    Drinks at the hotel bar
    Michelle T.

My review is of the hotel bar and the "speakeasy" type bar upstairs. What a great concept to have the Hijinx Hotel right next to Holey Moley and have different areas/themes/activities throughout. The lobby has the luggage cart, which is so fun and cute. Then there's the "check-in" desk for information and more. The hotel bar lobby is where's its at! Usually there's some type of private party going on in the main restaurant area or the rooms but the bar seating was open so we sat there. The bartender was awesome, she was friendly and talkative and made us feel very welcome. We ordered a couple of drinks and everything was really good, craft style and quality ingredients. Love the vibe here with the decor, barstools and lighting. The speakeasy upstairs is such a fun, relaxing space. The entry is through the cute photobooth where a sliding door opens up into the beautiful red room. The chairs and tables and booths and even the bar are just gorgeous. It feels very private and comfortable. The drinks are a little pricey here, not surprising! We arrived right at opening, so 5 pm on a Thursday and it was just 2 of us and 3 other people came in and sat at the bar. Love that they have their own restrooms upstairs. I got two of the same cocktail because it was so good!

Came here for a company event and the place is a vibe! We did one set of the game rooms. Most of the games are fairly easy to understand, but also challenging and very interactive. Afterwards we also did a round of mini golf. I was surprised how well they utilized the space for mini golf. Obstacles looked small, but it didn't feel small when on the course. Food was okay, they had sliders, quiches, elote. Overall, would come back and do the game rooms/mini golf. Prices are about $20 for the game rooms and $10 for mini golf. Good spot for a date night.

Stopped by on a hot weekend afternoon. It's such a cool spot that does resemble the lobby of a hotel. A musician was playing outside with no audience because of the heat, but we ordered the large cold Turndown Service cocktail so we could sit outside and listen to him. His singing and interaction with us was the highlight of the visit, although the drink was delicious and made the heat tolerable. Can't wait to go back when the weather is nice and cool.

Super fun place to play, not stay. The entire interior is decorated fabulously, extremely eccentric, creative, and artistic. All of the challenges rooms are fun and unique. With up to 15 rooms to explore, it is bound to be a good time. Perfect for a date, party, or just a fun time. All of the staff are polite and explain things clearly. The kitchen and restrooms are shared with Holey Moley, and it has the same food menu.

Omg this place is so much fun! There's a ton of things to do from mini golf to drinks to games. I came in with a large group to celebrate a birthday. First, we stopped by the bar and had a couple drinks then headed upstairs to play some games. The whole place is set up very much like a hotel where there is separate numbered rooms down hallways. Once given directions you find out what room number to go to and then it kind of tells you where to proceed next. Every one of the games was so much fun, some challenging mentally some more physical all a really good time. There is also a hidden bar that you get to through the Photo Booth. It was super packed when we came inside, so there was nowhere to sit, but we still stayed and had a drink. We did not participate in the mini golf this time, but we will definitely have to come back and give it a try. What a fun place to celebrate a birthday.

What a fun place! This is located across from the Regal Theaters and is attached to Holey Moley, a cute bar/ mini golf center. The hotel is set up so cool! I love every inch of the decor. The rooms are so creative and great! We went as a party of six and had the best time!! Staff were great too! We will definitely be back again soon!!

The challenge rooms are so much fun and even my 5 year old had a blast. If you go Mon- Wed it's $4 off and they do charge a convenience to book your time slot online. I would love to come back with my family and do another set of 5 rooms. We can't wait to go back!

Was tired of doing a boring birthday dinner so I chose to do something a little different this year and I am soooo glad I did! We had a BLAST at Hijinx! You can reserve a party for large groups but I opted not to do that and just did games and dinner separately. I think the entire experience is super well priced. My group did 6 rooms. Each room is different and has different challenges. It took us about 30-40 min to go through the whole thing. I found all the challenges to be fun even as an adult. It great for all age levels above 5. Would def be back for the games! We had dinner at the restaurant inside it. However I would actually opt to get dinner somewhere else at the spectrum next time. If you do plan to do dinner inside I'd recommend reserving in advance esp if you have a large party. But if you want a more elevated dining experience I'd recommend somewhere else.

We visited Holey Moley to play some miniature golf, so we had to come check out Hijinx Hotel afterwards. It is right next door, and is also connected inside. It is decorated like a hotel, and hosts challenge rooms, private karaoke rooms, a sitting area, a sizeable bar and restaurant, and a speakeasy. Our main interest was to visit to the Suite 404 speakeasy. Go upstairs and look for the photo booth and you can easily figure out how to get in. The room is lit dimly with a black ceiling, red walls and furniture, and a black and white zig zag pattern on the floor. The room is dimmer than it appears in my photo. It has a nice, chill vibe. We sat against the wall, and it was definitely on the chilly side since there are air conditioning vents directly overhead. I had the Hidden Ember (Rye Whiskey, Sweet Vermouth, Campari clarified with Cream of Coconut, $15). It was a little on the sweet side as the bartender mentioned, and it had a pleasant light bitterness. She had the Raspberry Sour (Mezcal, Raspberry, Lime, Egg Whites, $15). It had a great balance of smokiness and sweetness with a light foamy top from the egg whites. Both drinks were good and very reasonably priced. I didn't catch our server/bartenders name, but she was very friendly and our drinks were prepared quickly. This is a cool place to grab a drink and relax in a calm, secluded atmosphere, unlike the rest of the Spectrum.

