I'm happy to write a review for everyone we worked with to purchase a car yesterday- Taz, our salesperson, William, the manager, and Louis, in the finance office. Taz was knowledgeable, took a lot of time with us, didn't pressure us at all, and gave us time and privacy for our own conversations. We've bought many cars in our life times and we dread the whole process, especially the false urgency tactic (although in this limited inventory market there definitely is an urgency that is not the norm) and the 'let me talk to my manager' game where the salesperson goes back and forth and wastes customers' time. We were so happy not to go through that with Taz. We felt like he was working with and for us, and made the process as quick and painless as possible. We found Taz to be honest and forthright and he's the first salesperson we've ever bought a car from that we'd recommend wholeheartedly and go back to again. William was helpful with the credit check process and keeping us updated on our wait time for the finance office, and checking in on us. We had dinner plans and wanted to make sure we got out the door in time. William joked about coming to dinner with us, and honestly, I would have invited him, and Taz. They were that good. Louis was super quick, efficient and friendly, and got us in and out of the finance office in minutes. From start to finish, this was our best dealership car buying experience ever. read more

My Honda had a recall and I tried taking it to the service center in San Fernando. Had my appointment canceled on me when I arrived to drop off my car and rude customer service. I work in San Fernando, so it's the most convenient place. After a week of no available appointments I decided to call Keyes and they scheduled me next day. Customer service from Jonelle was top notch, communication was great and they were respectful of my time. They told me the process would take 1.5-2 hours so I decided to wait. The waiting room was big, clean, had snacks, wifi and desks, so I was able to get work done. I received an email at the 1.5 hour mark that my car was about to be done then Jonelle came to get me. What a difference in service. I'd rather brave the 405 traffic than go anywhere else. read more

We tried a second car and again, Marco got us what we wanted very quickly. My wife and I sat down with Sia after the test drives and went over some details. We both felt that Sia was very professional, personable, and easy to work with. When we wanted to look at the car again, both Sia and Marco worked with us to answer our questions. If I could give a -100 star rating I would. I recently purchased a car 2022 and my drivers side seat belt doesn't work!! I go in to the service department and try to get it fix, but OMAR (the guy in charge) tells me He has to order the part from Japan and its a manufacture defect on the seat belt. Worst car dealership I have ever been too. Save some time and just avoid coming here. Came here on August 3rd because They told me they had a certain model I was looking for. After arriving, they said that it was just sold (yeah right, I spoke to them one hour before arriving). I was still willing to look at another model, but they were asking for way more than other dealers (I shopped around). So I left. The next day I received a call saying that the district manager wanted me to return and that he would make it up to me and give me a good deal... came back and their was no district manager (they made him up, just to get me to come back). As you can guess, they were still asking for more than every other Honda dealership I visited. They basically just wasted my time, 2 days in a row and ruined my Labor Day weekend. I told Brandon actually what I was looking for he showed me one car, the 2020 Honda Civic Sport, and I took it. The best place to find your new car! I absolutely love the service Victor and Greg provide! They are so knowledgeable and friendly. Victor helped me get a brand new Civic 3 years ago and when my lease ran out this year he helped me get a new Accord. I was iffy about getting another Honda, I thought I wanted to try something different maybe a Toyota, but he showed me all the amazing features the car has and helped me realize I'd regret not getting the Accord. And he was right I'm insanely in love with my new car! He is not your typical car salesman, he genuinely cares about getting you what you want not what will get him the highest sale. GO TO SEE BILL BATCH. He's not the kind of salesman to wheel-and-deal you to death. He is honest and gives you the best deal that he can do right out of the gate, taking away the annoying haggling usually associated with signing for a car. Just bought a barely used Pilot from Keyes on 3-18-22. When I looked at the car, it had third row floor mats on the third seat. They sent the car to get washed while paperwork was completed. When I got home, I saw the mats were missing. I called the salesman, who didn't seem too interested. Asked him to check on them, he never called back. Got an email from them on Monday. Initially, I had been contacted by Tania, who explained to me that Keyes is "doing aggressive deals for Father's Day weekend. She stated she is certain they will beat a quote I received from a competitor's dealership of MSRP. She remained persistent and all the while professional in our interactions and frankly, she did what she was in all likelihood hired to do, bring people onto the dealership so their sales team can "go to work" so to speak. After all, they are in the business to move inventory and make money. So after 5 days of claims that Keyes Honda would match or beat a competitors price and reassurance that they would not waste my time, I made the drive in rush hour traffic as soon as I could. Took a stroll around the lot once I parked to view their selection which quite honestly appeared attractive, well organized, and well kept. Even upon entering the interior space of the dealership, I was kindly greeted by a group of salesmen to a busy, spacious, and seemingly professional atmosphere. Quickly, I was acknowledged by a staff member who assisted my in locating Tania. All things good up to this point, I shook hands and exchanged pleasantries with her. Then entered Moe. Listed as a sales consultant on the Keyes Honda website, Moe Noorzay, immediately told me that the car I was looking for was sold[frustrating, but understandable]. He then proceeded to inform me that they would be expecting another of the same vehicle to arrive later this week - [wonderful!]. He then states, "you know we aren't selling this car for MSRP right?", which prompted me to share with him the promises that were made to me by telephone, text, and in email - "WE BEAT/MATCH ALL QUOTES". He quickly silenced me with the following response: "oh no, no, no! We've been selling for $3000 to $5000 above MSRP. Put yourself in my shoes, why would sell it to you for MSRP? I just sold the car you were looking for for $5000 above MSRP." I was shocked that he made no comment addressing their price match/beat marketing strategy. I understand sales and it is obvious Moe, that you do too. What you do not understand is CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'm not interested in a lecture about sales and marketing. I'm not interested in you net profit. The notion that I could even be remotely interested in what you sold your last car for is laughable. Congrats to you for selling a car for $7k above Invoice. My interest as a customer is to be treated with respect. Understand that time is money, and my two hours + the time to inform the public of your poor business practices here on Yelp is not cheap. Try this: acknowledge the customers needs, address any issues, and provide the customer with value. Honor your word or the words of your associates. If you couldn't sell me the car that I wanted, for the price your team said they could beat... assure the customer that their efforts did not go unnoticed. I wasted 2 hours driving and 4 minutes in the dealership. No apology. No consolation gas card. Not even a "please come back and let me earn your business". I didn't leave empty handed though - I left knowing that Moe along with Keyes Honda has some work to do. Thought I'd share. Long story short I came here after weeks of due diligence, knowing I was going to purchase a Honda fit before I went home that day. I walked in with a price I was willing to pay. Let me say that I understand how dealerships work, everybody needs to make money BUT do not waste my time with games. I like straight forward people, either the deal works for both parties or it doesn't. After I few back and forths, and after we had shared the price we were willing to pay it appeared we came to an agreement. But we had to go pick up the car which was not on the lot. Good thing we did because Holy S$*&... when we saw the "BRAND NEW CAR " it was covered in so much bird shit that it looked like a Pterodactyl had pooped it out!!! We would have backed out but were assured that a thorough detailing will make it look as good as new. Finally we get back to the dealership and here is where they lost all of my respect and solidified their 1 star rating. Conviniently the printed quote that broke down our agreement went "Missing" and our Sales Manager who brokered the deal was "MIA". After several half-ass attempts to locate him, this new guy (a different sales manager) tried to renegotiate with us a new deal at a higher price. At that point I had enough and walked out. Went to HAMER HONDA right after and went home on my New Purple Berry Honda Fit at the price I had in mind when I walked in this dealership. Good riddance! read more

