Extremely disappointing experience at Honda of Van Nuys. I had a very disappointing experience with Honda of Van Nuys. Before driving to the dealership, I specifically contacted Todd regarding a 2026 Honda Prologue EX FWD advertised at $197/month with $3,777 due at signing. Todd personally texted me the offer, confirmed that the vehicle was "Available!", provided the dealership address, and asked me to come in and ask for him. I arrived approximately 30 minutes later, only to be told that the vehicle was no longer available and that I should consider a much more expensive trim level instead. What made the situation even worse was Todd's behavior afterward. When I asked to speak with a manager, Todd seemed to avoid me and stayed hidden in the office, only occasionally looking out. After the manager got involved, Todd changed his story and claimed that he had just returned from vacation and didn't know the vehicle was no longer available. Frankly, that explanation did not seem believable. I've visited many dealerships before, and even when a promotional vehicle was already sold, salespeople were usually honest and upfront about it over the phone. This is the first time I've experienced this level of misinformation and wasted effort.

I stopped by this Honda dealership today while I dropped off my wife car to get service here. I haven't been to this dealership since they moved and it is bigger. I got my Accord back when they were at their old location and got it at a good price. Every person experience at a dealership will vary based on the person they work with. They had some nice used cars selection here when I was walking around but if you're looking for a new car then just remember to do your research and talk to different dealerships so you know the average price the car you want is going for. The parts center is toward the back where the service center is.

After an accident, I had to buy a car. We called and asked Honda Van Nuys for the best, most experienced and patient car salesman. We were told that that would be Victor Goorjian. Indeed, Vic demonstrated award-worthy patience. He was also pleasant to interact with, as purchasing a car takes several hours. Thank you, Victor! (I am in love with my 2023 HR-V .)

Our sales consultant, Edgar was the only good part in this whole transaction. I went to the Honda dealership thinking that I was going to reputable and reliable Company that wouldn't sell me a vehicle that would only last three weeks. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. I walked in with High Hopes. I understood my situation wasn't the best, but in an attempt to start fixing my past mistakes, I walked into the dealership, hoping to find a vehicle that would lead to me. Fixing my Credit. All I asked for was a spacious car with working AC especially since my wife carried our newborn baby around and all our cars didn't have ac. That was the only important factor to me. They gave me the option of a 2020 Jeep Cherokee. The car was in good shape, but the interest rates were High, which I understood with my current Credit. It surprise me that the vehicle didn't have any warranties, which I asked for, but they shrugged it off, saying it wasn't possible which on it's own. Should've been a reason for me to walk out, but again, I didn't think a Company like this would sell me a vehicle used or new That wouldn't last me more than a year. Three weeks later. The cars motor goes out. The repair cost as much as it was going to cost to have the car for a year. When I expressed concern to the dealership, and they said it wasn't their issue since the car was driving when they sold it. It's hard to believe that they would purchase a vehicle and not do the proper checks to make sure that it would last people at least a year heck even three months. It's been a terrible experience. It's very a very hard hit financially. It's stressed. Our whole Family out. We were doing our best to take a step forward, and instead, we ended up three steps back. I do not recommend this Company. If you're buying, I used vehicle. They are not looking out for you.

Saw a car I wanted to check out and buy Called the Dealership..got Camile on line told her I wanted to check to see if the car I saw on Autotrader was still available before I drove 60 miles she asked for the "Stock # ...it was 00420344... we verified that we were talking about the same car (2015 Blk Prius w Sun roof) I told her I needed for her to check the car doesn't smell of cigarette smoke "cause if it does I'm not gonna waste anyones time" She said she would check and call me back asap... she called back and said" it is good ..not a smoker " I told her I'd leave ASAP... She said that she would text me I was sent a text telling me they will give me "first class service" and to ask for Farid/ Camile... True to MY word I started driving...Once I got to the dealership after 1.5+hours and spending around $60 gas in my SUV I meet Farid at the door.. He asks "if I'm here for the Prius" he gets the key and walks me over to the White Prius w no sunroof... "I ask him what is this???" I tell him " the car is supposed to be black and it listed a sunroof " he fumbles around for a while then says" let me speak to my Mgr" We walk in and comes back saying " this is the car" Is this a Bait and Switch?... you can decide I just drove all the way to make a purchase expecting what was advertised and what was " verified " and this is the " first class service" I was provided Not speaking to mid management I'll be talking and writing to ownership I would post the screenshots of the Autotrader ad and the Keyes Honda website info on "this car" to show the info however I can't add attachments for some reason? I also checked the VIN and pulled the CARFAX on it before talking to Camile read more

People people, if you need a reliable car for family, you have only one choice, Honda !!! This is the fourth car that we got it from Keyes Honda, and always VICTOR is the only person who we can trust his advice. My dad and I went to this car dealership today and Jose Morales and Alma Salazar were the ones that helped us. We wanted a really good price on a honda accord. God bless their souls because they were very attentive and very patient. They managed to work within our price range and we appreciate the effort they put in to help us get the best deal possible. I definitely recommend going to this place if you want to look into getting a car or leasing a car and you want to talk to employees that care about your wants/needs. Went in to look at a outgoing 2017 Honda Accord. The sales rep that greeted us was extremely nice and helpful in showing us the car. When we came down to the numbers, I showed them my calculations based off my internet research and truecar. Sales rep took 5 minutes to go talk to the GM and came back and said the offer was too low and not even close to what they had in mind. I said okay and asked if he would give me a counter offer since this is how negotiating works and the sales rep on behalf of the GM said "NO, we don't want to offend you" and we left right after. It seems like this approach from a dealership is more of my way or the high way. Not sure how the sales reps and management are taught in terms of negotiating with customers. I did noticed that this dealership had a lot more older model Hondas in stock. I'm assuming they do not really negotiate much or deviate from what their msrp pricing by much. Probably would avoid this dealership if you want a fair deal on a new vehicle. There are so many other dealerships around that would love to have your business and negotiate with you at the very least. UPDATE: I ended up getting the model/trim I got from another dealership that was $350 more than the price I presented to Keyes. Therefore confirming my numbers weren't that outrageous to be considered or negotiated. read more

