NOT JUST A BOBA SHOP I've known hiccups for a long time. From their original location, the Carson location and its current one. I've always considered it just a place for drinks/ dessert. Never really needed to get food from them. But the food SLAPS! I had I had the ribeye pho and it was better than I expected. Didn't taste watered down, and the ribeye was great! Comes in a small bowl, but half of it could have been enough. I underestimated the pho so I had ordered extra popcorn chicken and fries. Holy, the portion is huge. I thought it would be small. It was super fresh, and extremely hot. Cajun seasoning optional. I recommend. Have a meal here, it's not just a boba shop.

It's a pretty amazing place to eat esp with mixed amount of food to choose from. Wasn't expecting much coz we just wanted a quick meal but to our surprise their food actually tastes flavorful for a cafe. Impressed by the amount of chicken placed too on their pad se-ew. The place is clean and definitely great service as the server was anticipatory of our needs etc. Highly recommended

My brother recommended this spot, especially their popcorn chicken. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to try it this visit, so I ordered the Sea Salt Green Tea instead. I really enjoyed the tea--the flavor paired perfectly with the creamy sea salt foam on top. The space is spacious yet cozy at the same time, making it a great place to relax and hang out. I'll definitely be back to try the popcorn chicken next time.

Soo good! I've came here and ate the special with the chicken and rice bowl. It's a nice environment! The matcha ube was good! Definitely recommend for those who want a good lunch spot near CSULB and the VA

I've been here a few times, but this is my first time writing a review. This location off of PCH and seventh grade, is very clean, open, and bright. The ambience is great and there are plenty of tables to sit at. The workers are friendly and very helpful. The display is nice and bright. The food is amazingly delicious and it does not take longer to get your orders. I will be back for more. Today, I ordered a fried chicken bowl with rice and it was delicious. Come and check them out. Wow, the food is so good (popcorn chicken lunch bowl is $10 with rice)...

Stop by on the way to the gym to pick up some VNese coffee since I got a coupon for buy one get one free. They just open so very quiet, clean spacious with minimal decor and music. The place is tuck in a small shopping mall area with Target, shops, restaurants and a bank. The menu is with pho, noodle dishes with appetizers. Prices range from $10 and up. Also coffee and boba drinks. The service is good. Will have to come back to try the foods. Ps, the coffees were not completely filled with ice, it's more of 1/3 iced and 2/3 coffee- good coffee, was hoping more stronger sort of slap in the face to wake me up asap...lol

The food was amazing, my favorite being the garlic noodles (MUST TRY when coming here)!! The $9.95 chicken rice bowls are also a really good deal! We got the popcorn and shaken chicken bowls, SO GOOD!

So was disappointed that I had to pay for two shaken beef plates with noodles that did not come with a salad as the picture show and I explained to the waiter he said that we didn't get a salad cuz we did not order the rice, what? Nowhere did it indicate that on the menu either, I guess he thought about it and came back with a salad for me and my husband to share and apologized. So into the meal the beef was tasty however the noodles were soaked in grease I didn't know how bad it was till I looked down at my shirt and my husband's shirt and saw all kinds of grease on our clothes that dripped off the noodles. The noodles were good but I don't believe all that grease was necessary as you can see in the photos it comes with green onions the sauce on it was tasty just not good or healthy with all that oil on it.

My friend and I shared a variety of dishes: -Student Noodle: If chow mein and pad thai had a baby, this would be that dish. Without the fish sauce, the noodles tasted like chow mein. This dish overall was good! While I would still opt for pad thai, the noodle texture was good and I enjoyed the flavors. We got this with crispy pork and it was tasty, but I wish it was crispier. I liked how it wasn't too fatty. -Fish Amok: It did not look like the picture, but the dish was still good. It was a sweet fish curry which was sweet from the coconut milk. This was tasty and the fish was soft. It wasn't fishy at all. This paired well with the rice. I would still opt for a savory curry though. -Beef Skewers: These were yummy and I enjoyed the charred flavor of these! The flavor was very similar to Filipino skewers. I liked how even the fatty parts were enjoyable. Steamed Rice: Fluffy and not mushy which I liked. It came served in this cute rice bucket which preserved the heat of it. The restaurant was decorated nicely and was pretty clean. Bathrooms available which were also clean. The service was good and attentive. There's lots of free parking in the lot in front. Overall, a solid Cambodian restaurant that's worth checking out in the Long Beach area!

The beef itself was a little chewy and in large pieces. I prefer the meat to be cut a little smaller and would like more lettuce and cucumber. I got a little taste of the spicy fried rice, which was really good. Some of us ordered Thai tea and didn't expect what we received, which was the tea with a Thai tea popsicle. What a treat! Walk inside and--on this Saturday, January 3rd--it's still decorated for Christmas, which somehow adds to the cozy, unpretentious vibe. It's around 2:30 p.m. and the place is packed, which is always a great sign. We ordered the chicken pho with ginger sauce and the brisket & rare steak pho. You get the classic sides--lime, bean sprouts, basil--and we also added the crispy egg rolls, which came out hot and crunchy with a satisfying bite. The pho arrived piping hot, deeply aromatic, and comforting in that way only a well-made broth can be. They give you chopsticks for the noodles and a large spoon for the soup--exactly how it should be. The portions are generous, especially for the price. Around $12 gets you a big, steaming bowl that feels like a full meal, not a tease. The broth is clean, rich, and balanced--not greasy, not salty--perfect for a cold, rainy Long Beach day on the Cambodia side of town. I took my time with it, savoring all the layers of flavor, especially after adding sriracha and hoisin (which is absolutely the move here). The beef was tender, the rare steak cooked perfectly in the hot broth, and the noodles held up all the way through. What really stood out was the atmosphere. There's mellow, calming music playing in the background that makes the whole lunch experience feel peaceful and grounding--no rush, no noise chaos, just people enjoying good food. Come hungry. They give you a lot of food, and it's the kind of meal that's hard to stop eating even when you're full. The staff seemed very short-handed -- only three people working on a busy day. The kids were clearly trying their best (the daughter especially was multitasking hard) but they looked exhausted and the son came out in casual clothes and sandals like he'd just rolled out of bed. The dad had very poor customer service and seemed checked out, which made the whole experience feel unwelcoming. There were awkward moments when he took our orders. The biggest issue was the soup itself. It didn't taste like traditional pho -- something was off with the broth -- and unfortunately none of us could finish our bowls. We didn't say anything because we could see they were struggling. I hope this family can get proper staffing, train on customer service, and improve the kitchen consistency. With some adjustments, this place could really thrive. Right now though, I probably won't be returning