hour of play time. It ended up being just the two of us in all the rooms, which was really nice. I wasn't quite sure what to expect going in, but we had such a fun time and definitely worked up a sweat! My only complaint would be that the acoustics in some of the rooms weren't great, so it was occasionally difficult to hear the instructions.

Came to Hijinx Hotel and it was such a fun, chaotic game experience. We did the 30 minute session which ended up being about 5 different games. Spoilers ahead!!!! First off, the waiting area upstairs is already part of the experience. There's a free photo booth which is sooo cute and it actually leads into a bar which I did not expect at all. The whole place has this super extra, overstimulating decor but in a fun way. First game was basketball where you're just shooting into multiple hoops with these tiny balls. It was fun but probably the weakest one. The balls were hella bouncy and it didn't really match the whole hotel theme. Next was this huge tile room where you have to step on the colors it tells you. This one was SOfun and we were so close to getting a high score. Then we did the pool room which was the ball pit room where you have to throw balls into holes that light up. Not too hard but some of those holes are sooo tall!! highly recommend bringing a tall friend. After that we went into this kinda creepy room with a pig and you had to guide a metal rod through without touching the rod. I was sooo bad at this one because my hands are shaky and I kept messing up but the more u complete the more points u get. Last one was like a diner dash vibe where you're feeding guests and matching food to what's on the screen. At the end it prints cute receipt with all your points for each game and its one of my fave things of the experience. Overall I really liked the experience. The vibes are super unique and immersive even if a couple games don't fully match the theme. I would definitely come back to try the other rooms and see what else they have.

    Watermelon Fling
    Annie Y.

The place is super cute! We went to the speakeasy (located upstairs) and it was nice vibes and they have specific speakeasy alcohol menu. I ordered the Watermelon Fling, and it was a good refreshing drink. After that, we went downstairs to the main bar and ordered Loaded Brisket Fries and Apple A Day drink. The Loaded Bristet Fries were really good, but the sauce was a bit sweet. The Apple A Day was okay, it tasted watered down to me. Overall, cute place to hang out and chill. Recommendation(s): - Loaded Brisket Fries - Watermelon Fling Service: 5/5 Tip(s): - Park near the movie theater - Restrooms available - Speakeasy is located on the 2nd floor (Have fun finding it!)

Located at Spectrum and connected to Holey Moley is this gem. My girlfriend introduced this spot to me when she suggested the Hijinx Hotel for lunch. We sat in a booth by their bar and ordered some finger foods. We shared their wings, chicken lettuce wraps and the Elote ribs. They were all good but the elote ribs were my favorite. They were super flavorful and definitely delicious. The staff was super nice and attentive and food came quickly. Props to whoever designed this place. Every inch of it is thought out. Our dining area was beautiful. They had a cute "lobby" area which has stairs leading up to their speakeasy which was also super cute. The decor is super instagram worthy. They also had a private area to host large parties and karaoke. This is a great place for kids, large parties, or smaller ones. It's definitely worth checking out.

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the sweetest hostess at the front. I wish I remembered her name because she deserves a shout-out! She was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our request for a table right next to the DJ. That little gesture made a huge difference and really kicked off the night on the right note. Our server, Lex, was amazing! She was attentive, friendly, and kept checking on us throughout the night, even with how busy it was. Excellent service like hers is one of the reasons we'll definitely be back. The DJ was absolutely FIRE! We went on 90s/2000s Night, and every song had people singing and dancing. The energy was nonstop, and it was the perfect soundtrack for a birthday celebration. The food and drinks were exactly what we wanted for a night out. We enjoyed Pineapple Express cocktails, Jack Daniels, Palomas, Mexican Candy shots, Green Tea shots (because... birthday! ), Lagunitas drafts, mozzarella sticks, chips with guac and salsa, and chili cheese fries. Everything came out fresh, and the drinks were great. One thing I thought was really cool was that they did raffle giveaways throughout the night. We actually won a karaoke machine, which was such a fun surprise and made the birthday celebration even more memorable! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the restrooms. Unfortunately, they were in pretty rough shape. There was toilet paper all over the floor, one toilet was broken, water was leaking from the ceiling, only one soap dispenser had soap, and the whole bathroom smelled like a sewer. It was the only part of the night that didn't match the otherwise great experience. Overall, Punch Bowl Social is a fantastic spot for birthdays, celebrations, drinks, music, and a fun night out with friends. Great staff, an amazing DJ, fun surprises like raffles, and an atmosphere that keeps the party going. If management gives the restrooms some much-needed attention, this place would easily earn five stars from me. We'll definitely be back!