I was confused about what car to get with the microchip shortage, and was doing a lot of running around to different dealerships. When I went to Keyes Honda and was welcomed by the friendly face of Rahul, I met someone I wanted to work with. He was great and not too aggressive. That would've pushed me away. I did my research, and with Rahul and Arnon, was treated well and they helped me pick out a car I'm really happy with. Ask for Victor. I leased my first car from Victor because of yelp's endlessly great recommendations. Funny thing is, I was expecting to just get a few prices and check out a few cars, visit a few other dealerships, then make a decision in a week or two. But, Victor was absolutely amazing. I came in with both of my parents, whose personalities are very different. Victor was consistently patient and accommodating, ensuring that all of their questions were answered, that all of their concerns were addressed, and that all of our hopes for the new car were realized. He did not push us to buy or lease right away, but he worked with us for hours until we found a price and a car that was within our budget, as well as perfect for me! We were there until late at night, but he stayed around and made sure that we were comfortable and happy with our selection. (Definitely try the coffee.) I'm writing this review a few days after signing my contract because Victor's follow up has been thorough and helpful, ensuring that I have the opportunity to learn everything I need/want to know about my new car. Also, I absolutely love my car: a 2016 CRV LX. So no buyers remorse. :) I'm pretty sure that's a good sign. read more

The start of my experience at Keyes Honda was good. Had a nice sales agent help me out and work through all the things I needed. However as soon as I sat with management it became a headache. William was short with me and arrogant. Didn't seem to care that I had questions only that I wasn't ready to pull the trigger yet. He didn't even sit down and try to answer my questions, but instead just looked down at me while I sat. I have money and need to buy a car. Wasn't pulling anyone's leg. I just need time to decide and check out a few other cars. I can say this. It'll be hard for me to go back after being belittled. read more

Horrible customer service. They had originally sent me an email stating very clearly that if I trade in my car I can get the new version of it for the same payment that I pay now. When I got there the guy told me that it's impossible for them to do that. (Then why did I come in and why did you send me an email literally stating that it was the offer??) Just picked up a new car from Keyes Honda, Woodland Hills. A big shout out and thank you to my dealer, Arvin Macanaya! At the time I was negotiating with multiple dealerships for a brand new Civic Ex. From the get go, Arvin was willing to work hard for me. I told him what I wanted and the budget I was going for. I've been here twice and can't recommend this dealership. Background: I got in a car accident and need to replace my car. I love the dealership I went to last time, but wanted to venture out just in case I might get a better deal, and the great reviews for Keyes brought me in. Big mistake. The first time, I came in during the evening with my partner and two gentlemen (Hagap and Hilary) helped me out. They were nice enough and conceded that they might not be able to meet the price I wanted, but asked me to come back. I respected their honesty and wanted to give them a chance. Neutral experience that evening. The second time, I came in by myself on a weekday afternoon and no one paid me any attention for 25 minutes. No eye contact, no "We'll be with you momentarily", no "Can I help you?", nothing. I forgot my sunglasses so I walked back in to get them and no one even said anything then. I'm not sure what it was about that day, but the message is clear: they're not interested in my business. I waited much longer than I should have. I'll most likely return to my original dealership, where they want my money but also respect my time. read more

Did not want aftermarket alarm on my car as they have failed me before. Tried to negotiate it out of the contract but failed. Out $700 as the alarm failed as it went off around 5am wvwry morning. Took it in for service they found nothing wrong. Take it home still goes off occassionally for no reason. Now its uninstalled and I am out the cost I paid. Quit added after market parts to an entry level car to increase your profit margins and steal my $700 read more

Nightmare dealership! I leased a 2017 Honda Civic from them over a year ago and they still haven't taken my old lease off of my name. Just received my new registration via DMV in the mail yesterday. To say that this dealership is beyond dysfunctional is an understatement. I've been to them over 3 times already to get my old lease off of my record. They somehow think the customer should do all the work for them with their lease department. The customer gets stuck in the middle and nothing gets done. read more

Yesterday I went into this dealership not knowing what to expect. I was currently driving a 2016 Honda Accord. I have been wanting to trade this car in for so long but didn't know if it was going to be possible. Mike & Farid were by far the best freakin helpers for me. I have always owned a Honda and let me tell you my experience with Glendale Honda (Horrible) literally made me never want to buy a Honda again. These guys took care of me and did everything possible to work with me so I was able to walk out with a new car. This review comes exactly a month after buying my car from Farid. The process was relatively quick compared to other dealership experiences I've had. The atmosphere is very casual. Pretty straight forward experience. They did the "let me introduce you to my manager" thing who then sort of takes over most of the experience from that point. I think they could do better with updating you every now and then after filling out application paperwork. Seemed like they disappeared for a while. The best part of my experience was Ross, the finance manager, explaining all the closing paperwork very clearly and patiently. Overall good experience. read more

Tbh, my mom and I dont have any plans to get a car today we just wanna get a quote. Til, We met CARLOS! He is a very nice guy. Wont harrass you or push you too much. He helped us get the car I want. Did his best to work out the price we want and the car we want. Yes, this took us forever and hours in the dealership but it is all worth it because Ive got the car Ive been wanting (Honda Civic EX). The car is amazing! Smooth, easy to use, driver friendly, has a back up and right signal camera, very comfortable to drive!! I LOVE IT! It is very amazing. Im very happy with this car. This was simply the most unprofessional and deceptive business I have ever had the misfortune of interacting with. I live in LA and was looking to buy a Honda Civic last month. I shopped around at many dealerships and had made my decision. I wanted a Touring edition model in Burgundy. Since Keyes was one of the few dealerships that had the Burgundy color, I called them up and asked to confirm they had it, because I was ready to buy the car that day. They said they did have it, and I asked if they could match the lowest price I had received from another dealership (in writing). They said if I brought proof of the email (which I did), they would match the price. Everything was all set, so I take an uber from culver city to Keyes. First problem: I have to wait 45 minutes to speak to a salesperson Second problem: They don't actually have the car, it's locked in a garage Third problem: The reason the car is locked is because it already had an owner who defaulted on payments, and they had to repossess the car. It had 200 miles on it and I would be the second owner. Fourth problem: They say that if I still want the car, they can honor the price but there's a mandatory $1000 dollar weather package that I didn't want. Fifth problem: The manager came out and lied to us/made BS excuses about everything, saying that the person who assured me over the phone that they would match price "didn't have the authority to do so" I can't believe a business with such unethical, disrespectful, and generally despicable practices is still open. So please, if you're looking for a Honda, go elsewhere. Keyes does not deserve your business, and will belittle you, deceive you, and treat you like you are stupid. read more

