I was mesmerized by the photos on Yelp of the pink walls and white table tops. What made me want to come was the tea service they offered--a nice pot of tea along with assorted desserts. Unfortunately to my dismay, I didn't notice some of the new pictures of the new decor. Same pink walls now clashing with dark wood like tables and black chairs. The disappointment I had, could not be put into words. It looks like they are transitioning into a restaurant. No more cute little cafe, no siree! I figured since we drove all the way here, might as well give them a try. We ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee (not authentic, there was no rich bitter taste), the brown sugar milk tea (boba honestly tasted like plastic or either because it wasn't fresh, texture was there, but taste was completely off), the signature milk tea (nothing signature about it) and the peach iced tea (their recommended selection), that was good and refreshing even at 25% sugar level. We also ordered food there. We got their special fried fish banh mi sandwich and their seafood special kimchi noodle soup. Let me tell you, their food redeemed them. The fried fish sandwich was a mix of savory flavors from a hoisin based sauce, to fried fish cake and Vietnamese herbs I normally wouldn't eat. The flavors blended so well, I was shocked and ordered another to go. As for the kimchi noodles, we got it with a level 1 spicy. Still a little kick, the noodles were chewy and soft, the seafood selection was worth what we paid for and the kim chi broth was delicious and not overpowering. The banh mi & kim chi noodles were 4/5 stars. The staff are very friendly and nice, very attentive and willing to help answer my questions. Drinks, nothing amazing but food items were delicious! Restrooms could use some work, all in all, I would come back for the fried fish banh mi sandwiches! P.s. during my time there, another party came in wanting to do the tea service and were told they do not offer that anymore. read more

Super cute boba shop with a nice range of tea and coffee drinks! Walking into the shop, I immediately loved the cute pink walls and decor. It's a great place to catch up with friends as there is a good amount of seating available and has a cute setting for pictures. I ordered the Lychee Jasmine Iced Tea which comes with lychee jelly and whole lychees while my friend ordered the Strawbery Oolong Iced Tea. I requested my drink to be 50% sweet but it was still a bit too sweet for me. I will get the drink at 25% sweet next time. I still really enjoyed the drink as it was fragrant, refreshing and the flavors definitely stood out. The customer service is excellent here. This was my third time enjoying their "Special Spicy Noodle Level 2," and it is so tasty. Their spicy sauce is very spicy so be mindful of considering the spice level when ordering. There is a lot of topping for the noodle and they also offer different drinks such as milk tea and fruit tea. The service is excellent, they work very fast and give out free water if the food is too spicy. The entrance is very cute if you want to check in and take picture. The spicy noodles is highly recommend, it reminds me of my childhood instant noodle but on another level :), skewers are also my favourite. Service is fast and precise here, I like that they use a scale to weight out each ingredient to get consistent drinks everytime. Another cute tea spot is in the area and I was glad my GF and I was able to check it out. Although it can get a little crammed in there it is a cool place to hang out. The interior is all pink and super cute. It is definitely photo friendly. And drinks were good. They had all different sorts of teas including hot and cold. We shared their Afternoon Tea Set which comes with two tea cups and a teapot. There was 3 options of loose tea leaves to choose from and we got their Oolong Rose Tea. It was very affordable. And because the girls working there were so kind, they gave us complementary macarons to go with our teas. How sweet is that?! The set was just so cute and came out on a tray with some crackers. It's much more affordable than any other afternoon tea place I have been to. Besides teas, they also carry food here. Not sure if they were good but we saw a lot of people come in to order their banh mi. They also had snack foods such as fries and desserts too. 100% would come back but only on a not busy day since it can get pretty tight sitting in there. Interior had a bunch of cool Lunar New Year decorations, ready for the Year of the Tiger :3 House coffee with cheese foam and lowest amount of sugar was still sweet enough to enjoy, and I definitely tasted the potent coffee. Jasmine milk tea with boba was not too light or too sweet, but I could get less sweet next time. I was able to detect a floral jasmine flavor amongst the creaminess. Boba was the very dark, very smooth, and very chewy kind (decent but not my preferred texture). Popcorn chicken pieces were literally the size of popcorn nubs, so I would have liked for them to be meatier and juicier. Grateful to the staff for throwing in free fried wonton skins with the popcorn chicken, though! That was so nice of them. Shrimp wontons were super crispy, with a tiny yet yummy bite of shrimp filling. Both popcorn chicken and shrimp wontons came with their own small container of sweet chili sauce. Hippo Loco is a new boba place that is very pink and cute. They have about 6 tables inside. I came during the $3 drink promotion and the line was so long but they made the drinks very quickly. I waited almost an hour in line and another 10-15 mins for the drinks. I got 2 drinks for myself and 4 drinks for my friend. I got matcha latte with boba (they ran out of cheese foam) and strawberry oolong iced tea. They were able to adjust my matcha drink to no sugar but the lowest sugar they can do for the strawberry tea was 25 percent. I thought the drinks were decent. I can taste the matcha unlike other places where it was just milk taste. I'm glad I got it with boba because the boba was good. The strawberry tea was refreshing, just a little sweet. My friend got blueberry iced tea, jasmine milk tea, thai green milk tea, and peach iced tea (no sugar for jasmine milk tea and 25% for the rest of the drinks). One of the drinks was not sealed completely and spilled in the car. My friend said her drinks were ok, nothing special. We were both looking forward to try the banh mi but they sold out. So sad I will need to come back to try the banh mi since I heard it was good. Overall, I would come back to try the banh mi and get the matcha latte again but with cheese foam. read more

We ordered the Cake Set for $15.50 which I thought was fairly priced considering it comes with a slice of red velvet cake, 2 croissants, 2 red velvet cookies and 3 macarons. We didn't want so many red velvet items so we asked to substitute the red velvet cake for the green tea crepe cake and I'm glad we did! It was really good. The macarons were not dry at all and were soft on the inside. The croissants were just okay. They also offer food here so we ordered some garlic fries which was good. For drinks, ordered the Thai Green Tea and Lychee Jasmine Iced Tea. I didn't know that the Thai Green Tea would have a coconut taste to it which I'm not a fan of but if you like coconut, you'll probably enjoy it. The Lychee Jasmine Iced Tea was refreshing and not too sweet. It's located in a small plaza and there were parking available. We came at around 7:30pm on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy. You could taste both lychee and jasmine, nothing was too strong. I would get this drink again! On my second visit, my friend and I got the afternoon tea set with the moonlight signature tea and the cake tower. The tea was fragrant and fruity. You don't need to add any syrup as it was good on its own. The treats on the cake tower were a good accompanient.
