Review: Came in for something quick to eat. They serve serval different styles: Mexican food, Asian food, greek, etc. I went for tacos, something I didn't think you could mess up. I had 2 shrimp tacos, and 1 carnitas. They only put 2 shrimp pieces in each taco. Not enough for the price. The salsa mixture they put on the tacos is mostly liquid and made the tacos so soggy, they fell apart. The salsa mixture was gross and mostly tasted like cream corn out a can. Thought I was going to have better luck with the carnitas taco, also very disappointed. Meat was dry & bland. Location: located in a plaza with many other places. Parking wasn't an issue. Seating: They have a indoor and outdoor seating. Their outside patio eating area is nice & casual. Service: Workers were quick. Didn't have a wait. My boyfriend and I ordered: - Banh Mi as a wrap - OG Dirty Fries (waffle fries) When we were ordering, they unfortunately just ran out of the Banh Mi Dutch Crunch bread so we ordered it as a wrap. They were nice enough to allow us to add rice so the wrap wouldn't be soggy. Definitely wanted to try the Dutch Crunch bread though! The Banh Mi was DELICIOUS. The lemongrass pork had a taste that complimented perfectly with the sauce they added. I've had Banh Mi sandwiches from Westminster and other areas but the one here was special in that all the flavors meshed perfectly. Wouldn't say it's super authentic, but it was in fact so good my mouth waters thinking about it. The OG Fries.... wow the sauce IS REALLY GOOD. The pork was juicy and the waffle fries could've honestly been crispier but the best part was the sauce. They make it fresh so the waffle fries were piping hot. The environment was nice and spacious, pretty covid-friendly as we got the chance to eat inside. The inside has cute designs too. Got the tacos (1 of each), Dirty Fries and the Tikki Masala wrap. The tacos are good portions and the Dirty Fries are AMAZING! Waffle fries are thick enough and crispy enough. I ordered delivery based off these great Yelp reviews. I was very excited for the food after a long day of hanging out in Napa with family for the holidays. The food arrived stale and cold. My rice in my rice bowl was hard, as if it had been left out to be cold and only slightly warmed up. My husband had the steak sandwich and Vietnamese coffee. About an hour after eating it, he threw up. They also didn't give us utensils as I requested so we couldn't even eat it when we got it because we are traveling and staying in a hotel, and obviously don't have utensils with us. We had to ask the hotel front desk to find some utensils for us. I'm not sure if the experience is the same for eating in person, but our delivered food was low quality and just not good. read more

I know I live in a diverse area but the food here is way too diverse for me. I ordered the Texas Beef and the Pork Belly Bun. The beef has an overly sweet Indian flavor to it, the tomato made it taste like Mexican food, and the rest of the garnish made it taste like a bland American salad. The pickle jalapeños and rice were good though. The pork belly in the bun was over cooked but the bun itself was fluffy with no flavor at all. Also, the cabbage took away the flavor of the pork. There's just way too much going on with the food. I think the price, at least for the pork belly bun, were overpriced. read more

One of the best places to eat, hands down. We ordered the Bahn Mi on a Dutch crunch bun, the Papa K on a bed of waffle fries, and the lychee tea. When I come to Napa I love to come try new foods and my go to's. This time I chose to go to heritage eats on May 22nd at around 7:30pm. Let me say as I walked in the whole vibe was off. The GM Anthony Calderon really surprised me for the way he was so unprofessional with his employees I mean I cannot believe he would act in a way that he would embarrass his employees in front of customers. And to be fair it was almost closing time but even then professionalism does not leave out the doors. Saying F**k multiple times throughout the time that I was waiting on my order, also instead of standing there and acting as a big child complaining about "why is my food not going out" and "why am I missing my fries?" I would have left the little corner I was standing in and get in and show my employees how things need to be done. read more

This place is decent for healthy fast food. They create the dishes, chipotle style and you seat yourself. You have the option of choosing from a variety of cuisines - there is something for everyone. For food that will please everyone in your family, you gotta go to Heritage Eats. Your meal is completely customizable. You choose the bread, meat, rice, and toppings. The choices there are endless and from all around the world. There's chicken tikka masala, banh mi sandwiches, and more. They also offer pre-set combos that are amazing as well. The lemongrass pork banh mi is flavor explosion. The meat is flavored really well and the pickles cut through the richness. The dutch crunch roll it is on is a plus as well. I also had to try their baos. A bao is a steamed Asian bun that's very delicious. It is made even more delicious with all the fillings inside. A bao that I liked was the chicken masala bao. I built it myself, choosing what exactly I wanted on the bao. A custom meal is always a good idea because you're sure to love it! read more

i ordered take out and definitely wasn't disappointed. pork belly bao and waffle fries waffle fries were nice and crispy. perfectly seasoned. i like that they didn't put them in a box so the weren't soggy. not oily either. pork belly bao was very good. every was separate so you built them yourself. bao was wrapped in foil which it kind of stuck to so i had make sure i removed all the foil. pork belly was prefect on its own. my only complaint is everything should have been portioned differently. way too much slaw was given. could've used an extra bao. the side of pickled veggies didn't have much cucumber or daikon, mostly carrots. read more

