My bf booked an appointment for new years day and man, how have I not done this in the past is beyond me. Way to enter the new year all super relaxed :) making an appointment was easy. Just call, book a time, and show up the day of. They confirm your appointment via text. Upon arrival, Amy quickly brought us into our couples room and gave us a few instructions: clothes off, put towel on back. I just draped the towel fully across my back covering my shoulders to my ankle. You can choose to wear nothing nothing or just the undies. They will massage your bum but leave the middle covered with a towel. Anyways, in the beginning, the ladies knocked to see if we were ready, and once we were, they quietly entered and got straight to it. They tell you to let them know if anything causes you pain and that theyll readjust. They check in on you throughout the massage to make sure it feels good. They started with the back, from top to bottom, on towel, then under towel with oil. Then flip you over for the front side for the the forehead to scalp, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, thighs to feet.I was so happy my masseuse didnt have long nails and that the ladies werent on their phones or chatting during the massage, which happened elsewhere in Pasadena :x. Tips for the ladies: come with no make up, hair loosely tied up so that they can massage your neck and scalp, and no jewelry. Parking: free street parking Service/professsionalism: 5/5. Werent chatty or had long nails Location: easy to find. Literally on the corner of the street They take venmo :). Tip was added on venmo and Amy transfers that amount into cash for you to hand to the ladies that massage you Pressure: just right. Not to rough/painful, but just enough pressure to feel the relief and feel good. You can ask for either lighter or more pressure, but if not, theyll keep it medium pressure which was amazing for me I will definitely be back and make it a routine thing :) Shoutout to Amy and the ladies that massaged us. read more

The outside of the salon has curb appeal. A few areas were not satisfying. First, there is no assigned parking and that can be problematic for fear of getting a ticket. Next, as you enter the building it had a distasteful smell that permeated throughout the building. Then, the manager or owner was quite disorganized. She didn't know what room to use for my massage. Lastly, the foot massage did not include soaking of feet and little oil was used throughout the massage. I think the owner is trying her best however, the smell was so awful in the building that it really takes away from the ambience. I don't plan on going back. read more

EXTREME VALUE: $29.99/hr REVIEW This was my boyfriend and my first time here and we thought this place was pretty good to the point where we will come back again. This type of massage is literally located by the front door to the left behind some curtains. The massage itself was pretty good because they tackled each part of my body - head, shoulders, knees and toes hahaha, but they actually did hit each part of my body. In the beginning, it was really weird because she massaged my back and neck while I was on my back, so I felt like she was stretching my shirt. She used her knuckles, arms, and thumbs (man those thumbs were solid). I exhaled deeply a lot so she did check the level of roughness or strength she was using to ensure my massage actually felt good and wasn't breaking any of my bones. The only thing I didn't really like was that my boyfriend had his face massaged and I didn't. Wah. But overall, very comfortable. My upper back did feel like I was bruised up the next morning but that was all her thumbs. I would definitely come back and try the $29.99 massage again. You get what you pay for. My husband and I got $25 massages which included head, neck, back, arms, legs and feet. We had Candy and Wendy. My husband LOVED Wendy and said it was one of the best he had. I enjoyed Candy very much but felt she spent way too much time on my feet compared to other parts of the body and she kept hitting the same spot, which most people might like but I didn't. The massage alone was worth $25 or more. Expect to have your massage behind a curtain with others on the other side of the curtain. I can't relax hearing people walk by. It was also not clear if I had to take off my clothes or not so I did and left my underwear. They used oil which was messy. The worst was that I broke out all over my body in what looked like insect bites. My husband did not have this. I'm unsure if it was due to my bed or a coincidence but because of this I will not be going back. read more

Wow, Lisa just gave me the best massage of my life! (Hard/medium) She kept checking in with me to make sure I was doing okay, which I appreciated. First, there's an initial "dry" massage with a towel for 5-10 min. After the muscles are warmed up, the majority of the massage is oil on skin. There's an amazing 15 min section with hot stones, then a quick massage with hot stones and oil with a few hot stones sitting sitting on your back, palms and soles of your feet. After 24 hours of flying and sitting at the airport, my neck and back was so stiff. Now I'm feeling like a noooooodle. Amy at the front desk was very sweet as well. read more

My partner and I got a 90 minute couples massage to treat knots and tension in our shoulders and necks from working at computers/on Zoom all day. I moved to Pasadena this summer. My wife and I tried at least six places before finding HM Warm Spa. After the first time, we knew we had found our spot. Amy was very professional, and also welcoming, accommodating, and kind. We have been here six or seven times now. Every massage therapist has been top notch except one, and she was still four stars. The massage therapists are trained and experienced. They are able to find my problem areas and then concentrate on them. Unlike most other places where they just do their set routines. Mary, Wendy, May, Helen, Lulu and Angela.are all top notch! I guarantee HM Warm Spa is among the best in Pasadena and probably the greater LA area. Our experiences keep getting better and better. The owner, Amy, takes her customer's experience very personally. The few times I mentioned something that I didn't like, Amy immediately took action. HM has opened five years ago. The facilities are beautiful, and impeccably clean. The bathrooms were recently remodeled. There are 20 therapists and six rooms. All rooms can accommodate couples and some even have showers. Parking is usually easy too. I personally recommend you give them a try. I have no doubt that you will end up another fiercely loyal customer just like my wife and I!!! read more