I had an excellent car buying experience at Keyes Honda! It was quick, easy and stress free. Victor, the sales rep, was super nice, friendly and funny! Although we had just met him, he made us feel like family. Since the whole experience, he continues to make us feel like family! I didn't feel pressured. We had known what terms we wanted and was able to easily reach an agreement. Louie, the Business Manager, made the paperwork process quick and easy. Louie, too, was super nice and friendly. I started having some very common water pump and vacuum system problems with my beloved 718 Cayman S a few weeks ago - these are well documented issues with the car, but can be very difficult to diagnose and truly fix. When I first started having problems, I decided to go to another shop in the area to get a diagnosis to figure out what was going on. That shop gave me a lot of stress and very little confidence that we would get the issues sorted any time soon, so I decided to come here and met with Amir. Again, the vacuum issues on a 718 especially can be a bit complicated to diagnose. From the moment I started working through these issues with Amir, he was very good on communication, transparency, and did not in any way run up a bill of other random things just to try to get more money. He sent me photos every step of the way of what was being done to my car, communicated on parts coming in, etc - I felt very comfortable having my car there. When Porsche took longer than they had promised us to get a part in, Amir made the wait much easier by helping me out with a rental. The car was driving beautifully after I picked it up, but I ended up with a fault code again and I had to come back in - I don't fault Amir/the shop for this at all, 718 vacuum issues can be very complicated and oftentimes there is no "issue" left other than a ghost code. The experience of coming back here to diagnose why this code came back actually solidified my confidence in this shop - they were once again extremely transparent and very considerate in making my second visit quick and painless. My car is in phenomenal shape, and I saved a good amount of money (and headache) compared to what I was quoted at another spot down the street. Thank you Amir!

Three weeks ago, I scheduled a service appointment with Christian at Casa de Cadillac and specifically confirmed that a loaner vehicle would be reserved for me. I have multiple safety concerns with my vehicle and made it clear that I would need transportation while my vehicle was being serviced. On the day of my appointment, I arrived promptly at 8:00 AM. After waiting nearly 20 minutes without assistance, I had to repeatedly ask for someone to help me begin the check-in process. When I was finally assisted, the service advisor asked whether I needed a ride. I informed him that I had a loaner vehicle reserved. He then told me I was not on the loaner list. To verify the situation, I immediately called Christian on speakerphone. Christian acknowledged that I had indeed requested a loaner vehicle when I scheduled the appointment and admitted that he forgot to complete the reservation. He apologized and suggested that I reschedule my appointment. Given the safety concerns with my vehicle and the fact that the error was entirely on the dealership's side, I explained that rescheduling was not an acceptable solution. I then requested to speak with a manager. I was informed that Service Manager Hanna Watts was "too busy" to speak with me. After waiting further, I was eventually brought into her office. Unfortunately, the interaction with Ms. Watts was even more disappointing. Rather than attempting to resolve a mistake made by her dealership, she repeatedly stated that there was nothing she could do because I was not on the list. She showed no empathy or concern for the inconvenience caused by her staff's error. What was most troubling was her dismissive attitude and comments during our conversation. Rather than taking ownership of the dealership's mistake, she lectured me about how loaner vehicles are reserved for certain customers and questioned why I did not use another dealership. The overall tone was rude, unprofessional, and completely lacking in customer service. As a longtime Cadillac customer, I find it shocking that a customer would be treated this way after a dealership employee openly admitted fault for failing to process a confirmed loaner reservation. I am requesting: 1. A call from Cadillac Corporate regarding this incident. 2. A review of how this situation was handled by Service Manager Hanna Watts. 3. An explanation as to why a customer was left without a solution after a dealership employee admitted responsibility for the error. 4. Assurance that other customers will not be treated similarly in the future. This experience fell far below the level of professionalism and customer care that I expect from the Cadillac brand. Edvard became my service advisor, and from the first time I brought my car in, he took the time to listen to every concern I had. He genuinely cared and made sure all of the initial issues were repaired. Unfortunately, not long after, my car started having transmission problems. Every single time I brought it back, Edvard took care of me without hesitation. I had to bring the car in several times, and he always made sure everything was handled properly and that I was kept informed throughout the process. After finally getting it back, I expected the problem to be resolved. Instead, just one week later, the one side of the cylinders started giving me problems again and failed. Then, only two weeks later, the same issue happened again on the other side The most frustrating part was the lack of communication from the technician. I was promised that my car would be repaired and ready within one week, but that promise was never kept. Instead, I was left waiting with little to no communication and no clear explanation for the ongoing delays. Customers deserve honest updates and realistic timelines, especially when their vehicle has already spent months in the shop. I do want to recognize my service advisor Mike and then Hayk who was excellent throughout the process. They were professional, responsive, and did everything they could to help. Unfortunately, the repeated delays and poor communication from the technician completely overshadowed the otherwise positive service I received from the advisor. For a luxury brand like Mercedes-Benz, this level of service is unacceptable. Having my vehicle tied up for two months, only for the same cylinder issue to return almost immediately, has been incredibly frustrating and has seriously affected my confidence in the dealership's repair process. I hope Keyes Mercedes improves its quality of repairs, communication, and accountability so other customers don't have to go through the same experience.

