Came on a quiet sunday afternoon when meter parking is free! Sat with our yappy dog in the outdoor rear patio. Chose seats by the bamboo trees vs table. Just ordered latte, strawberry tiramisu and a bloody mary. would come back and try the food it's a vibe!

Very highly likely you will enjoy this spot. This place is raved about by members of my church, head pastor especially. If you're going with a group and want to choose the best three menu items, it's going to be the Crispy Hippie Burrito, Chilaquiles, and the Kyoto Bowl. These are phenomenal for texture lovers. I love to have a crunch in every bite and each of these was perfect for that. I loved the chilaquiles especially and my mom devoured the Kyoto bowl. I'm a huge fan of this spot and find it highly likely you will be too.

Highly Likely is a solid place for brunch/lunch and is in our monthly rotation. I love their outdoor patio and all the options they have on the menu. There is something for everyone! I have been coming here for a couple years and really enjoy my experience every time. The staff is always warm and attentive. Some of my favorites are: Kyoto Bowl Spicy Chicken Bodega Sando Mediterranean Eggs Chilaquiles Will be back for more!

Great place to study. Food was tasty, we had fish and chips, the Mediterranean breakfast and the falafel plate. Madagascar vanilla latte, turmeric latte and a cortado. Parking was only street parking which was limited. Service was friendly. Decor was really nice, with an outdoor patio. It is highly likely I will come back!

Such a great experience at this new brunch spot my friend recommended. They have another location she's tried, but it was both our first times at this new location. Loved the location and set up of the restaurant, first of all. So open and airy and light. Love the bamboo/light wood aesthetic and the fact that so much natural light gets in. We came around brunch time on a sat and didn't wait too long for 3 people (maybe 15 min). The staff was super friendly, from the hostesses to the waitress (the one thing is that it did take a while to get our checks, but I'm sure she was just giving us our space because we were sipping and yapping, so totally forgivable). Drink wise, the Emerald City was such a sleeper hit. It's their take on an espresso martini with matcha, and I wasn't disappointed. I tried their Chaggaccino, which has the mushrooms, and it was surprisingly not bad and got me awake. Food wise, the open face Tuna Sandwich was amazing. There's turmeric in it and it was a bit spicy, but I really enjoyed it. I also got the Bodega, which was the egg Sando, was ok, but I've had better. Was a bit messy but still yummy, just not the best egg sandwich I've ever had. The Kyoto Bowl was something that stood out on the menu, but not what I expected, in a good way. I thought it would be more of a rice or grains bowl, but it was actually more soupy than expected! It is similar to an Asian style gumbo to me, and I actually really enjoyed it. If you're with a group, I'd suggest getting a few things and sharing family style. Definitely would come back, if only for the Tuna Melt, Emerald City, and Kyoto Bowl. We came for brunch, but will come back next time for the Yuzu Deviled Eggs, which are on the lunch Menu (starting at 3pm on weekends).

I had been wanting to check this place out for a while and finally got to go for lunch. It was around 1:30 last Tuesday. I don't know if it was due to being around the holidays, but the line went out the door. By the time we got inside there was actually enough seating. The line was all just to order at the counter. That aspect could definitely be organized more efficiently by posting the menu for those waiting in line to decide ahead. As it was, there was just a stack of menus in front of the cashier so most people spent time deciding once they got to the counter. As for the food, I was pretty hyped by all the pictures I'd seen. I ended up getting the Kyoto Bowl which was delicious and a unique combination of ingredients. The flavor was great and I especially liked the crunchy toppings. It was also way smaller than I was expecting based on photos. It was like a bowl of soup for one, not really for sharing. My friend got the Open Face Tuna Melt. The flavors were good but the texture was a bit unusual, almost eggy. I also got a Maple Leaf latte, which tasted nice but was small. I left with mixed feelings. The food was unique and enjoyable and I'm glad to try it. The service was friendly and welcoming and the space looks nice. However the pricing in relation to the portions, along with the wait time, give me pause.

I had a nice little coworking session here with a few of colleagues before I headed out for maternity leave. This is a good place to grab a bite and cowork with laptops up. As far as food goes, I absolutely loved the maitake toast and the bodega sandwich. Sidenote, it is metered street parking only.

Ordered the open face tuna melt and burger; both really good. Not sure exactly what was in the tuna but flavor was different but in a good way; burger cooked well and bun was soft. Had the hibiscus tea which was refreshing. Restaurant has some indoor and alot of outdoor seating. We sat outdoors and enjoyed the nice weather and cute area. You order your food at the counter before finding a seat and then they bring your order out to you. Nice place and good food, would definitely recommend.

I liked this cafe! Laptops aren't allowed after 5 for dinnertime as its also a restaurant! You can order food anytime though. I liked the textures of my fried fish sandwich, it was just a bit pricey at $18 after tax. I think the yuzu slaw and the pickles was good, but there can be even more zing(sour or sweet or tartar) to combat the grease, since i still felt really heavy after getting through about 2/3 of the little sandwich. my coffee was about $6, and my total was $25 for a light brunch. The barista wasn't too friendly but the food and drinks came really fast. Really busy inside and lively! Decor and interior looks awesome.

