Gave it a shot because my neck and shoulder hurt. I didn't get the name of my masseuse even though she did a pretty good job. I liked that they were easily accommodating. I called ahead and they told me to come right in. I didn't like that I literally just had a towel to cover me on top. I'm 5' 2" and this did not cover my body while I was on the table. I lived in Shanghai for almost six years as an expat and got used to my 3x a week massages but haven't found the time to go as much as before. However finally decided to venture out based on the reviews and was pleasantly surprised. I got the one hour deep tissue massage which also includes the hot stones. I went to HM Warm Spa during COVID few days ago and I can't say enough positive things about this business. I called in first to see if they were open and safety measures. Communication was easy and I also received a text message from the spa as a reminder. Parking is available on the street from 1 hr to 2 hr around the block. I went on Sunday so parking was easy and there aren't restrictions. When entering, they greet you, give you sanitizer and get your temperature. After everything was good, I was lead to our room (couples massage) by our masseuse and we left our mask on and undressed. Our masseuses were amazing and focused on our upper and lower back when asked and we also got the hot stone massage. I felt safe and would definitely come back to get another massage soon. I didn't catch the name of my masseuse but that won't stop me from coming again to get another massage. I would recommend to bring cash to help out small businesses and I believe they would greatly appreciate it. read more

Came in for a hot stone couples massage today with Mandy and Linda and left so relaxed and ready for a nap. Pretty sure they worked out years of knotts in my back and shoulders. Great prices, perfect amount of pressure and our masseuses checked on us throughout the process to make sure we were comfortable. Yesterday was my second time having the luxury of getting a deep tissue massage here. I just so happened to get the same massage therapist Linda twice, and I absolutely loved her. The price is cheap compared to most places, especially for what you get. They were able to accommodate us last minute, and I walked out feeling so relaxed and all my knots that have been building up have been worked out. Can't say enough good about this place. The staff are friendly and welcoming, they offer great service at fair prices. Do not pass on the hot stone massage it was glorious. I walked out feeling great and super relaxed. I got a couples massage with my girl and she is finicky to say the least about massages and even she wanted to know when we could come back (which cost me in the months after but well worth it). I am writing this now cause in a covid world I have not been able to go and really miss my self spoiling moments and this place was a part of that ritual. I have been going to this place for a couple of years now. I always choose 1hour extreme value foot massage. The massage itself is pretty decent. I just want to make a comment about recent price hike. It was $29.99 for a long time and they raised a price to $39.99 a month ago - that's okay, I understand. Then just last week, I was told it's now $59.99 for the same massage. What!? The hike even doesn't make sense at all. Too bad that they lose a customer like this. The only pro is we were able to be seen on a short notice for a couples massage. The cons outnumbered the pros. The massage wasn't as good as I hoped, it was like going to one of the quick massage parlors you can find in Monterey Park were they just do random massages and finish with them smacking your palms and raising and dropping your leg to cue you that they are almost done. They played random therapeutic music rather loudly to drown out the occasional loud banging and thumping of the clothes dryer. I would definitely not return. I floated out of here after my massage. 90 min couples massage was everything me and my fiancé needed. This place is def no frills, but still very peaceful. I asked for medium strength and she wrecked me in the best possible way. Amy was able to get us an appt with just a few days advanced notice. The massage was very good, though I asked for reflexology and was given an all over. I wanted to like this space so much, but had the same experience as another reviewer. I was rushed out rather than given even a few minutes to relax afterwards, or offered water or something to leave in a balanced state. Several staff popped into the room, unannounced, within a few minutes of the session ending to ask, "Are you ok?" and one telling me she needed to clean the room. Found this spot on Yelp among many foot massage places, but this one called out to me because of its apparent cleanliness and good reviews. So, I made an appointment for 3. Upon entering we were greeted warmly by the owner and staff who were all set up for us. I had informed them that I'm pregnant and the masseuse I was assigned (Candy) was careful to give me a massage without making me uncomfortable at any point. My husband and cousin both said their massages were very good as well. The only slightly negative part of our experience was the occasional background noise of incoming/outgoing customers, phone call, etc. It wouldn't have been an issue had we not been in the front "room" in the lobby but after the massages got underway I was able to overlook this annoyance because the massage was good. I would suggest not having phones near a massage area, and sensitivity to noises distracting from a customer's experience. read more
