Nice spot for studying, wfh, catching up with friends. It's clean, modern, and there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Sacramento's temp has been hitting the hundreds lately, and this place's A/C is top tier!! The staff were also very friendly! However, I don't think it's worth the money. I got a banana bread latte and I couldn't really taste the banana in it at all. This drink was also a little over $9 total before tip... My coworkers also thought their coffees were mid as well and not worth the price, but said the pastries are worth checking out!

We wanted to find a coffee shop to get some work done, and Haute Coffee was on our must try list. We walked up and saw there was plenty of seating inside and outside. However, we found the inside way too cold so ended up sitting outside. They offer Yemeni & Ethiopian coffees, with some Asian influence, such as Hojicha, Dalgona, and Matcha. They had tons of pastries and even sandwiches to choose from. We got the caramel dalgona, hazelnut hojicha, and hot chocolate. For pastries we got the cheesecake, biscoff cinnamon roll, and pistachio NY rolled croissant. We enjoyed everything we got. The pastries were pretty big, but fairly expensive. The croissant was crispy, and had a good amount of filling. The cinnamon roll was a little dense but still great. We enjoyed working there but will definitely bring a sweater for next time.

I remember when this spot was occupied by a very popular national chain coffee shop. I used to go there a lot to just hang out and do work on my laptop or maybe just relax and enjoy their free WiFi. Well that place has come and gone and now we have a new coffee shop in that space, so I thought it was as good a time as any to pay them a visit-my daughter and I decided we would meet up at Haute Coffee on Foothills in Roseville. The parking for this shop is plentiful as it shares a parking lot with a major grocer in the area and many other businesses. When we walked in,we were greeted kindly by the youthful enthusiastic workers-I liked that. I liked that they are open late-they stay open until 10pm 5 days a week and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Their offerings could be described as Middle-Eastern inspired coffee-it feels like a luxury coffee shop. This ain't Dunkin folks,this place feels special. After the friendly employee explained the drink options a bit to us,we decided to go with the Iced Horchata Latte ($7.00) and the Iced Salted Praline Latte ($7.75) and we decided to share the Oreos Cookies & Cream Cinnamon Roll. ($8.75) We got our coffees pretty quickly. My daughter thought hers was pretty enjoyable-she had the Horchata Latte and I had the Salted Praline Latte. The Salted Praline Latte was pretty solid-not too sweet and if you're a big fan of the praline taste, as I am, this really hits the spot. Where the visit went wrong was the cinnamon roll-on paper that flavor combo should've really worked but it just didn't.The texture of the cinnamon roll wasn't great and the flavors tasted way too artificial-the texture almost felt like the cinnamon roll had been heated and reheated multiple times-I'm sure that didn't happen but it just felt like it had. In closing, just thinking for myself, I probably would come back, but just for the coffee, will most likely skip the pastries-thats just too big of a swing and miss to come back from.

Middle Eastern-inspired coffee concept [Roseville CA] I didn't realize that this was a specialized coffee shop -- serving Yemeni and Ethiopian coffee roasts, artisanal espresso drinks, and ceremonial-grade matcha. I didn't know what to order and so I asked if they offered any beverages that wasn't "coffee" and they made me an Iced Vanilla Matcha which wasn't on the menu and tasted quite good! I paired it with a Dubai New York Croissant Roll. It was actually hard to choose which would be my first roll. Oh man, there were so many options to choose from -- eeny, meeny, miny, moe. There were plenty of seating both inside and outside. It took over the former Starbucks location in the Bel-Air shopping center (opposite Carl's Jr). The location features a comfortable, aesthetic interior meant for slow mornings (opens at 8:00a), coffee dates, or late-night hangs. I stopped by to try a Cherry blossom matcha a few months ago and wasn't disappointed. Finding a good matcha spot in Roseville can be a hit or miss and this place was a total hit. Their matcha's definitely appear to be high quality ceremonial grade and I would definitely return to try more of the menu.

