DO NOT COME HERE.... unless you want to be bullied, belittled and to have your credit harmed. When my lease was up I came here to explore my end of lease options. After being pushed and pushed to get a new car, I just wanted to keep the car I had leased. When they were not getting the desired results from me they asked to speak to my husband, even though his name is not on the lease and the car is solely in my name. Through much eye rolling and many jokes at my expense (from the man who was 'helping' me), they came back to me with an absurdly high offer. It wasn't until I got an alert from Credit Karma that I realized in this process the team at Keyes Honda ran SEVEN HARD credit checks on my account that day. According to CK, this is apparently a trick that dirty dealerships like this use to harm your credit so they can get more money. Finally I had decided to just return my Honda. Upon taking my car in to return it I was badgered for wanting to take pictures to document the car's condition (because I didn't trust them to be honest). The other man that accepted my car was also very belittling again asking to speak to my husband so that he could make a better decision than I possibly could. "Men just understand these things better sweetie" The hell was not over yet -- a couple months later they tried to claim that I owed more money on the return due to "damages" that didn't exist. Thank god I got the photos and was able to deal with the Honda financial center to work things out so I wasn't getting scammed. I also had to fight to fix my credit score thanks to them. Moral of the story is do NOT support this business. Find another Honda dealership or a Nissan for that matter. Save yourself a lot of trouble. Only one star because I had to. I don't know whether the salespeople get low commissions, or whether they just don't feel the need to provide good customer service because people will buy Hondas anyway. Anyways, I've had two poor experiences here. The first time a salesman didn't seem to want to give me the time of day. All the answers to my questions were incomplete and very curt. Even when we were searching on the computer, he took a cursory look and said they were out of stock for the exact model we were looking for(it was a common one). I knew he didn't look closely so I asked him to check again. The very next car he scrolled down to was the one we wanted. So not only was he rude, he was lazy. The second time someone who looked like a manager was kinda rude also, and seemed annoyed that I wanted to receive a lower price than the one he was offering me. Sorry, buddy, that's the business. What idiot would take the first "best" deal someone gives them at a car dealership? I was not rude or pushy, simply firm about what I was looking for. I received nothing but attitude on his end, not to mention another associate nearby who audibly scoffed and visibly showed his disdain at my questions. Honestly, you might think customer service doesn't matter that much at a car dealership as long as you have the numbers you want, but that's where you'd be wrong. If they're rude/inconsiderate/inaccurate from the get go, guess what - they'll be that way throughout the entire process. And when it comes down to finalizing the numbers, you may find yourself with some additional 'standard' fees and other such BS that salesmen will try to pull. I get the game - you're salespeople and work on commission, and want to squeeze every dollar out of me you can. I'm trying to find a good deal and lower the price as much as you can. I came to this location to discuss purchasing my car as my lease has come to an end. From the second I pulled into the parking lot, Victor was there waiting to greet me and I felt very welcomed. Worst dealer experience ever! We literally got ripped off with a bunch of optional fees that were told to me that they were "mandatory". Show up today to get some of those fees removed and The Sales Manager William Helou literally did not want to remove some of the optional fees and actually threatened me to reverse the deal give me my money back, take the car back and make me walk back home with my mother, it was a 20 mile drive, who does that?! I was shopping around for a brand new CRV and I saw the listing price of Keyes online which they came up to be the lowest I saw. So, I decided to buy from them even though I have to travel all the way from West Covina to Van Nuys for this. I setup an appointment and checked out the vehicle, I test drove it and I was impressed. I brought a print out of the advertised price, however, when I showed the print out, I learned that the advertised price had ended the day before my appointment and the price showed a much higher price online. I'm glad to hear that they will honor the price of the print out that I brought, I will say that impressed me as an ice breaker from this dealership. What a terrible experience. The sales people are the epitome of what you think of when holly you think of baot and switch, smarmy untrustworthy car salesman. We have several experiences with repairs and service visits. They were ok. Charged too much but overall a decent experience. We have a lease we bought somewhere else and needed to return. I called about a week out and was told, "No problem. Bring it by anytime. You don't need an appointment." Day before I called again, told the same thing. Pulled in, was told we needed the trade in report, which we left at home. That makes sense. No problem, I'll go back and get it. When I returned, was told they weren't taking any more lease returns that day. First off, why did they tell me on the phone they would? Why not say, "Just to let you know, there's a chance, if we get many returns, that we couldn't take yours. So drop off early." Second, why didn't you tell us when you knew we were going home to get the documentation? Then, when taking to the guys there, my wife as and I were treated with zero respect. Their response was to tell us THEIR problem-- they already took 13 lease returns. We were SOL and could go to Ocean Honda in NoHo, who were great, for the most part. Told us, though, they had no tool (a screwdriver) to remove our license plate, so they kept it. Which was strange. Anyway, back to the rude men at Keyes. When i said I wanted them to live up to their word and take the car back, the guy ROLLED HIS EYES AT ME. Repeated his problem, which I said wasn't really my problem. Asked him about my problem and now I have to go top North Hollywood. He just kept repeating himself. Very frustrating and felt belittled. One of many reasons I'll never own or lease a Honda again. read more