I did a lot of research, and we found a 2014 BMW x3 with low miles & in great condition at the CDJR used car dealer on Van Nuys Blvd. (Note, this is not the CDJR new car dealership that's a little farther north on Van Nuys Blvd. Part of the same family of dealers, but this review is for their used car lot a farther south on Van Nuys Blvd.) My wife and I showed up there at 7pm, after a day of driving to dealerships all over and test driving vehicles, and found the sales associates at this lot to be a breath of fresh air. We dealt directly with Moises, and he was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable about the car we were there to see, and just overall seemed like a good guy. We text drove the BMW x3, liked it (my wife loved it), but we couldn't purchase at that moment because we were still waiting for the insurance payout on the totaled vehicle. We didn't want to lose the BMW to another buyer, so we put a $1,000 deposit down on my debit card, the following day.....although in retrospect we should have done it that same night, I just couldn't pull the trigger on the deposit, but after driving home, my wife and I talked about our positive experience at this dealer, and our really positive experience with Moises, and we decided that was the right vehicle (so I went back the next day & put the deposit down.) Ultimately we ended up not purchasing the vehicle because our insurance gave us an owner retained settlement offer a couple days later, and my wife and I decided to go with that option, so I returned to Keyes CDJR used cars, and had to ask for a refund of the deposit. I explained the situation to a manager, and he was extremely understanding & professional about the whole situation......the refund was issued, I got a receipt and I was in & out in about 30 minutes. A couple days later the refund showed up on my debit card, exactly as it should. Overall, it was an extremely positive used car buying experience (even though we didn't end up buying the car), and didn't have any of the weird salesman, sleazy tactics that most people associate with used car dealers. If & when the time comes that we're ready to buy a used car, this dealership will absolutely be our first stop! A+ to these guys, and their professional manners/etiquette!

I do not recommend coming here to buy a new car if you want a good, honest deal…read more I recently leased a new vehicle from this dealership, and what should have been an exciting purchase turned into a frustrating experience. The truck was delivered with visible scratches already on it. When I flagged this, I was told to bring it back in for repair -- but instead of offering a loaner vehicle so I could still get around, they only offered an Uber to and from my house for the day. That was just the start. Since taking delivery, I've had an airbag warning light come on and noticed the alignment is off -- not exactly what you expect from a brand-new truck. The finance side of things was its own headache. The moment the paperwork was signed, the finance manager seemed to vanish -- no one on staff could tell me where to find them for follow-up questions. I'd strongly encourage anyone buying here to read every line of your contract before signing, because add-ons have a way of getting added without a clear conversation about them. To make matters worse, I've called the main sales line multiple times asking to have Gustavo call me back -- silence every time. Even showing up in person, nobody at the dealership seems to know where he is. At this point it's easier to find Jesus than it is to find him. My salesperson, Mandeep, was nice and helpful throughout the process -- but that seems to be true of everyone here right up until you sign. After that, it's like you're dead to them. Part of this is on me -- I didn't shop around enough beforehand, and other dealers later quoted me a noticeably cheaper price for the same truck. Lesson learned, but it also means this dealership knew they weren't offering a competitive deal and sold it to me anyway. Between the vehicle condition at delivery, the ongoing mechanical issues, the vanishing finance manager, and now an unreachable salesperson, I'd think twice before buying here -- and I'd definitely get quotes elsewhere first. All of this was reflected in the survey w/ Stellantis. Mandeep input my email address incorrectly but I got it... tsk tsk. And to the management team, you have my number if you need to reach me. Don't put some canned response.

These are not minor cosmetic issues; they are safety-related components that raise serious concerns about how the vehicle passed inspection prior to being sold. I contacted the dealership to discuss the situation and spoke with a manager. The only solution offered was for them to provide the springs while expecting me to cover the labor. Considering the condition the vehicle was found in, this did not feel like a reasonable resolution. I also attempted to escalate the matter by contacting the General Manager and left an email but have not received a response. I understand that used vehicles can have wear and tear, but discovering significant mechanical and safety-related issues within a few months of purchase raises serious concerns about the inspection process before the vehicle was sold. At this point, I simply wanted to share my experience so other buyers are aware and can make informed decisions.

Just license, fees, and first month's payment DAS (due at signing). I started the process on Sunday afternoon when they were closed and went to the dealership on the following Saturday to pick up the car. This was the most stress free car buying experience of all time for me. Once I told Sam about the make, model, and trim I wanted with no add-ons, he went to work getting me the best quote. There was a dealer that quoted $13 more than the first dealer and Sam tried to get the dealer to come down in price to match the first offer. He didn't so we went with the first dealer to lock in a low monthly payment plus tax. None of that "cap cost reduction" nonsense you see in the car dealer ads that fool you into thinking you got a deal. You are just prepaying the lease and lowering your monthly payments. The deal that Sam got me was low selling price for the car, standard residual (set by the bank), lease rebate, zero upsell. In fact, I just dealt with Sam 100% of the time. I got the contract emailed to me to sign. Sam met me at the dealership to sign a couple of DMV forms. I wrote the check to the dealership, then Sam drove the car out to the pick up area. ZERO CONTACT WITH ANYONE AT THE VW DEALERSHIP! No games at the finance desk, no wasted time going back and forth, honest selling price of car, and standard money rate with the lease. Sam basically shielded me from all the high pressure sales tactic and made sure I got the best deal. Do yourself a favor and hire a professional like Sam to battle the dealership. This was truly and EZ experience and there was no fee or bill from Sam.