I've lost count of how many times I've seen a version of California Adventure's "World of Color". However, the problem is that I always seem to catch it while it has already started & I can never seem to fine a decent vantage point since literally every available standing space is taken & I keep getting ushered by amusement park staff to "keep moving along". Enter The World of Color Dessert Party. I wouldn't say that it's exactly a party, per se. Rather, it's a nice solution to all-too-common problem: Finding THE PERFECT spot to observe World Of Color without feeling cramped or forced to move. It's a roped-off area located in the Paradise Gardens Park - area directly in front of the water fountain spectacle. Most importantly, you get to SIT DOWN - a luxury that is only afforded to those who opt to "play-to-play". Is it pricey? At $94 / person (as of July 2026), it most definitely is. Is it worth it? I'd say, you should experience it at least once. Be forewarned. I feel like I spoiled myself, so when I came back a week later, I felt it necessary to make this purchase again. I appreciate that the price includes a dessert box with lots of yummy goodies, unlimited Coca Cola / Diet / Sprite / Bottled Dasani Water, & up to 2 specialty cocktails (or mocktails), beer, wine, or sparkling wine. However, don't sleep on the hot chocolate - it's chocolatey AF, & gratuity. The dessert box is a nice touch too. It includes 2 packages of Carr's crackers, assorted cheeses (brie, & a few other hard ones), assorted dried fruit, some pickled veggies, some decadent sweets, & a small, but delicious selection of sliced charcuterie. Inside each box is a sealed exclusive World of Color FigPin. Shoutout to Rosie & Maritzia for being the most splendid of servers. Seriously, don't sleep on the hot chocolate. We looked around and there were a bunch of unused lanes so we went to ask about that and the server told us we could just use any lane so we went to ask the girls at the counter and the girl at the counter was so extremely rude. It was such a turnoff wtf. The server was super nice though. We preferred to order with him instead of using the QR code because the internet is non existent in this place. And to use the WiFi, you had to put in your email, which I didn't want them to have my email. So that was annoying. We got a pizza, which tasted pretty good but was extremely greasy lol! The bowling itself was kind of weird too because all the pins had a string attached to them and that's how they would reset them. Which was crazy because I felt like the strings would sometimes prevent the pins from falling at times, messing up our game. Boo hoo. I do like the retro vibes with the music videos and Space Jam movie but the music was too quiet and they played Space Jam 3 times while we were there! Yikes!!! Lol overall, would maybe come back if it was the cheapest place but probably not otherwise!

We had a large, impromptu family event at Big Al's with about 19 people on a Saturday. We had…read morereserved four lanes, and some of our party was running a little late. The manager, Craig, was able to shift our reservation so the rest of our party could arrive without losing any time bowling together as a group. After we finished bowling, we decided to stay for dinner and let the kids play in the arcade. Craig was very willing to help us secure an area in the open seating so we could play games with the kids and have a home base for all 19 of us to gather and eat afterward. All in all, the staff at Big Al's was very pleasant and accommodating. Craig specifically made everything so much easier for our party, whether it was adjusting our reservation, helping us secure a table, or simply checking in throughout our visit to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely come back for future family get-togethers, purely based on the wonderful and attentive service we received.

My friends and I came here tonight to celebrate a friends birthday. We started our night with an…read morehour of bowling and the server and food was fantastic. We decided to switch to shuffleboard and that's when the issues started. We had originally ordered micheladas with modelo negra with our server, however when we started ordering from the bar, the bartender stated that they didn't have that beer. Not an issue but it just seemed weird since someone else from our group had ordered one 10 minutes before that. Then the bartender had an attitude when my friend tried to order 4 drinks for our group because apparently every single person had to be there to order their own drinks, even though we had already ordered with our server. Also not an issue but the attitude we were receiving was unwarranted. Then the real issue started. We went on with our night and they announced at 10:15 that this was last call and the last drink would be served at 10:30. We go to order a final round at 10:19 and the bartender says that last call is over. We think that's weird but finish playing our last round of shuffleboard. At 10:30 the manager announces that last call is over. My friend went to speak with the manager about the bartender lying and being rude and we were met with even more rudeness from the manager. The bartender yelled at my friend that he would meet him outside (I'm assuming to fight). Two of our other friends stayed back to try to speak with the manager and the bartender lied and said that what happened wasn't the case and that they were out of tajin (which wasn't asked for) and that we came after 10:30. Not once did the manager take anything we had said into consideration. After seeing how low the reviews for this location are in comparison to other Big Al's locations, I'm not surprised as to why. Not only do they have staff members that threaten physical violence, but they also have managers that think that behavior like that is acceptable. All in all, if you feel like you'll have a good time getting lied to, terrible service, and threatened, this is the perfect place for you. If you care about your family, I would not recommend coming here.
