My sister and I were looking forward to eating here after reading all the great reviewed. Unfortunately, we were both disappointed in the food. She ordered the buffalo cauliflower, it was very spicy and hot. I had the pickle chips, just average. I ordered the pineapple pizza for my entree. I was not at all impressed. I felt like the pizza should have been cooked longer. It was flimsy and doughy. The drinks were not good at all. My normal, titos soda lime. More like titos water with lime. Recently went here for my birthday. I ordered the Vegetable Pizza but subbed the olives for cherry tomatoes. All the toppings were fantastic- toppings that included sunflower sprouts! The only reason I didn't go for the five stars is the crust wasn't as crispy/stiff as I typically prefer. I did manage to save one last slice for the lunch the next day and it tasted almost as good as the night before! read more

Used to love harvest but this location is extremely slow with the worst bartenders. Not super busy for a Saturday night and the two bartenders are too busy washing glasses and talking to service customers. Slowest service ever!!! read more

Saturday night with easy parking and no wait, yay! I went for dinner and drinks about 8ish and we were seated immediately. The atmosphere is really nice. Perfect for a date or intimate hang out. The service was very quick and our pizza was delicious! I recommend the Pineapple pizza with extra jalapeño! It was the perfect size for sharing between 2 people. Only reason for the one star is if I had gotten any service I could better evaluate this restaurant and I really wanted to try the food. We live in the area and were thrilled to see another eatery we could walk to. The restaurant is beautifully done and at the time we came there were plenty of tables available so it was not overly busy. We got seated, got menus and some water and that was it. Another person came in and got seated near us with same results. 10 minutes later a large family group came in and then another couple who were seated further up front and orders were taken for them immediately. During our 10 minutes, no one came near us to even ask if we would like to order drinks or even want more water. Wait staff walked by and never even glanced our way. After 15 we decided to go as it was obvious that there was no interest in serving some of the customers. We did observe one girl looking around the corner at us several times and then shaking her head as if to tell someone, no, they haven't been waited on yet. The other person near us was still sitting there when we left and also still had no attention. I did stop and get the attention of one of the waitresses and told her that we were leaving because we had waited so long and she did offer to get a server but we felt the dining experience had been ruined. We did go elsewhere near our neighborhood and had a great dining experience and great food. The food I saw going out to the tables looked great and I saw a lot on the menu I would have been willing to try. Possibly we will go back at some time when they resolve the service issues (mabye get a frontline manager who makes sure every table gets some attention) We enjoy eating out at interesting places and we do tip well for good service and food. Shame they lost out. Someone else got the great tip tonite. read more

I had only been to the German Village location prior to this week. Let me just say, WOW. We got out of our norm and ordered some hush puppies... which then made me want to order ANYTHING BUT PIZZA ... but I can't resist their pizza. So of course, we got pizza :). I am from Dayton, and Harvest is one of my favorite spots when I'm working in Columbus. This High Street location is fancy schmancy in terms of space, decor, bar... the food and service have always been amazing. They are so nice to kids, and our kids even love the weird pizzas. Saw the great reviews so we decided to try it. I had a beef burger and was greatly disappointed. It was very overcooked. I asked for mustard to try to add some flavor and they brought it but charged $.50 for it. Maybe I hit at a bad time but for me it was really bad and I couldn't recommend it. read more

Went to Harvest tonight after it has been open for seven weeks. They seemed to be having troubles like a place that had just opened. We waited 1.5 hours doing our part and having beers from the bar while we saw more than one party arrive after us and get seated before us. We heard one of these was the part owners, which I find hard to believe. We were done with the poor service before we sat down and will never return. read more

Took our daughter and friends to Clintonville location since close to OSU. This location is not as good as Dublin. Farmers salad was consistent with Dublin but their pizzas were burnt on the crust and the sausage sage pizza was very salty and just not good like I expected it to be. Not consistent. Will not go back to this location. Dublin location has more friendly service oriented staff working! read more

Yum! Got the harvest burger. Sat on the heated patio. The crispy potatoes were delicious, maybe a little plain for my taste, but very nice. The burger itself was also very good, with a nice mayo-based sauce and some local ingredients. The waitstaff was helpful and friendly. The music was a little loud for conversation, but it was good music and hey, it was Saturday. I would definitely eat here again, probably like it better than NorthStar and based on this one experience better than the Crest. read more

