Hearthstone was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I went with the 5-course menu and chose the elk cooked medium rare -- easily one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. The Italian pilsner paired perfectly with the meal, and the dessert, the caramel sticky toffee pudding, was incredible. If you're looking for high-quality food and an exceptional dining experience, this is hands down the best place in town. The ambience in this beautiful old Victorian house is also a highlight!

Amazing experience. I was tasked with planning my mom's elopement last minute while they visited on their annual ski trip. They eloped at sapphire point (stunning) and then we did a dinner of 9 adults and 2 children to celebrate. Hearthstone was the best! They put me in touch with local baker who dropped off the wedding cake the night before and they set it up for a cutting at the end of dinner. Service was excellent. They put us in a semi private room off to the left, perfect. Food was excellent as well (much better than what you typically eat at a wedding haha). Waiter was very patient with us and attentive. Didn't feel rushed even when most of headed back and three people stayed back at the table for another round. Made the night feel so special. Thank you Hearthstone for making the elopement feel so special.

Sat at the bar for happy hour and had a fantastic experience. The service was great and the happy hour menu had a really solid selection. The pork belly and beef tips were absolutely incredible, easily the standout dishes and cooked perfectly. This is a must-visit spot for happy hour in Breckenridge, and I'll definitely be back to try dinner next time.

Had a fabulous meal at Hearthstone. If you're looking to eat good In Breckenridge, Hearthstone should be at the top of your list. Reservations are recommended, we made ours 1.5 months ahead of time. Service was exceptional! Tried both the NY strip Special and the rack of lamb. Both were cooked to perfection. I preferred the lamb, the chefs signature dish, price per head is about $100 - $150 for dinner. Go, you won't be disappointed!

Would rate this place 3.7 stars Our waiter Corbin was wonderful with timing, refills and overall service. No complaints there. The reason for the dings to the rating is because of the food/chef. The wait for our entrees was unusually long, tables were looking around for their food and one table stood up and complained in front of everyone. Upon arrival, the medium filet was medium rare and the medium rare elk was medium well. Overall the dining experience was cozy and romantic, but the food leaves a bit to be desired for the price point.

We walked up without a reservation on a Saturday & the staff was able to accommodate us at a 2 top. Super adorable house with a large outdoor space. Very welcoming & warm. The peach app was phenomenal.

It was an interesting meal with some high highs and low lows. The service was great and our waiter was really nice. The highlights of the meal were the Ahi Tuna appetizer and Peach Bread Pudding with Raspberry Sorbet for dessert. The tuna appetizer was so well done with all the different flavors and textures coming together perfectly. It was one of my favorite tuna dishes I've ever had. I don't normally go for bread pudding, but both it and the sorbet were delicious. The low point was the burrata appetizer which I had gotten as my main. I love black pepper and would say I use more than the average person, but this dish had so much pepper that it was hard to eat. I had to force myself to finish maybe half of it. I had seen some positive reviews for the burrata so not sure if there was some accident with my dish and the pepper, but I can't imagine it was what the dish was meant to be. The actual restaurant was pretty cool and had a relaxing atmosphere so given that and the delicious tuna appetizer and dessert I'd probably go back.

Enjoyed dinner here with my wife. So far this has been my favorite dinner in Breckenridge. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. Very well done! Courses were timed well and the staff was friendly and attentive for the most part. Food was fantastic. No picture of the appetizers but the lobster raviolo was top notch.

Located in a renovated 19th century mansion this is a place to go for a special celebration. From the ambience to the views to the food every thing is tastefully curated with attention given to details. Weather permitting I'd recommend patio seating!

Hi there ! Is there a friendly kids menu for those picky eaters who just love streak and fries ? 😅

Yes! Kids menu is on their website, but they have tempura shrimp, chicken, fries and a few other items!

    Is there a dress code?

Hi Barbara, we do not have a formal dress code at the Hearthstone. You'll see everyone from folks coming off the mountain from a day of biking or skiing, to couples out celebrating special occasions. We look forward to seeing you, whatever you…

Hi, I am looking for a place to have a fine dinner on Christmass night. Is your place taking reservations? And what is the deal/menu for that night? Thanks!

Hi Olena, thank you for your interest in dining with us! We are open on Christmas, but are fully booked at this point. We would love to have you dine with us another night during your visit to Breckenridge. Please call as at 970-453-1148 if you…

What are the prices of your steaks?

Hearthstone prices are on the high side but the quality and flavor are worth it. And the view from upstairs is one of the best indoor dinner views in Breck. And service is superb.

We have never done this at a restaurant before, but we went to Twist 2 nights in a row. It is that good! We had to go back because we wanted to taste everything on the menu that we could. We had a friend who was there the same day on the other side of the restaurant that we did not see, but he said it was the best pasta dish in Colorado! Everyone was so accommodating to our group of 4 adults and 2 children. We felt at home in the beautiful Victorian home setting. We sat outside in the front yard with a majestic view of the mountains and sat back and enjoyed great food, great wine, and stellar service (shout out to Connor who took care of us the first night). They have a Happy Hour that is fabulous, but please do not limit yourself to the Happy Hour menu. Everything on the menu is fantastic. Our group kept debating what dish was the best....so many favorites. Here are some of our favorites in no particular order: Elote Street Corn Bibb - We made salad wraps of charred corn, cotija cheese, bacon and tomatoes...) Mussels - I know every restaurant has a mussel dish on their menu, but these were sublime. Love the touch of sausage to the dish! Cheese & Charcuterie Board - excellent, excellent curation! Great local cheeses paired with artisan meats...cudos on the Duck Prosciutto! Lobster Roll - All Lobster, Butter on a toasted bun....simple and so good! Shrimp and Pancetta Tagliatelle - The pasta is charred. Yes you heard that right charred pasta. The chef explained he experienced a similar dish in Italy during his travels and came back home to replicate it in his Restaurant - Thank You Chef Delicious! As our friend said "Best Pasta Dish in Colorado!" We live in the Chicagoland area, but can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu! The evening started with them not remembering the food allergy that I told you about when i submitted your survey, but I digress. We started with a martini and an old fashioned. The martini was tasty but half of it was missing like where's the rest of my drink ‍. Second I had to ask for plates, not sure how you forget but remembered to give them to the table next to me ‍. At this point I'm over it and prefer my experience at raticato. Next strike, you ask us to order everything and you'll course it out but instead you interrupt us mid chew and ask to clear the table for our meals, absolutely unacceptable. How do you rush your customers. I get it's 8pm but you're open until 9:30 and if you're in a rush go home and send a server that wants to be there. Service, service, service. It was absolutely non existent and at a restaurant that isn't McDonalds prices, do better. You never came back to our table and asked if the food came out ok or if we needed more drinks. As a matter of fact, my spouse walked to the bar and ordered their own drink, unacceptable. Absolutely ridiculous. We couldn't enjoy our meal because the service was so poor and I'd absolutely not return. We had the Halibut, which was tasty but could do without the ro and the chicken dish, which was prepared well. The steak tartare was just ok and the bread and hummus was a good addition. Nah, wouldn't recommend. Please have a conversation with Olivia Z., if she's having a day she needs to exit and not work that day in hospitality. P.s. she also rushed another table that wanted to enjoy the chicken dish but she was too focused on leaving that she told them they should get dessert instead.