I have been meaning to try Haute Coffee for a few months, but with my busy schedule, who knows when I'll make it anywhere! Today, I drove my daughter out to this area and found it to be the perfect time to stop in and treat myself for how hard I work. You would never know how beautiful it is inside unless you come in. Gorgeous lighting, modern look. Some tables has a small potted plant on them. The white backdrop behind the order/pick up counter makes for a very sleek look. The showcase next to the register was full of good looking New York Style crossiants. They're not labeled, but the girl at the register was happy to tell me about them all. On the wall next to the register, was an illuminated drink menu. I decided to try the salted caramel Matcha drink for $7.50 aaaand I wanted to try something sweet and something savory. I decided to try the Nutella New York Style crossiant and a turkey & cheese crossiants. For $27+ .. I was hoping these tasted like a slice of heaven! They offered to warm those up for me. My salted caramel matches was pretty good! It was refreshing and creamy. I liked that I had the option of what milk to use (whole, 2%, almond coconut). The turkey & cheese crossiant was served on a tiny plate... it was not good... the crossiant was chewy, the turkey was dried out, the cheese was hard and the bottom was greasy. It tasted like it was warmed up too much, and when it cooled off, that's when the croissant become chewy. Being that the layers are so paper thin, any type of moisture while being warmed up ruins those textures. After a few bites, I switched to the NY Style crossiant. The NY Style crossiant was also served on a tiny plate, was not warmed up at all, and that was also very chewy. If I was just judging on the crossiant by itself, being flakey on the outside was the only plus. It was missing that rich buttery texture. To me, a crossiant is a decadent experience... it's texture is very important because of all those layers.. I was looking forward to a light crisp outside to a soft light airy inside. It was gorgeous. A very unique quirk if you like crossiants like this. I just don't think it's for me. As I asked for a togo box for the NY crossiant, I did tell the girls behind the counter that the turkey & cheese crossiant was too chewy to eat. The turkey was dry, the cheese was hardened. They did not offer to fix it. I can see why the NY crossiant is a little expensive. These crossiants are layers upon layers upon layers... rolled up and baked. Even the center is filled with Nutella (there were other flavor options available, like strawberry and oreo for example), but it isn't worth that price if it doesn't act like a crossiant. I do not recommend getting your pastries warmed up here.

Came on a Friday morning and they were pretty busy already. Despite the business, the employees remained friendly and quick. The interior of the coffeeshop was very bright and modern. There was also plenty of outdoor seating. I gpt the dubai mocha latte and it surprisingly tasted like dubai chocolate. Would reccomend if in the area looking to try a new coffee shop!

I've followed the coffee shop on socials and when they finally opened, I had to stop by! I decided to try a couple of options and honestly the drinks were both amazing!!!! I wasn't sure what the dalgona was so I got a safe flavor the pistachio white mocha and that was really good! It's almost like whipped coffee on top of milk and once mixed in it was great! The tiramisu latte was also super yummy! The tart was ok, not my absolute favorite but not bad at all! The space itself is very cute and comfy and service has always been super nice every time! The ladies that work there are always super helpful on answering my questions and always happy to help so that's super fun to walk into every time! Overall Ive been back several times already and it's definitely staying as part of the must go to in my rotation!!!

The salted matcha was the tastiest! Super friendly staff and helpful explanations and experience. Very fancy restroom paper. Price is higher than expected but hopefully it makes up with quality and maybe they use organic milk? I'm not sure but just assuming for such a price. Pretty interior. Used to be a very clean Starbucks location as well.

I wanted to love this place, but it was only alright. The interior is really pretty, but the food, drinks, and service were mediocre. I got the haus latte which has different spices, but the coffee was lacking in boldness and just had a hint of flavor, and it seemed a bit bland. The pastries my friends ordered were also cold, even though it was supposedly heated up. The service was also not amazing--it seemed like my friends were pulling teeth trying to ask for the girl's input and information on the different drinks and foods. I was hoping it would be a hit since I live in Elk Grove, and there's one opening here, but I don't think I'll be too eager to go back.

Fun atmosphere, good pastries and excellent coffee - at a very high price. Well worth trying, just be prepared for pay $8 for a medium mocha or latte. The tiramisu latter is very good, and the croissants were good as well. If you don't want to pay a higher price, choose a different location, we chose this and we like and recommend it.