Very good food and service. We had the Buffalo Cauliflower which was excellent. The Portabella Philly was very good but the "sport pepper" was spicier than anticipated. Having heard some pretty good things about this location we decided to try it out for a friends dinner. Drink and beer list is really solid, your typical craft selections around town. Had some hushpuppies for an appetizer - excellent, moist and great flavor. But I think drink and app were the best parts of our meal. Overall service was good given that they help eachother out and you don't always have to wait on your particular server. Our primary though made a fall-flat joke when my wife ordered her entree that really put us off to the service for the rest of our meal. We both got burgers - really anticipating a top notch experience given the start with grass-fed local beef and the fixins of the American (bacon/cheese/spinach). But the burger was dry, slightly overcooked and just did not have much flavor at all. The bacon was thick-cut but not in a delicious way, moreso in a too-chewy way. Yes this started as a pizza place but this location has all kinds of sandwiches and burgers, so we gave them a try. I'm not really a fan of their pizza...it's small for the price and all the toppings and cheese get loaded in the middle and you have about 6-7 inches of the diameter of your pizza just plain crust. You can do better in this town. And now I think you can do a lot better than their burgers too, so this wasn't a great experience for us. read more

Harvest Bar + Kitchen is excellent. First time visit was with a friend following a Friday of fun at the Memorial Tournament. Quick showers and dashing over to Clintonville at the recommendation of a buddy was a great decision. Sitting at the bar, the friend was delighted Harvest carried an IPA from Jackie O's out of Athens, Ohio. Nice! I settled in with Knob Creek on single-block ice in a rock glass. Classic. Our food orders were the Italian meatball sub and (mine) was the Spicy Yuma 12" pizza. Wow, the flavors from the pizza were just great; some jalapeno heat with the right mix of cheese and veggie. The crust of the pizza was light and carried to me the taste of coal-fired baking as did my friend's hogey bun, baked crisp but light. I'll return to this little eatery in Clintonville and should they deliver another super meal and great bartending (yeah, this is a shout-out to Kristina who is a real pro and loves the art of serving and brews), there is a 5-star coming. We really enjoy coming here but had a somewhat mediocre experience this past weekend. The Happy Hour advertised discounted drinks and a few small plates. One of our favorite small plates was on the HH board, so we ordered drinks and a couple of small plates. Since we had inquired about the happy hour special upon ordering, and since the drinks and small plates we ordered were the ones advertised as the happy hour special, we assumed that's what we were ordering. When our check came, we were charged for regular small plates and drinks. They corrected the overcharge on the drinks but not the small plates; we were told we had to specify that we wanted the happy hour small plates, which seems like bad business practice. There was no difference in name between what was on the HH board and what was on the menu so it would have been nice if the server had told us when we were ordering that we needed to specify. We were also charged an additional $1.50 for a 2Tbsp cup of ranch dressing, which seems excessive. Not an awful experience it just felt like a bit of a bait-and-switch. The point of Happy Hour isn't to trick people into ordering a more expensive dish. read more

5 stars all around for excellent atmosphere, food, and service! I was sad to find an empty restaurant and locked door when I came here at 3:40pm on a Monday the day after New Year's Day but a server promptly opened the door and let me know that they would open at 4pm. My husband and I took our toddler for a walk down the street while we waited. We were overdue to stretch ours legs from a long day on the road anyway (headed back home after the holidays). The time quickly passed and when we returned, we were the second table to be sat. The bar area is the eye-catcher in the space with a high antique tin tiled ceiling, beautiful open cabinetry, draft beers and other specials handwritten on chalkboards and a high top communal table. We ordered the meatballs and hush puppies small plates as appetizers. The sauce on the meatballs was delicious and was also accompanied by a few pieces of toast which were great for dipping. The hush puppies came with a sweet maple flavored butter. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu offerings. My husband and I ordered some local brews which were both really good. He had the All-American burger and I had the Harvest burger, probably the best burger I've ever had. The burgers came with a generous serving of roasted potatoes and crunchy chips/crisps which were the perfect side. I would definitely love to come back here and try their pizza the next time we're in town. read more

Clintonville is definitely getting some good new dining options and Harvest is one of the best. I was a fan of of Harvests GV location and was thrilled to see them open up here. The space is really nicely done with lots more seating than the original. Also the expanded menu has some good non pizza offerings. The Italian sandwich is very good. Of course if you haven't been before pizza is what you should be getting as they have probably the best in Columbus. Salads are quite large and a half is plenty unless your planning to share. read more

My first Harvest dining experience was actually take out and HOLY COW, it was so so good! I ordered the Geary Street (clam pizza) and my bf ordered the Fennel Sausage pizza. Service was outstanding and the food was still hot and wonderful by time we got it home and ate it. I can't wait to in for the whole experience. I'm sure it gets really packed and busy and that might be a turn off but gosh, the menu almost makes it worth it! :D I'll definitely be back. read more

Stopped in for lunch on 12/28 with a party of four, we were told to expect a 20 minute wait. After 40 minutes we noticed patrons who arrived as we were waiting being seated. I found our greeter and was told that our table for four was given away by another server, and the other party just seated was a party of six. She was sorry, but didn't offer any kind of solution that would entice us to wait around any longer. Not your average pizza! All pizzas are made with fresh, local ingredients and man are they delicious! One of our favorite things to order is their kale salad! It is made with this light lemon Cesar dressing and topped with toasted hazelnuts! No matter how many times I attempt to replicate this salad it does not compare!
