Nothing irks me more as when a server takes it upon themselves to upgrade my drink order with a top shelf liquor when I didn't specify. If I wanted my drink to have an additional $2 upgrade for a specific liquor I would have asked for it. Its so obvious that padding the bill to get a larger tip is the end result here. No direction for customers. I asked a waitress how long for a table. She answered I don't know. Finally was ready to walk out and the bartender got the manager. He got us a table. But do to his incompetent cook I received raw wings. My dinner came out and that was good. I hope they can improve. It could be a nice place. read more

worst experience I've had in a long time. I took my father there for father's day around 3 pm, the place was half full, most of the customers had either already eaten or were in the process of eating. we were sat, and greeted promptly by our server. we ordered a couple of burgers, mine medium. the food came out quickly, but my burger was way overcooked. now usually I will just eat it when that happens to me, for some reason anytime I order a medium burger anywhere I get it well done, that's life. but I had been dreaming of this burger all day, so I politley asked our server to remake it for me, even apologizing to her. she apologized as well, and even came back a few minutes late to verify how I wanted it cooked. my father ate his burger, and I sat... and sat and sat for 25 minutes until it was finally brought back out to me. I requested a to go box, then checked the temperature of my burger, which was once again overcooked. there was no manager in sight, so i paid my bill and left. I'm the head chef at a local restaraunt, I know how frustrating it can be having food sent back, which is why I apologized... but I also know that 25 minutes is an unacceptable ticket time, especially for a 6-8 ounce hamburger patty. maybe they were busy, but from what I saw, only one other table came in and ordered food while we were there. this was my first and last time eating here; aside from our server, who was very apologetic and friendly, the service was terrible. I hope the kinks are worked out in the kitchen, I had high hopes for this place but was left disappointed. read more

The only reason this place deserves one star is the food. It was decent. The burger was good but over cooked from what not only myself but my friend order. Another in our party asked for mashed potatoes instead of fries and the waiter clearly did not listen. Our waiter seemed like he had been drinking and was intoxicated. Not only did he not listen but when he came over to ask if we wanted dessert he did not take two very obviously done plates. He did not drop the check off, and some young girl who looked like she was supposed to be the hostess did but still did not offer to take our empty plates. He came over a second time and still did not take our plates. Finally we put them on another table that took someone ten plus minutes to bus. The music was way to loud for such a small place and all our waiter seemed to care about was socializing with the other staff and patrons drinking at the bar. The fries were half cold and honestly it wasn't worth the food. I would not recommend going there. Not worth your time or money. read more

Love Henrys! It's our go-to place when we are craving pub food and a nice atmosphere. I have had the Cobb salad, eggplant appetizer, chicken pesto sandwich and turkey brie sandwich. Each were delicious and tasted fresh. The staff are friendly and we never have to wait long to be seated or for our food. However, the place is small so if you have a group larger than 4, I'd suggest calling ahead. It can also get cold in the place during the winter because it's small and people are walking in and out, but that doesn't bother me much because it's understandable. The live music is great and it has a small-town, cozy atmosphere. read more

The first time I went to this place the food was delicious and there were no problems. The second time I went the service sucked but the food was still good. The third time I went the service and food sucked. There was hair on two of the sandwiches and paper from the cheese packaging left on the sandwich. I will not be returning to this place ever again. We tend to do the lunch thing more than the dinner thing. You usually have to compromise between a place that has great beer and so-so food or a place with great food and a so-so beer selection. No compromise with Henry's - great food and beer selection. Last visit my wife had another awesome burger and I went with the turkey sandwich special. We like their sweet fries. I also got to enjoy the Great Divide Hibernation Ale; one of my favorite beers and the 1st time I have seen it offered in the area. Great lunch! read more

Its a very nice place for a neighborhood get away. The live music is great. The decor is beautiful. The service is good. The food is average. If they could step up their game with the food and the menu, they probably wouldn't be able to handle the crowds. read more

Super cozy place with good service. We went in for lunch with our kids on a Saturday afternoon, got seated right away exactly where we wanted. The food was great and the beer selection is very nice. They also had the fireplace going, which we all loved. We will definitely go back. read more

I've given Henry's another chance...a few actually. The service has improved significantly since my first visit almost a year ago. Now that I've had the chance eat there a few times, the food is very good. I love the fish and chips and the burgers. So I'm happy to give Henry's a better review. read more

I have been here for lunch several times and every time I come here the service is absolutely HORRIBLE. I have had the same waitress (dark brown hair, tattoo on the back of her neck) that is overall just rude, inattentive, and bad at her job. How does she even get tips with an attitude like that? She acted like she couldn't care less about waiting on us, and generally ignored us until she absolutely had to come over. Funniest part is, I'm not going to tip you if you act like that. Period. It's not my fault you hate your life/job/whatever so don't take it out on the customers. You should try changing your attitude if you expect people to give you tips. This is not rocket science. Henry's needs to do a much better job at hiring people who actually give a crap about being there. Based on other reviews that have complained about the service, I know I'm not alone in feeling this way. I probably won't be going back. read more

1st visit. Arrived to eat, no hostess, got the attention of the bartender and pointed to high top to which he nodded yes. Ordered the reuben, wife got the seafood special. Food arrived and here's where it went a little downhill. The seafood was delicious but my reuben's marble rye was burnt black on the bottom. An easy fix but no server came to check back. Finally got his attention and he promptly ordered up a replacement and gave me a free beer. In the end he ended up comping all the drinks, 2 beers and a margarita. I used to really like going to Henry's. I'm not quite sure what happened but 3 out of my last 4 visits have been terrible! I got undercooked chicken and when I asked to have it cooked just a bit longer got attitude from my waitress. It was kind of busy so I figured it was an off night. The next time I went was with a few other people and we got an appetizer, sodas, and dessert. The waitress never came to refill our drinks, never checked on us, and stood behind the bar talking to the bartender. I finally took our cups up to the bar to ask for more to drink and was met with rudeness. Tonight was the final straw. I went with 2 other people for dessert. They said it would be a bit for a table so we decided to get it to go. I asked for 3 pieces of peanut butter brownie pie with ice cream. After 20 minutes I finally went to ask how much longer. When I said "excuse me" to the bartender she responded with "it'll be out in a minute". The couple that came in almost 10 minutes after I ordered was already getting their food. They handed me my bag and I left. When we got back to our destination I opened the containers to find it never got warmed and there was no ice cream. I did call and go back to get our ice cream and got an insincere apology and the bag was shoved at me. Not professional and the final chance. I'll go across the street to Brickyard instead and get better service. read more

Poor service, poor food. I don't need to go back. The crowd was thinning out when we got there but it took a long time to give our order and even longer to get the food. The waitress was distracted and not interested. We did not get everything we ordered. My burger was thin and overcooked. read more