My husband and I were eager to check this new spot out that replaced Starbucks. The first time we stopped by, they were still closed at 7:30am and weren't able to stop in. Many of us start work at 8:00am on weekdays and so I was bummed to see that 8:00am is when they open on weekdays. We appreciate the large parking lot & plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Upon walking in we were greeted by friendly staff that were also extremely patient in answering all our questions! We ended up ordering two iced coffees to go. We really wanted to try their pastries but they had already sold out of many of them, unfortunately. The drinks were delicious!! As a breast feeding mom I'm very conscious of my caffeine intake and was seeking a decaf option, I was bummed that they didn't have this as an option. Would love to see this as an added option in the future.

Talk about a glow up! Haute Coffee has made great use of the space that I'd known a different way for the last 15+ years. Friendly and welcoming service. Noor was a total sweetheart and patiently answered all of our copious questions. I ordered the Dalgona with macadamia milk and sugar free hazelnut and it was great. My kid got a chai tea and my brother ordered a horchata flavored iced coffee, possibly also a Dalgona. It was later in the evening after big dinners so we skipped the pastries, but they looked fantastic. Definitely looking forward to going back and trying them next time. This place being open late is a huge plus and makes it a great option to have. read more

Came in early to avoid the crowds we have seen here. Ordered 2 mochas; one decaf and one regular. The decaf mocha was just awful. Didn't taste like any mocha I had ever had. Took it back in and asked them if they used instant coffee for the decaf. I was told it was freeze dried decaf. Boy, was it terrible. They made me a Chai Latte which was much better and the Staff really worked hard to get me a drink I would be happy with. I appreciated that. My husband said his regular mocha was very good. If that is what they are serving for their decaf, I wouldn't even offer a decaf option. read more

The bread here is amazing! I got the Dubai chocolate and it wasn't too sweet nor bland. If you're looking for sweet drink I'd definitely recommend the iced banana bread latte. For a strong drink, I'd recommend the iced roasted hazelnut with mocha, it would definitely wake you up. If you're looking for a drink in between, I'd recommend the iced vanilla hojicha or iced strawberry white mocha latte. I haven't tried hot drinks yet but I'm sure they'd also be as delicious as the iced drinks. The drinks come out pretty quick and the staff is nice. This is the perfect place to either stop in quick for a drink to go or to sit down and relax. They have an outdoor area as well. read more

Today was my first time trying this coffee shop and I have only good things to say the atmosphere is very clean and peaceful and their decorations are nice. I like that. They had lots of seating you could fit up to groups of six here comfortably. The drinks were also very yummy. I recommend the banana bread latte and the cinnamon mocha but I would recommend adjusting the sweetness. The service was nice and very quick and the employees were very willing to help. I enjoyed my time here and will definitely come back again. read more

Saw a lot of videos on TikTok about this place, so I'd been meaning to try it for a while. The cafe itself is super cute and has a very chill vibe. The decor is modern while not feeling too over the top. There's a decent amount of seating, so if you're looking for a cozy place to get some coffee and maybe some work done, this would definitely be a good spot. I went with two friends and we ordered two iced lattes -- Pistachio Latte and Horchata Latte (I think). Both drinks were VERY sweet, so much so that I don't think either of us finished the drinks we ordered. They're also quite pricy. The size is fine and they look great, but again...they're just too sweet. I also noted that the color was REALLY light, so I don't think the espresso being used is very strong. Either that, or they just don't add a lot and the milk overpowers everything. I rated it 3-stars because while super sweet coffee might not be my thing, that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. read more

I can't recommend Haute Coffee enough! I've tried their Hazelnut Dalgona and it was absolutely delicious. I'm usually not a matcha fan, but their Strawberry Matcha completely changed my mind. It was so good! All their pastries look so good and fresh New York Croissant is a 10/10. Everything I've had has been amazing. The customer service is excellent, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the shop is so aesthetic. Every drink is beautifully presented and always picture-worthy. This coffee place replaced the Starbucks on Foothills in Roseville. I went to coffee with a friend and thought we should give it a try. They have a very extensive Yemeni & Ethiopian Coffee coffee menu with a large variety of macha too. I tried one of the specialty coffees with foam and it was delish but not a coffee for me. Next time I will stay with the latte for a coffee for my caffeine kick. read more