Keyes Honda of Van Nuys This is what has been happening chronologically: 1a. Picked up car 9/08/2019 It was not ready. Glue on exterior. Julio, myself and my partner Jim were removing the glue. The upholstery spray not done. Had to make a separate appt at service appt. I was not aware of this. I feel like I was pushed out the door. I would have never taken the car if I had known there would be such problems. 1b. black specks in chrome/sent Julio photos he says water spots. They are inside the finish. He told me to addresss when I go to service. 1c. small chip on back passenger door. I sent Julio photo telling him chip NOT GLUE. 1d. Chip repaired(courtesy repair at Honda Westminster when getting a second opinion about black specks in chrome. they didn't know what specks were). Told go to where I bought the car. They should make good on the purchase. 2. Really unhappy and not able to enjoy the car at this point. 3a. 09/19-09/20/19 paint and uph coating appointment 3b. asked about black specks in chorme. no one knows what it is. specks in the finish. not outside the finish 4a. 09/30/19 hard cargo cover arrived. Julio promised at car purchase free installation. I get there on time and there is a problem. I was clear to Julio more than 3x about a install fee but he insisted it slides in(not the hardcover). I tried to tell him that's why I wanted an agreement. He did listen to me. I called Julio then I had to wait while Miguel talk to Sabrina in sales. I talked to her and explained what Julio promised. I had to pay for the hard cover( I could not use the Costco coupon). They waived the labor. *I missed my appt time and ended up spending 6 HOURS there. 5a. 09/30/19 they ordered chrome pieces because they don't know what it is and could not fix. 5b. 10/17/2019 parts finally came in. 5c. 10/21/19 new chrome flawed. No one bothered to check before having me come in. WASTED MY TIME. 5d. 10/21/19 new pieces ordered 6. Miguel called and said parts came in and are fine. 7a. 10/30/19 left car there 7b. 10/31/19 LARGE PANEL SCRATCHES obvious scratches. They tried to rub out but no luck. Once again WASTED MY time and gasoline for me and my ride. (where is the damage happening???) Fernando just tries to explain it off as no a big deal. I bought a new car not a used flawed car. He said he would reorder for the 3rd time. I left with my ride and Fernando called within 1/2 hour stating he located a part and it looks really good and I would be happy. 7c. two drivers dropped off the car at my location. The chrome(large panel) part looked really good. Wait for it!!!!!!!! 7d. 11/01/19 I moved the car into the driveway. I was looking at the piece again. IT IS A DIFFERENT COLOR. 7e. I thought it was my imagination. I went by another honda dealer to see if I was dreaming. The color is from a different model(Touring???) I asked the salesman to take a look. He said 'different color, you're not dreaming.' IF YOU'RE GOING TO REPLACE A PIECE OF A DIFFERENT COLOR WHY NOT REPLACE ALL THREE PIECES. Unless one could not tell the difference. I don't know. This is poor service at least. Did my flawed piece go on another car? Is someone driving around with the 2 side pieces I need/that match the different color part that is now on my car? Who knows? I can't believe this is happening. 8. 11/03/19 left Miguel text message about what happened. I didn't know if he was aware. No return call that day. 9. 11/03/19 called Sabrina at sales - no call back that day 10. 11/04/19 called Sabrina again. I let her know what was happening regarding the chrome saga I told her I can not interact with Fernando anymore. I don't like the blow off explanations. Wanting me to accept whatever he throws out there. It's insulting. Sabrina suggested I deal with Janel(spelling?). 11a 11/04/19 I spoke with Janel and explained what has been happening with the chrome saga. She requested I send her picture via text of the chrome. The pictures didn't show the color difference like the naked eye would. Make no mistake it is different. 11b. She received the photos and she asked if it was the big piece that surrounds the H emblem I was referring to. I said yes and that is the last I heard from her. 12. 11/05/19 Miguel called and I repeated what happened with different color chrome installation and Sabrina's referred me to Janel. AS OF TODAY SATURDAY NOVEMBER 9, 2019 5:12 P.M. I HAVE RECEIVED NO CALL BACK. I'VE OWNED THIS CAR 2 MONTHS AS OF TODAY AND HAVE SPENT TOO MUCH TIME IN SERVICE. I HAVE GOTTEN NO ENJOYMENT WITH MY CAR. I thought I bought a new car but I bought a damaged car at a NEW CAR PRICE. I'm very unhappy about the whole situation. I've had two months of unhappiness. I regret making the purchase. read more

