This new Honda Service place is horrible. I arrived at the service center at 9:05am and had to wait till 10:00am just to check in my car. I can understand waiting if I did not have an appointment but I had an appointment which was scheduled at 9:30 am. They have a horrible set up on who gets helped, I was waiting and cars who would arrive would get helped right away. It got to the point that I just wanted to leave because  they were taking a really long time but I ended up just waiting. I've been having a Honda for many years and would always take it to the old location and never had to wait that long. To top it off the advisor that helped  me was really rude. She had an attitude like she didn't want to be there and was being rude to an older lady who stepped inside because it was cold outside and she kept telling her to wait outside instead of offering her to wait in the lounge. I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS!!! I went to Keyes Honda at around 8 pm on a Thursday. I dealt with Marco and another salesperson. After selecting the car I wanted and going over the numbers, I was ready to sign for it, but it was getting very late. I suggested I'd come back the following day and sign for the car but Marco told me that Sunday fits better with his schedule. We agreed, and Marco wrote the terms of the lease on his business card. I asked him to give me a more official print out of the terms, to avoid any confusion later on, but he refused to do so. That Sunday, I came to the showroom ready to sign for my car and the sales "manager", Steve Askari, comes and tells me that the car would be more expensive. I show him the paperwork that I was given by Marco, and he laughs and says there is no way he would agree to sell the car for that price. Steve was extremely rude and insulting. He even suggested that if I put aside a few dollars every day, I'll be able to afford the car. I continued to tell him that its a matter of staying true to the agreement, rather than the difference in money. While we were talking, Steve got up off his chair and walked away. No handshake, no apology, no compromise. I asked to speak to another manager, but Marco told me that he is the main guy. I left the showroom and received a call from a manager named Alma. She called me to ask me if there's any way I could add another $1000 to the down payment. To be honest, I thought she was joking. I thought she was calling to tell me that we have a deal. However, she was serious. Once I told her that I don't intend on adding any money or changing the agreed payment she told me that "she did all she could" and she hung up on me. Keyes Honda didn't respect my time or my wife's time. Marco told us to come back knowing that no deal would be made. We sat in the showroom for hours picking the right car and negotiating the right price. Ironically, the price they ultimately asked me to pay is similar pricing to other cars with much higher MSRPs. Keyes Honda really screwed me over. Prior to going there, I went to several other dealerships and had some other options. When Marco confirmed with me that I'll be able to get the car on Sunday, I told the other salespeople (at other dealerships) that I won't move forward with them. Now, I lost all those deals. I would suggest staying away from this dealership. Go somewhere where they value you as a customer. read more

On 1/20/25, I purchased a vehicle from Honda Van Nuys. I was made to wait for hours for apparently nothing. I saw the salesperson relaxing in a cubicle doing nothing. I think they make you stew to wear you down. I was screwed in purchasing items that they said were worth over $4000 and ended up being a few hundred. I felt everything they did was dishonest. I got home and realized I didn't purchase the Honda Care package I asked for but received a policy from Century instead. I called Century and they were great. Said Honda hadn't even purchased their contract yet, so I had to cancel with Honda. I called Honda VN on and spoke to Jason Jhee who told me he could not cancel the service contract without me coming in person. Not legally true. He said he would have the finance guy Greg contact me. I was not contacted. On 1/24 I was called by Mgr Brian Sobel as to why my review of their dealership was negative with Honda HQ. I explained my horrible experience. He was rude and condescending. I emailed Mr Jhee on 1/29 for status and he said he forwarded my info. No response. I emailed him again on 2/6 and said I would go the the State Ins Commissioner. He responded asking if Greg reached out. I responded he had not. Again no response. I filed a complaint with the Insurance Comr. I stopped payment with my credit card. Finally, this forced them to terminate and credit the policy. I recommend never buying from these people. read more

Don't do it unless you've got both time and money to burn. I took the used car to the mechanic before purchase. The Carfax report didn't show it was in an accident, but all you had to do was lean down and look under the car to see it was and it was covered with a bad paint job. That wasn't even the deal breaker for the car, nor the rats that lived in the engine because there were rat droppings all about... The first problem was superficial, the second didn't affect the wiring -- it was the sleazy old salesman at the front who always tried to make awkward "funny" chit-chat as I waited for the salesman who was actually helping me. He first introduced himself in passing while I waited in the lobby by making fun of the salesman who was helping me, as if he was his big brother just making jabs -- we are not friends, I could care less if you are with him -- it's inappropriate. The second time, with this man's greasy slick back hair and highwater too-tight pants, he decided that he'd just see if I was interested in getting the car while I waited for my salesman... so he baited me with questions. When I said it would be based on price because of what was wrong -- he said they don't negotiate and put his hands out for the keys -- which uh you aren't my salesman wtf??? --- so I gladly put them in and walked out without a word. For the record, I fully intended to still buy the car at the price we had previously discussed... BUT not from a place like this that would hire such a rude troll. read more

Keyes Honda dealership @ Van Nuys is the most terrible place to deal with the most unethical staff ever that I have ever seen and experienced within my life. I flight from Sacramento to LA after about 5 days of back and forth communication with the sales person (Farid), and he didn't mention any extra fees and charges. After I met him, he told me that the car comes with (Protection Package) although it comes without a floor mat either. And guess what this stupid stuff cost? $2000 yes two thousands of ripping for a used car!!! Anyway, I tried to reduce the price as I came without knowing these fees and wasn't posted online, he told me that the car was just GONE. We were greeted by Victor upon arrival who informed us that Brenda was not available and he would take care of us. He was very helpful and took us on a test drive. When we were ready to sign the deal, the manager, Javier, disclosed that the car we were about to sign on was actually a used car- I wish we would have known this from the start, not after an hour of sitting there. I also asked Keyes to provide me with the number plate for the Odyssey's keys (that's a little metal plate that comes with your new car's keys - that number plate has a code that allows replacement keys to be made in the event you lose them) and was informed that Keyes "throws them out." The car came with 2022 tags, and I never received an updated registration, or updated tags. They said they were sending the registration in the mail, never received it. What I did receive was a notice from the dmv that my registration was late on my car and now I had to pay penalties. 2 nights ago the battery in the car began to leak and smoke. I take the car into the dealership today and they say they only have a warranty for 30 days on the battery lol. The people running this dealership are nuts.