Staff was super nice. It was busy! The matcha was ok, I was expecting a little more from the reviews. It's a beautiful coffee shop, it's nice and open with outdoor seating. That being said, they are rather pricey. I paid $8 and change for my matcha and I wanted to try a pastry but not for $9.50. The pricing didn't match the quality, I'd give them another chance for the coffee. However, as it stands I think I had higher expectations. read more

I think this place has potential. The ambience is nice. However, the presentation of the pastries is messy and the way the pastries themselves were presented were sloppy. I bought a Nutella croissant. And it was extremely stale. The croissant was very hard to chew. And the Nutella inside was completely frozen. I'm guessing these are premade and this led to it being very stale and not thawed out. If you're selling pastries at this price point, it's really to be expected. They are made from scratch Daily. I also bought a cappuccino which frankly tasted like hot milk. I can't taste much coffee. For six dollars I expected to be a pretty good cappuccino. If I were them, I would make the coffee better. Completely rework the pastries (given how they all looked im assuming they're all like mine, but I could be wrong) and make the presentation of them awesome. Right now it looks like they're just thrown in the display case and there's not even Signs for the different ones. The people inside seemed nice and personable. read more

The place was very nicely decorated, definitely a place i can see myself come and do some work and enjoy a drink or two. The staff was super easy going and helpful, the first time i went i got the strawberry matcha since i had already had coffee earlier, i enjoyed it, it was refreshing. the second time I went i got a roasted hazelnut dalgona with mocha and it was perfection. The staff gave me recommendations based off if i liked sweet or less sweet i went with regular as im more of a sweet tooth and it was perfect. Cant wait to go again and discover more drinks and try out their pastries. read more

This coffee shop has a wide selection of drinks and plenty of comfortable seating, making it a great spot for studying or getting work done. The service was friendly and welcoming, and they even let us try their dalgona coffee, which was a nice touch. The vanilla hojicha was too sweet for my liking. Was recommended by a Cricket Wireless employee and I must say im so glad they did. I drove from stockton to give it a try and it was so delicious. I tried their pastries and they were warm and soft and so tasty! I also tried them matcha they had many choices so I went with their recommendation of strawberry macha, so glad I did it was the perfect blend of refreshing with a subtle sweet hint of strawberry and very natural tasting not artificial. I'll be coming by again. Staff was very helpful and guided me with recommendations with a smile on their face and the place had lots of places to sit and enjoy. Here's your updated review with that added detail: We've visited Haute Coffee three times now, and every visit has been such a great experience. Two of those times, the owner was incredibly kind and gave us a free Aero Brew (their nitro cold brew) and their house cappuccino on the house and both were absolutely amazing. I've tried the strawberry matcha with oat milk and also the caramel iced latte. Both drinks were really good! The caramel latte was a bit on the sweeter side for my taste at first, but I asked for half sweetness the next time and it was perfect. For the strawberry matcha, I personally would've loved a stronger matcha flavor maybe a little less milk would help balance the matcha-to-milk ratio. In my experience, around 4.5g of matcha powder usually gives the best flavor. Other than that, amazing service and great ambiance. You can really tell they care about their customers. I truly love this place and will definitely keep coming back! read more

The store itself is beautiful, but this is the most expensive coffee I have tried and they didn't get my order correct. For $9.50, if they didn't have the beverage I ordered, I would hope for better communication. A caramel latte is not the same thing as an American version caramel macchiato since the American caramel macchiato has vanilla in it and is later. The pastries don't have their prices labeled and those are $7.75 each. Glad I gave it a try, won't be back due to pricing being far too high. read more

