels so I could share. I later saw they charged me for two. Not cool at all. This was pretty bad. I went in for a take-out order at about 750 ordered burgers, sweet potato fries, and a milkshake to go. About 20 minutes later, my food comes out. Five minutes pass, still no milkshake. 10 minutes, 15 minutes later a milkshake comes out in the glass, not to go. Another 10 or 15 minutes pass they bring out the milkshake in a to go cup. They did refund my money for the milkshake but by the time I got home, my food was cold and I'm also missing the sauce that supposed to come with the sweet potato fries. First time at this location but not my first at a Harrys! This location is nice because it's a little more spacious and you just feel less cramped and a little more comfortable. I love that there are a number of locations now because these burgers are perfect! I've never been a huge fan of those super thick pub style burgers. Give me a smashed burger any day over those, but two small ones?? Even better!! There is a good selection to choose from and not just burgers. They offer pulled pork and chicken sandwiches, hot dogs as well as a veggie option with a black bean burger. The sloppy chili fries are everything I want to eat with a cold beer. Just want to note that it's also hand cut potatoes, none of this frozen stuff, same with their sweet potatoes fries. I almost always end up getting the M.O.A.B. or the Fungus Among Us sliders but the others I've had have also been equally as delicious. I haven't had a bad meal here. The service is always great and for you hop heads, they have a great beer list and rotating taps. read more

I enjoyed this location more than the other one simply because the seating is a little less claustrophobic and you don't have to sit next to strangers. Because let's be honest, it's uncomfortable. So, because Harry's has awesome sliders and even better sweet potatoes fries, I am a happy camper at this location. I always get sweet potato fries here with the yummy aioli dipping sauce and then I dunk my sliders in there too. Happy hour every day between 3-5 (half off your sliders with the purchase of a drink). Such a great deal and it's nice to have a relatively cheap option in the area without having to have a huge burger. You can always add more sliders to your order too (my husband always does hehe). Plenty of cocktails & the beer list is extensive. Service is friendly. Really can't ask for more if you wanna grab a bite and a beer. read more

Could have been a four star if the food was warm, the waiter brought any type of dip with the buffalo wings, if it didn't take twenty minutes to get waters and was less less than an hour for food in a nearly empty restaurant. They never brought some of our drinks but they didn't charge us so I guess that was ok. They also miscounted how many fries we ordered so when they brought out the extras they left them at the table. The extra fries were warm and we're actually pretty good. The music was a unique blend of Marvin Gaye and Avicii. It wasn't a remix, it was just a strange mix although I will say that when levels came on, they opened the shades and started to figure it out. Overall they just didn't have their act together. Would I come back? I don't know, Fed Hill has some pretty great restaurants so I might try a few others before circling back. read more

The drinks are weak and there were a couple of errors made to the order, which were swiftly corrected. I gave this a 4 star bc for a burger bar, the burgers are def on point and the service was pretty good but there could be improvements made to attention to detail and not skimping on drinks, as that's one thing that makes you feel easily cheated when paying $14 for what is essentially just juice. read more

Going out to explore and looking through yelp, this place looked good. The atmosphere was friendly and open, I sat down at the bar to order. The bartender was very pleasant. I had a Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale (wicked good you should try one) while waitong for the food. I enjoyed the burger, just got the bacon cheeseburger with fried. Those little sliders were delicious! I've been to Harry's a handful of times and I've been neither impressed nor disappointed. I mainly come here because the sliders are so cheap. On my most recent visit, I ordered the MOAB sliders ($7 for two) and sweet potato fries ($3.75). The sliders aren't particularly flavorful, but they're not bad. The sweet potato fries have a nice texture. Our server was attentive, and food came out in a decent amount of time. I was there during happy hour, so the sliders were 1/2 off with the purchase of a beverage. One thing I did not like was their choice of beverage options - the only non-alcoholic choices are either shakes or soda. I personally don't drink soda, so the fact that I have to waste a beverage just to get the 1/2 off deal sort of takes away from the discount. It would be nice if they had iced tea or lemonade options! Overall, Harry's has always been a decent experience for me. I'm likely to return. read more

I like to believe it's not that hard to read a ticket describing slider options but maybe I'm wrong. Both times I tried ordering the fungus among us burgers. The first time I received bacon cheeseburgers. (??) I tried to call them after realizing it but no one would answer the phone so I went ahead and ate them feeling quite unsatisfied. We dined outside at one of the two patio tables and really enjoyed our visit. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and was very good with our 3 year old daughter. The food was wonderful; fresh, hot and oozing with their tasty sauce! 10/10 experience before a show and evening on the town.