I leased a Honda Civic 2019 from Keyes in October 2019 and was excited about it as it was my first dealership car. The sales representative seemed to me very helpful and understanding of my situation as I needed the car for work and my old car just broke down. However within a month of driving I started having issues with the interior which was rattling at any volume and just by driving over bumpy road. The rattling is unbearable in LA's standstill traffic, or on a road trip, I wanted to fix the issue and took it to service center. There I was looked at as someone crazy and was told by a at least 6 people that there is no issue and they can't hear any rattling. After a multiple times of back and forth and wasted time, gas and lost work days I tried to reach Honda customer service but they just suggested to go back to the service center. Eventually the "lead mechanic" temporarily fixed the sound problem by shoving a piece of cloth between the panels. Yet after 2 weeks it came back and I had to do the whole thing all over again. At some point I gave up and I just put a towel every time between the door and the panel, so goes for a 25000$ car that I'm stuck with and can't listen to music. As well as their amazing "waxing" that they do for free every visit, which scratched the hood of my car, and when I showed it to them they suggested I take it to a a professional waxing place, or leaving it there for a few more days to get it waxed. It's great they offer a Lyft ride back home, but a day without a car in LA is a day of missed work or the ability to do pretty much anything. Not to mention that I was told I have the extended service plan yet on my 5000 miles check up I had to pay for oil changes and the checkup. And to top all of this, I tried reaching out to Keyes by mail, phone, sms and reaching out to Honda through Facebook. Every time I was promised someone will get back to me as soon as possible, yet I haven't heard back. Now that it's a few months to the end of my term, they reached out to me asking how's my Honda, with the intent of trying to sell me on a new model. This whole experience was dreadful, from trying to choose a car, the lies about service plans, the back and forth to the service center and taking advantage of the fact it's my first car - to say the least my next car won't be a Honda. read more

I worked with Collin this time on an Accord lease. Couldn't go smoother. I am a bit of a loon, purchase or lease a new car every year. As always came in, knew what I wanted, researched for days, and got exactly what I was looking for at the rate I was expecting to pay. Joke --- They didnt offer me free snow protection under coating LOL!!! :- )) But did throw in a free KARR alarm system, basically guaranteeing to my insurance that this car is theft proof. Not too bad. I was in and out within 60 minutes. Full tank of gas and a freshly detailed, brand new car later, we were immediately off to Aqua Soleil in Desert Hot springs to take in some sun and mineral spas. This accord is a real treat to drive. Definitely one of my favorite vehicles. Collin was a real pleasure, I can honestly tell you that I have been raving about my experience since I made the purchase over a week ago. My wife and I came to this dealership having done our research on the models of Honda Civic and the trims and also the fair market value. We worked with Bill Batch who was very helpful and showed us all the models we requested. Unfortunately on our first visit, we simply didn't like any of the cars enough to buy. We came back a second time (after finding two new models we liked on the site) and this is where the dealership really lost our business. We worked with a nice new salesperson Donna who let us test drive the car and we were comfortable enough to start talking numbers. We submitted an offer which we felt was a fair negotiating point and we were then handed off to a different salesman (unfortunately didn't catch his name but he was a Spanish guy). He went into a long fluff talk about transparency in costs and how what they were selling it for was already discounted. Also on TOP of not negotiating the car price, we were being forced into accepting almost ABSURD 3K in dealer add on fees! They will tell you that their cars come with a specialty alarm system (995), a rust proofing detail/paint, and a number of weatherproof mats and mudguards for the car. All of them HAVE to be on your car (which is def BS). I mentioned that I was not interested in the dealer add ons and that I wanted to discuss the car price first. We were repeatedly told that the car was already discounted, that our research was not accurate and that we had to take the add-ons no matter what. After a frustrating back and forth, we were simply asked if we were not going to budge on the add ons and cost and then ended our conversation. We called Bill the next day to see if this could have been simply an issue with the salesperson but we never got a callback. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE BADGERED AND PRESSURED INTO DEALER ADD ON AND MARKED UP FEES. I was refer to this dealer through the Costco program. I sat with Juan to get my sisters vehicle appraise. She had a 2016 civic and wanted to trade it in for a 2018 accord sport. When he asked about payment wise we told him what we wanted which was no more $400 a month with taxes. We knew that she was going to be upside down because of her current lease. When we inform him about the payments we wanted he was very straight forward that what we asked was impossible he said we needed to be realistic. He was very demanding on wanting to run her credit. We immediately said no. Why? Because he seem like he wasn't going to help us out. By then I was annoyed by his poor customer service. He got his "manager" involved and him as well was pushing her to run credit. We walked out to never return again! On the other note Juan guess what? We went to Honda in Valencia and they gave her $360 a month with tax! And because the deal was so good I ended up walking out with a brand new accord sport as well for $10 more. So next time don't say it's impossible because guess what? It very possible! When it was time to look at a new Honda, we went to Keyes Honda of Van Nuys, because our older Honda had been serviced by them for years. There we were met by a car salesman by the name of Ramiro. Ramiro, was very friendly, polite and informative. His first question was "is there anything you have an interest in looking at." We explained that we wanted to just take a look the new Honda CRV that my wife would like to see. Without further ado, Ramiro accommodated that interest.