I've been here twice - one on a weekday around 12 and once on a weekend (Saturday at 11am). If you're going to go on a weekend, especially if you're getting there closer to 12 or 1pm - I'd recommend getting a reservation. This most recent trip we (party of 4 adults and 2 toddlers) arrived around 11am on a Saturday. There were 4 parties ages of us putting their names down. I would say the process of getting seating without a reservation was clunky - they were unclear what tables were actually available and they were not great communicators (in person or text) regarding when the tables would become available. Many of the parties had to go up and remind them several times that they were waiting and okay with first available (not just outdoor seating). They told us they were clearing off a table and it took them over 30 minutes to seat us. Anyways now to our food. Fish sandwich - every component was well executed from the bread to the fried fish. It came together really well. This was a relatively small sandwich and the side it came with was a small serving of pickled vegetables. Breakfast burritos - the breakfast burrito with sausage was delicious and the hot sauce had just the right amount of kick. Pancakes - fluffy with a simple yet delightful lemon layer on top Solid matcha latte - nothing too notable Overall, food was good and price was reasonable (less than $20 for entrees). Just get a reservation on weekend to avoid having to navigate the walk in process. Or go on a weekday for a more chill experience.

highly likely in highland park for lunch. the space is undeniably cute. lots of natural lighting, clean decor, and an airy layout. it's very aesthetic and a good spot to catch-up with friends. the vibes are relaxed, warm, and inviting. service was also quick and attentive. foodwise: maitake toast - earthy and creamy from the tahini. harissa greens egg sando (soft scrambled) - perfectly fine, but nothing special. falafel plate- crispy on the outside, flavorful, and one of the stronger items on the table. black sesame waffle - sadly disappointing. i was expecting a distinct nutty flavor, but it honestly tasted like a regular waffle. highly likely definitely wins on ambiance -- cute, bright, and beautifully designed. but food-wise, i wouldnt go out of my way for

Ask the Community - Highly Likely

    Is there free parking?

No. There's metered parking on the street, I believe, and a parking lot for a fee.

Yes, vegan options, and you order at the counter but can also flag someone down from your table and order more items.

It remains a unique addition to the neighborhood, as well as a good place to grab some interesting dishes. Since the opening of this particular business, the Zinc chain has opened in a few other locations. Those locations are much newer in not only their establishment but their design. This is not to say that this is still not an interesting, well-designed business, but, with time, it has become a little bit rundown. I hate to say it, but that is the truth. This location could really use an update and perhaps a deep cleaning. I was, in fact, kind of surprised at the condition of this business, for example, on the way towards their restrooms. From my opinion, it needs an clean up and an update. Also, the litter that surrounded some of the outdoor tables where I was sitting at my most recent visit was very surprising. This is just something to keep in mind if you're coming here for your first visit. In terms of what they offer for food, though it has evolved a bit over the years, they still have a great, heath-based menu, with some very interesting choices. For all of you vegetarians and vegans out there, you will, for sure, be able to find some tasty food to eat. Once upon a time, this restaurant was impacted with tons and tons of people. It was constantly full with people either going to the bakery and/or sitting down for table service. Shortly past their opening each day, there would be a line of people waiting for service. This seems to have changed, however. Meaning, if you're looking for an interesting place to eat, with some good dishes, at the far Southeast side of DTLA, near the lofts district, and you want a place without a long wait to get a table and/or your food, this may still be your place to go.

We could understand that it was busy but the waitress never apologized or said anything like they were understaffed or anything. Also, we had a few questions about the menu and our drinks and the waitress would just say, "I think so?" or give a vague answer. She didn't seem very knowledgeable about the menu at all. To be honest, I was already biased because his Smorgasburg pop-ups were consistently good. But Distrito Catorce is different , it's like art. My favorite dish was the tacos de papa with salsa macha. The crunch of the potato taco riding into the salsa macha and crema felt like home, but with some extra pop. His salsa game is on point. The scallion salsa on the ribeye taco was also gas. Lastly, I really dug the tostadita de atún. It hit perfectly on these hot summer days. Low-key, I still want to try the El Rey de Noche. Tacos de beef trompo are starting to hit LA, and dude was ahead of the curve making picanha-brisket tacos de trompo. Service is smooth too. The servers are helpful, and solid at the bar. Overall, it's a cool spot with a menu that feels unique to LA.

A few weeks ago, I tried a sample of a Venison burger at Sprouts and it was pretty amazing. I felt…read morethat I needed to try this here as well. My friend just flew in for a day because his relative had forgot her passport and needed to travel to Korea, so we stopped here. He missed a few meetings, a vet appointment and other things, but also saved the day, otherwise his relative wouldn't have been able to make it to Korea. While here, they ordered a salad with cherries and pecans that was pretty amazing. I think that may have been one of the better salads I've eaten. In addition to that, a cucumber burrata salad was ordered, and that was made well too. When my venison burger arrived, I took a few bites and it had the exact flavor I was hoping for and I thought the burger was done extremely well. My friend also ordered a pork chop, and it was an amazing cut, cooked perfectly, tender, juicy and everything you could ever want in a bone in pork chop. They also cut the entire piece for you and scraped every last bit off of the bone too. The service is really attentive. They come by your table a lot to ensure you have everything you need. The ambiance is a bit dim in lighting which sets a nice mood. And the place just happens to be dog friendly too. Sorry for the lack of photos, but I didn't wanna intrude on everyone else's meals. However, if you come here, definitely try the salad with cherries and the venison burger or the pork chop!

Great for pics The pop Benedict was good but not super filling, the eggs well seasoned and good sauce Bacon super bomb, if you like sweet Canadian bacon. Not a fan of the grits Tartar 10/10 easy really good dish to get to share Chile was okay nothing else besides sauce and chips 4/10 Ribeye steak very small like 6 oz steak for $58 it's great but not for the size and quality Great service, really fast and their mixed drinks were bomb too. I liked the melon one 9/10 Overnight oats is good too but on the higher end, 7/10 nothing crazy but still good If I go back the butter, burger and pop Benedict would be the move or bacon