If you are in the market for a car and you've made your purchase without atleast talking to this guy. I can assure you that you have missed out on a great deal and even a better car buying experience. First of their used car pricing is ridiculously competetive and combine that with world class customer service and knowledgeable Sales person like Taz. You are in for a car buying experience that is unmatchable. I have been shopping for an used car for a while and have talked to several dealerships in the area, but as soon as I got on the phone with Taz, his phone etiquette and the confidence he had in the product he was selling forced me to actually go in to the dealership, to see the car in person which I have been avoiding in these times but Taz assured me a safe and clean environment for me to shop at. I was hesitant to come in to the dealership but upon arrival my car was disinfected and ready for me to test drive in the front. He first made sure I wasn't sick. He assured me my safety as well. After test driving the car I wanted to continue my shopping at that point Taz presented me with a few more options. He was very transparent about the value of the car as well as the sale price he helped me get a warranty and a security system that will keep my investment safe. He made sure I understood what I was paying for. And it was beneficial for me. The finance manager Ross was also extremely polite, fun to work with and insightful in to the products I was buying. Overall Taz made sure I was well taken care of I left the dealership with a car when I just came to look. Taz walked me thru the new technology on the car thoroughly. I am a bit technologically challenged so when I got home I was having a bit hard time to connect my garage door opener Taz after work came by the house to pair my garage door remote. He took time out of his day and go out of his way to make sure this was a car buying experience that's going to stay with us for years to come. First time car buyer here. To be completely transparent, I was extremely intimidated by the idea of buying a car. It's a big commitment and takes a lot of research. I knew I wanted a Honda because they last a long time, but didn't really know where to go from there. I got extremely lucky finding Keyes Honda in Van Nuys. It was the first dealership I went to, just because it was close to my house. I made an appointment and got there about 15 minutes early. Even though I was early, they got me right in to test drive a vehicle. I was met by Michael Indzheyan, who was super friendly and made the entire process stress free. He immediately put me at ease and answered all of my questions. Everyone I talked to was genuine and you could tell they really care about getting people the right car for the right price. It wasn't about games or tricks, which is what I usually picture when I think about car salesmen (no offense). Dean Quashen was the sales manager on duty and came several times to check on us and make sure we were satisfied. He made us feel very at home and encouraged me to come back any time if I needed anything. That was very reassuring for me and especially for my mom, who lives a few hours away. Ross Malinger was awesome too. I'm telling you, every step of the way was great. I was met by a friendly face (behind a mask) with a great attitude. He talked me through all of my paperwork (forms) and answered every single question I had. Everyone was incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel like Honda was without a doubt the right decision for my first car. They have tables spread out on the sales floor to maintain social distancing. Everyone was wearing a mask and there were hand sanitizer stations all over the building. I felt extremely safe and appreciated the extra steps to making sure everyone was comfortable. Overall, 12/10 experience. I feel like I got a great car for the best possible price and I would recommend anyone I know personally to go to this dealership. My mom and I will probably come back in a few months to get her a car as well. I interacted with several dealerships around Los Angeles in my search for a new car, and my experience at Keyes Honda was the best. I did the first part of my interaction with them online, getting a solid quote, and then went in person to test drive and (ultimately) purchase. Taz, in particular, was welcoming, patient, knowledgeable, and personable, and, for the most part, avoided the high-pressure tactics I experienced elsewhere, which earned my respect and helped me feel confident about making the purchase. He frequently double-checked with me to make sure I was getting the information and experience (in the test drive, for example) that would give me both data and space to decide on my own terms what I wanted. And he made a point of spending low-pressure time with me after the purchase, too, to introduce me to my new car and make sure I felt solid on the basics before I drove away. In general, everyone seemed friendly and I liked that the atmosphere was low-stress and welcoming overall. Like all new-car dealerships I've interacted with, frustratingly, Keyes still tried to sell me a suite of extras at the last minute that added substantially to the price I had been quoted; at every place I went, including Keyes, the forceful "extras" sales pitch was my least favorite part of the experience. I'm still ranking Keyes highly because I'm not sure it's possible to find a location that doesn't do that -- it's probably a systemic industry problem, not a Keyes-specific problem -- but I dislike the practice and in my personal experience it was the one unpleasant part of this purchase, the one moment when I felt like leaving rather than buying. Still, at Keyes, they were open to dialogue, and after the conversation, I got a deal I was quite happy with. Definitely do your research and know your needs and budget before going to this dealership just as you would for any other; you shouldn't be talked into something you can't afford or absolutely don't want. Sincere and well deserved review I want to take the time to explain the hardship of shopping for cars these days , tireless efforts to get a good deal and a decent service are almost impossible to be found these days. Prices are up beyond proportion , interest rates even to someone like me with over 800 score are not as friendly as they were pre-pandemic and other reasons , I am sure many can relate. I usually help my sister on every lease she is signing to make sure I can get the best for her . She is gifted on many things , car negotiation is not a strong suit of her . To make long story short as much as I can I have to say everything took turns for the goods once we entered Keyes Honda in Van Nuys . One of the nicest guys Victor greeted us and literally catered to us for as long as we were there trying to get the best price for us for my sister budget . We said goodnight after almost 2 hours promising we will come back if we can work out a better formula. Victor got to work talking to managers , Top Sales executives etc . Than he contacted us , we went there and took the exact car my sister wanted , once we entered the finance office to sign , a young guy by the name of Russ Malinger greeted us . I asked .. what is your father name Russ? He answered , Brian . I smiled and asked him , Do you remember me ? He said , I thought it was you but I was not sure . Turns out I helped Russ family relocate few times over 20 some years ago and when I wanted to buy a car , Brian his father got me the best deal. What a small world. to summarize it all the experience at Keyes Honda Van nuys was pleasant , proffessional , super courteous and for sure sparked a happy memory for me when I met Russ again who made the paper sigining proccess the easiest I ever had . I had such an amazing experience working with Victor at Honda of Van Nuys that I truly felt he deserved a review. Over the years, Victor has helped both my brother and me with leasing and purchasing Hondas, and every single experience has been exceptional. What I appreciate most is that he genuinely listens. I was very honest with him about my budget and financial limits, and instead of pressuring me, he spent hours going over every possible option to help me find a vehicle that was realistic for me while still being something I truly loved. Subject: Unacceptable Sales Tactics at Your Dealership Dear Management, I'm writing this email to share my abject disappointment in the way I was treated at your dealership. Last week, I visited your dealership to consider purchasing a used Honda Accord, which was priced at $31,991. I sat down with a salesman named Jorge Gurrola, expecting a cordial, customer-focused interaction. However, he seemed more interested in boosting his own commission rather than ensuring the customer's needs were met. When I compared the price of the car with other similar models in the market, and proposed a reasonable reduction, Jorge played what seems to be a classic trick. He insinuated that he would knock off $900 from the price. But moments later, his tune dramatically changed. He claimed that he could only offer me a mere $200 discount - a blatant, unabashed lie. The shocker came the following day when I found the same car advertised for $30,989. I called Jorge, to demand an explanation, and he started stuttering and stammering, incapable of providing a truthful answer. I offered him a second chance to match the price of a car I was viewing on Saturday, but again, he was adamant about sticking to his "new" advertising price. It was clear to me that he was certainly not interested in winning my business. The audacious demeanor of your salesman left me feeling exploited, infuriated and disrespected. Prospective customers are not dumb. We do our homework. And the bull-shit conning tactics that Jorge displayed were not only disgraceful but also counterproductive. A lot of dealers & companies in general CLAIM to be the type of people that will fight for you & unfortunately that is NOT always the case. & I have to say here at Keyes Honda, they actually fought to get me in the car I LOVED & WANTED but also got me a draw jobbing deal! Elmira is LOVELY, super fun to work with and made me feel at home. Shes got an amazing heart & gave me the best customer service that I have ever had in my entire life from ANYONE in a car industry. Stevie is very comfortable to work with.. Almost like a good fatherly figure. He made sure to talk with me 1 on 1 to understand my needs & Sheppard me through this process to find what was the best fit for my current situation & was able to accurately portray that to the bank & push for an outstanding approval Greg super cool and down to earth. Very relatable and I felt like he really fought for my approval At first I didn't think that I was gonna leave with anything based off my past history & experiences But he would not take no for an answer. WARNING!!! Stay away from this dealership. DAN QUASHEN is as crooked as they come. He's a sexist, manipulative, double-talking snake that will look at you with a smile (because this is what happened to me last night) while LYING STRAIGHT TO YOUR FACE. Then he'll have the audacity to fain innocence. I took my LEMON 2017 Honda Accord in for dangerous electrical repairs for the sixth time, desperately wanting out of this dangerous vehicle. Well, let me tell you, DAN SMELLED BLOOD!!! His salesperson ALMA gave me a BAIT and SWITCH price over the phone then acted completely innocent when I called her out on it. Dan is hovering like a predictor over my shoulder while I'm talking to her at the dealership then swoops in to tell me I'm the one who's wrong and they NEVER QUOTE MONTHLY PAYMENTS WITH THE TAX INCLUDED. This is my fifth and LAST HONDA. Honda is no longer the company it once was. I had to take my husband into the dealership before DAN would give me numbers. While I was there alone, he verbally patted me on the head and said, "Don't worry about the numbers. I'll take care of you. Just test drive the car then we'll talk." HIS EXACT WORDS. He didn't respect me enough to discuss business until my HUSBAND was present. He all but showed me the pretty mirrors and shiny dashboard. I had a deeply disappointing experience at Keyes Honda in Van Nuys. During a recent visit, Rudy, a parts associate, yelled at me, a customer. I immediately reached out to management for assistance, but I received no response or update for an extended period. Today, Tuesday, August 13th, 2024, at 10:20 AM, I finally received a call from the parts manager. Unfortunately, the conversation only added to my frustration. The manager's response was dismissive and unprofessional. He essentially told me, "I'm sorry you took it that way," implying that the issue was with my perception rather than addressing the unacceptable behavior of their employee. He stated that their employee denied yelling, and since there was no "evidence," they would not take further action beyond possibly discussing tone with Rudy. The manager's repeated use of phrases like "you may have perceived," "you felt," and "miscommunication" was patronizing and insulting, as if I was not competent to recognize when someone was yelling at me. This approach not only deflected responsibility but also minimized my experience as a customer. I am disappointed by how this situation was handled. There was no accountability, no sincere apology, and no meaningful action taken. It seems clear that Keyes Honda in Van Nuys is more concerned with protecting their employees behaviors than ensuring a respectful and positive experience for their customers. I don't typically post online but after the horror I witnessed at Keyes Honda on Van Nuys today I was compelled to open an account and let people know how they do business. They lie to get customers through the door. Once you come in they will try to sell you $4000 of s&@$ they added to the car. But as we were negotiating a car deal we realized it's not the customers only even employees at this location are treated like slaves by the Store manager. Constantly yelling and cussing and threatening to be fired. We witnessed multiple fights and arguments in the short span of time we were at the dealership. The skinny bald store manager we didn't get his name constantly kept dropping the f word at the sales people. It was a very unprofessional and uncomfortable shopping experience to have family and kids in the showroom with this guy present. We left the dealership due to his behavior we didn't want to do business in a place where they don't care about professionalism. People needs to speak up about their experience at this place so either they stop doing business with Keyes Honda or they take action against this guy. Very disappointed! read more