This place is located in a nice plaza and the service was excellent wait was short and the food and drink delicious! We ordered the dirty cowboy fries, pork belly bao bun, and the Lobster Roll. Just a heads up most of the dishes are meant for take out so when you receive your items they don't come assembled. We also grabbed the Taro MilkTea and Horchata as drinks and both were good. We always love visiting this vibrant, busy, family-owned, and warmly styled restaurant. We often pick up take out which is easy to order through their app and is always ready when promised. When we go in, we see how well organized they are as the line flows through. The food is innovative and seriously delicious. When we're feeling decadent, the dirty fries with a variety of toppings are amazing. I like the one with steak and cheese and other yummy stuff. When I want to be a bit more restrained, I order a bowl with salad under the proteins. Their shrimp bowl is amazing... the shrimp is perfectly seasoned and cooked, and every bite within the bowl has sufficient sauce and flavor while tasting light and satisfying. Honestly, where the chef/owner shines most is in his sauces and seasonings. This is true for every dish. He also hires hardworking, sweet staff that seem to genuinely care about the customer experience, with a range of ages and backgrounds. We love visiting this place! read more

Heritage Eats is a sweet restaurant gem, hidden deep in the back of Bel Aire Plaza. You cannot see Heritage Eats driving by on Trancas Street. You have to go all the way back (to your right), to the very end of Bel Aire Plaza - to see and eat at Heritage Eats! When walking in, you are directed to the front of the line, which is on your far right. At first, can be confusing for the newbie. Because the menu gives you many choices and it's really all up to you, what you get. You can pick one of the customized meals. If you get a customized meal it is a flat price, anywhere from $9.59 up to $12.00, +Tax. You may add some items on your customize meal, and likely incur an additional fee, like $.50 or something. Or you may create your own bowl, wrap, salad, or sandwich! It's all good! The only dish that I don't care for is Heritage Eats fried Brussel sprouts. They must not have their fryer hot enuf b/c the vegetables are dripping with oil. IMO. Which is disappointing for me coz I like Brussel sprouts!! I enjoy fried foods. However, I cringe when my favorite foods are too greasy. I've had them twice. I'll steer clear from ordering them again. And YES, I will happily return to Heritage Eats again & again, as everything else is tasty & brings a few Ethnic dishes to Napa (that are hard to impossible finding in Napa County). read more

I have been to Heritage several times over the years and have not been disappointed once. It's always very clean inside (seating areas, countertops, and the prep kitchen area) and the employees are always friendly & quick. Today the gentleman helping us was very kind to describe flavor profiles because we couldn't figure out what type of dirty fries we wanted (ended up choosing the cowboy fries). I've been meaning to try this place out for years. I finally did and in a week's time, I've come back twice! I definitely recommend their Pork Belly Bao. Get a side of the gojuchang sauce because it's so good. And don't forget the crinkle fries! It's so crunchy. I was offered to dip it in the Boom sauce today and that was a good call! The men who work there were super friendly and welcoming. The only thing that was "meh" were the drinks. I tried matcha and viet coffee and they were both watery and the price was pretty high for what it is. Really flavorful, cooked to perfection. I will say I thought it was over salted though. My wife got the pork in a rice bowl, and I think that worked better, the rice and the added ingredients in the bowl blended better, and the saltiness was not a factor in her dish. Heritage Eats is a casual dining place - think a notch above a Chipotle - that borrows heavily from the Chipotle build-your-own meal design. You can get a wrap, you can get a bowl, you can get tacos or a sandwich. The food has exotic names and sounds like it will be chockful of flavor -- oooh! Jerk Chicken! Lemongrass Pork! Carnitas and Banh Mi, oh my! With all of those interesting sounding items, I was excited for a flavorful, maybe spicy, but tastebud tantalizing experience. And... Where's the flavor? Umm. This has no spice. This is bland. What the heck is going on? Are the tastebuds of my fellow Napans sleeping? Has boring flavor become so prevalent that they think that's what a Banh Mi is actually supposed to taste like? Fresh food with excellent service. We have been ordering on Door Dash for a while, but I was nearby and decided to pick up a late dinner. It was 5 minutes from their closing time (I was prepared to be turned away), but I was welcomed with a great attitude as well as attention to detail in the preparation of my To Go order. Went in today for lunch and they were featuring a Canadian menu with Poutine! I got the Poutine Fries and they were incredible. My boyfriend got the baja shrimp tacos, which he normally orders from here. I've also enjoyed their salads, and jerk chicken bao buns. Sooo good!! Food is ALWAYS fresh and hot.