A car buying experience is all about the people. I've bought several Hondas over the years and Moe Noorzay is not only a car salesman but he's a car guy who happens to sell them. He was a pleasure to negotiate with and really worked to make the deal happen. I did my research ahead of time on a popular model and had a reasonable expectation of pricing that they could accept and they were very reasonable in return and worked out the numbers (cost, interest rate, terms) to make it happen. It was a hot day and the car I wanted was located off-site. He drove me to get the car and we drove back with it to the dealership to get the final paperwork completed. Then he went and helped the porters prepare and wash the car (I saw him) to help speed up the process. It's not a huge dealership which may be an advantage. I didn't feel like they were trying to nickle and dime me or try to find sneaky ways to make more money off of me. A low pressure, pleasant experience. When you go there, ask for Moe. read more

Honda of Van Nuys sales staff is deceptive, dishonest and condescending and they wasted 2 hours of my time today when I tried to buy out my lease using my credit union. They claimed I absolutely cannot use my credit union to buy out the lease and that I must use Honda to refinance it. So, when I suggested I would just bring a check to pay it off and asked for the payoff amount, they said even if I paid with a check, they would have to pull my credit and I would have to bring cash if I didn't want my credit pulled. Thirty minutes later, they brought back an inflated buyout number. So I requested they remove the DMV fees and extended warranty and resubmit the payoff number. I never got the adjusted amount. At around the 2 hour mark I finally got a man who said I should just call Honda Finance directly and in any case this dealership would charge me $1000 to buy out the lease. Five minutes later that number doubled to $2000. What the heck? I got out of there, called Honda Finance directly and they said of course I can use my credit union to buy out the lease. I guess this dealership just really doesn't want my business. Right? read more

He was pleasant and professional, and demonstrated solid knowledge of the car and industry. We weren't even sure if we wanted to take the plunge that day but Victor worked hard to help us with financing options that fit in with our budget and preferences, and even stayed late to make sure everything went through smoothly.