These 5 stars are awarded specifically to Gabriel Gutierrez. I leased a new 2017 Honda Civic one week ago and drove away happy. When I got home I noticed I had left my house key on the key ring of my trade-in. I proceeded to call the dealership and was directed to return for retrieval at their storage facility. When I returned to the dealership I was greeted by Mr. Gutierrez and began to explain the situation. Shortly after we were on the road in my new car on our way to my forgotten keys. On the way there, I asked several questions which Gabriel had answered professionally and accurately. Upon our arrival we learned that my trade-in had gone to auction. Gabriel continued the polite and knowledgeable help by showing me more points and features of my new car which I was excited to learn. Even though I lost my keys I gained respect. I am perplexed by the dealership's apparent disregard for customer service. Today, I visited the dealership to address a racketing noise emanating from my 2024 Honda. The service writer, Sylvia, informed me that I would need to pay a diagnosis fee of $220. However, I pointed out that my vehicle is under warranty in 2024, which should exempt me from this charge. Despite my explanation, Sylvia insisted on charging my credit card. Furthermore, she suggested that I leave my car in the dealership for two days while she conducted the service. When I expressed my desire for a loaner car, she responded with an unprofessional remark, suggesting that I should have purchased a Mercedes or BMW instead. Her attitude was demeaning and implied that I was less valuable as a customer than someone who drove a luxury vehicle. I find this behavior unacceptable and have since contacted Honda corporate to lodge a complaint. I am deeply troubled by the aggressive manner in which Sylvia treated me and believe that it is unacceptable for a dealership to conduct its business in such a manner. read more

during my most recent visit to the dealer to have service done i was extremely pleased on how they handled the life time warranty of a part on a 2001 Civic. I am glad to see Honda keeps their word when it comes to life/safety parts of their cars. however, while waiting for my car to be completed, i requested a quote to replace "4" spark plugs on my car. I had the parts since i was planning to do this myself, but since i was there, i figured I would check and did not think it would be much to simply remove and replace four spark plugs. I was quoted $285 dollars for the labor, OUTRAGEOUS!!!! If i had to buy the parts from the dealer it would have cost well over $400. I am amazed that Honda would charge this much for service on a 16 year old, where changing these in my opinion would be a fairly easy process, and again, i only asked for a quote since i was already there. I contacted a reputable independent mechanic that I have used previously and he gave me a quote of $30 to install the spark plugs. Way to go Keyes Honda, you surely know how to keep customers! read more

