Amazing! Everything was well labeled for allergies and tons of gluten free options. Make sure to try the poi.

I had the spicy tuna one item. It was so good I had eaten a bunch before I took the photo! We went her 3 years ago and it never disappoints. Tuna was super fresh! Outside dinning, Hawaiian style ok to super casual! Must do when heading home from two step beach! Sorry I ate quite a bit of it before I took the picture. Good size portions.

Really good fresh poke right next to the highway really good nice clean place. Definitely a place to try if you're in this area.

Got a poke bowl and a pork plate. A bit too salty but not too bad. I think the ube lemonade is a mixture of Kirkland lemonade plus some ube coloring. Taste fine but don't expect too much.

Stopped by here last Wednesday. Parking out front. Got there at a weird hour so it was empty. Service was super friendly and local! Ordered the two choice poke bowl with south side sweety and spicy avo, side of kimchee cucumber. Got it to go, so I think that's why they put them in containers? Otherwise they have seating outside if you'd like to enjoy there. Plenty furikake on top too. Poke bowl was great. Poke was fresh, flavors were strong but not overpowering. Spicy avo wasn't too spicy. Really enjoyed the sweety! They have so many choices that I'll definitely be back to try more!! Side note: during lychee season, if you have trees, they do buy lychee for 50¢/lb (I think)!

Top is the Hawaiian poke we ordered from Honaunau. Middle is marlin poke and bottom is ahi poke from KTA.

We got the 1 pound Hawaiian ahi and they only filled it halfway so it was basically 1/2 pound but we paid for 1lb. We also got 1/2 lb kimchee edamame and 1/2 lb seaweed and ended up paying $45. No pricing on any of the menu, which is a red flag. Not worth it, and we got duped!! See picture for KTA poke for .95 lb same size container, filled all the way. Top container pictured is the ahi we got from here (only halfway filled). We also got marlin for 1lb (also pictured) and their 1lb boiled peanuts and .65 lb garlic edameme for just $48 at KTA! Just go to KTA!!

We stopped by here before our hike at Captain Cook. The poke was fresh and tasty. There is a large variety to choose from. The ube haupia was really good too. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the poke is on the pricey side

I'm giving four stars for the service and the fact that it's a family business but to me the poke was just OK. Maybe it was just an off day but the fish didn't have the texture that I would attribute to fresh that day fish and it didn't seem like it marinated for that long in the sauce. Now I'm not a poke master, but some of the other places on the island seem to have better. Still a cool little spot next time I go I'll try some of the other options.

So good! Walk up to order. Tons of choices. We each got poke and a side - Sweet Poke with corn/edamame salad and the Spicy Poke with potato Mac salad. Both also come with rice, which was cooked perfectly . The spicy was pretty spicy so be ready for that! All around delicious, fresh and pretty quick! Super easy to find too, right on the side of the road.

Zoomed by here while on our way from Kailua-Kona to Volcanoes National Park. It's a little roadside spot with an order window and some tables. Service was very quick and super friendly. There was a good selection of poke and poke sauces. I ordered the single choice poke bowl and it was plenty of food but it also comes in two choice options. The poke was super fresh and absolutely delicious! Give it a try if you're in the area!

Used to be my favorite poke shop! Some changes since I've last been. They moved into the old bbq spot next door. Same great options, salmon is $3 extra now tho. Price of sides not easily identified. DHawaiian poke was good, purple sweet potato was a bit chunky for my taste. They put everything in small cups now instead of on top of fish. Helpful staff to explain.

Homaunau is one of those road side places that most people overlook becoming it doesn't have a huge sign with lights and it's not a chain restaurant. I feel sorry for those that fail to stop. It was a few outdoor tables and chairs on a covered patio and you also have to order at a sliding window. The staff were friendly. But its places like this create some of the most amazing good. We ordered 4 types of poke and multiple sides. The flavors of everything were exceptional. The ingredients were super fresh. Honaunau is one of those special places you need to seek out and enjoy. Definitely on 'My Keepers List'.

Quick and fresh poke with multiple choices of flavors. Order at window and pickup at counter. There are tables outside too. We order a plate with 4 poke choices and 2 sides. Creamy spicy, California, spicy garlic, and Dhawaiian traditional, potato Mac salad and lihingmui lychee sweet treat. All are fresh and tasty. The portions are really small. Blame it to the 47. Should not be missed when you're in Kona

We ordered one small pizza to go and were happy to see how many options they had. Unfortunately for us, a lot of them included pork, which we don't eat. Still, I picked one pizza I was really curious about, and I was pleasantly surprised when they had no problem swapping pepperoni for chicken. That flexibility is always appreciated, and it never felt like we were limited just because we don't eat pork. We didn't dine in, but I noticed they have a really interesting cocktail menu, which fits the island vibe perfectly! To be honest, my husband wasn't expecting much, pizza isn't exactly what you come to Hawaii for, right? That's what we assumed. But wow, we were wrong. About 40 minutes later, back at our hotel (after a shower and everything), we finally sat down to eat, and the pizza was still amazing. Crunchy crust, great texture, and full, balanced flavors. We're no longer on vacation, but we still talk about this place and easily rank it in our top three food spots from our Big Island trip, which says a lot, because we're serious about pizza. If we ever come back to Hawaii (and I believe they have locations on other islands too), we will 100% be getting pizza from here again. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're visiting Hawaii

My husband got the fried opelu. Gravy and grilled onions are an additional 50 cents each. The pork chops were pretty thick and was enough for the both of us. Honestly, it wasn't anything spectacular, but I read and heard so much about it. They bring out 3 side dishes and tonight it was potato salad, a cucumber/imitation crab salad and shoyu long rice. Rice is served like in a Chinese restaurant in a big bowl and you scoop your own into your bowl. The service was very good, local style with her calling us aunty. So Kona, I love it! The hotel itself is over 100 years old and it is very nostalgic. Don't expect too much, it is home style cooking with local vibes.
