Closed Monday and Tuesday!!!! (Took me four weeks to figure this out, sucks because I been wanting their pizza these days) They don't always answer phone orders. I will call about 4-7 times before someone will answer a phone. To take my order or to answer my questions. And I know it's a day they are open and during the later afternoons between 3-6pm. I've only have managed to try one pizza since I've been really taking to eat here, Since February. The pepperoni and jalapeño pizza is all I've been able to try. I've been there a handful of other times to try something else but have had to walk away because they didn't offer anything that particular day that my kid will eat. (They don't like cheese pizza or pepperoni pizza) if I can't get something that the family will eat or like to eat we go somewhere else. I feel just about everyone of their pizza's are a speciality style of pizza. Wish and hope they have more common stuff daily beside plain cheese and pepperoni. Maybe offer a pineapple type pizza daily too? The pizza itself well, I wish I can try it again! It was about 8 slices total. When I took my first slice it must have just came out the oven because it was still very hot greasy and all my toppings slid off. I had to use about 4-6 napkins to hold the pizza and not drip drippings all over my car and myself. The second slice I also ate in the car. This one wasn't dripping toppings and grease everywhere. It had some time to "cool" still did need a napkin or two, but no where near as much as that first slice. The pizza held up great until I got home 2.5 hours later. Then the family ate the rest. Even they said they wanted to try it again. Cold pizza was good and even a re heat it still tasted well. read more

Best pizza ever!! I got got to take a picture of my pizza before I ate it. I got the spice spice baby which is a pepperoni pizza with jalapeños. Yum. Sweet and tangy. Amazing. Why? Because they drizzle house made spicy honey on top of pizza. When normally I would of thought it's a gross combo. But it was soooo good!!! They even sell the spicy honey in a jar for $12!!! The pizzas are thin with thick crust where you can taste the fresh herbs. It's about $5 a slice and I ended up buying $70 worth. Lol. It was just that good! I finally tried Hella Pie Pizza Co. and loved it! I got a medium margerita pizza with carmelized onions added. Also got a slice of the special (the stolci?). Growing up in Tracy I would have loved to have had Hella Pie around. Now that I'm older I am more selective about my pizzas lol. They have a good concept, but lack flavor. The Hella Spicy was not even a tiny bit spicy. The jalapenos had no flavor or spice and even the Hot honey they used just tasted like room temp honey. What I can't get over is the pizza dough. It's just not good. It's not light in crispy, thick n chewy it's this weird paper towel texture that leaves you unsatisfied. I have ordered from here about 3 times and it's usually 6 months to a year apart and I forget what I didn't like about it. The crust looks good in pictures, but that all changes when you take that first bite. The one saving grace here is the garlic knots. They pack those with a lot of flavor and the dough is really nice. Million Dollar idea Maybe they should use the garlic knot dough for the pizza, and put the garlic and parmesan spread on the pizza crust. Ask them to put that spread on your next pizza and thank me later. Ps - please ask your customers to wait outside if it's packed. You can't get in or out of your business, it's hard to order and its a fire hazard. It's very easy to say please wait outside and we will let you know when your order is up. read more

Oh wow!!! This place is soooo yummy. My husband and I were downtown and decided to try this place. We both got a slice each and one extra to split. They use fresh ingredients, delicious recipes, have great employees and know pizza. When you go to Hella Pie you can expect their weekly staples; Pepperoni, Vegan Margarita, Cheese, and recently CBR (Chicken, Bacon, Ranch), but the truly unique thing about them is they also have a weekly special. Their specials are not your average pizza, each week they create a perfect combinations of unique flavors and fresh ingredients. They even use locally sourced ingredients when the can! All the specials are great, but hands down my favorite is The Hell Boy! Sopressatta, Basil, Fresh + Shredded Mozzarella with Red Chili Flakes and Mikes Hot Honey. Yum Yum! Although their classic Pepperoni Pizza is the best Pepperoni Pizza I've had, each special is worth a try! As an added bonus they sell by the Slice! I have loved Hella Pie Pizza from the first bite, but when they added Homemade Ranch and Garlic Knots to the menu, this became a weekly must have meal! Quickly found them at the Tracy farmer's market and was excited and impressed to see them open their own restaurant in the middle of a pandemic. The employees are always friendly and it is clear they care and the company cares about them and the community. Although I missed my Hella Pie the week of Thanksgiving, I admire a company who gives their employees time off for the holidays. I can not tell you how grateful I am to find a place with halal Pepperoni and vegan cheese. With my sons dairy allergy cutting out the dairy has been so difficult but Hella Pie Pizza has given me back some comfort in food again with their vegan cheese option! Finally had the opportunity to try them out at the Tracy Farmers Market and I'm glad that I did. Ordered their margherita pizza ($15) and a packet of Mikes Hot Honey ($1 or $2) to drizzle on the crust. I did have to wait about 15 min until my order was ready which is due to the amount of orders these guys get at the market. I saw some customers order 5-6 pizzas at a time!!