After spending 3 weekends wandering around SoCal playing the childish games that dealerships so enjoy playing we finally saw what we thought might be the exact car that my daughter was looking for. I contacted Bill online to get to the bottom of the deal and find out EXACTLY what the final cost was going to be. I was fed up with the dealership experience and fully expected more games. Bill got back to me with the exact price we ended up paying without adding a bunch of BS dealer add-ons that I neither wanted or asked for. He warned me about some slight imperfections so that we were not surprised by them after making the trip across the pass to the dealership. I cannot speak for anyone else at Keyes because I didn't have experience with them but I can tell you that Bill made this buying experience as painless and smooth as possible. If I were going to buy another vehicle I would certainly do business with Bill again. First of all, this is my 5th Lexus. I've had two, my wife has had two and my daughter has one…read more God I hate buying cars. So I find a car online and I actually got the price stated without any BS, a miracle. I totaled my old car so I was going to get a payoff which would pay for the new car in full. I told them that and they, rightly, had to finance a portion after I put 5k down. Here is where the nonsense started. I have an 831 credit score and the best they could offer was a 7.65% rate. I didn't make much of it since I knew I would be paying it off, but clearly they're making big bucks with that rate selling the loan to whomever they sold the loan to. They sold the loan to a company called Driveway Financial. 10 days after I bought the car I called Driveway to pay off the car. When I called up and asked for a payoff I was told I have two options. I could send a cashiers check for the payoff amount PLUS 20 days of interest. When I questioned the 20 days interest, they said it takes that long to process a payment. When I asked for a payoff for the next day if I sent it overnight, they still said I had to pay the 20 days interest. I questioned why I would have to pay 20 days interest if the payment was going to be in their hands the next day and they said it "sometimes" takes several days to process the payment. I said that wasn't my issue and that they should mark the date received as the final day of interest. I was told, quote, "Is there anything else I can do for you". I then asked about an ACH payment. They said they can only do $9,999.00 per day until the loan was paid off. Since I owe a bit over $40,000.00 I would be doing this for 5 days, 5 more days of interest being paid. When I asked why we can't do it all, they said it was Financial Regulation to prevent money laundering. When I said that was true, but since they are legitimate and I'm legitimate, there is no reason why I couldn't send the full balance and have their bank make the appropriate notification to whatever authority requires it. I told them in fact what they are doing is called "structuring" where they get a dollar less than ten thousand to avoid having to make notification. I realize that my complaint is more towards Driveway than Keyes, but since Keyes put me in this lousy loan with this shady company, they get the blame. I complained to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau about this scam process. Edit: Look at the BBB rating on Driveway Finance. 43 complaints in the last year. And this is the company Keyes picks to take care of the customer's financing needs? Second edit: 357 complaints to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Unbelievable.

I took it back and told them about the problem and one of the lead technician agreed with me about the cracking noise since he went to a road test with me. Left the car for 3 days and then they said they couldn't find any problem on the car, but then another technician went to another test drive with me and he found that there was something creating that noise and apparently he tied a few bolts and the was it. But then a few days later the problem came back again and took the car back again and they couldn't find anything on my car so they did nothing. Fast forward, until today I was able to take it to a mechanic shop and they find out why the car was making that cracking noise from the suspension!!! The bolts that tied the lower control arm from left and right were loose.! See the pictures and you can tell that they were dislocated.

At a previous dealership, I had already agreed on a price and was ready to buy when they suddenly added "mandatory add-ons" that were already installed on the vehicle--things like VIN and catalytic converter etching--adding about $4,600 to the price for items I neither wanted nor needed. I walked out feeling extremely frustrated and angry. The next day, while venting to a friend, they suggested I try Galpin Mazda. I was actually planning to rent a car for another week and continue searching, but I decided to give them one last shot first. Honestly, I went in expecting the worst and was mentally prepared for another fight. Instead, the entire experience was the exact opposite. It started with the phone call. I'm pretty particular about what I want (for example, I really don't like leather-type seats), and I also didn't want a black car. The person on the phone actually took the time to go physically confirm they had exactly what I was looking for before continuing the conversation. We discussed pricing, and while their number was slightly higher than the original quote from the other dealership, they **did not have any of those "mandatory add-ons."** That made the total cost lower and far more transparent. I was even able to complete much of the paperwork over the phone with Manny Arias, the salesperson I worked with. Even so, my guard was still up because of my earlier experiences. When I arrived at the dealership, everything continued to be smooth and genuinely pleasant. I have a mobility issue, and I really appreciated how respectful the staff was. Often, people assume they're helping and immediately try to grab or touch you. At Galpin, the employee in the lot came over and **asked if he could help** rather than assuming. Anyone with a disability will appreciate that level of respect. He held the door for me and offered me a drink while I waited. Manny, the salesperson I spoke with the night before, came out with the keys and showed me the exact car we had discussed. It was **exactly what I wanted**, and most importantly, there were **no surprise dealer add-ons** attached to it. When it was time to get into the car for the test drive, he again asked how he could help rather than assuming--another big plus for me. I simply asked him to hold my crutches since they normally sit in the passenger seat. The test drive went great, and everything felt straightforward and relaxed. The finance process took a little longer due to the paperwork, but again, it was very pleasant and completely transparent. There were no surprises. I did decide to add prepaid maintenance because I tend to keep my cars for a long time and prefer having them serviced at the dealership anyway. Overall, my experience at Galpin Mazda turned what had been a frustrating car search into a genuinely positive experience. The finance person I met with (Sergio) was rude and seemed like he had no interest in taking the time to answer the questions I had about my different lease options. At one point he asked..."What are you doing in my office?". So I left. A different finance person called me back the next day and was happy to answer my questions. Ultimately I got the car I wanted with what I thought was a pretty good deal but due to my initial interaction with Sergio I would recommend you try to interact with anyone else other than him.
