This absolute sweetheart of a lady (owner) is partially responsible for my overall well-being (maybe a little dramatic, but seriously). I've been picking up lunch from here almost every single day ever since I moved my business to Buena Park. As a relatively young, health-conscious male, finding a quick, healthy, filling, and reasonably priced meal nearby is not an easy task. Everyday when lunch time rolls around, the boys at our moto shop and I begin contemplating on what the menu of the day will be. This place wins every time. We almost always get beef or pork bento, and sometimes the kimbap depending on how hungry we are. Bento comes with an assortment of rice, main protein, and 4~5 side dishes that slightly vary each day (love this). I think such slight variance aids in us not getting sick of eating it everyday. Nothing is ever left/thrown away. We eat every damn thing, every single time. If you read this review and get all hyped up to try their food, understand that one meal likely won't be life-changing - I don't think that's even achievable with $10 bentos. I just highly value their consistency of homemade, fresh, good quality ingredients, and obviously very tasty meals She always greets us with high, positive energy, and we can feel the sense of generosity and the will to feed her customers healthy food. Had been calling 6 weeks before the day of event for some catering. Just wanted to get the date reserved early. Got it done. But when I called 3 weeks before the event to add couple more bento boxes.... They are telling me I didn't confirm the order and they can't fulfill it because they are booked. When I had it confirmed weeks before. I gave them exact numbers of beef bulgogi, pork bulgogi, & spicy calamari bentos. All they said was it was not confirmed they don't have my order down for the date and now it was all full. I started to ask what had happened and their demeanor changed. They got very rude and just hung up on me. Called back but it was obvious they were ignoring my calls. Later I find out they took a bigger order than mine for that day. Nothing about this business is heartful, from the way they speak to a customer to how they hang up on a call. Cancelling orders without notice.