The inside of the shop was attractive and clean. Our questions were politely and thoughtfully answered. The iced vanilla latte was good. The iced cinnamon mocha was soooo good! After a very hectic morning of taking children to school, my wife decided to go and try Haute coffee. As people can probably relate.. she ordered her coffee and paid. After paying she realized she forgot to ask for decaf. She specifically CANNOT have caffeine so she immediately asked to have her coffee decaf at the register. The barista told her "We don't have decaf" so my wife politely asked to have a refund then since she cannot have caffeine and this place REFUSED. I've never been to an establishment that flat out refused to accommodate a customers simple request. Especially over $20. Absolutely ridiculous. The coffee is a tad bitter for my taste but it's good quality. I noted most of the baked goods are close to ten bucks each. There is no drip coffee option. I seen this place was fairly newer and close by so of course i had to come try it out. Place is super clean there is plenty of seating inside and outside if you wanted to hang out. Their menu has so many options and they do have pastries and a few sandwich options. I ended up grabbing a Tiramisu latte with oat milk. It came out so pretty surprisingly it wasn't overly sweet so thats a plus. Staff is friendly and service was quick! Im fore sure coming back to try more menu items. read more

i typically don't like mocha in my coffee but this was actually really good. the worker recommended & said it's on the sweeter side, but my husband & i felt like it was perfectly balanced with coffee & sweetness. the cafe is super cute, it's not your typical dim/dark ambiance. the vibe of it is minimalist but also modern. the workers were so sweet & helpful. they gave good recommendations & were patient as we were trying to decide. they also complimented me a few times. all in all, super friendly staff! i believe we met the owner as well & he was also very welcoming. their menu variety is huge & they have a bunch of flavors you don't see at other cafes! for sure my new spot. we'll definitely be back! read more

This place is the real deal. Thoughtfully curated menu with local empanadas from Maria's Empanadas and Paella in downtown Sac. I wish the menu wasn't so difficult to read while standing in line, but it forced me to take out my phone, zoom, and click at the cozy aesthetic that's clean. I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this place. It took about 35 minutes from the time I walked in to when I finally received my coffee. It was extremely busy and crowded, but there were only three people working, so everything moved very slowly. I ordered the tiramisu, salted caramel pistachio, and a kids' chocolate. The kids' chocolate was actually really good, and my kids loved it. Unfortunately, the other two drinks were a completely different story. The tiramisu coffee was absolutely awful, and the salted caramel pistachio was just as bad. It was overwhelmingly salty, and I ended up throwing it away after just a few sips because I felt like I might get sick. I wanted to ask them to remake the drinks, but the girls working there already seemed so overwhelmed and the line was insane, so I didn't say anything. I really wanted to like this place, and I might give it another try someday, but based on this experience, the drinks were very disappointing. My guess is that many of the owner's family and friends are writing positive reviews. I'm sorry, but there's absolutely no way this place would be rated this highly otherwise. read more

But, it's AYCE so just double the order for each fish and you'll satisfy that sashimi cravings you've been having since last weekend. Also, surprise, surprise. They also have amaebi. One of my favorite nigiris. Sadly, the deep fried head didn't come with it only for us to find out that we had to specifically ask for it. Albeit not too busy, maybe 10 tables at the same time we were there, but it's nice that they approach you not for the purpose of rushing you but to make sure you've had your fill of your favorite nigiri/sashimi/maki and the variety of rolls. People were arriving in this shopping complex so parking was starting to get packed. We walked in and immediately noticed the interesting decor and a fair amount of seating. I had previously checked their menu on their official site which slightly differed from what was displayed so I ended up getting a mocha. My father wandered to the separate section of this establishment and got ice cream. The mocha was great! I substituted it with oat milk - not sure if that's what made it taste better but it was satisfying enough that we ended up heading over there the following day for coffee. I assume because we arrived near dinner hours and school ended, there was quite a bit of foot traffic. But overall, the experience was great! Found my new local coffee spot in Roseville. Thanks!

This might be the best coffee spot I've ever been to. We tried three different drinks, and the salted caramel pistachio completely stole the show--seriously, so good. Pistachio flavors can be hit or miss, but this one was rich, balanced, and anything but bland. The ambiance was cute and the space was clean, which I always appreciate.
